MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. Hello! You probably don't remember me but I was active here at MRO a couple of years back (around 2009-2011.) I had a character called <a href="http://theultimatexmen.proboards.com/thread/5150/chris-berg">Chris Berg,</a> but had to leave since I didn't have time for RPing. I've really missed it though, and now that I have more free time I'd like to return. The thing is, I think my old account (called ja) has been deactivated? When I try password retrieval it just says that there's no mail or username affiliated with the site. Would it be possible to re-activate my old account or should I apply for a new one?
Really great to see that MRO is still up and running though.

You have to send it to the mod-mail e-mail to get approved first. If you look at the New Member's tab at the top of the screen, the rules will have all the instructions on how to do that : )

Hey.
I stubbled across your forum from Germany and really think it looks nice.
I got a bunch of questions, not just one. Hope it's okay?
When I want to get a power checked for beeing okay in the RPG can I ask a mod before applying so I can maybe rewrite or rethink my idear? Or shall I just try it?
Am I forced to join one of the three fractions, or can I be a fractionless character that maybe will develope and affinition to one of the three, or maybe will always be kinda something inbetween? (like f.ex. joining the NYPD when it helps archiving a characters plans)
Since this is an american forum, I wanted to get this checked before: How about gay characters? Okay, or do you wanna avoid this topic?
I'm not 100% sure about the first question. I think the mods prefer full applications. When you send in your application, the mods will work with you on your character's power if necessary. There are only a few powers, listed in the the rules, that they would downright reject.
As for the second question, I know most characters start out factionless and work their way up in character to a position on one (or more) of the factions. There are also quite a few characters that aren't part of a faction, so joining a faction is not required at all.
As for your last question, gay characters are welcome, no problem at all!
I'll also point your to the New Members tab near the top that has a list of useful guides. It'll help you get started.
Has any of the staff considered making a Predator X type character to mess things up and get characters to work together? Maybe develop something akin to the Collosus/Wolverine manouver (or the Collosus/Blink from DoFP) just to really shake things up a bit? I dont mean to use my first post to cause utter anarchy but I think it'd be awesome. I always love when X-Men do work together even just a short term Predator X or a new incarnation of the Brotherhood?

Hi Guys,
Newly registered after submitting my app. Did it a little out of order but I wanted to just pop in and give a quick greeting. I also had a question about the current board wide plot. I saw the posts were dated for 2013. Is that still going on?
