The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Beautiful night, shining stars, no moon, perfect time for a walk in the park, or a bank heist. In front of David stood the large mansion of money, the gates of gold, the... carriage of currency? Whatever they can't all be perfect. The building was truly daunting. The sight of the imposing building started to give David second thoughts, but those were washed away when he remembered his cohorts. They probably wouldn't be very happy if he dropped out, and considering who they were that would be dangerous.
"No problem" He said to himself, taking a few breathes. He walked calmly around to the side of the building, trying to act as normal and inconspicuous as possible. He looked up at the side of the building, and back to the closest buildings, it all looked like the photos, not like he expected an different. His nerves were working on him, second guessing everything to this point, he was alone for now, and his mind went to the accomplices he would be working with. They already knew each other... bad thoughts went through his head, what if they tried to get rid of David once the job was done, keep the money for themselves. He had seen it done enough in movies... no no no. He pushed the thoughts out of his head, it was just paranoia. "Cmon." he said mentally rushing the two.

Meld arrived at the target of their heist, taking a long look at the building itself. She might have even called in imposing, considering what they were about to do, if she was prone to those sorts of thoughts. As it was however, she looked at it as a challenge, a challenge with some very lucrative rewards for herself when they succeeded. And there was no room to consider the possibility of not succeeding. She knew if they failed it wouldn't be her or Aura's fault, it would be the one who planned it all, the unknown in all of this: David. But so far he had proven himself to be capable so she wasn't about to let such worries get to her. If it came down to it,s he would deal with the problem, but until that point she had a job to do and she would do it to the best of her abilities.
Meld spotted David and nodded to him in greeting, mildly surprised that he had made it her before she had. That was a rarity considering her propensity for arriving early for everything. "You're prepared?" she asked. It was, perhaps, a redundant question but she had to be sure.
As she waited for the answer, Meld crouched down on one knee and went into her backpack, taking out her supplies, in this case a climbing pick to be held in her right hand. Hopefully, if all went well this night, it would be the last time she would have to rely on such a device. If all went well she would have the money to construct herself a new arm and all four limbs would be perfect for climbing up walls, or at least some walls. But until that time she was forced to use the tool.
Aura moved torward the bak, keeping primarrily to the shadow as to prevent being seen. Though it was true she had never been convicted of anything, she had also openly murderd several times in incidents whare their was either eye witnesses or whare she had actually fought cops. Needless to say it would not be good to be arested before she even got to the heist. Letting a patrol car pass, Aura crossed a few more alleyways until she saw the others on the side of the bulding and made her way to them, it seemed she was the last to arrive.
She hoped things went well, her main worry was with David, she was not sure of the full extent of his power. SHe kept her own power in check as she stopped by the other two, leaning against the wall of the building as she did, it kept he rmostly obbscred from passing cars which was a good thing. She noted the climbing pick, she knew what it was though she had not seen one very often and was glad this time, she was not being fied upon but guns. "Nice night" she commented with a smile.
Davids beleifs still held strange to her but she was also not here to care about his motavations. The point wa she wa sleading this job and that was that. Aura could not help but activate her Aura around just a finger and scraped a few flaked of brick from the ouside of the building, nohting that would not have fell off soon anyway. 'We ready then?" she asked assuming they were, they were already here after all.
A couple minutes passed, and David closed his eyes, his mind started to wander away from task at hand. Went back home where things seemed quieter and calmer. It didn't last long though, as his mind was thrown back to the task at hand by the arrival of one of his accomplices. His body jumped a bit from the slumber "Yeah." He said clearing his throat. "I'm all ready."
David reached into his duffel bag pulled out a custom looking grappling hook and rope. He saw her own method of scaling the wall, and was a little surprised by it. He knew the tool was used for climbers around the world, but he had never seen it used to climb a man made object. Hey whatever worked. He was about to start up some small talk, something to pass the time, when Aura appeared, "Yeah, it's great." He said looking up at the sky.
He watched as Aura scraped away a bit of the wall, noting the power in his head. Being told about it over the phone and seeing it were two different things, he imagined what else she could, but then concentrated at the next obstacle they faced. "Looks like it, okay we all use our own way up, regroup on the roof." He said walking towards the neighboring building. "Meet you there." He said jumping up and grabbing the fire escape.

Meld nodded towards Aura in greeting as she showed up to begin the task at hand. She never spoke much during missions and this was no exception. Anything that she did speak would pertain to the mission and the mission alone. Once they had succeeded and successfully escaped with their prize there would be time for talking. But until that time they needed to concentrate and pointless words only got in the way.
Meld watched as Aura tested the wall and then went up to test it herself. It was brick, as she knew it would be, allowing for plenty of handholds and footholds. Her hand and feet were primarily designed for combat in mind, but one of the other side effects of the design was the allowance of climbing vertical surfaces with relative ease, walls in particular. Of course she couldn't climb all walls, only those either made of brick or some other substance that allowed for many handholds, or those made of softer materials such as wood that would allow her to dig her claws into the sides. Wood was easiest but she was confident that this would do.
Meld nodded her understanding to David as she lifted her foot to the first foothold. The climb wasn't exactly easy, especially with the clumsy pick she was forced to use in her right hand, but step by step she managed to make it to the top of the building. She paused a moment to catch her breath and await the arrival of the other two. Step one of their plan, it seemed, was down without a hitch. Now if only the remaining steps would go as smooth.
Aura nodded back to Meld who certainly seemed serious, which was good in somthing like this.Aura was sure the brick had been quite solid at one point, but neglect had weakened it. Aura watched as the other two scaled the buildings, she had not thought to bring climbing gear of any sort, nor did she possess any. Still she had come with a plan, somthing she thought she could do but had never tried before, at least not in brick. Aura let her aura flow out and closed her eyes in concentration, lettings her fingers roam the wall for a few moments.
Fluidly two pink blades formed in her hand, each thin Aura thrust her hand into the wall, The Aura blade cutting into the weaker morter inbetween the bricks, jumping up she felt the blade hold as the weight of the building itself kept the blade in place, with Aura weight, landing, she jumed again this time the secound blade ripped into it. Gritting her teeth, she slipped the first blade out, and immedialy felt the strain of her weight fully shift to one shoulder before she could, reinsert the blade a littile higher, gradually Aura made the top of the building. As She stood on the roof of the building, her shoulders were burning a bit from the use, she was glad the tactic had worked, but knew full well, it was to slow to use in sort of combat. Running her fingers one her left shoulder she looked around the roof, for anyone uninvited, happy when she saw no one else thare that should not have been.
Putting her hand down at her Side, she thought about what she had just done, and knew when this was over she had to practice it. It could help her surprise enamies inb case some day she was needed to guard somthing. Locateing the door they were to use easily she walked over to it, looking back to Meld unsure if she wnated to start things off or if she should cut the lock, it was metal whatever it was made of.
David pulled himself up the neighboring fire escape, climbing to the point that he could see the roof of the bank. Once that was finished he pulled out his hook and carefully took aim, he had to hook into something that could sustain his wait, and he found it in what he assumed was part of the air conditioning unit. One good throw and he was wrapped around, pulling tight it felt like it would hold. Already he could see Aura making her way up pretty fast, and David didn't want to hold the two up.
He kept the line as tight as he could and tied the other end to the fire escape. After a few deep breathes, and a caution look over the edge. He grabbed the rope and hung over the ledge, shimmying across the alleyway. After a few nervous moment he made it to the other side and gave the girls a confident nod. "And now the door." He told the mas he walked by. He assumed this would be easy, just block out the alarm until the two neutralized the source, no problem. He sat down ten feet from the door and closed his eyes. "Ok, just give me a few seconds to get ready, then break through the door, once inside move towards the alarm and shut it off, I will catch up" He said. He immediately prepared himself and sstarted monitoring for the alarm, oblivious to everything else.

Meld watched with a small amount of relief as both David and Aura made it to the roof with her. It was a fortuitous beginning and it allowed her a few moments to catch her breath while she waited. She looked down towards the ground, knowing that she was the only one who would be able to see clearly in this light but saw no obvious threats. If there was anyone down there they had to have been very good at keeping hidden. She had a brief thought of Flynn, who she had had an encounter with recently, who could turn invisible and hoped no invisible mutants saw them. But there was no use searching for trouble that wasn't there.
Meld waited the few seconds that David requested before turning to the lock. It was clearly metal but she was fairly certain she could break through it. She struck it with the blades of her metal hand but was disseminated when it didn't break on the first hit. It required two more strikes before the lock fell to pieces and she cringed at the noise each strike made but she knew there was nothing that could have been done to prevent it. She opened the door, gesturing for the other two to enter.
Aura waited until david was in place and then Meld opened the door for them. moving quickly as she did, Aura had comitted the map to memory. Rubbing her Shoulder as she made her way down the hall, she knew the alarm was close. Looking around she saw no guards as she moved on to her destonation, quitely. Aura knew well how to move without noise, as she ha dbeen tought to do so in the woods. Turning down a secound hallway, she found what she was looking for and smiled softly to herself. This was going acording to plan and for that she was glad, she figured getting cought would not help matter very much.
Finding the Alarm Aura formed an Aura blade around just her middile and index fingers and jammed them into the middile of the system, the wires cut easily as the blade ripped right through them, the display unit had been kept in tact, but the systems intercom for that room wa snow broken. She was curious why a room like this was relatively unguarded. Wasteing no time she quickly turned back to the main corridor to meet with the others who were close by anyway. Aura eyes looked around in case anyone tried to sneak up on her wondering if the guards were not sleeping on the job, it was common from what she knew.
It felt like he was waiting forever, though he knew only moments had passed. Finally the alarm started, and immediately David jumped to his task, it was surprisingly difficult, like a loud buzzing noise going off in his head. He was hanging on though, keeping the alarm in check, and all of a sudden the sensation instantly went away, they must have done it.
David brought himself back to the real world and hopped back to his feet, indeed the door was wide open, so the two must be waiting for him. He started silently jogging down the steps and into the building, trying to be as sneaky as he could. If the two had been caught the activity here would be much higher, but that didn't mean it was clear. He spotted Aura down the corridor and walked over to meet her "Good going, next up we work our way down stair."

Meld followed close behind Aura as the two made their way down the hall, trying to her best to remain silent. It was something of an effort to tread lightly in order to prevent her metal feet from making a noise on the hard floor, but she managed to keep it to a minimum nevertheless. It was a sort of handicap that she had been working with for some time and she had developed techniques for coping with it. She wouldn't be able to move quickly and maintain her silence, but if she was careful conscious of every step she could do so.
As Aura disabled the security system, Meld stood at the end of the corridor watching for any threats. The lack of guards thus far was making her feel somewhat uneasy. She had hoped for a smooth run, but something didn't quite feel right. It shouldn't be this smooth.
With the alarm disabled Meld began silently making her way towards the stairs, scanning for guards and other dangers with every step. Finally, as they approached the stairs, she spotted one though the guard didn't appear to be aware that anything was amiss, strange since the alarm had gone off, if only for a few moments. But then, David was supposed to have dealt with that. She pointed him out and then began approaching, staying as quiet as she was able. Once she was within a few feet of him she ran and wrapped her arms around his head and neck, cutting off the oxygen to his brain, knocking him out cold in about 30 seconds. No casualties but he would be unconscious for a while, hopefully long enough for them to get in and out without calling on any of his friends.
Aura gave a nod to David as they moved quickly down the stairs, Aura smiled as Meld immdeiately proved she was able to disable without killing, not that Aura needed any asurence or even cared if the person lived, but David did. Aura ahd littile trouble with her own Silence as she looked around she spotted a secound guard and moved in behind him. Aura made a mistep and the Guard turned around hearing the slight noise, but even as she did, an Aura hammer had already struck the side of his head, the strike was not fatel but the guard would not be getting up for awhile and his head would likely hurt for days.
Things seemed to be going very well so far, as she helped to make sure they were clear as far as guards went. Looking back to Meld she spoke. "We should hide the bodies, in case their freinds come by" she said thinking the last thing they needed was to do well the entire mission only to be captured becuse a janiter found a guard they had knocked out. Then again who cleaned at this hour, shrugging her still sore shoulders she began to drag the guard she knocked out back behind the stair well, figuring the out of sight area would do the trick for them. Aura wonderd just how many guards they had in the place at this hour, could these have been the only to.
David crouched quietly and watched as Meld took out the first guard, nice and easy. A smile spread across David's face, maybe this would work without a problem, maybe they would be able to easily slip in and out. The smile was replaced by a look of concern as he turned and witnessed Aura engage a guard, she was able to take him down silently, though it did look painful. "Good one" He said looking at the unconscious guard.
He walked over to the stairwell and took a peek down to the bottom. "Next up is the main lobby." He said turning back to the group. Aura had a good idea, hide the bodies just in case. He jogged over to the guy Meld knocked out, grabbed his arm, and started dragging him. "After that we can move to the vault, but be careful their will probably be guards at the lobby, and the vault entrance will have security cameras."

Meld followed Aura's advice and example, grabbing one of the arms of her unconscious guard and helping David to drag him into a corner, out of sight of both other guards and potential security cameras. She was impressed by Aura's level of capability and the versatility of her aura. She made a silent nod of appreciation in the other woman's direction.
Meld followed silently into the lobby, remaining vigilant of potential guards. The prospect of cameras was of some concern. Guards were fairly simple to take out, but cameras were often hidden on the ceiling and neither she nor Aura had any capability to effect things at a distance. Meld stopped just outside the lobby, spotting at least two guards patrolling it. She gestured for silence and pointed them out to Aura, gesturing that they should try and take them out in tandem. She waited patiently for the guards' patrol pattern to allow her to enter the lobby unseen and the proceeded to creep forward, getting as close t one of the guards as possible. Just as she was about to knock him unconscious he spotted her, allowing him time to yell and alerting the other guard, before being struck over the head with a metal fist. Meld hoped that Aura had understand her message and was taking care of the other guard. She didn't do well with bullets and she didn't have any interest in dealing with more guards than was absolutely necessary.
Aura said nothin to, Davids comment as she kept mocing until they spotted a pair of guards. Aura cought Meld's signal and nodded back. She moved quitely keeping her hammer formed, she swung hard at the Guard, who hearing his freind's scream decided to turn, as he did the hammer struck him right in the nose, staggering back he started a call of his own, but Aura prevented more from getting out with a secound swing to his exposed neck, as he fell the gun, clatterd across the floor, which Aura picked up and put into the small pack she had on her wasit.
Aura smiled as she looked at her target, the bones would have done well for some type of furnature, still she knew she had to pass it up. She liked to avoid gun fire as well, as in her own tests she could not hit the broad side of a barn. Still it meant if worse came to worse she could use it, it meant she now had two. Noting the differing color she wonderd if it was adiffrent type of gun. Looking back to David then down at the bleeding guard she shrugged. 'His nose is broken but he will live' she said simply. "ARe the camera's still working?" she asked david as she pointed one out on the wall that was panning the hallway just before them. He had disabled the alarm so she though maybe he had done them to. "If they are not, perhapse one of us should pay security a small visit" she suggested, even as she moved forward a bit.
