The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Juka happily followed Jewel up to her room and put on the clothes she offered him. They weren't quite up to his usual standard of fabulouslness but they fit well and they did have a certain amount of practicality that most of his wardrobe lacked. Besides, if he had to accept clothes from someone other than himself then he knew that Jewel was the only one he could possible accept from. She did, after all, have impeccable taste.
As soon as he was dressed, and with only a slight frown at his present lack of grandeur, though he quickly expelled it from his mind knowing the grand time he was about to have, Juka skipped down the stairs to meet the others. "I have returned to you all," he announced grandly, doing a flip from several stairs up and landing gracefully on his feet. He couldn't ever have a simple entrance, after all.
Well, that could have been worse, Jewel thought as she looked at Juka; she knew the clothes would fit to begin with, but she wasn't quite that sure about the boy's willingness to wear them. Fortunately he seemed to take more interest in the competition Shin planned than the outfit that it required. That was a first (in a long time). Jewel put on her sneakers and followed Juka, chuckling to herself; she was starting to suspect that her new old friend tended to get two kinds of reaction from people: he either made them very annoyed, or very amused. Fortunately for her (and him), in Jewel's case it was the latter. She watched Juka announce himself with a smile, and joined the others. "We're ready, sorry for making you wait. Let's go."

"Only a month or so, Shin, i met Kausmi shortly after arriving, my powers went out of control and i accidently tossed hot coffeee on a large man who disliked Mutants, she found me as a ran away from the building and hid" she said not her best situation certainly not one highlighting her bravery but it was true. The man also seemed to grow bigger each time she thought of him, like some kind of demon.
Juka came down looking normal, given he was wearing clearly female clothing but he looked better in Shana's eyes then he had previously. Jewel looked cute with what she had chosen and her eyes lingerd for just a secound or two longer then they had on juka. "Yes we can go at anytime" she agreed quite happy to see this get started and hoping it would be somthing enjoyable and that her powers would react right, they did somtimes decide to have amind of their own, which could prove very annoying to her.
"it's all right we really have not been here that long" she said honetly and with a freindly smile. She wonderd what Shin had in mind for this. She hoped it was not tossing things, she was good close up but her distence could leave somthing to be desired if she ahd to mentally let go early.

Shin nodded in understanding as Shana explained. She'd met Kasumi when her powers had gone out of control. She'd ran, and Kasumi had followed. He smiled inwardly at the thought. Kasumi had always been good at looking out for her friends. "I see. Well, I'm glad you found the mansion. It's a big scary world out there, and it's always good to have friends."
With a thump, Juka arrived. Had he... just flipped down a flight of stairs to get there? That was new. Shin smirked. "You know, I've never seen someone do that entrance before, Juka. Good job breaking new ground~" Shin held his chin. "Though, I'd have probably tossed in a hand stand and some more flippy flips!" Wink wink.
He turned to the others. Everyone seemed good to go. He puffed out his chest and stomped down the hall.
"Alright, everyone. Follow me!"

"And here it is," Shin stated. He unlocked the doors to the danger room and stepped into the room. "Computer, lights!" Lights snapped on. Shin walked over to a wall panel and stood there. "So, anyone have any ideas about tests? I've got some, but I wanna hear your ideas first."
Juka was trying his very best not to jump from foot to foot in eager anticipating of the games to come. He loved nothing more than to show off his powers and the fact that they were making a competition out of it would make things all the better. He had not idea what this danger room was, but it didn't really matter to him. All that mattered was he'd be able to show why his bubbles were amazing and fabulous just as he himself was.
Juka blinked confusedly at Shin then caught the wink and broke out into a grin, winking back. "Oh darling, I wouldn't want to make these beauties," he gestured at Jewel and Shana, "too jealous now would I?"
Juka began humming softly to himself as he followed Shin down the stairs and towards their destination, his voice high and clear. "Ooh, an obstacle course!" He paused for a moment, considering, then realized that he was pretty sure he was the only one who could float so maybe that wouldn't be the best idea. "Or maybe target practice?" Not the best use of his power but something that the others could probably participate in as well and what was the fun of a game if he was the only one playing? "Or whatever else you have in mind." His excitement was obvious.
Jewel rolled her eyes at Shin and all the winking. "Don't encourage him, Shin. You don't know what he's capable of." she smirked as they started walking. The trip down to the danger room reminded her of her first days in the Mansion; she'd never felt so lost in her life before. Fortunately this time they had Shin to lead the way. Walking into said room, she turned all the way around and stared with a smile of amazement, her lips forming a silent 'wow'. This looked much more intriguing than she expected. She chuckled as she turned back to the others; Juka's enthusiasm was rubbing off on her. "Let's start with something easy... for the ladies' sake" she added with a wink "We can all levitate things, right? Shin, why don't you fins us something to do with that?"

She looked around curiously, she was here and so she pushed her nervousness aside, SHe was in this now, had even agreed to it, not to mention she had left her own country to do this very thing. The danger room itself was a good size. Traget practice and leviatating things were both good ideas, she was unsure what else they could really do with their powers. At the very least it had to be somwhat less dangerous then flying wagons.
"Those both sound like good ideas, levitation is what i have the most practice with. We could also practice control somhow, maybe not hitting a target but guideing an object through small openings" she said thinking it could work. She was not much good with distence but she could leviate many small objects. For the first time Shana wishes she had used her powers for more then brushing her hair and doing her make up. She did but nothing quite like this, her powers had always been sucha secoundary concearn after all.

"Obstacles, or target practice" Shin repeated ideas as they came along. He held his chin, thoughtfully pondering each and every one. Juka seemed excited, and Jewel... wanted to start out easy. "Easily noted," He smiled. "Maybe merging target practice with a ring toss? And that'd work control too," He looked Shana's way, and gave her a nod of consideration. "We could start out easy, and work our way up to more difficult tasks. I think I can carry around a little metal ring with my shards..."
He turned towards the panel and punched a few buttons in. "Easy difficulty, a few pegs in the ground, give us some silver rings for this..." He paused as the computer disagreed with him on something. The words 'No Good' flashed by. Shin's cheeks flushed as he turned back to the group. "It seems the computer can't produce the basic silver we need for this... anyone have any ideas?"
Juka contemplated exactly how he could come up with silver rings. Did they have to be silver? Maybe he could...He made a sort of yipping noise and jumped up and down excitedly, then forced himself to remain calm. A broad smile appeared on his face and he rolled up his sleeves, displaying a number of silver and copper bracelets lining his wrists. It hadn't even occurred to him that jewelery was probably just as impractical as the rest of his usual clothing in such situations.
Removing the bracelets one by one from his wrists, more than enough for each of them to have 1, he lifted them up proudly. "Will these do?" They weren't perfectly round and maybe lacking a little if they were to be thrown but he thought they would be perfect. And he, Juka, had come up with the idea so obviously it must be good.
Jewel nodded at Shin's idea - starting out easy seemed to be the best way for practicing their powers... at least at the begining they would all have some experience of success before getting into the more difficult tasks. When Shin asked about the rings, she opened her mouth to answer, but Juka yipped in instantly; she watched with a curious smirk as he produced the set of bracelets. "I knew we could count on you, sugah" she winked at her newly found best friend. Before he could hand them over to Shin, her powers lifted them into the air; ther twirled around once or twice, obtaining a perfect circular shape. Jewel's own bracelet sneaked off her arms and joined the four rings to make them a little bit wider an a little bit thicker. "How about this?" she smiled at the others, moving a ring towards each one of them. Excitement painted her cheeks a light shade of pink. Playing was fun, after all.

The machine could not make silver, for some reason that struck Shana as odd, not that she ahd ever encounterd somthing like this before. Then Juka quickly solved the issue with his bracelets and then she watched Meld alter them just enough to have the shape they needed for the task. "They look great jewel" Shana said with a smile. She would make the best of this, she was already in for it and it was why she came. She kept reminding herself of that, she had to out of habit.
It was good both Juka and Jewel had come, after all it gave them what they needed to move on. The room itself was intresting. "And thank you Juka, we could have not done it without ya" she said not entirely beleiving that, but he had contrinuted to their need so Shana felt it was eight to try and praise him as well. "So who wnats to start?" she asked curiously looking at the others to see which of them would step forward, likely Juka she thought had a very strong personality after all.

Ah! Jewelry from Juka. That was exactly what Shin had been hoping for. So much easier than dragging themselves back off to rooms to scour closets and drawers for any pertinent fashionable wares... although Shin had suspected Jewel would be the one to have the jewelry, not Juka. And he'd been planning to wear that the entire time they went into the danger room? Juka certainly held the world's best sense of impractical practicality.
Jewel decided to display her powers then and there, lifting the bracelets up and out of Juka's hands. She added her own to the mix, passing a bracelet to each of the four. Shin nodded succinctly. "That'll be just perfect you two. Thanks. Computer. Target practice mode. Simulation, start."
Affirmative. The screen flashed.
Across the floor of the room, a series of blue spikes shot up, each with a different point value. The smaller ones were each worth 15, the larger ones 10, and the smallest ones 5. From an overhead view, one could make out the suggested image of a Blastoise.
"Bigger are worth less. Smaller are worth more. Pretty basic, really. We'll start slow. Aim for the spikes nearest you. First person to 50 wins. Turn order is Juka, Jewel, Shana, then me. Let's start!"
