The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Lily was not sure she approved of Alex's methods of getting more booze. Pulling innocent bystanders by the tie was not exactly the X-girl spirit... Hmmm champagne. Sounds good. She was familiar with champagne. Apparently champagne was on the way, and in time with that, Alex's good mood returned. Sitting down sounded like an exxxxcelent idea too. Grinning at the new song Lily swayed her hips and spun around before loosing her balance and collapsing into the chair in a fit of giggles. Singing along with Alex she turned sideways in the chair, dangling her legs over one arm and hanging her head back over the other. She stared up at the ceiling. It was a very pretty ceiling. "Hit me baby one more time..." This night was just soooo much fun... Hic.

Room service had just taken the last remnants of Kaz's extremely large meal as he stood on his balcony overlooking the grounds while sipping on a full flavored whiskey. They assumed he had meant to feed at least four people with the amount he had ordered. He didn't confirm or deny it to them, but it had taken the better part of two hours to finish it all. He had allowed himself about an hour's nap at the halfway point of his meal to let his body digest and make room for the rest.
He noticed movement down below passing beneath the lights casting shadows that stretched out into the distance to touch the shadows that filled the night. He didn't pay attention at first until his ears picked up two voices, a bit different than how he was use to hearing them, but still familiar. Shifting he focused on the two figures below and recognized them almost immediately. He sighed as he also saw them stumble a bit. 'This could turn out badly.' He thought as went back into his suite and shut the balcony door, after shifting back to normal.
Once again, for at least that fourth time that day, Kaz made his way to his wardrobe. Black silk shirt, red silk tie, silver suit, black shoes with silver clasps, silver watch covered and decorated with diamonds of various sizes, a silver necklace with a stylized dragon's claw filled with onyx and diamonds, adorned his body by the time he was done. Before heading out the door he picked up his cane, the bottom tipped with silver and topped with a silver dragon with rubies for eyes.
It didn't take him long to reach the lobby, but it had been long enough to have missed the small altercation between Alex and Abram. Kaz had heard the girls singing clearly since he stopped out of the elevator. He made a show of stopping and looking at the women for a few moments before moving up to the counter. Mr. Abrams looked up in Kaz's direction. When his eyes caught Kaz's that wide, perfectly white smile appeared on his face. "Mr. Corydon. Pleasure to see you again. How has your stay been so far?" When he and Alex had come in a few hours earlier, another man who's name Kaz couldn't remember had been at the counter, so Kaz knew his play could work without suspicion.
Kaz had told the hotel he was here on business, and while it was obvious to nearly anyone he was a mutant, he had made arrangements for his privacy and for that fact to be kept under wraps, if nothing happened, he'd give the hotel a large bonus. "It's be lovely. I was quite happy the Presidential Suite had opened up on such short notice." He turned only slightly, enough to look at the women but making sure he still had Abrams' attention. "Lively wouldn't you say." Abrams nodded a bit and seemed slightly distracted as he looked around for a moment, as if he expected someone to show up any moment.
"Ahhhh...I see." That seemed to get an odd look from Abrams, one which he hid quickly. "I take it you're waiting for security or some such to collect them. Been dipping into the sauce too much." Kaz stepped away from the counter before the man had a chance to respond. "I'll see what I can do."
With those words Kaz made his way to the women. "Good evening ladies." He said in a slight bow and gave a small salute with the maw of his cane. "This seat taken?" He said as he motioned to the space closest to both of them. Without waiting for a reply he sat down. Speaking softly, "You two seem to have had a bit of fun'ya?" He looked at each of them. "Since it seems Abrams over there has already called someone to take care of you, I suggest we take this party somewhere else. Either back to one of your rooms, though Alex's might not be the best idea, or we can go up to my suite. What do ya say?" Kaz relaxed into his seat as he waited for their responses.

Rolling over to his left side Sam let out another sigh trying to calm his breathing enough to a comfortable pace, a pace which would allow him to sleep but as it was things weren’t allowing him to calm himself, hence the tossing and turning for hours on end. Sit ups didn’t work, counting back didn’t work and a warm shower didn’t work it was clear to Sam after that moment he was more upset about the argument earlier with Alex and Kaz than he had cared to admit.
That was after all his first fight with her something he would have preferred never happened, but he did have reason to be upset with her right? She was in Kaz’s arms and they were saying they shouldn’t be doing this… and then they didn’t even bother explaining why they were like that. He didn’t really accuse them of anything right? Turning over and punching the pillow Sam buried his face into the pillow and wished he had access to the danger room for a few hours to help him get his thoughts straight.
Rolling over again Sam’s ears rang out in annoyance as the hotel’s phone started to ring. Reluctantly picking it up Sam muttered a muffled hello in one end as a concerned voice greeted him on the other line. ”What?” he sighed and was ready to stream off a round of curses as bit his tongue, ”Alright, I’ll be right down…” after hanging up it hit Sam that he mentioned he would need back up. Sighing again as he grabbed his shirt and tossed his pants and shoes on Sam hoped it wasn’t Kaz that was singing with her, it was the last thing he needed to see.
Taking the stairs instead of the elevator Sam sighed again as he opened the stairwell door ready to be calm as possible, if she was singing and being a problem there was a possibility that alcohol was involved and if that was the case she might not be happy to see him, needless to say he would be ready for thrown objects.
Walking into the main lobby he spotted a pair of women a Kaz and the receptionist who let out a sigh of relief when he could be seen. Eyeing Kaz first and for most he heard them that they should take this party somewhere else. Sam agreed but he didn’t agree on the location Kaz suggested. It was obvious that Kaz had just showed up seeing as he was the only one not singing but then again Sam never pictured Kaz for a singing drunk more of the type that looked for fights when there was no reason to fight.
Jewel was there and again he eyed Alex who were both singing to Britney Spears. If this little episode were in a different time or place he would have found this humorous but seeing as it was then and there, there was little to laugh about. They were on a mission to help save lives not blow off steam and attract attention.
Sighing again as he walked closer to the group he kept his location behind Kaz as he looked to both Alex and Jewel with a look on his face that said, ‘What am I going to do with you two?’ there wasn’t anger on his face it was far more relaxed than he should have probably been but they were drunk and you catch more bees with honey. As a leader of the team Sam was furious but as a friend and boyfriend there wasn’t much he could say, after all they both might have seen Sam after to many drinks. ”Think it might be a better idea to call it a night, you both have to get up early tomorrow morning.”

He had been pouring over the maps and plans in his room for the past 3 hours straight without a break. He decided that he wasn't doing anymore good looking at these maps for the night. It took him a lot longer putting everything away since he was falling asleep and had to keep forcing open his eyes just to see where he was going. When he finally laid down Streak had a rather unpleasant sleep. This mission only reminded him too well of what it was like for him back when America tried this. He tossed and turned in his bed as he tried to get a better sleep. When the phone rang he was only to glad to answer it. Annoyed that he'd been woken up, but glad that he wasn't in that dream anymore. a simple grunt was given through his end of the phone and the receptionist told him that Lily was down there with Alex. He'd also mentioned that he'd already called Sam as well. Streak hung up the phone and said to no one, "This can't be good." Streak got dressed in just a pair of shorts and a t-shirt and headed out of his room to the elevator.
It didn't take long for the elevator to get him down to the lobby. When he stepped out of the elevator he noticed that Sam and Kaz were already there. Was it just him or did the temperature in the lobby seem to get colder with the three of them already congregated in one area. Right at the moment he wished someone had filled him in on what was going on. As he got closer he noticed that Lily and Alex were both very inebriated. Streak heard Sam suggest they all get some sleep and he couldn't help but smile. Whatever was going on he figured he was the only sober one that was finding this amusing. Kaz seemed pretty serious looking and like he'd just gotten out of a business meeting, so humor didn't seem like something he was interested in right now. "What is going on here?" the silver eyed man said in an amused tone and stepping up next to Sam. LIly and Alex both seemed to be having a good time singing Brittany Spears. He wasn't sure why Kaz was here but hopefully someone was going to fill him in.
Alexandra let her head rest on the back of the chair while she continued to sing Britney Spears with Lily. “And I will survive!” Huh? She stopped singing, blinking confused. Now, what did she do wrong? “Oops. Wrong song.” Alexandra giggled at her error, blue eyes traveling to Lily. Lily was watching the ceiling. Alexandra looked at the ceiling as well. Pretty ceiling. Pretty lights. Alexandra smiled at the pretty ceiling and the pretty lights before starting to sing once again.
"Good evening ladies."
“My loneliness is killing me…”
Huh?
Blink, blink. Blue eyes traveled from the pretty ceiling toward the man who had addressed them. Blue eyes also narrowed when the image was too blurry for her to see. Blink, blink.
Was that-
“Kazzel!” Alexandra chanted happily. “Sing with us!” Arms were thrown in the air happily as she motioned Kaz to join her and Lily.
But… but. Kazzel came to deliver bad news, she was about to find out.
Since it seems Abrams over there has already called someone to take care of you, I suggest we take this party somewhere else. Either back to one of your rooms, though Alex's might not be the best idea, or we can go up to my suite. What do ya say?"
Gah. Too many words, too many words. It took Alexandra seconds before her brain could pick up Kaz’s words clearly. And she stopped registering them right after Kazzel mentioned ‘called someone to take care of you’.
Her good mood melted away instantaneously. Smile faded away. Eyes became sharper as they went past Kaz and stopped on the frame of the receptionist. Mr. Abram, however was too distracted to see the menacing look he was getting. “He did what?!” Alexandra hissed the words out, hands grasping the chair tightly.
Mr. Abram was to learn something very important today. Messing with Alexandra Kettler was bad. Messing with a drunken Alexandra Kettler was dangerous for your health.
Ding.
Elevator doors opened. And from the elevator stepped her favorite person in the whole wide world at the moment. Sam.
…
Mr. Abram dared to call Sam to deal with her?
”Think it might be a better idea to call it a night, you both have to get up early tomorrow morning.”
Oh, the glare she gave Sam could have made the ice mancer feel what freezing actually meant.
Ding.
Elevator doors opened again. Streak came out of it. Was this turning into a party or what?
"What is going on here?"
She glanced casually at Streak before her eyes returned to the receptionist. Helloooo, Mr. Abram!
Alexandra pushed herself of the chair, slowly. Fast movements made her dizzy, she knew that.
Blink. Blink.
She ignored everyone as with small steps and throwing daggers out of her eyes, she walked over to the receptionist desk. Elbows were set on the wooden surface, chin rested in her palms as she softened her eyes and cleared her throat to get Mr. Abram’s attention.
“Ding.” she called out at the man who currently had his back turned her. With slightly widened eyes Mr. Abram turned to the molecule manipulator, confusion visible in his eyes. Why, the poor soul, he thought that she could be handled by Sam or Streak or someone. It really didn’t matter who he called.
“Can I… help you with something else miss?”
A sweet but fake smile appeared on the molecule manipulator’s face. “Why, of course. Come closer. I don’t want anyone else to hear.”
Innocent blink.
Reluctantly, the man came closer but still not as close as Alexandra would have liked. “Closer.” Alexandra called, her voice dipped in honey and milk. With a confused blink, the man moved again, this time stopping right on the other side of the desk. The molecule manipulator gestured her prey- errr, the receptionist to lean forward.
The stupid lil’ Mr. Abram did. And he fell right in the trap.
Hands grasped on the jacket, pulling the unsuspecting receptionist down. The honey dipped smile disappeared as Alexandra glared at the man.
“Now, Mr. Abram. I thought we were friends. But you called someone to take care of me.”
Alexandra glanced over her shoulder, eyes stopping on Sam for a few moments before looking back at the frightened receptionist. Clearly, dealing with drunken mademoiselles wasn’t something he did very often.”You called him to get me?” And of course, the receptionist should have known to which one of the hims she was referring.
“Do you think I need to be taken care of, Mr. Abrams?”
“Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-”
And the molecule manipulator continued to glare as her hands were grasping tighter on the man’s shirt.
When the elevator went 'Ding', Lily let her head drop back as she looked down the hall, upside down. The figure in the suit looked familiar. She blinked. He looked familiar and very flashy. Not because of the suit, because of the... Hell. So many shinies. Lily giggled. "Hey Kaz! Gooood evenin'!" Kaz took a seat next to them and went into a horribly long and elaborate way of suggesting they took the party somewhere else. Lily was still looking at him upside down, eyes narrowing at all the tiny lights that her sixth sense was picking up around him. On him. Did he come to carry Alex into her room?... Did that already happen? Mmmm, déja vu. "Kaz, you are shiny." she giggled, still humming to herself "You... Are... Shiny. Shiny shiny ssssshh.... sh*t Sam's here." She sat bolt upright, a look of guilt taking the place of the smile on her face as she looked up at the team leader. Uh-oh. Alex apparently didn't mind. She seemed to be in a bad mood too, but her attention was fixed on the receptionist. Why the receptionist? What has he done?... Lily was confused. Ding. She knew it was Shawn before the elevator door opened; heck she'd followed him home. Lily was suddenly aware of the whole situation. Dizzy, but much less cheerful. Dammit. Curling up into a ball she rested her chin on her knees as she looked up at the guys. Both team leaders were here, and although neither of them looked pissed yet, Lily was already sober enough to tell she was in trouble. Not to mention Alex. They were in trouble. Speaking of which... The receptionist was in trouble too. Wrapping her arms around her knees she felt her cheeks burn red with shame. She wondered if she should go and try to calm Alex down, but frankly, she was frightened of her right now. Besides she was still too dizzy to walk straight. Somewhere in the back of her mind the sober Lily made a point of yelling that she should have been the one to take care of Alex instead of getting drunk with her. "Ooops." she muttered, punctuating with a tiny hiccup and glancing up at Sam and Shawn "I'm sorry. It's my fault..."

Kaz sighed, the two were quite drunk, drunk enough they didn't seem to hold their tongues much. Which just meant it would definitely be better to get them out of the lobby and somewhere more private. He gave Circe a friendly smile as he shook his head and declined to sing along. Where Alex had energy, Jewel seemed to be lolling around a bit as she looked at him upside down. Before she seems like she didn't care for him, but now she was being fairly friendly and he was shiny. Kaz wasn't exactly sure what she meant by it, but he had a few guesses.
It didn't take her long while repeating the word to realize Sam had come out of the elevator. Her reaction was fairly amusing. Big bad Sam OoooOOoooo. Kaz didn't understand why she was so worried. With how fast she sat upright and how intoxicated she was, for a moment he wasn't sure if she would be able to stop herself and imagined her throwing herself forward onto her face on accident. While he felt like chuckling at the thought, he didn't, it had dawned on him who Abrams had called to take the girls away. Sam showed up first, followed shortly by someone he had yet to meet in person, Streak.
Sam suggested the women end the festivities and head to bed, which, with no surprise to Kaz, Alex didn't seem to like or agree with. Whether it was solely because she was annoyed with Sam, or because she didn't like the idea, or both, he didn't know. Streak it seemed, didn't know much about what was going on, neither did Kaz in all reality. He knew what he pieced together from what he saw and heard.
Kaz turned and watched Alex and what she was doing to poor Abrams. He was doing his best to stay within the lines of his job description, and his best was pretty good as far as Kaz was concerned. Kaz also noticed the man's reluctance in coming closer to Alex, it might have something to do with how menacing she seemed or perhaps it was further away from the panic alarm. If that was the case, if security or police showed up, things could get complicated.
Kaz stood up to stand next to Jewel and placed a hand on her shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze. Looking at Streak he spoke, but only so those nearby could hear, "My guess, they went for a few drinks," He glanced at Alex, "Got some things off their chests, had a night of fun, and just got back. I saw them coming into the hotel from my room. I figured it was my responsibility as their teammate to take care of them, so I came down." Looking at Jewel as he knelt down to her eye level, "Nothing has happened, nothing to be sorry for." He moved in closer and whispered so only she could hear, "Come to my room, I can help with the alcohol." He gave her one more gentle shoulder squeeze.
"Now if you'll excuse me." He stood up and walked towards Alex and Abrams. She was manhandling him, with actions like that, Kaz was surprised he hadn't pressed the panic button...there went that thought. Kaz saw the man's arm moving carefully and smoothly. "Mr.Abrams!" He called out as he walked. It had the affect he was hoping for. Abrams took his eyes off Alex, a bit unsure, and looked at Kaz. "Could you send three bottles of your best champagne to my room please." It was framed as a question, to be curious, but it was anything but a question. "Y-yes Sir." His voice was unsteady but he would do it, as soon as he was able to.
Kaz leaned one elbow on the counter as he looked at Alex. "My dear, there's no reason for the festivities to end so soon. The night is still young, why don't you join me. I might need some help with all the champagne when it gets to my room." He kept his voice somewhat low so Alex and Abrams were the only ones to hear him speak

The glare he was receiving from Alex was enough to make anyone feel uncomfortable he however chose not to show it but shifted his gaze to Streak then Kaz who were now discussing what was going on. He nodded his head slightly as Alex got up and walked to the front desk where Abram was, the man who had called him about his drunken ‘wife’s’ episode. Sighing slightly as he watched her move he turned his attention back to Jewel who was apologizing for the night saying it was her fault.
Watching Kaz explain the situation and choosing not to look Kaz in the eyes he nodded and cleared his throat making his opinion clear, ”Your not the one to blame tonight Jewel. It was my fault I probably set her off….” Sam trailed off as he watched Alex pull the front desk clerk by the shirt dragging him close to her face.
The man clearly looked out for help but before he could do anything, the elf was already on the move. Sighing again he watched Kaz try to coax Alex into letting the man go, he couldn’t hear anything but that didn’t matter maybe he was trying to convince her to come back to his room or her room or something else. Either way the tiredness from the days before was starting to boil into a jealous rage. His knuckles turning white with his fists Sam breathed in and out to try and calm himself with little luck.
Turning to Streak and eyeing his teammate and his friend Sam said, ”You think you can handle things if I get Alex back upstairs and into a room?” he nodded his head over to Jewel and then pointed to the three others at the front counter but he was in fact referring to Abram. Quickly turning his head in Jewel’s direction Sam continued to speak, ”Thank you, for keeping an eye on her…” with that said he headed towards the three at the front desk his fist relaxing into open hands, the only thing showing how upset he was about the situation was is fingers twitching back threatening to revert back into fists.
”Sorry about the wife, Mr. Abram we had a little argument it seems it is still unresolved…” brushing past Kaz and placing his hands onto Alex’s hands he quickly forced her into a fireman carry her waist on his shoulder while his hands had held her firmly in place. Sure it wasn’t the best way to handle the situation but he was tired and things needed to be resolved, and he was a man of action. Making sure she wasn’t going anywhere he turned to face Kaz and Abram after placing on a convincing (fake) smile, ”Sorry about this Mr. Abram and thanks for the call, it seems my wife is going to need a firm spanking!”
Again knowing that this was not the time or place for that kind of talk Sam gave the front desk clerk a smug grin (fake) then a wink before turning towards the elevator. They were after all husband and wife, and jokes like that wee appropriate for husband and wife right? He had never officially been married before but he was familiar with acting the part, and from his past experiences it was best to keep fighting down to a minimum.

Kaz. The squeeze on Lily’s shoulder didn’t go unnoticed. Streak’s eyes narrowed for only a brief moment. What did he think he was doing? Didn’t he know that Streak and Jewel were…? What were they exactly anyways? They weren’t officially a couple. They hadn’t even discussed their kiss that followed their little jaunt on the night of the town and spending the night in the infirmary. Was it good for him to feel like this? Or was it wrong? No, no. it was a good thing. At the current time it seemed like it was definitely a double edged sword. It was good that he felt this way towards her. It told him that he did indeed have feeling towards Lily. At the current moment in this situation is was probably not a good thing that he felt this way around her. Since they were on the same team he would be forced to put her in harms way.
Streak would have a constant worry that one or both of them might end up in the camps. This time things were going to be different. This time he was going to make sure that he controlled the outcome of the situation. Sam’s comment brought him back to the current problem in front of them. Streak nodded as he focused back on Lily. Kaz, Alex, and Sam seemed to be busy dealing with the situation at the desk. That left Shawn and Lily by themselves for the moment. Streak walked up to Lily and scooped her up in both his arms. She was light and he really doubted that she would be able to walk under her own power. He had no quarrel with carrying her and he seriously doubted that she would object too much. After he’d picked up Jewel, he turned around to see Sam carrying Alex off in a rather unceremonious way.
Streak whispered to Lily, “I don’t think we’ll have any trouble hearing what they’re arguing about later.” If the situation was a little less volatile he would have laughed at the way Alex was carried off. Kaz and he may not have ever met before but he did remember seeing his name on the list of applicants for X-Man trainees recently. It was nice to put a face to the name. Although at the moment it didn’t seem like such a nice thing. It seemed like he was trying to get them both back to his room, no matter what the team leaders wanted for their drunken team mates. When Sam left with Alex, Streak walked up to Kaz carrying Jewel in his arms. He set Lily’s feet down on the ground and held out his right hand for Kaz to shake. “Thanks for coming down here. I’m gonna take Lily back to her room after I talk to the receptionist.” His left didn’t leave Lily’s side because he didn’t want her to fall over while he was standing right next to her. Not knowing exactly how drunk she was didn’t help much either, if she was still able to walk that was good but he wasn’t going to give her a chance to argue with him carrying her. Although he did have to admit that he didn’t think she would have argued even if she wasn’t drunk.
The silvermancer then turned to the front attendant, who still looked scared of what might happen to him, and spoke, “Sorry about that. Some people really shouldn’t drink when they’re upset ya know?” He didn’t really find this particular situation funny; however, he did think that some humor might make this guy more able to forget what had happened. Streak reached into his pocket and took out about a thousand dollars, and placed it on the receptionist’s desk. “Here’s a little something for the troubles tonight. I trust that we can keep what happened between us?” Streak said looking at him straight in the eyes. His silver eyes gleamed in the lighting above the lobby counter as he said this. Mr. Abram was astounded at the amount of money that was laid before him, just for him. His mouth even hung open a bit before he regained his composure and quietly took the money and placed it in his pocket saying, “Of…Of course, sir. There was nothing that happened tonight. You and your lady friend have a nice remainder of the evening.” Shawn smiled at Mr. Abrams and then picked Jewel back up and said to her, “Alright. I think you’ve had enough excitement and booze for the night. Time to get you to bed.” Streak then headed to the elevator. There would be some discussion before either of them went to sleep tonight.
Abram was still trembling while her grip tightened more and more on the man’s clothes. The molecule manipulator continued to glare at him, now upset that instead of actually saying something he was babbling some nonsense. His hand moved down. Even with alcohol clouding her mind Alexandra knew that he was reaching for the panic button. Oh really? And she was just about to convince Mr. Abram that this wasn’t his best choice when…
"Mr.Abrams!"
Reluctantly, she turned her head slightly to the side, eyeing Kaz as he leaned his elbow on the counter while requesting three bottles of Champaign. Which actually reminded her… What the hell was wrong with this hotel’s services?! Her Champaign should have been here already! The little worm she had in her grasp tried to move slightly as Kaz started to talk. Blue eyes snapped back to the man for a second while her hands pulled him even closer. Then, she innocently turned toward Kaz.
By the time he was finished, she was looking at Kaz with a bit of a disappointed look in her eyes. “Kazzel.” She called, and despite the fact that she was holding a man by his shirt, pulling him across the desk, Alexandra spoke calmly. “I’m drunk, not dumb.” She explained in a matter-of-factly tone, sighing slightly after she did. “I know what you’re trying to do but… please, stay out of this.”
With gritted teeth, Alexandra turned back to Abram. “Now. Where were we?” She asked, tilting her head to the side slightly pretending to be thinking. “Oh yes. If I catch you moving your hand again I’ll CHOP YOUR FINGERS OFF!” And, besides the raised voice, she jerked Mr. Abram a few times to make sure he was understanding. “Are you hea—”
The hell?!
Two hands appeared out of nowhere, grabbing her hands and releasing her prisoner. NO! I have yet to punish the son of a bitch! Alexandra cried mentally, while wondering who was daring to commit such a thing as interfering with her actions. Oh, but as soon as Sam had started speaking, she recognized him. “LET ME GO, you savage beast!” Alexandra cried in disagreement... And in response, she was swiped off her feet and thrown over the shoulder like a sack of cement.
Whoa, dizzy, dizzy.
Her vision was blurred. Alexandra blinked repeatedly, trying to register the situation and gain back her vision. When she did, she was starring at a butt.
”Sorry about this Mr. Abram and thanks for the call, it seems my wife is going to need a firm spanking!”
Gasp. Her face burned with indignation! Oh, she will show him spanking. “Let me down, Tarzan!” And kick, kick, kick! With hands turned into fists, she started to hit Sam’s back and kick her legs into the air.
The butt moved, she noticed. Heading for the elevator. NO! Abram was escaping! “Abram! Don’t be too happy! I will get you one day! I will have my revenge!” she called, shaking her fist at the receptionist who was still starring in awe at the scene unfolding in front of his eyes.
With her threat being delivered, Alexandra turned her head to the side, seeing a Lily being scooped up by Streak. The horror! Lily was supposed to be her savior! “LILYYYYYY!” She cried, while she began to kick Sam again. “Save me from the caveman!” As the last word got out of her mouth, the Sam-mobile was already reaching the elevator.
Doors closed in front of her eyes, as she looked defeated at the distorted reflection in the door.
She was doomed.
And yet, she didn’t stop kicking. “My Champaign! It is lost!” For a true warrior never stops fighting!

Meanwhile, back at the reception.
Mr. Abram patted the money in his pocket while he looked after the two couples leaving the lobby. Dear God, that was quite a night. But a thousand dollars? He blinked, still surprised. Yes, he had been scared as hell but he wouldn’t mind doing this again if that brought him another thousand. After all… the scumbag manager was not generous in his payments. Anyways. Mr. Corydon was still at the reception, and, he was an important client.
Mr. Abram let out a heavy sigh while straightening his suit. “I am sorry you had to witness that, Mr. Corydon.” He apologized while shaking his head, as if in disbelief. “She was such a good client.” He added, while still thinking at the amount of money she had paid to find out the room number of her husband. Then, the amount of money she paid to have the room next to his. “There must be serious problems going on between those two. I wonder if they’ll get a divorce…” The receptionist continued to blabber, while he was still looking at Mr. Corydon.
"Come to my room I can help with the alcohol." Lily blinked at Kaz. What the hell was that supposed to mean? Her brain refused to decipher the possible meanings of the offer. The heck was Shiny Shiny Kaz playin' at anyway. Lily wrinkled her nose. She didn't need help with the alcohol. The alcohol was just fine as it was. She was getting... nah, not sober, just less cheerfully drunk... by the minute. She tilted her head to see what was going on with Alex at the counter; her brain vaguely registered that her case was handed over to Shawn. Hm. Coulda been worse. She let out a surprised yelp as Shawn scooped her up, and clung to him for balance. Sudden change in position made her dizzy. Also... "LILYYYYYY! Save me from the caveman!" Uh-oh. Alex had been carried away. Quite literally. And savagely. But why all the screaming and kicking?... Standing on her own feet again, she let Shawn support her. She might have been able to stand and walk alone... but she didn't feel like it, and besides, it was nice to be taken care of. When Shawn picked her up again, she snuggled close to him with a sigh - at least she didn't have to watch Alex anymore - and waved to Kaz. "Good night, Kaz, sweet dreams" she muttered. “Alright. I think you’ve had enough excitement and booze for the night. Time to get you to bed.” "I couldn't agree more" she sighed, resting her head on his shoulder as the elevator door closed behind them. It was cozy, being carried like this. "Shawn?" she muttered into his neck after a while "Why is everrrryone under the impression that we are... um... together?... Besides, you know... you carrying me to my room right now." she chuckled softly. Oh Lily girl you're soooo gonna hate yourself in the morning.

Alex didn't seem too keen on Kaz trying to help her, and despite her words of being drunk but not dumb, she wasn't doing the smartest thing. Kaz had to force the smile and laughter from coming up to the surface, instead he tilted his head and gave an 'I understand' gesture. He didn't move away, though his body language said he would back off. Of course Kaz didn't miss anything Sam or Streak said, nor that Sam was making his to Alex and himself.
Kaz raised his hand slightly with is finger pointing into the air in an attempt to get Alex's attention, "Ah, Sam's comin...." 'Nevermind.' He finished in his head as Sam unceremoniously picked her up in a fireman's carry. Kaz closed his eyes in a worthless attempt to internally turn down Alex's volume as she hit, kicked and yelled at Sam, or called to Lily. For a moment Kaz was confused as to who Lily was but as he followed Alex's gaze, 'Two and two is four', Jewel was Lily. He was mildly surprised with himself that he hadn't bothered to ask or find out her actual name.
Lily it seemed was in no position to help Alex though not because she was being confined and man-handled like Alex, but because she she seemed to relax and melt into Streak's arms. She somehow managed a wave and parting words for Kaz, to which he smiled and nodded slightly. Sure he had carried Alex back into the hotel and up to her room, sure she had been relaxed, but there was a difference between being comfortably held/carried and melting into someone's arms. That closeness and what it stems from could be quite intimate/close/trusting relationship, or any combination of the three or all of them at once.
Kaz's mind wandered to his past, to those he cared about, to Judy and Nicki. Some things fade from memory over time, but not how Kaz felt about those two. Not the touch of their skin, the scent of their hair in his face in the morning, how their softest whispers could rouse him from his deepest sleep. Their laughter was music to his ears, eyes he could loose himself in, to fall into and drown in their depths, content all the while. How he could even now, remember what it felt like to have their warmth next to him as he held them in his arms. What he wouldn't give to have that back, even for a short time. Those moments, those beautiful, blissful moments, were the only times Kaz could remember feeling content, feeling as if he had everything he would ever need in life.
Kaz's mind had begun to wander Sam walked off with Alex, so he barely noticed Streak hand Abrams a fair deal of cash, even though it didn't register with him just then. When his mind finally came back to him, the X's were out of site and Abrams was looking at him. For a moment he wasn't sure how long Abrams had been watching him, but it passed quickly when he realized Abrams had just seemed to remember he was at the counter still. The man covered his slack quickly and professionally, as he spoke.
"Don't worry about it Abrams, it happens. I suppose that is why we pay the big bucks to be here." He commented as he gestured towards the man's pocket. Abrams seemed to smile a bit sheepishly at that, though he continues to voice his thoughts openly. “There must be serious problems going on between those two. I wonder if they’ll get a divorce…”
Kaz looked at him, then towards the elevators. For a time silence reigned. Abrams words rolled around in Kaz's mind, he must have been giving some indication of this as Abrams didn't say anything or interrupt him. When his mind settled it's thoughts, "That would be such a terrible shame wouldn't it." The words would have been convincing if it hadn't been for Kaz's wolfish smile and tone.
