IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT: RIP IS FINALLY HERE, PEOPLE. THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

All gratuitous capitalization aside, the Ripples in Time Plot is officially underway and the rift between the MRO!Verse and the Alt!Verse is open for business. Characters can cross through the checkpoint between worlds and interact with whoever they want! It’s an interdimensional door to possibilities, so go out there and write!

For anyone caught in the initial RIP opening and tossed into a new universe, we have a starter for you! Post your initial reaction post here, and feel free to link out if your post continues into a thread!

2017 Player Survey: It’s that time of the year again! We love to know who makes up this wonderful corner of the internet we’ve carved out for ourselves. We encourage everyone to take this survey, (providing whatever information they are comfortable with,) so we can get a great snapshot of our player-base and character-base!

New Faction! The Syndicate: Led by the dangerous Boss Poseidon (AV!Jorge,) The Syndicate will be making it’s official MRO!Verse debut! Bringing a Mutant Supremacist, Mafia-Style organization into our world, Poseidon will be looking to increase his reach, influence, and power. If the mutant-first goals and questionable morals of The Syndicate sounds right up your character’s alley, read more about them in The Mafioso’s Guide!

Shiny New Site Redesign: The site is getting an update to its layout in the near future! To better understand why this is coming, read on here!

MRO Hot Spots: Seriously, it’s quite a month for announcements! We have resurrected a fun world building resource: the Hot Spots Map! The draggable, zoomable map of notable locations from the MRO!Verse, including recurring businesses, headquarters, and even character living spaces! As with many of our resources, this map is ever evolving and updating, and you play a big role in that, so if you have any locations you would like to add to the map, submit them here!

Akshay Malik: Originally Jorge’s ultimate wordsmith, he enters the Alt!Verse as the perfect horror movie stalker!

Chrysanthemum Van Hart: Neo’s human voodoo doll who is probably watching you right now!

Alice Rivers: Khzar’s second and Serena’s little sister, complete with awesome built-in video game style Head’s-Up Display!

Ignacio "Tonatiuh" Ramírez: Green’s second, the solar-powered psedo-Aztek sun god!

Donahue Walsh: A young man with beastly arm enhancements in a fight!

William “Ion” Faraday: Fuego’s second, the Texan (of course) electrical generator!

Martha Anne Cooley: Kimmie’s second, whose music has the power… to move you. And other stuff! Musical Telekinesis; cool stuff!
