The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Ire woke with a jolt, it was finally dark again. He preferred the night far more then the day. In searching the forest earlier for a place to sleep he had found a secluded pond that seemed very relaxing. As he gathered his thoughts he looked into the now dark pool of water. So much had happened since he arrived in this time, it all seemed so odd. Something stood prominent in his mind however, the death of Grady. It had felt so good to feel his blades slip into the mans supple flesh.
Chaos was quite the enigma, not only to Ire but to Chaos himself. As of now Chaos is simply a shell trying to regain his innards. He also has a feeling of great evil emanating from him, Ire couldn’t decide if he liked that or not. But whatever the case Chaos is a man to be watched closely for whether he knows it or not he possesses great power. The moment at Time Square where Chaos stood with Gorgon he could feel a bound between the two, this was unsettling.
Then there was Tricity, Ire had just met her but knew there was more to her then met the eye. A person with that fiery of a personality must have a soft spot somewhere. Ire figured it must have been Orion who held that soft spot, although you wouldn’t know it if they were in the same room. She too has something unsettling about her. “Perhaps its because I don’t know her,” Ire reasoned. All he really knew was who he was and where he had come from, but even that had been taken away from him.
It was time to find himself he figured, growth was not beyond him. But where was he to start? The humans did not seem overly accommodating here. On the flipside they never did in his time, assassins rarely made good impressions before they slit your throat in your sleep. He knew that he did not belong at this mansion though, he could never call this place a home. Ire didn’t know if he could have the heart to tell Orion that however. Perhaps he needed to find himself before he could come back and see them again. Friends were never Ire’s strong point and he could make it on his own. Or so he thought anyhow.
After his introspection Ire stood and drew the hood of his cloak. He needed to clear his head, back in the old days one thing could help him do this, hunting. With a sneer Ire’s body was covered in shadow and the only thing heard from that moment on in the pond was his decree. “Let the hunt begin.”

Staggering after the long trek Ire feel to his knees by the pond. Since he had come here his thirst for blood had increased. There really was no rhyme or reason for what he had done but it felt so good. No remorse filled his mind as he settled himself on the ground and slept.
As Orion searched the forest grounds he thought of the pond a little deeper in and thought that mmight be where ire had gone. Sure enough he found Ires sleeping body on the ground. Nudging it with his boot to awaken him he noticed the blood on Ires mask. As Ire awoke hesquatted next to him and closly inspected the blood. Hoping it wasnt what he though it was.

Ire struggled to his feet with his friends help. Letting out a sigh he began to tell Orion what had happened, leaving out the part about the two men.
"I went for a walk in Central Park last night and ran into another mutant named Lady Mystic. She did a number on me with her ability to bind me in place but she got what she deserved in the end. I then blacked out in Central Park before making my way here."
"Well we only play Judge, Jury , and Executioner when we absolutivly have to. I dont mind telling you either that I remember tyhe old days when im hunting these pricks. I so do miss the thrill of the killing though. But Im supposed to be settling down now so dont tell the wife, ok?"

Ire watched the ripples in the pond as the rock skipped.
"Hm, I take it they are a problem for us because we are mutants, just like the old days. Orion when I first came to this time I killed two of the uniformed men. I fooled one into shooting his comrade and then I proceeded to finish the other. I didn't know what else to do, one of them confronted me."
Ire felt odd telling him this but at least this time Ire had a reason for killing the men.
"Yea, I wondered if you had gotten into trouble with them. Look Ill tell you one thing. Try not to kill them even if they get in your way, but I do suggest usiong your little uniqueness to get away. Oh! and Dont tell Tricity! That wont get you any brownie points." he mumbled the last part as he bent to pick up a couple more. "Another thing youll have to learn to fight is that blood lust you and I have. It tends to creep up on me sometimes, so I figure you got it pretty bad."
"Try not to do that anymore. I find that hunting animals usually quelchs that lust, but not satisfies it. Preferably predators will make better prey as they are often physically superior. But do not kill people for no reason anymore. This will earn you more and more trouble from everyone including some people who are very powerful." Orion again swung his arm with a stone toward the pond, but this time hard.
