The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

((OOC: All Order members have been sent a text message to their cell phones. The message informs them all of a gathering in the new cathedral portion of Sanctuary.

Entering the new catherdal section of Sanctuary brought a wide smile to Syn's face. It was better than she had pictured it in her mind. Lisa truly out did herself on this one thought Syn. She could feel the omnipotent pressence that the scene created. The various statues, the candles and the various thrones for the Order members. Currently there were only five thrones. One for Abyss, Isabel, the twins Amp and Vibe and one in the middle for herself. More could easily be added for any future members though.
Walking slowly towards her onyx black throne the girl admired some of the scenes depicted on the walls and ceiling. Dragons and demons fighting with knights or just standing with winds spread wide in a menacing stance. This was the only time Syn could think of where she felt small.
Finally reaching her beautifully decorated chair Syn sat down and placed her hands on the arm rests. All she could do now was wait for her fellow members to arrive.

>Incoming,< Vibe announced from behind a glass of diet Sprite.
Amp didn't bother to look up from her chef salad, but reached for her cellphone just as it began to buzz. 'New Txt Message' flashed across the ID screen, with Syn's number underneath. She hit the button to read it.
>What's up?< Vibe munched on her own salad.
"She called a meeting. At the Cathedral? Since when was there a Cathedral?" The shorter-haired twin looked confused. Vibe shrugged.
>Must be a new addition. C'mon. We'd better get going.< She snapped her finger at the waiter to get doggie-bags.
Twenty minutes later, the Twins paused on the threshhold of the Sanctuary's newest remodel project. Their heels clicked and echoed off of the vaulted ceiling. Amp's eyebrows went up in surprise.
>Wow! Syn's been busy.< Vibe leaned backwards to see upwards.
"Speak of the devil," Amp remarked aloud, having spotted the black-and-red haired lady across the room. She strode confidently over to the throne. "I see you've been busy Miss Syn." The extra thrones didn't escape her notice, but she didn't mention them, either.
Vibe followed, a bit more slowly, behind her sister, taking in everything. Finally she spoke up, so that Syn could also hear her. "Really busy. What's the occasion?"
The expressions on the twins faces as they walked through the cathedral brought a smile to Syn's face. She felt great pride in what she had added to Sanctuary. It seemed the feeling it gave her also inspired feelings in others. "Welcome home amp and Vibe" Syn noded to each respectively. "Indeed things have been busy around here. I'm calling a gathering of our memebrs. I feel it's time we all got to know each other more as well as meet our new members."
As Syn finished her little statement in came the clones. She knew it wasn't Abyss who sat in the throne next to her, but she let it go. Afterall, they all looked alike. "I'm glad you approve Jupiter."
Isabel had also been looking for a new room to claim as her own when her phone signaled that there was a new message waiting for her. With a bit of awkwardness she maneuvered her phone out of her pocket with one hand while shifting a few cracked or broken paintbrushes into her other hand, mindful of the few books she had tucked under one arm that she'd managed to salvage from the wreck that used to be her room. Scanning over the message and then replacing her phone into her pocket she shifted the small bundle of her least damaged belongings and set off down the hall once again. She'd either have to go out and buy replacements for the things she'd lost, or she'd have to go out and steal some. Honestly stealing them seemed like a more exciting option, though it hardly got any worse than lifting a few books from the library or taking some stray brushes and paints from assorted individuals that settled into Central Park to create various pieces of artwork. Shrugging off those thoughts she ducked into the nearest unoccupied room, dropped her things on the bed inside and exited, closing the door behind her and putting a shallow scratch into the wood. She would be able to more easily find it later by doing so, and it may indicate to some others that the room was now occupied. She would be sure to make some sort of sign with her name on it and hang it outside her door at a later date. But for now it seemed she had more pressing matters to attend to.
She strode into the Cathedral with a very comfortable air about her. There was no rush in her step, nor any looks of emergency about her upon her arrival. Her easy gait slowed a bit more as she looked at the newest addition to the Sanctuary, her gaze curiously wandering over the various works of art that decorated the area. She would have to return at some point to try and sketch a few of the figures in the paintings as well as one or two of the statues. Some of the subject were a bit dark, but they were also beautiful in their own ways. And while this art greatly fascinated her, the row of thrones and the other Order members that had already gathered held a place of higher importance to her. Easily she made her way to one of the five thrones and plopped down into it, looking a little less than dignified in the position she settled herself into. Casually she draped her legs over one arm of the chair while her spine resting in the crook between the opposite arm and the back of the throne, her arms crossed and her head tilted so that her temple rested against the chair's back. "Well it's nice to see you all again," she commented, shifting ever so slightly before settling back down again. "I take it there's a reason as to why we've all been called here, Syn. Care to share it with the class?" she inquired, an easy smile settling on her features as her gaze turned to regard her Leader.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
A figure caught Syn's emerald eyes and she turned to look more directly at who was now approaching. It was Isabel. Though they had never really discussed it Syn felt as if the other girl was somewhat of a long time friend after their first meeting outside the front doors of Sanctuary. That was a good time she thought as she smiled to Isabel's lounging manner. "Nice to see you again too old friend. I've decided it was time for us to get to know our new members as well as discuss our future. A nice meet and greet if you will."
Packmaster strode into the room, followed by two of his wolves. Before he had gone to sleep, Syn had told him to come here about this time. Noticing his Alpha, he and his packmates walked over and bowed to her.
Nodding to Packmaster as he annouced his arrival Syn looked over the pair of wolves he had brought with him. "Thank you for coming Packmaster. I shall make the introductions once everyone is here. You may sit in any of the pews there." She gestured to Packmaster's left.
Life the past couple of weeks had been odd. Geo had just gotten back from his trip out to Ohio to see his so called family, he thought it was a rather productive trip given his father was probally sitting in ICU at this very moment. Geo was in the garage of the sanctuary, the hood of his car was propped open and a light hung from the hood. Geo was leaned forward reaching for the intake manifold. He was wearing only a pair of jeans and his boots, he had taken off his shirt to keep it from getting greasy, proof show'd in the grease across his chest. His freshly tattoed arms were still a bit red.
Out of nowhere a loud guitar sounded folowed by a deep voiced man singing "Goin' through this life with so much regrets! Feels like i haven't got over it y-yet!" Geo's head shot up and he hit the hood of the car. Pain shot down his spine and he grabbed the back of his head and stepped away from the car swearing quietly to himself. His right hand jammed into his pocket and retrived a cell phone that he flipped open. A text from Syn was on the screen, "Meetin' at the cathidral, well this outta be fun." Geo flipped the phone shut and slide it back into his pocket. He picked up a pair of wrenchs that had been sitting on the engine block and the light and tossed them in a tool chest near by. Grabbing a shammy he closed the hood and wiped the grease and sweat from his forhead. Walking over to the driver side door he grabbed his t-shirt that had been tossed across the door and pulled it on over his head. Then he grabbed his leather jacket from the seat and pulled it on, he slammed the door and walked towards the exit.
---------------------------------------------
Ten minutes later Geo was walking through the doorway of the cathedral, he looked around and let out a deep whistle. "Damn, y'all got way to much free time on your hands," His voice was magnified in the huge open space, in fact any noise seemed to be, he could clearly hear the clinking of his swaying chain and the thump of his boots. He noticed that there was only two people in the room that he really knew, well eight if you wanted to get technical. Geo walked up the aisle and straight over to Syn, "How you doin' tonight Syn?" He asked politly with an added wink before wandering over to where the clones stood, "How's it goin' fellas?" He asked giving the nearest one a pat on the shoulder.
Sonya/Teresa is a little late to the meeting, mostly out of an unwillingness to hurry her snack to get here on time.
Arriving at the “Cathedral” she pauses briefly to take in the completely over-the-top architecture, and attempts mostly successfully to avoid cracking up at the skull-encrusted thrones. Is she serious? I feel like I’m on the set of Buffy or something.
Still, it doesn’t really surprise her… it had become pretty clear, both in the aftermath of the Camps closing and Isabel’s trial, that the Order is quite dedicated to being the Bad Guys. That would have bothered her once, she’s fairly sure. She’s not sure why, other than the sheer outrageous aesthetics of it.
She waves vaguely at Syn and the recently reunited twins, suddenly remembering Slate’s comments about them working for Hunter. Which might be a problem, since she’s at least ostensibly supposed to be trying to find out how to take Hunter down… though the truth is, she hasn’t been doing much along those lines lately.
The multiple Abysses (Abyssi? Abees?) are, as usual, hard to miss; she finds herself wondering whether there are other twins in the group she hasn’t met yet. Isabel, at least, she’s pretty sure is a singleton – good thing, too. She waves to them all as well.
The two guys, she doesn’t know. The scarred shirtless guy is intriguing, but something about him raises her hackles. The kid in the muscle shirt, on the other hand, is actually pretty cute; she wonders what his story is. He seems friendly enough, so she makes her way over to where he is chatting with one of the Abysses. “Hi… don’t think we’ve met, have we? I’m Teresa.”

(OOC: Sorry for the length. Trying to acknowledge everyone and still project the right attitude. )
Indeed things have been busy around here. I'm calling a gathering of our members. I feel it's time we all got to know each other more as well as meet our new members."
" "New members?" " both girls chorused aloud. They heard Abyss enter, but Syn's remark had them curious, so their attention was on her instead.
Until they were scooped up in a huge bear hug. Vibe could feel Amp immediately tense up, and a high-pitched squeak sounded against the open area, making them sound like a pair of squeaky toys.
"You might have to get used to that, I missed seeing you two standing next to each other."
The tension vanished almost immediately, as did the squeak. Amp leaned back with a smile to look upside down at the big red man.
"You're not the only one," she chuckled. Vibe also giggled.
"Hope you've got a set of earplugs then, Pluto," she replied meaningfully.
Another set of footsteps reached the girls' ears, heralding another new arrival.
"Issie!" Amp's smile widened a bit at seeing Isabel. She'd still been confined to bed at the time of the trial, and had worried that she end up back in a Camp. Seeing her free as well gave Amp a much needed emotional boost. That meant all of her Order friends were now reunited.
That just left the new members.
"I take it there's a reason as to why we've all been called here, Syn. Care to share it with the class?" Isabel asked. Syn grinned.
"Nice to see you again too old friend. I've decided it was time for us to get to know our new members as well as discuss our future. A nice meet and greet if you will."
As if on cue, more footsteps arrived. By this time, the various sounds were echoing around the area. Vibe grimaced a bit since they sounded quite a bit louder to her than the others.
The next few arrivals received classic 'Once Over' stares from the Sonic Sisters. First the man with the wolf wingmen. The girls almost missed the second and third sets of footfalls, though the wolves nails made a very, very soft, odd clicking sound on the floor. The girls exchanged mirrored glances of surprise. Whoever heard of wolves in New York City?? Except for the occasional werewolf report.....
>Mmm.... he's a cutie,< Vibe remarked silently. Amp said nothing. In fact her face remained fairly expressionless as she followed his progress across the room, toward Syn.
"Miss Syn, I have come as you requested."
"Thank you for coming Packmaster. I shall make the introductions once everyone is here. You may sit in any of the pews there."
>Packmaster? What kind of name is that?<
"Hmph."
Vibe had little chance to question her sister's unusual response, because two more people arrived. She remembered seeing both of them around the labs, though she couldn't remember their names. Amp gave the boy barely a glance before wandering over to speak with Isabel and one of Abyss's clones. Her sister's lack of interest in this new guy, too, threw Vibe for a loop.
“Hi… don’t think we’ve met, have we? I’m Teresa.”
The woman's introduction reached Vibe's ears. Since she was curious about the new guy, she headed in that direction rather than the one Amp took. She hopped up on a nearby wooden bench, and perched atop it.
"So, how many new members are we talking about Big Red?" She couldn't be sure which Abyss he was until he spoke, but the nickname applied to all.
Packmaster nodded to Syn, and walked over and sat on a pew. His wolves jumped up on either side of him, keeping an eye on everyone for him as he rested a bit more.
The fires roared with hunger as Shade's restless eyes danced behind their closed eyelides. Suddenly, a tiny buzz snapped him from his light sleep. Reaching for his phone, he casually glanced at the message before he closed his eyes.
The cool feeling of darkness was very common throughout the Sanctuary, but Shade managed to find the right shadow he wanted. Rather than using the comtemporary door, Shade 'jumped' to the shadow casted by a pillar in the cathedral. It might surprise several people, a man suddenly appearing from the shadows, but Shade always liked the effect.
Strolling from the side into one of the pews, Shade slid down until he was close enough not be bitten by the huge wolf that sat next to him. He gave a light salute to Syn before propping his feet up on the pew in front of him and relaxing back into the pew, that evil smirk set upon his face.
Isabel gave a slight nod as Syn gave an answer to her question. So it was a 'meet and greet' event, huh? That could certainly get interesting. She felt like she'd missed out on so many things when she was locked away in the Camps and then immediately after detained in order for her trial to take place. She'd expected that Syn would continue recruiting new Order members in order to find more mutants loyal to their cause and to increase the strength of their organization. Her interest was peaked upon learning that she would get to meet some of these new members. She was very curious as to how many of them there were and what kind of mutations each of them had. Isabel always had liked meeting new mutants. They were such interesting people. And unlike most humans she met, a lot of them held a strong sense to look after their own, regardless if one knew another very well or if they'd just met. She liked that sort of unwritten guideline to protect your own. It was almost like making up for the family most of them no longer had. Isabel appreciated the fact that there were mutants willing to watch her back for her, especially since she had a tendency to jump into all kinds of messy situations with barely a thought. She always reminded herself to make sure to do the same for them. There weren't that many people out there willing to take care of others so willingly. She would be especially sure to look after those that resembled a sort of family to her in the Order.
Lazily her head turned so she could observe those that were slowly trickling into the cathedral, the air of calmness and contentment never leaving her as her gaze flitted from one to the next. The first to arrive was a shirtless young man, though his state of dress was less peculiar than the two animals stalking along on either side of him. She assumed the two beasts had something to do with his mutation and simply shrugged it off as he moved to speak briefly with Syn. She payed just as little attention as another young man entered as well as a young woman soon after, neither of which she knew. However, a wide smile infected her previously calm features as a pair or red-headed that she recognized strode in. "Hi Amp!" she called back as one of the twins greeted her. "It's good to see you again. How have you been?," she inquired as the girl approached and her sister broke off to go speak with either Abyss or one of his clones as well as a pair of newcomers. Isabel hadn't seen much of anyone after her trial, especially those that had been in the Camps. "You know anything about the new kids?"
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
One wolf kept an eye on Shade, as it didn't know if anyone in the room could be trusted, other than it's master's Alpha. It and the other wolf quickly woke Packmaster up as Abyss walked towards them.
Packmaster nodded and shook Abyss's hand, "I am Packmaster. These wolves are currently going by Tomak and Darmad."
The two wolves, ignoring how their kind was supposed to act, nodded to Abyss and went back to keeping an eye on the gathered Mutants.
