The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Finally ‘home’ Ire looked off into the pond that had become all too familiar. Many thoughts plagued his mind and the time had come to dive into each one. For the most part Ire had the darkness in check but sometimes he just didn’t know if it would erupt through ripping apart every fiber of his being. He just hoped that it would not turn Orion against him. Ire had no desire to hurt his friend and if it came down to it and the darkness could not be sustained many would die. Part of him still wondered what it would feel like to let loose, to not have a care for these insufficient bipeds. Back, many years ago, during the two days of darkness it had felt so good to rip the innocent limb from limb. Ire reminded himself that he had been a tool then and pushed the thought from his head.
Taking its place was the memory of when Orion had suggested that Ire needed a girl. This was an odd concept indeed for the loner. A women would just stand as a liability nothing more. Though Ire could see what Orion had with Tricity and it made him wonder a bit. It may be nice to have a female companion to have hold him. “Still a liability,” he reminded himself.
Chaos was the next thought. Ire wondered if he would remain good. He knew all too well how old habits die hard. If Chaos were to take up his evil ways again Ire didn’t believe that he would try to stop him. There was something he sensed in Chaos that wouldn’t let him do it, he reasoned that he would let Orion do the fighting. Overall though Ire was curious to see Chaos at his full potential.
The last thing that really swirled around in his head was finding other mutants. Ire wanted nothing more then to meet other mutants to test their mutations. Perhaps he would meet some soon. If not, training alone or in that Danger Room where his only choices. Unless of course he went out stalking victims at night, but he was trying to fight that urge. However when the sun goes down the darkness inside grows that much more…

Ire felt two fairly strong energies out in the distance, one was Orion's but the other was unknown. Ire assumed the other was Tricity. The powers were deluded in the space between himself and the bearers but they were there nonetheless. Ire tried to suppress his thought just incase Tricity was a telepath, he knew little of her powers. No use in having them know things that he didn't want to share.
Smirking about her last comment they followed the trail and came out close to where Ires pond was. That damn jingling noise was driving Orion mad so badly he hadnt paid attention to Ires energy signature as he neared his friends location.
"Oh, good it drives you nuts too." Orion said with an exaggerated sigh. "Dont worry iitll be off the next tie she isnt looking." he said in a low tone. "Hun Ire doesnt like the collar either, see he needs to be free you know."
*tricity nodded at ire and then stood up to face orion.* what do you mean free? archon is perfectly free! i just think he needs a collar in case something happens...
"Hes the biggest wolf in these parts, hun whats going to happen to him that hasnt already happened?" he smiled at her. waiting and watching for his time to free the poor beast from her wretched grasp.

This is why he didn't want a women he decided. Too much trouble, then again he also decided he wouldn't want a stubborn ogre like Orion. Ire went over and started to pet the wolf.
*she looked from orion, to ire, and back to orion.* oh alright......... *tricity unhooked the loop and took archon's collar off. he shook his neck and panted in her face.* youre so frickin cute...a lot more cute than your daddy! *she said in a baby voice again.*
Smiling he responded with. "Yea, well I was drunk one night and his mother just looked so hot, and well you know how it is." he reasoned as he winked at Ire.
"Yea, mostly but since the other night when the mansion was attacked I dont like going anywwhere without a blade and this one has served me best throughout my life, so Im kinda partial, you know?" He said as she came over and leaned on him. His arm went to its uaual place around her shoulder as he spoke.
