The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Delphi decides to be gentle about his feelings. She figures if she stays casual and nips this in the bud right away it hopefully will not be a problem. "I know what you mean, my boyfriend says the same thing." Del says casually before taking a bit of her salad. To Delphi's knowledge Siren's never commented on the subject but a white lie likee this is helpful not harmful, she hopes.
"From what I understand if if doesn't follow the basics of what is acceptably homosapien, it is considered mutant so under that logic green skin I think would be most definatly a mutant trait. But don't underestimate the value of blue hair." Delphi says, teasing Tawny who did take a leaf out of Del's book and seem's to have put blue highlights in her now black hair.
Trevor raises an eyebrow at Tawny's blue streaked hair, saying nothing for the moment.
"Ha ha," Tawny laughs, good naturally. "Caught me. Ok, well, we're going to be in the Omni room, working on the mural if you wanna hang out, ok? You should stop by and see it- it's coming along great!" Tawny and the other art-club members take off en-masse.
After they've all left, Trevor looks at Delphi. "She's a mutant?"
"Well... It's weird." He says with a shrug. He seems to have completely missed the fact that the blue hair reference could have been in reference to Delphi, despite the vibrant colour of her hair. "Don't you think?"
I honestly never thought, wow it is weird being a mutant. But I have thought, wow it is weird people fear what they don't know. And often that fear becomes hate and horrible things happen then. I think that is weird. *Delphi says gently, ring to make her point without jarring him too much.*
It takes a second for it to hit him, and he sits back violently when he does, looking at Delphi like she just grew a second head. "You're-!" He looks around, and leans back in close. "You're a mutant?" He whispers, absolutely shocked.
Trevor, do you really think blue hair is normal or that it is bright enough indoors for sunglasses all the time? *Delphi asks indicating her two trade marks.*
I 'do' nothing, but i can tell how people around me feel. The emotional status if you will. An area this big is a bit nuts though, I can not hone in on one person easily. *Delphi says indication the large cafeteria, and once again not being completely honest, but for Trevor's benifit.*
