The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Hey firstly I love fantasy and things like this and it sounds like a lot of fun. Secondly would there be a influence of the "rabbit" in wonderland that could end the dream from that side, like if some characters personality are opposed to killing people they know then they could seek out the rabbits influence. This could also give some goal to a faction. E.g the Order could try to end the dream with violence, whilst X-men could try to find the vorpal blade and stop the jabberwocky or something. Just an idea

I expect people to concoct their own theories IC as to how to stop this, the killing and the peace-making are just two possible suggestions. As of now, I'm sort of piecing ideas together to figure out exactly how this is all going to work out, though I'm not sure how long this will take to work out.

I think isabel should play alice and calley the cheshire cat (duh). I like the idea, if you need a mad hatter hymn is your hatter . Anyways Hymn could also be the cause of the illusion/dreams with her psychic powers *nodnod* ^^

That could be cool. Also, it was mentioned above, as far as Wonderland characters go, our dreamers will resemble characters in Wonderland. So you'll have a couple people looking like March Hares, a couple like Hatters, etc.
Though, I do like the idea of 'Alice' characters, wherein they're the only thing remotely human. And maybe...though it may not be accurate, those stuck in this dream who are familiar with the Wonderland lore can concoct the theory that these 'Alices' are the only ones who can stop this.
If multiple people want to be a certain character, I think it could be interesting if they compete/fight it out to see who is the 'real' one. Maybe one character starts off as a Wonderland character, then another character comes along and cries imposter. Could make things a little more interesting/amusing.

That could work! Especially considering...
"We're all mad here..." One of the lines the Cheshire cat is known for. In Wonderland, just being there is driving the dreamers 'mad.' Insane. Crazy.
This could result in fighting over who's the 'real' [insert character here], because the madness has led them to believe they are really that character.

Well there are different levels of crazy. And the madness pertains to pretty much everyone.
Anyways, it may take awhile, but I'm planning on having a drafted version of the plot, the general directions it can go, and of course somewhat of a 'claim' list, pretty soon.

Okay, folks. The ideas have been mulled over, and things have been shelled out. Here goes...
We are definitely not in Kansas anymore...OOPS wrong reference! Buuut anyway~
Citizens of New York are disappearing. Gone. Vanished into thin air. And the count of missing people--more often than not, mutants--is increasing every day. As far as the rest of the city knows, this is the end of the tale, and those left behind try to cope--if need be.
Those 'missing,' find themselves in a strange twisted version of New York. Central Park is a forest, full of strange plants and creatures. The Sanctuary and Mansion are castles. The statue of liberty is now a monument to the Queen of Hearts. Our missing mutants are caught in a dream, or is it?
Nonetheless, this 'Wonderland' version of New York is where we find ourselves. How did we get here? Some of us went down a rabbit hole, or through a looking glass. Others merely woke up here after staring too long at the Alice Statue in the park. Our characters find they don't even look the same, resembling characters from Alice in Wonderland.
Nothing makes sense, because logic is now illogical. And it's a fun, happy little world... Or not. The main, visible threat is the Queen of Hearts, whom some say is a dreamer like the rest of us. But she doesn't like newcomers, or maybe she doesn't like anyone. Or maybe she just likes hacking off heads.
The other, is the madness. This threat is not visible, but the longer you're in Wonderland, the stronger it takes ahold, leaving you thinking you are the character you resemble, and that you belong here.
There are obvious ways to Wonderland--just follow the rabbit, for instance. But getting out is harder. The easy way is to die. But if you die in Wonderland, you can never return.
We, fellow 'dreamers,' need to find out what is going on, and we have to stop it before it consumes the entire city. Time is running out, and this is one date you do not want to be late for...

So, the next order of business is this. I'm going to make a list of how Wonderland affects each participating character's appearance. So if you plan on participating, please let me know with your decision. Your character can resemble any Alice in Wonderland character, or can be an 'Alice,' with no real change in appearance, except maybe a pretty dress.
Participants Leon: King of Hearts Ty Fisher: Playing Card--Jack of Hearts Paige: Teacup Serena: Alice Tses: Cheshire Cat Kiva: Snap-dragon-fly Adeline: Doormouse Isabel: Queen of Hearts
Needed/Recommended: Alice(Up to 3?): Appearance unaffected by Wonderland. Rumored by some to be the only one who can stop this. Rumored by others to be the cause.
Also, feedback. If there are any others you think would be important, let me know~

What better way to twist my dragon than to make her into a dragonfly? Especially one with leaves for wings and wearing clothing of colour and texture to suggest plum-puddings and raisins. In other words, Kiva will be a loose interpretation of a humanoid snap-dragon-fly.
