The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

This orderling was crafty, probably as crafty as he is and quick too. He'd managed to inflict some damage to the girl before she pushed it away with her bones. He was surprised that she could do that. She must control her bones the way I control my silver. He thought quickly as she deflected the rest of the strike. She'd successfully managed to stop the sword in its tracks with her bones. Her comments weren't the nicest in the world. Of course he wasn't happy with them at all but he knew that she was saying that to to make him mad.
"Tsk, tsk, Chickie," "Stabbing a young woman in the back. That isn't a very X-Nerdy thing for you to do. For shame,"
"Well it isn't very Mutant Rightsish to attack a school with mutants. I don't hold any mercy for people that try to kill my friends." Streak said as he continued applying pressure. He finally realized that he wasn't going to get any farther by pushing on the bones. The bone lady then did something he didn't expect. She shot bones out of her hands. They were going straight for his chest. Streak pulled the sword back to his body and he spun around. He'd never really used the blades on his back so he was just going by instinct. He felt the bones hit the blades on his back; however, instead of digging into him they stopped. The silver man then continued spinning and glanced off the blades.
He then brought his arms down, the blades on his arms connecting and going through the closest bone to that arm like it was butter. Streak then continued swinging his arm and brought the sword up as hard as he could through the other bone that had hit him in the back. Silver Streak smiled. This girl was making things to easy for him. her bones seemed to be no match for what his silver weapons could do. He brought the sword back around just as quickly as he could and swung at her mid section hoping to slice her guts open. One good stab deserved another seemed only to appropriate for his fight with this order member.

Luke was so focused on getting to Raina and getting her off of the battlefield that he almost didn't notice when a little fox girl came up and grabbed his arm, slipping it over her shoulder to support some of his weight.
"No... I've got to help Raina!" Luke said as forcefully as he could manage though anyone with half a brain would be able to tell that he was weaker than usual.
“You’re name is Mr. Luke right? Well, Mr. Luke you need to get out of this battle along with Miss Raina and my sister and I are going to help you with that.”
Raina... he had to help Raina... this was her freaking birthday! How in the world could it have gone so wrong?
"I'm fine..." Luke said as he stumbled, inadvertently putting extra weight on Ruby's shoulder before he corrected himself and put his weight back on his own legs again, "Just... just get her."
He wasn't thinking clearly and he knew it... his thought process felt like it were trying to slog through a huge pit of mud. But, at least the pain was beginning to go away. But why wasn't it more to the forefront like it had been only a few moments ago?
"That's.... not good... not... good." Luke thought as Ruby guided him toward the mansion front door and eventually the infirmary. Moments later Luke was sprawled out on a bed, his eyes closed and breathing shallow. The blood flow had never quite stopped and he could feel his strength continuing to drain.
"Useless..." He murmured softly, his foggy mind not recognizing if anyone was round him or not, "Can't save anyone... not even Raina... useless..."
An then darkness claimed him.
(OOC: Luke has exited the fight thread. Ya'll have fun!)

The bombs were dropping. The guns were fiering. The enemy made it's way tumbling through the open field. The planes over head were loud and invasive. The soil was dark with everyone's blood. No. That's just a memory of a war long passed... isn't it?
Raina felt warm arms grab her. Very warm arms. Was it Emmy? Ted? her mind raced with the possiblities but she couldn't see well yet. Where was Luke. Was Luke ok?
She turned her head toward her saviour but unlike Luke she couldn't see through darkness by use of sonar. "Luke?" she asked feebly. "Everything hurts. This wasn't how it was supposed to be." she was on the move and she could tell. "Naveed?" she called out.
ooc: a little short, if you wanna make a post in the infirmary we can all jump there Em, I'll have Naveed come too.
People were dropping now. The numbers on the field were dwindling. Tricity knew it and Syn knew it... And what had it solved in the end? Nothing as usual... Suddenly, two familiar streaks flew across the grounds and she felt a surge of relief to see Emerald and her sister coming to the aid of Raina, her brother, and Luke. The girls were helping them from the battle. A bit of happiness washed over Tricity, but it was quickly replaced again by anger, annoyance, and still a hint of fear as she focused once more at the woman in front of her.
"Enough." Tricity pulled another surge of the back up power that was lying dormant in the broken lights of the field. Her body was pulsing with energy now, but she remembered Syn's mutation well and kept most of the power subsided with only a trickle of it in her fists. Tricity shifted her weight back and then forward again, sending a right hook at Syn, followed with a step with her right foot and a left kick to the woman's side.
(OOC: Woot, I'm back. No more sicky, holidays, or constant working!)
((OOC: Just so everyone knows. I'm letting Tricity's attack connect.))
Syn stood her ground and watched as the ice woman sent out a powerful attack towards Isabel. In a way it surprised the girl as she was fully expecting for the attack to come at her instead. With Isabel barely in peripheral view Syn couldn't tell if her friend had been hit or not. making things even more difficult for her to look was the fact that Tricity was now actually moving to attack.
The woman charged herself up and committed to her assault. The first thing coming was a fist, and a smile from Syn. Thinking it was an easy attack to avoid Syn stepped back and to her allowing the punch to pass in front of her. Just to be safe Syn threw up her arms to block should Tricity swing towards the girl. This went as planned but the following event was hardly prepared for. Tricity's punch had succeeded in drawing Syn's full attention away from the second attack. Tricity's left legged kick connected with full force against Syn's back. The impact sent Syn forward rather violently, and at a pace the girls legs had trouble keeping up with but managed to keep her up. Pain raced across the girls back and up her spine.
Stopping several feet away from Tricity the dark girl immediately reached to her back with both of her hands. This did nothing to comfort her back but mentally it helped a little. "You'll pay for that! I'll make sure of it." Syn scowled back at the woman, but for now she could do nothing.
The drive to the Mansion was about insane as their drive to the Sanct…Why had they let mercury drive again? They speed through (literally) traffic or around it and sometimes not on the road all together. AS they got toward the neighborhood of the School, and lower speed limits their pace only seemed to climb, its odd how a hundred on the high way seems fast, but when in a residential area and every thing flies by it seems …fatal.
They were way late to the party, Only in time to clean up the mess.. The White truck Speed onto the Mansion property and toward what was left of the fray. Rock music blared from some Hd radio station Mercury had found while not driving an sort of legally. The Truck slammed to a halt in the pretty field in front of the picturesque mansion. He hated these people. And their fairy tale approach to life. And low and behold their sister was being attacked, their Isabelle was being attacked. That was more than enough. The clones stalked into the field toward their loved ones. Some were unconscious others were still fighting. Pluto ran to help Isabelle and Abyss ran to help Syn. If that Elec-trick hurt Synny she would be paying for it soon.
As the silver boy pulled his weapon back, Isabel had to plant the two leg-like bones into the ground to prevent herself from toppling over with the sudden shift in weight and pressure. "You X-Dorks aren't any better than the humans you're trying to be! You lower yourselves to the level of those mongrels, so you'll be treated exactly the same!" she spat back, furious that her intended assault not only missed its target, but was also deflected, her weapons somehow unable to break past the blades of the young man's back and find purchase in the skin beneath. Again she took a step back, the bones continuing to extend, but at a much slower rate, her focus now on twisting them around the silver mutant in an attempt to find vulnerable skin somewhere else. However, yet again she was denied her fun when the blades that the X-Nerd carried on his arms managed to cut clean through her bones. Clearly she had underestimated the edges of the blades and the strength backing them up. Her own weapons had by no means been at their hardest, but they still would have given most a decent level of trouble. It was infuriating! It was a simple enough task to reshape the severed tips of the bones and to reinforce them, but the fact that he'd been able to cut them away in the first place was enough to irritate her to no end. Shifting her weight and pulling the tips of the spidery bone legs from the ground to poise them once again above her shoulders, she made a move to make another attack when a large blur of red entered the corner of her vision. Thinking it was perhaps another attack from one of the other Mansion residents, her attention snapped toward the striking color, only to receive the shock of her life. "Abyss..."
And that's when a searing pain struck her. Isabel's body gave a harsh jerk backward and a little to the side, a poor attempt to escape the line of agony that blazed across her stomach. Her eyes went wide and her mouth dropped open as her gaze dragged back over to the silver mutant before falling to seek out the source of her pain. Rapidly a line of red was spreading across her clothing and seeping downward, seeking to drench her lower half in its lovely crimson shade. Glaringly the white bone beneath her separated skin shone through the red of the blood, sporting a nasty looking gash in its otherwise smooth surface. The silver Mansionite's blade had not managed to penetrate deep enough to reach her innards, but it had certainly succeeded in damaging her body, her brief lapse in attention turning out to be a big mistake. With an almost confused tone, an unintelligible string of noise issued from her throat as she stumbled back a few steps before her knees gave out and she tumbled to the ground, tears of hatred, fury, and pain slowly building in her eyes. Clumsily her fingers fluttered over her wound before a thin strand of thread-like bone went to work messily trying to stitch the wound together, her shattered concentration effectively preventing the makeshift stitching from doing much more than creating a big mess. She felt like screaming, crying, and ripping something apart all at the same time, and not just because of the pain that stabbed at her. However, she could manage none of those things at the moment as she simply stared wide-eyed up at the silver mutant, her body kicking into defense mode as spines sprang from her body to try and prevent anyone from reaching her flesh again, a few more large spikes burrowing down into the ground from her legs only to emerge again in a sloppy perimeter around her. Did this mean she had lost?
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
Waiting for a moment to strike, he saw his oppertunity as a large clone of Abyss stomped by. Knowing that this creature was pure evil he decided that he should act. "Kay, time for my brawl," he told himself as moved his hand in a diagonally upwards motion. The ground started to move straight and upwards, like a giant moving ramp of earth.
As he got closer and closer to the indestuctable looking beast, he got at a very close range he moved his fingers upwards, catapulting him off, followed by a front flip and landing infront of the abyss clone, with his back turned to it. Crouching on his knee, he turned around and confronted the destructive, and hell-bent creature. He placed his hand on the ground and pulled out a stone staff to duel the evil creature with.
"Hey, I don't like it when people try to hurt my friends. I think I can take you, I've met rosie' o' donnell, your not to much larger" Wallrunner told himself while actually thinking "what the hell did I get myself into, lets hope this guy's as dumb as he looks."

“I fight. I fight with my heart when the battle is worthwhile. This... This, is the same old, same old.”
Bacchus just stared at him and watched him walk away, part of him was confused and part of him wanted to snap his fingers as he left Bacchus sight, “That was deep man” said Bacchus as he watched him walk away. Something did strike Bacchus as odd as the bald one walked into the mansion with out any problems, ‘he live there’ asked Bacchus silently to himself.
Frowning and looking back on the fight Bacchus’s eyes focused on one central location. The bow was the first recognizable thing followed by the white weapons. Isabel seemed to be holding her own in the fight, and a sigh of relief sounded from Bacchus as he blinked, he said he didn’t want to fight but if she was going to be injured there was no way he was going to stand around and do nothing.
But as it was she seemed to be holding her own as she fought the silver guy who had blades forming from the silver that covered his body. He defiantly seemed to be in a more killing mood than her last dance partner who didn’t use swords.
Very loud music could be heard off in the distance as a white truck filled with what looked like the perfect makings of a Mutant foot ball team in the back of a white pick up. One thing stood out as Bacchus watched them drive by red skin and all of them looked the same.
To his relief it didn’t look like they were coming to fight the help the ones at the mansion but instead the filled in and started picking off the group of mutants Isabel and her friends were fighting. Bacchus stomach dropped as he saw something that wasn’t there before.
It was red and it was covering Isabel and just as soon as Bacchus watched intently white spikes poked up from the ground. “Isabel!” Bacchus yelled out into an echo across the grounds. With one smooth motion Bacchus lifted his hand and pulled himself up on the wall. Bacchus jumped as far as he could from the wall to where Isabel was the ground shaking and screaming from the massive weight that decided to force itself there. Bacchus was never much of a runner but when you could make each stride over ten feet long you didn’t have to be much of a runner. Bacchus closed the distance quickly now tensing his fists as he felt his shirt tighten greatly. Bacchus shirt continued to tighten as it ripped on the now massive body of Bacchus.
Despite the situation of Bacchus frustration that his first legitimate friend was injured on his watch something that he couldn’t forgive. He had to try to get over his anger for a moment he couldn’t fight like a berserker he had to make sure Isabel was okay.
Bacchus noticed as one of the members of the giant red mutant football team was already making his way over to the fight as well. Which was perfect, Bacchus was already in a bad mood and took this as the perfect opportunity to vent on the guy in silver. Bacchus let out a large roar and stomped the ground and ripped the remains of his shirt from his body.
Letting out a war cry he used when he was a kid Bacchus looked down to the man in silver and yelled “BANE SMASH!!!!” lifting his hand over his head Bacchus brought down his large fists hoping to land a hit. ‘Hope this silver guy is slow’ thought Bacchus as he mentally thought of his weakness ‘sure I am big but I am slow’.

DK was on the out skirts of the state when he got the call. As soon as the call was cut his trusty GTO was drifting and racing towards the scene. He parked his car a couple of blocks down in a dark alley way. Just before locking the door he pulled two huge knives out of the trunk, they were formed of a very strong metal, and slid them into sheaths that appeared on is back.
A few minutes later he arrived at the scene. One part of his brain was telling him *His friends were being injured and all for a silly door.* another part of him grew angry at the sight of injury. Started to walk towards the battle field, as he did armour started to form around him (think Spawn), covering him heat to toe, it was smooth, sleek, and strong, it flowed with him as he waked, only his eyes could be seen and the handles of the two huge blades jutted from his shoulders. Towards his leader he stalked, like an unstoppable force. He pitied anyone who got in his way.
The idle thought wandered through the mercenary’s mindscape as his seraphic opponent managed to reorient himself and transform his sudden descent into a controlled roll. It was not an entirely unexpected outcome, it was only logical that those possessing aerial mutations learned how to cope when their talents failed. Be that as it may though the information did not prevent Zephyr from entertaining a modicum of annoyance and ennui towards his adversary, the elemental wished the man no ill will but he had no real desire to remain in this farce of a battle, however the unfortunate fact of the matter was that the merc was committed to the conflict until its conclusion, thus the most expedient method to terminate this monotonous melee was to simply incapacitate each challenger he encountered.
Speaking of other challengers it seemed as though the stone water siren had emerged from her intangible prison, a fact signaled by the abrupt profanity which seared across the battlefield gaining the attention of practically every combatant present. Zephyr himself barely cast the emotional girl a glance before he felt a rapid displacement crashing through the air, immediately shifting his attention away from his still rising opponent the mercenary’s azure eyes caught site of a thundering torrent of ice streaming from the redheads mouth as it stormed towards a bone manipulating Order member, colliding with the ribbon wearing female with the force of a freight train, easily slamming the girl into the ground and dragging her through the bitterly frozen earth as though she were no more than an unruly child. It was an impressive site if truth be told, there were relatively few elemental mutants in existence and of those that subsisted their powers were generally rather limited. In this instance however the crimson haired harpy had not only managed to create a sizeable amount of ice, she had also achieved a stunning amount of control in directing the sudden flow against her target in a manner guaranteed an optimum amount of damage. Again it was an impressive site and had the woman not collapsed after her assault Simon may have almost considered it noteworthy, as it was though the mercenary merely raised a brow at the display before writing the girl off for her lack stamina and turning back to his original opponent who, in hindsight, he really shouldn’t have neglected in the first place.
The winged challenger had long ago regained his footing, setting himself in a low stance while his triad of ivory wings framed his form like some unorthodox angelic effigy. The man arms were bent in front of his chest and his hands had been brought together in a manner that suggested something was encased within their grasp, briefly Simon wondered what the man was playing at before cerulean orbs caught a flicker of flame between his adversary’s fingers and his eyes barely had time to widen in surprise before the seraphic mans arms shot outwards and the insubstantial fire evolved into a roaring inferno intent on immolating anything and everything in its path. There was no time to block, no time to deflect and barely enough time to react at all as the air elemental brought one arm up to cover his face while the other began making a sweeping gesture towards the earth, before the action could be completed though the flames were upon him, devouring his upper body in a crimson coloured blazed for a few precious moments until the mercenary’s arm finished it’s movement and a arc of sharpened wind collided with ground, hurling a thick curtain of earth upwards into the flames path, acting as a temporary shield and obscuring the view of both combatants, an effect Simon took advantage of as he stepped several meters to the left and swiftly summoned the vacuum dome he had weaved for the stone water siren, rapidly reshaping it into a curved barrier before placing between himself and his assailant just as the veil of earth fell to the ground, revealing the damage the flames had done.
Charred was one was to put it, scorched was another and carbonized was yet a third description, in either case all three adjectives pointed towards the same conclusion. The mercenary’s torso and chest had been roasted to an obsidian hue while his arms still retained a portion of their original colouring, the damage over all though was substantial and under any other circumstances would have likely been fatal. As luck would have it though the raiment’s Zephyr wore when riding had been designed with the intention of minimizing injuries to the rider in the event of an accident, to that end the fibers comprising the elementals current attire were made of a Kevlar blend and as such were highly resistant to flames. Despite this though several patches of the mercenary’s jacket had almost been consumed by his opponents attack leaving rather painful sensations across his chest and abdomen, additionally in the areas where the fire had managed to achieve purchase on his skin, such as his wrists and the gap between his helmet and collar, there existed a series of high degree burn wounds which although small in size were no less painful for that fact. As for the Zephyrs helmet well, suffice to say it had seen better days, the highly durable polymer; created to withstand collisions and other blunt force trauma had never been tested against immense heat and, sadly, the results of this impromptu experiment revealed a deformed and melted item which was most uncomfortable and so Simon wasted no time in removing the burdensome object; ripping it from his head and tossing it to the earth before gazing back at his opponent, animosity evident in his azure eyes.
What was the saying? Ah yes, *Fool me once shame on you fool me twice, well… there wouldn’t be a second time Zephyr was certain of that; a pyromancer didn’t have a chance against any decent wind elemental, not when they controlled the very air needed to fuel the flames. Even now the mercenary was slowly drawing together a sphere of oxygen in case his opponent attempted to resume his assault, until such a time arrived though Simon intended to show his appreciation for such a warm greeting by responding in a similar manner. With his arms hanging down by his sides Zephyr’s cobalt gaze narrowed as he imposed his will upon the air, condensing various gases into an almost solid orb the size of his fist and sending it flying at his opponents midsection with enough force to at least wind if not injure the winged man.
The attack was not truly meant to end the fight, only to act as a warning, one which Simon then voiced “I suggest you walk way, you’ll be at a disadvantage if you continue and I have other things to do today.”
Tricity immediately produced a surging blue orb in her hand and aimed for her opponent when a sudden familiar and hulking red figure entered the grounds. 'Abyss...' In her notice of the new Order member entering the fight, Tricity found that even more of the opponent had made an appearance. Were these reinforcements or a second wave of mutants they hadn't seen in the darkness of the grounds? It seemed the X-Men had gotten the upper hand at one point, but now... there weren't many of them left on the field and they would each be handling more than one adversary.
This process of thought hadn't distracted Tricity for more than a second as Syn was still recovering from her first attack. Tricity quickly switched targets and aimed directly for Abyss who was bounding across the grounds toward them. The electrical ball flew from her hands and toward the red mass of muscle, directly aiming for the mutant's chest. As soon as the attack was released, Tricity conjured up another surge of power and ran toward Syn. Fighting both the siblings at once could prove... difficult.
Once Seraph had felt his attack had connected, he forced it to an even greater degree of heat than when he had first struck the other mutant. But his adversary's use of power that prvovided him with an earthen shield was not lost on the X-Men trainee. The result was Seraph ending his attack so he could examine the damage he had wrought on his opponent.
The mutant had cerainly been blackened very well but as for fatal to incapacitating injuries he appeared to be lacking. But his appearence still gave Seraph a slight boost in confidence that his chances of winning the fight might not be as bad as he had previously thought. The mutant began to remove the remains of his helmet with urgency.
Other than that he didn't appear to be doing much of anything. Seraph became more alert as he continued to watch his opponent. It made him very nervous. With his senses strained, the invisible blow to his chest came as a surprise to Seraph. It caused him to take a step back and knocked the his breath away from him but it did not cause him to lose his feet. He listened to the mutant's statement as he caught his breath.
In retaliation, Seraph caused five cylindrical pillars of fire to erupt from the ground up at specific points surrounding his adversary. Each pillar was about 7 feet high and about 2 feet in diameter. When his right hand made a closed fist all the pillars came crashing in on the air elemental. From above it would seem like each point of a pentagon was moving towards the center of the shape.
When the flames came near the man, they simply fizzled out. Seraph ground his teeth at the failure. Blast. I should have thought of that. This guy must be a air elemental and he knows how to use his powers too. But what's is he doing giving me a chance to leave? He can't be part of the Order or he would have simply pressed his advantage and beaten me easily. He still can beat me easily. But there is no one else to fight him. And I won't turn and run."
"Oh, that hurts. Why don't you stick around though? I'll make it interesting for you I promise."
Now Abyss and Dragon King were here? Where had they come from? Syn shook away the thoughts and was just happy they had shown up. Her brother had already begun multi-tasking his clones in efforts to aid Isabel and help cover the battle field so that no other X-Men tried to double up on any Order members. Abyss was heading towards Syn, but the girls attention was snatched away as a blue orb flew past her. It was aimed for Abyss.
Syn refocused on Tricity and summoned up all the strength she could. The woman had the nerve to try for another attack on the girl. "Alright, let's play." As they were only a few feet apart from each other after Tricity's previous successful strike; Syn waited for Tricity to get closer with her own fist ready to strike. Syn's cocked fist was a diversion as just when they were about to collide the girl snapped a powerful front kick aimed for Tricity's stomach. If she made contact then Syn's fist would also swing into action directed for the back of Tricity's head. Such a hit could knock someone out or do serious damage especially when hit as hard as Syn can.
(love ya lady J, the elecTrick comment was absolutel in character. )
Abyss Had learned so much since their first fight at King pharmecuticals, for instance electricty in the void was nearly maningless, sure it cuased him headaches but what was needing some advil compared to being electricuted. A black void opened up eating the Electric ball and let him close the distance paticularly with Tricity shifting her attention away from him again. Syn needeed to merely hang on for another moment and thenbig brother would handle the enemy. When Abyss had closed the distance he gripped both of his hands together much as if he were swinging an invisible bat and attempted to waylay the woman.
Pluto Looked up at the shouting and growing young man and wasn't displeased that he was worried about Isabel. He wasn't too sure what the young man's size meant strength wise but he was sure that at the end of the day a scrap with him would at the very least leave him sore. now as for Isabel Pluto nealt by the woman now that he didn't have to worry about sharp and shinny. " Isabel it's me pluto , Its time to go home, put some of those ones back where they belong so I canget you home and in bed... ?!? Well you know what I mean." He went for comedy it was his strong point so it was what he would try to get her attention with.
Mercury Watched as a young man sailed over his head and whirled around him. Very Dramatic, but useless. being showy like that in battle wasted time and made openings that weren't nessacary. A wall of earth shot out of the ground between them. He swung his fist harshlyinto the wall. He hadn't known any earth to stand before him.
~~"Hey, I don't like it when people try to hurt my friends. I think I can take you, I've met rosie' o' donnell, your not to much larger"~~
"ROsie O'donnel?" Mercurcy snerked. "Knowing something and foolishly thinking something are two diffent things....Tell you what boy, I'll let you take your best shot. do your best and if I am still standing here when you are done, you get to runfor your life and hope something catches my eye before I ground your bones into dust. and the rest of you int to a bright red mush." Mercury was the least san of the seven and it was funny to himthat they tuaght people to charge into such foolishly head long, they should teach him some tactics. hanging back and letting the earth do his fighting was what he should be doing, as far as he could see there was no reason for him to be with in his reach. He put his arms out to his sides and waited for the man to do what he could.
