Once Iris had been calmed down and everyone headed to the Infirmary Ali follwed as well. Though she didn't know the girl she did feel sorry for her being out of control now that some light had been shed on the whole ordeal. She didn't have any injuries and so she merely stood back and listened for now.

Everyone followed Michael as he carried Iris to see DocProf. After he had layed the poor girl down Nika immediately went to her friends side along with Nicki and Raina. The cat girl held Iris' hand and gentley caressed it as tears continued to pour from her eyes.

She couldn't get over the guilt of what she had done. Her mind's eye continued to replay the events of her kicking Iris through one of the dorm room doors and then kicking her through the ceiling of the hallway and into a third floor. Her instincts had taken over and she was fighting as if she were back in the pits fighting for her adopted father.

Nika leaned close to Iris and layed her head on the girl's shoulder. She spoke softly while Raina and the others were talking. "I'm so sorry Iris."

Ted put a comforting arm around Raina as she finished her rant. "Yes, the mansion is a safe haven, but not because of the walls, or the security systems. It's because there are people like us, and we have just proven that we can take care of ourselves. Look at us, a group of teenagers just managed to deal with something that the army would have struggled to even comprehend. I think that this has taught us all something, that we have these powers for a reason, and that we have to use them. If something like this happens again, then I want to be there, so that I can help in any way I can, despite the risks of my being in danger. I know that this has been tiring for all of us, and I think we should all get some rest. If anyone feels they should stay here with Iris, fine, but i for one am going to go outside and relieve the pent-up stress that i know we are all feeling."

At that moment, Ted noticed someone drop to the floor in pain. "Damnit, Doc, think you can handle another patient?" Ted lifted the guy up onto a bed, and the Doc was quick to get working on him.

(OOC: I just thought it funny that Shawn fell unconscious and nobody responded to it XD)

Raina turned to Ted with a red crying face, her eyebrows still furrowed in frustration. She listened but when he went to pick up Shawn she pulled away. "So that's it then." she spat. "Nobody thinks it's crazy that a bunch of super human kids -who can barley control their own powers- are taking on some unknown evil." she said the powers part very convincingly, it would have stung a few people, herself included. But it was true. "I came here to this school to be safe. I haven't felt safe since I've walked in the doors. Not only do we have the ignorant people out there, we've got the evil ones to fear... and sometimes... even eachother..." though this incident with Iris was an extream, it wasn't all that rare as so many of the mutants were trying to learn to use their powers.

"I don't know what I think about this place anymore." she looked at Iris with sad eyes. "It seems like it's just like any other place in the world. No different..."

Raina was upset- but her words made sense. It would be clear that she was losing faith in her reasons for coming here. And with that she stood up and left the infirmary.

ooc: I just figured it was about time for someone to lose it And Raina's a very fragile person. Raina's from a unique environment where prior to her becoming a mutant the main goal of her tribe was survival- so there was no good vs evil etc. Everyone worked for eachother and those morals have engrained themselves inside her despite being sent out of her tribe. Im trying to stay true to her character with these posts.

Anyway, I'm sticking her for a walk outside the mansion. Fell free to aproach her!

Shawn woke up a little later up on a bed. He put a hand up to his head and then to his side. Apparently while he was out DocProf had bandaged him up and given him some medication to ease the pain. "Oww" Shawn said more to himself than to anyone. When he woke up he heard Raina speaking again. Shawn saw her leave and everyones eyes follow her. He thought about everything that Ted and Mattlair had said about this place and about other mutants trying to hurt us. What's the point of having powers if we cant even protect ourselves from other mutants inside these walls. But we did do a pretty good job getting Iris under control. Unfortunately they destroyed most of the castle. He thought about this and relaxed while everyone had been talking

Mettaliar's eyes followed Raina out the door. His face turned red from embarrassment. He hadn't meant to hurt someone like that, and all he thought he was doing was relaying information. The girls words were true, yet it was more than that. He felt he should give a talk one last time. Since Iris seemed to be in control of other mutants he felt that he was going to leave for a bit and hopefully come back to a normal Iris.

"Listen guys, I'll be back soon. I'm just going to check around the place to see what we need to fix. If anything happens I'll come back, though." He suddenly turned and walked out the door. The ordeal may be over, but the aftermath was just beginning.

"Ok guys, I'm going after Raina to see if she's ok." Ted left into the corridor after Raina, mostly to see if she was ok, but a part of him just wanted something to do to keep his mind off of the day's events. This hadn't been a good day for anyone, of that he was sure.

Shawn sat up in the ed he was in and continued to breath deeply and steadily. His head was spinning from exertion his powers had put through him. He was very tired from the fight and was in a lot of pain from all the injuries that he sustained throughout the whole battle.

A smile spread across his face. I've never used my powers for that long before. Shawn realized this and was happy that he had just achieved what he thought was a new step in getting stronger with his mutation. His smile turned into a grimace as people started leaving to blow off steam and a especially strong pain hit him in the side and other places where he was injured and bandaged up.

Nicki walked outside, following Michael. She didn't know Michael all that well, but he was a nice guy and he seemed really kinda...lost.

She walked outside, stepping over to the invincible man.

"You did really well in there you know? I don't think anyone could have helped Iris like you did..." Nicki leaned against the wall, looking over to Michael.

(OOC: Nicki, Michael left completely and is now out by the pool talking with Ruby and Aurica. I'd like to post in here, but he's already in two places at once)

An annoying buzz reached Iris's ears. Grumbling, she turned over and reached out to hit the snooze button. It kept buzzing. She turned off the power. Still buzzing. "Stupid clock..." She sat up and took a closer look, then pulled out the cord from the wall.

And the buzzing continued, louder now. She frowned. "What?" She poked the display, trying to figure out what was happening. Suddenly the thing came to life. It grinned evilly at her, then jumped out and attacked her, aiming to bite her hands....


Iris awoke with a gasp and sat up fast. Just as quickly she wished she hadn't done so. Her eyes shut tight, and a hand went to her temples. She moaned under her breath.

"Ooooh... What hit me? My whole body hurts..."

Geo stood up. "Hey everyone, she's waking up," He walked over next to the bed. "Umm alot of stuff hit you but you'll have to ask the others for spacifics, my name is Tristan how are you feeling."

Nika had dozed off with her head resting on Iris' arm, but when Iris shot up it startled the young cat girl as well. Nika sat up quickly with eyes wide open. it took a few moments for her to realize iris was back to being herself.

Leaning over the battered girl Nika hugged her tightly. "I'm so glad you're ok. I was so worried about you. I'm soo soo sorry Iris." That was all Nika could say before breaking down and crying and again burying her face in the other girl's arm.

Geo looked up to the girl hugging Iris, "I take it you know each other. Uh i.. I'm new here, hell of a first day. What happened up there,"
