The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Alex paused on the top of the wall. He had gotten the horse-lady to safety and had just been jumping over the wall, when a truck had burst onto the lawn, and a group of people had rushed out. They were obviously on the side of the attackers, and Alex found himself to be curious about how this would turn out.
Alex slowly crept along the wall, till he came to where he had seen some golden gates hanging. They were gone now, but Alex didn't pay attention to that. He focused on a battle between to women not far away. One of the new arrivals was moving to intercept, but was slowed by an ball of electricity from one of the women. He recovered and approached again, straining his ears. He heart began to beat faster, and fear of being found out began to fill him. He really should be leaving. But something held him to the spot.
Groaning, Shade stumbled into view out of the dark shadow of a large oak tree near the now destroyed front gate of the mansion. He had a hand over a cut in his arm on his arm, but the pressure was doing little to slow the bleeding as blood seeped through his fingers. The wounded mutant stumbled into the wall of the mansion, using it to balance against as he took a glimance at his worst wound. Shade glanced back at the any fights taking place on the once beautiful grounds of the mansion. Now, huge craters were common place with large sections burned. In other places, large ice structures were visible. The shadow mutant was glad to see reinforcements had arrived and had helped to turn some fights in the Order's direction.
Continuing his scan of the grounds, Shade's unseen eyes fell upon a woman standing near him. She also appeared to be watching the various battles taking place. A grin came across the shadow mutant's face as he knew this was his next victim. The Order member solidified a black dagger into his hand before silently moving behind the unsuspecting X-men. Hopefully the sounds of battle would distract her enough from his footsteps.

DragonKing was noting the Order members who were present and as between Abyss and GB things on the battle field seemed pretty much taken care of. But he was sure there should be more Order members around and none of them were chicken enough to leave early, hence the only conclusion was that there were some inside the Mansion.
Towards the mansion he went, his armour allowing him infinite mobility, his blades in their sheaths. The ground floor seemed empty. He assumed that the X-men had taken their wounded upstairs as he thought he detected noises upstairs. Suddenly he stopped, was that the sounds of an alarm below him? He started to decend to the floors below….

The battle was intense but he was winning. People seemed to be leaving the fight. The X-Men seemed to be loosing people faster than expected as they'd already lost Raina, and Luke. However, he didn't remember seeing all of the others, even if Emerald had showed up to help Rina get away. They could use her help out here. His opponent seemed distracted quite suddenly and he was able to strike her stomach. She'd obviously not been expecting is as she stumbled backward. This was perhaps the worst move Streak could have made in the entire fight. Apparently this orderling had quite the following seeing as two very large mutants came to her aid.
At least one of them was smart enough to realize that they needed to take care of her instead of fighting the silver man. Didn't they understand that he'd already hurt two of their members and if they didn't stop attacking him they only have more wounded to deal with? Apparently no. The giant man without his shirt didn't seem to have much brains either. The giant brought his hands down fast and all of Streak's attention was focused on him. Streak easily moved out of the way and sliced at the mans hands. He didn't know anything about this guy's powers, strengths or weaknesses, but seeing as how big he was he was quite possibly very slow. Streak was fast, much faster than any speed this giant could muster. "Bane stupid. Save your friend while you still can. If I can get through her what makes you think I can't get through you." He said. The silver man was getting tired and wanted this fight to be over with so that he could check on everyone. After two battles he wasn't looking forward to a third. In fact Streak could use some back up right about no but if none came he would do his best against this new threat.
Did this mean she had lost? So soon? But how? How could such a momentary lapse of attention cause such a big turn of events? She wasn't supposed to lose. Not to an X-Fool. Only twice had she ever flat-out lost. In both those events she had fallen due to mechanics and trickery. But an average battle? She was the perfect weapon. Her body was near indestructible. She could create, repair, and manipulate. And yet she had been cut down by something as simple as the well aimed swing of a sword. It was humiliating. It was infuriating. It just wasn't right. She wanted to see what the boy would do next, wanted to see if his lapse of goodie-goodie attitude would carry over and he would attempt to do more damage. Let him try. He couldn't reach her, not the way she was. Go ahead and try to cut down her bones this time. If he met witch success, she's replace the one broken bone with two new ones. She wanted to rip the boy apart, but she couldn't move. Everything hurt too much. It was as if, in opening up the skin of her stomach, the pain of that wound transferred into all the rest, renewing their aching. Limply, one hand still lay in her lap, the fingers dancing along the poor excuse of a patch job, occasionally inserting another small thread here or there. The wound was still bleeding despite her half-hearted efforts, staining her outfit, her hands and legs, and the ground beneath her. She was in a bad situation, and she knew it. However, her mind still wanted to focus on other things. She wanted to find someone other than herself to blame for this mess. She wanted to know why she'd lost so easily, why this boy hadn't been injured more. Much to her distress, even her thoughts were slowing down, becoming lazy and uncaring. She was starting to lose focus.
Someone yelled. Had it been her name? It sounded like it had, but she couldn't be sure. A sort of rushing sound was slowly rising in her ears, almost as if she could hear the blood draining out of her. She couldn't remember ever having bled this much, having bled so quickly. The ground was shaking. Or was it her head beginning to reel? As it was, the shadows were back, dancing at the edges of her vision, though this time she knew it was not because of the blind mutant she'd fought earlier. No, the ground was definitely shaking. Looking up again, she could make out the figure of Bacchus, a stray though making it through the rest of her muddled mind, a small protest against getting stepped on, should he stumble or lose focus. Only a moment and her gaze was in her lap again, though it was involuntary. She was getting so tired. Her muscles ached all over. Her head was starting to droop, as if her neck no longer felt like holding it up.
Another voice, this one much closer. Focus. She needed to focus on the words. They were directed at her, weren't the harsh taunting from the X-Nerds. Lazily she looked up again to find the source of the voice, her head nearly rolling all the way back before she corrected it. "Pluto?" she voiced, as if not quite understanding the word. She was starting to lose the comprehension of the words that were given to her. Angrily she blinked, preventing herself from shaking her head in fear that she'd not be able to right it again, the few welled tears finally spilling to create messy rivulets across her dirt smeared cheeks. She hated losing control. She hadn't been this banged up since the Camps. She hated it. Again she tried to focus her sight on the red giant, his figure easily towering over hers, even when he was also kneeling, the shadows dancing at the edge of her vision growing more insistent. The corners of her lips turned upward, a ghost of a smile at recognizing someone that was there to help, in recognition of what words he had spoken that she'd finally understood. Slowly, unsurely, the spines across her body slid back into the patches of skin they'd emerges from, the rooted bones severing where they touched her flesh to rid herself of the effort it would take to pull them back through the earth. Drunkenly she swayed a little as the stabilizing bones disappeared. By now she just wanted to go home.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
Tricity continued running at Syn. She could feel the electricity beginning to pulse through her completely, which meant a blue aura was most likely going to inadvertantly spread over her entire body. It was important she kept her mutation in check as much as possible. She 'swallowed' the power back up and tried to maintain control. Focus remained on Syn.
Her momentum going forward, Tricity saw Syn pull back for a punch and quickly shifted her weight back to stop. She intinctively threw her arms up to deflect the punch, but was surprised when a sudden force to the stomach winded her. 'She kicked.' Tricity took a few gasps and pulled her arms away from her face to see the woman intending to punch full force this time. Getting hit by Syn was simply not an option Tricity wanted to deal with much in a fight. The woman could hit... hard.
It was then she saw her second opponent coming from her right side. Getting hit by Abyss was simply not an option Tricity wanted to deal with AT ALL in a fight. She had to react now or she was toast.
Still doubled over from the well guided kick she'd received, Tricity let her momentum continue south where she placed her hands on the ground to brace herself and gave a sweeping kick toward Syn's legs before the woman could connect the punch. The kick was set up in such a way that if Syn was sent falling, she would be directly in the path of Abyss who was charging at them. A full blast of electricity released from her hands as well, sending a shocking wave through the earth and in a radius of 15 feet around her.
She had to slow Abyss and put some distance between herself and the siblings.
Watching with curiosity, as the destructive monster smashed through Blake's earth wall without a sweat. Listening to Abyss' trash talk, with a serious look in his eyes, Blake decided to give the creature that made hell seem like a nice place to be at this time. "That's a lot of trash talk, let's see if you can back it up!" Wallrunner stood in a stance, as he got ready to charge the beast, he yelled out "THE BIGGER THEY ARE! THE HARDER THEY FALL!"
Making his way towards Abyss', he made 6 stone clones of himself out of the ground in front of him. Each stone warrior look-alike halted along with the original. Moving his hands around in strange motions, stone under Blake's feet slowly crawled up his leg like a serpent. Now covering his entire body in a skin tight seal of weak-end stone, Wallrunner looked the same as his six fellows. "Now, let's see if you can tell which one is me!" He told the beast as the clones and himself started to move in circles, creating an impossible to see dust wave. As the dust cleared they were all standing in re-arranged areas.
As three of the clones ran towards Abyss, the other three clones plus the hidden Blake Harold's stayed behind. The three attacking clones threw spears at the unstoppable monster, two attempting to throw the sharp objects in each of the dark creatures pupils, trying to temperately blind him. The other three clones, and Wallrunner stood back doing hand motions, repairing the offensive clones from damage. The reason the clones did the hand motions too, was so that Abyss could not tell who the real Blake Harold's was.

‘He’s defiantly faster than me,’ thought Bacchus as he felt the metal hit his hand with no effect, ‘well that evens things up a bit’ smiled Bacchus as he pulled his hands up and put them to his side. ‘Well super speed is easy they just like to flaunt their power but him,’ Bacchus sighed slightly he really didn’t want to fight but Isabel had been his first friend in America even if she tried stabbing him a few times. ‘Just wait till she is safe then we can stop’ thought Bacchus as he looked at the man in silver.
"Bane stupid. Save your friend while you still can. If I can get through her what makes you think I can't get through you."
Grinning slightly, ‘should I play stupid? Be funny as hell later if I did run into him’ but Bacchus decided against it and spoke after his laugh echoed throughout the grounds, “I beg to differ mate,” Bacchus nodded over to the muscular red guy and noticed he was helping Isabel out, “if he wasn’t here I would be there in a heartbeat but seeing as how he decided to show, you get to be caught in the ring with me!”
With that Bacchus punched his fists together and then stepped towards the man in silver, it was a short step for him but he was still big and still slow, that was the only thing the man in silver had on him right?
Throwing punch after punch Bacchus felt like he wasn’t aiming for the man in silver any more it seemed to him he was aiming at the ground. Knowing full well Bacchus wasn’t going to land a hit on the man any time soon he kept going. Hoping the man in the silver body armor would slip up; he did after all just get done fighting two mutants.
After throwing a few punches a smile appeared on Bacchus face as he figured out several strategies one of them was already starting to come off pretty well. Bacchus already started to see an out line of something in the ground, ‘hope you are as fast in the water!’ Bacchus thought as he threw one punch directed at the pipe.
Pulling back his fist Bacchus grinned as water shot out of the ground and sprayed the area they were in. soon the ground would flood and either slow the silver menace, or blind him either way Bacchus waited to see what happened.
ooc: So Raina had technically taken her exit after this post from her brother
IC:
Things were happening so fast Naveed didn't know which way was up. He completley lost track of Flloyd and Raina shot up like a bullet to yell a swear word- something he'd never heard leave her lips at some woman for attacking a guy. "That must be the boyfriend or whatever" he told himself dabbing at his own face feeling embaressed that his little sister had just laid the smack down while he'd been smacked. "Raina take it easy." he said wearily watching her in her trance like state.
Before he knew what was happening she fell backward. He caught her in his arms just as a woman (Emmy) came up and informed him they needed to get the infirmary. "Yeah, no shit!" he said hoisting Raina over his shoulder. "Lets get the hell outta here!"

Streak was a little surprised when he hit the giant's hands and his sword had no effect on him. Well this may not be a a good thing. He thought to himself. Streak pulled his sword back quickly so that no one would have any chance of grabbing onto his sword. Well the man at least had a reason for attacking Streak. Even if it wasn't a good reason it was a better reason than any of the other Orderlings had attacked the mansion with. Streak had to admire the guy for that. At least he had a heart, unlike some of the others that seemed to be fighting here. He wasn't going to back down now. He wasn't even going to act scared around him. There was no reason that he should be worried. he was probably one of the best fighters in the mansion. Streak prepared himself for the attack that was inevitable.
Soon the giant stepped towards him and started throwing lots of punches. The punches started flying. They weren't aimed very well because he was able to dodge most of them. It seemed like this was going to be a fight of power versus speed, and since Streak had already fought two people he wasn't going to be nearly as fast as if this was his first battle. He knew right away that he was going to be taking more hits in this fight. The silver mutant was already breathing hard from avoiding the punches. Streak dove this way and that way avoiding the punches. He tripped over a hole in the ground and landed his back at the ground. He tried to roll up but his blades got stuck in the ground. Streak's eyes went wide as the fist came down at him. He continued to struggle with the blades. They finally came free and he rolled away, hoping he had escaped the punch. Unfortunately he was not quick enough. As he was getting up the punch landed on his leg. He could feel the bones in his leg snap and in some places shatter. There was also a piece of bone protruding through his skin. The white stood out against his silver skin and blood. "Ahhh!" He cried as the blood started to seep out from under his skin. He hoped the bones hadn't hit a major artery.
Streak gripped his leg for a few seconds. He then tried to stand up and put some weight on the leg. When he tried he fell back to the ground. There was no way he could finish this fight on the ground. There was always one more option for him that would try. In fact he would probably be faster in the air than on the ground, especially at this moment. This wound would take more than just his normal healing just his normal healing ability. As the giant punched the ground, Streak was off it in a heart beat. The water from the broken pipe sprayed up and Streak dodged it easily. He didn't have to work very hard to move through the air and with not having to put weight on his leg made him feel much better. Flying around he felt a little like a fly buzzing around a normal person's head. He flew around for a while taking in the giants body as he tried to figure out what would be the best attack against him.
The big red guys were much more intimidating than ... well, almost everything she'd seen unfold so far. So many times Ghost had stepped forward to help someone out only to be distracted and think herself needed elsewhere. Weren't there rules about fair play or something? Like only one versus one allowed? Though that Bug girl had gotten Ghost a bit angry when she'd tried to fling the little girl off the roof. Sure, she shouldn't have been there, but that was one harsh way to teach that lesson.
Perhaps she could start helping the wounded? There were certainly enough groans and moans happening on both sides that someone could use her help. Like Streak. Ghost cringed at the sick sound of bone snapping. She had thought that Giant gentle! He was just supposed to get the doors and go!
Ghost darted out suddenly from beneath the shade of the oak entirely unaware of any peril she may be in. One thing was for sure. That giant had said he'd play nice. Breaking Streak's leg was so not nice. Oh, but then she hesitated because Streak was up and in the air. She'd forgotten that he could do that. Hesitation on the battle field was practically an invitation for hurt.
This is just too easy. Shade thought to himself as he closed in on the unsuspecting woman with white hair. His blade was hidden in the shadow of his hand to prevent it from disappearing while his other hand moved to grab the distracted X-man. The inches slowly crept by as Shade made his approach. He knew the perils of striking too soon or too quickly. An arm's reach would be the perfect distance, and Shade wanted to be absolutely sure of his capture. Finally only two inches remained as the last foot fall pressed into the grass without a sound from Shade's percisely placed foot. As the weight shifted to his front leg, the shadow stalker felt the tiny twig beneath his foot before a loud snap interrupted the battle sounds.
However, it was too late. The distance had already been closed. It was just too short a time for a reaction as the twig acted like a starter's gun. Shade's left hand shot out and grabbed the same hand of his unwary opponent. The hand with the blade curved around her neck as the left hand forced the hand to curve around her back.
"Well hello there, beautiful." Shade whispered harshly into the woman's ear. The dagger resting just touching her neck.
"What is delicate, little flower like yourself doing out here?"

Alex broke away from the sight of the battle, calming his racing heart as he did so. Alex turned away, glancing back the way he had come. He spotted something under the tree he had used to vault onto the wall.
It was a girl. A guy had come up behind her and grabbed her. Alex paused. Should he get involved in this? He glanced at the street, then back at the girl.
Ah hell. Alex hurried along the wall, keeping low. At the very least, he would get close to lend a hand. Alex reached out and levitated a branch from the ground as he approached, ducking under the shadow of the tree.
A brief sense of joy was felt by Syn as her kick connected with Tricity's guts. The woman was going down. Now was the time to act. Syn dove on top of the other woman just as she felt one of her feet brush against a sweeping leg of Tricity. With the X-Men leader releasing most of her electricity into the ground Syn only felt a slight tingle as she made contact with the woman. Syn grabbed for Tricity's throat and if she were to get hold she would squeeze as hard as she could in hopes of making her opponent pass out.

Aiden was in the Jaguar heading to a night club where he had been hoping to get some entertainment to brighten up the rest of his day. So far he had found very few mutants in New York. It was kind of dissappointing for him to find the largest city in the United States had such a low mutant population. You would think with the high population that there would be more genetic variability as well.
While Aiden was passing a huge mansion, he peered inside the gateless entrance to see a full scale battle between mutants in progress. The weretiger inside him grew restless from the sounds of battle. Aiden was a little excited himself as he quickly parked the car and got out of it.
Aiden walked over to the wall surrounding the building. It would have been a difficult climb for a human but only a small jump for a pair of tiger's legs. From his new vantage point Aiden viewed the devastation in front of him. This is what he had been looking for since he had arrived in the city.
The mutant watched the battle and began to mentally take notes of how many mutants there were, which ones fought whom, and their apparent mutations. Aiden would need all the information he could get if he was going to prove himself the greatest predator known to man.
OOC: Aiden is only an observer. Feel free to acknowledge him if you wish but he won't participate in the fight.
