I should have thought of this a few weeks back when I joined but hopefully isn't too late, but is there a certain process for a character to join the NYPD? I have mine interested in being hired there mainly for a CSI position, but wasn't sure if something IC had to be done first.
I'd have her remain in the South but all the action seems to be in New York mainly.
Yes, the bulk of the RP takes place in New York. That isn't to say that you can't have threads elsewhere, you can. But all our permanent locations are set in New York.
So, what does your character need to do to join the CSI portion of the police department? Corrine will need to do what any person needs to do: apply for the job, get some training, etc. We shoot for something sorta like "realistic" so whatever you can dig up that makes sense, do that!

It's always easiest to have live access to other people when doing things like character apps and so on, and when trying to work out if an RP site suits you. I like informing whether I join largely on how people interact and how helpful they are and such, because it's easier to deal with slightly weird rules than aggressive staff, y'know?
Also I'm the sort of person who always has a ton of questions and it's easiest to handle that live than it is to end up with an entire thread of back-and-forth.
Anyway.
The Chat Box doesn't work on my browser at all, and I've seen hints from looking around that there's meant to be an accessible discord chat attached to it somehow, but that's also not showing at all. I searched through historic posts, and there's no other ways to access it. I was wondering what a link to the actual discord would be? It could be a good idea to make a permanent link easily accessible somewhere so that people with a similar thing with their browsers can also access it, as well.
