Chloe blushed and smiled at Caleb. "I hope I wasn't been too forward. I just had to know what that was like. Kissing the person who's mind you've fallen in love with. Now I can say that I really like every part of you. Mind, Body, and Soul." She didn't wanna say love in front of him just yet. It might scare him away. But she could feel herself nerding out over the feelings she was having for him.
"Let's go get a bite to eat. What do you think about Chinese food? Or would you wanna go somewhere a bit more formal with a nice dinner and a glass of wine?"
Chloe hoped that she hadn't made things awkward for him on their first date. Well, pre-first date. She secretly started to beat herself up for being so forward with him.

Chloe shifts back into her human-self and is still in his lap after shifting. She looks into his eyes lovingly. "You might have had to work extra hard, but you found me. I haven't exactly been well versed in the dating scene either. It seems I have a tendency to be overly affectionate and was with someone who didn't particularly care for it."
Her heart was beating very rapidly in her chest. Caleb was so deep and she knew that what she was about to do would probably be considered very forward, but to her this was a way to just know that their chemistry would work. Their biology would come later if she got lucky. Chloe put her hands on either side of his face and leaned her head close to him and kissed him on his mouth. She didn't mind his fish mouth, but it was the spark of the physical contact between them that made her sure that she loved him.

Chloe nods her head and tells Ty, "That's what I've been working on, but I kinda need to know more about her background. I'm trying to gauge her a little more and push her for what I can. Do you know anything else about Lori? Or the stuff she might be into? I mean she took me to like the oldest toy store in New York and wanted to go together so she wouldn't be considered creepy. But I wanna know more about how she went from running a Pharm company to then experimenting on people and getting away with it."
She could see that he was worried about what his sister was becoming. "Hey, don't worry. I'm not a monster. I'm still your sister. I still love you very much. I just got a little more bada** while you were gone.", she says with a smile.
Chloe's eyes lit up. "Ya know what we haven't done in a while? It's been ages since we went shopping together. We could just window shop and hang out and get lost in the mall for a while. What ya think?"

Chloe smiled when she heard Panu call her pretty. She had to find a way to get Panu to trust her. She knew that her would be her only way out without being caught and hung for her toes and tortured for all she knew. Maybe Panu could be beneficial to her and she could find out more about what was going on around here and if they had plans for Lori. Heck, after what she read about her, she would probably go along with any plan they had for her. But she couldn't let him know about any of her motives or knowledge just yet. She had to play it cool.
She spun the computer around to show him the screen. "I was looking at more pictures of the Finnish Swallowtail that you were showing me earlier and reading about them. They are beautiful. I kinda wish that I could shift into them. I never knew what kinda of butterfly I shifted into. I got lucky to see what I looked like if I could hover close to a window for a while, but it gets kinda hard to see what you look like when you shift. You weren't gone too long and I made sure to watch out for anyone while you slept. And I was prepared to wake you somehow if anyone did show up. My name is Chloe, but my nickname is Butterfly. You can call me either one if ya want. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about me being a mutant earlier, I was just so worn out and I didn't know exactly how to tell you while I was still shifted. I hope that you can forgive me."
She hoped that her explanation and sincere apology to him would suffice and convince him that she was no threat to him.
She reached out toward him with the back of her hand to his forehead. She paused for a second to register his temperature. "Are you feeling very well? You look very flushed and your forehead is slightly warm."

Chloe smiled as she saw that Ty had a plan. Chloe got so excited. Lori was so gonna be f***ed. She was gonna learn that you don't **** with her brother and that you don't try to manipulate her without your *** being handed to you. It was time for Chloe to show her brother how much she loved him and that they could stick together, even through some rough, shady ****. And whatever Lori was doing in her experiments that made Ty cringe and be changed so differently, well Chloe would expose it and bring it to the light of day. All of the public would know of the kind of monster she was.
Chloe smirked at her thoughts and then continued to smirk as she looked to Ty and said, "So what kinda plan are we talking and that won't be hard. I practically have her eating out of my hand. She's trying so hard to have me like her and be won over. I think I could tell her anything and she'd believe it. And I don't care how risky and dangerous it is. We gotta stick together and I'll be one evil ***** to protect you if I have to. Hell, I may even like it."

Butterfly smiled as he discussed helping his teammates train for wrestling despite his mutation and thought it was absolutely wonderful and was glad that some music in common. She heard him snort and knew that he was doubting himself because of his looks, but at least she could make him laugh.
She listened as he talked about his mutation experience and she then described hers. As she was speaking to him, she began to shift into her butterfly form."The first thing that started to happen was that this design of wings began to form on my back. It looked like I had a tattoo at 12. And I used to get picked on a lot because I wasn't very rich and had clothes from thrift stores to wear. Kids used to chase me home after school and one day I was running away and then I just changed and no one knew where I went. I didn't even know what happened to me. I only understood after I saw my reflection in a window."
Butterfly began to flutter around him and around his face and then rested on his lap. "And this is why I love biology so much. It really awoke my passion when I saw what I could do. I wanted to learn all the diverse and complex topics that biology could teach me. It was amazing to me."

Chloe calmed down as Ty told her about how the shady kinda stuff he encountered and how he had nightmares about it. She shifted her eyes to the ground. She didn't mean to bring such horrible memories back for him and to hurt him. She just wanted to know why he ran away and why he left her and didn't tell her anything.
Chloe looks into his eyes and says, "I"m sorry, Ty. I didn't mean to hurt you. I just wanted...needed...to know what happened. I was scared and I wanna understand. Sometimes people treat me like a kid. I'm glad you shared some of it with me. And now it makes me understand now why I need to be careful with Lori. I didn't realize that she was that horrible of a person. I'm glad you're safe and that you're with me now."
She hugged her brother tightly and kissed his cheek. "I'm never gonna leave you. I'll stay with you and comfort you when you have those nightmares and we'll find a way to get back at Lori for what she's done and for wanting to hurt you. I won't let that happen. I'll kill her before I let her get even remotely close to you. So what can we do to expose Lori or get back at her? What else do you know about her?"

Chloe nodded her head at him as he told her about not having any research at the moment, but her face lit up when he talked about teaching and volunteering at the aquarium. "I love biology. There are so many topics that can be learned about and its so diverse as to all the research that can be done. And I love aquariums. I'd love to go with you sometime. I always wondered what it would be like to swim with the fish and creatures in the aquariums."
She smiled as she decided to try something, somewhat affectionate. She reached over to Caleb and put her hand on top of his and squeezed slightly. She then looked to his face for acceptance or discomfort to know whether she should keep her hand there or not. She decided to move on to the rest of the conversation and tell him more about her.
"I like to read, obviously. But I love more than just educational journals. I like mystery novels and fiction and older classic novels as well. I love more rock styled music, but I also love classical and more modern instrumental music also. I think that guys who are intelligent are incredibly sexy and I'd a really laid back kinda girl. I like to go out on the town every now and then, but I also like to just relax at home and watch movies and eat popcorn. I like cuddling and going for swims whenever I can. I'm not really into very sappy romancey movies, but I will watch one on the rare occasion when my hormones make me somewhat emotional. I have a brother that I didn't even know I had until recently and my dad left me when I was little and then later when I was a teenager, my mom left me. The only thing I have left of hers is my necklace. I didn't even know I was a mutant until I was about 12. Would you like to see what kind of mutant I am?"

Chloe smiled and nodded her head. She was completely serious about their after dinner entertainment. She already liked the guy when she read his dissertation, but the like was falling in depth more now that she got to see him and as she would get to know him. She liked simple. She had had a complicated relationship with Paige and it didn't exactly make it easy for her. Maybe Caleb would take love as actual love and no overthink everything about why she would do things for him. That is if he decides to actually call her back for another date and she doesn't ruin the one she's on. He was more than just a fish mutant to her. She was really liking his brain and thought that if he really was all that he seemed to be, then she knew that she would fall in love with him.
"We can sit here and talk for a while and find out more about each other, just you and me. Then we can go to a more social place and have some fun and maybe find some food along the way. I'm not a hard woman to please. I like simple. So what kind of research are you working on now? I'm kind of a big nerd despite my appearances. I love reading science journals and keeping updated on the latest breakthroughs. And a bit more of a personal question if I may ask it. What kind of affection do you like to receive or give? Do you like to be affectionate a lot or is it more of a 'I like to be affectionate only during a few occasions? And you can be as open about questions for me as well. I don't wanna be a chatterbox. I want you to learn about me too." She smiled at him and looked at him in his solid black eyes and smiled at his soul. He was a person just like anyone else. She saw him through his heart and mind, not through his outer appearance.

Chloe blushed as she heard him say she was interesting to look at and smiled as she realized that she had impressed him. Chloe was a nerd and loved to read new science breakthroughs and innovations being made so she was constantly keeping up with new techniques and topics. To be honest, she was quite excited to maybe see some of his other research and to learn marine biology from him as well.
She sat next to him on the park bench and laughed as he says not to call him dinner. She bit her lip subtly and smirks as she says to him, "I wouldn't call you dinner, but maybe I would call you my after dinner sweets, if you'll let me. But we're on a date, so I'd really like to know you better and find out what you'd like to do on this date that would make your night worth while."

Chloe was walking around the park looking for where her date would be sitting. Once she spotted him, she was walking up in the direction behind Dr. Fishman and saw that he was glancing over her profile. She wondered what he thought of her and had hoped that he hadn't judged her and thought that she was too good for him. She was a bit nervous, not because of meeting someone that is mostly fish, but because she was meeting someone so intelligent and profound in his area of study.
She took some deep breaths and calmed her nerves and slowly walked up behind him quietly. She tapped him on the shoulder and said "I see you're checking out my profile. Am I really that interesting to look at? Cause I totally thought your dissertation on Evolutionary Advancement into Human Mutations was way more interesting than anything I have on my profile. I guess I don't necessarily have to introduce myself now, do I? Though should I call you Dr. Fishman or is Caleb alright?"

Chloe let go of Ty after their hug and pulled out her pack of smokes and lit one up. She puffed on it and laughed as Ty mentioned becoming a recreational drinker now. She stood there thinking and got kinda mad that Ty wouldn't share these things with her. He at least owed her that. Not some sugar coated BS that you tell someone to get them off your back or just brush them off. She was his sister. She deserved more than that.
"I knew it was you, but I was hoping my mind wasn't playing tricks on me or something. I know Lori Faust is up to something, but I don't know what just yet. She seemed kinda suspicious to me too and I've just been kinda tagging along and watching until I can figure her out. I know she has something planned for you or did considering she seemed interested in you and how I know you're my brother and that you were gone. Though I don't understand why you can't tell me anything to help me understand what Lori is up to. Or why you can't tell me what happened with you when you disappeared? You're right about us having a lot to talk about and it's gonna start with how you got your *** into that mess and you're gonna tell me things I wanna know and not try and hide stuff from me. I had to do a lot of growing up when you left and I'm not a kid anymore. I'm an adult. I can handle it. It's not like I haven't sorta delved into some shady stuff before either."

Chloe held him close as he hugged her. She sobbed into his chest as he comforted her and began to quiet down. She had just missed him so much and she thought he was dead. She had tried to hold on the hope that he was alive, but many days she wondered if she would have stumbled upon his dead body somewhere as she was out looking for him.
"I thought you were dead. I missed you so much and I didn't know what to do without you. I looked for you and tried to contact you. It tried to see if there was any way you could have contacted me. I slept at your place for days, hoping that you would come back soon. I got so frustrated I started smoking and I felt like giving up and just not giving a **** anymore." She hugged him harder and buried her face into his chest. A muffled "I love you." came from her mouth as she closed her eyes and kept telling her brain that he was really here. That he was alive and that she wasn't dreaming. She took a deep breath in and smelled Ty. She missed the way he smelled. The way he always comforted her and protected her. She wouldn't have to be tough anymore. She could just be the little sister again.
Well, at least for a while. Eventually she'd wanna feel like an adult again.

Chloe looked at Lori funny as she shhh-ed the cabbie. She was wondering in her head what Lori was up to, but it was when they pulled up to a very old toy store and saw Lori's excited reaction, Chloe realized that she was totally nuts and may be using this as a means to hide something. But Chloe played along with her and smiled at her and told her that she was indeed very lame, but that she would go with her inside the toy story.
Chloe never really got to go to places like that as a child. They never had the money and so there was no reason for her to go inside and look around and tease herself with toys and things she couldn't have. She hid back her excitement from Lori because she didn't want it to take over her mind and get caught in a trap. Lori said herself that she wasn't exempt from wanting something if she was going to buy something for someone.
Hiding back her excitement was hard and she decided that she would let Lori see some of it, but would be wary in case she tried anything. Chloe stepped out the car and started walking toward the store. "Hurry up. I wanna see this piano and find books and robots."
Butterfly looked over at Panu when he spoke to her and realized that he was back. She quietly pulled the page he had of butterflies back on screen and close the other window. She was slightly scared, but didn't show any of it on her face. She realized that she needed to find a way to put the boy at ease that she was not a threat to him. Maybe if she played herself as a mutant that simply had worn herself out from fluttering and flying and needed to use him to rest, then he would relax and not alarm the guards.
She smiled at him when he asked about the butterfly. "I'm your butterfly. I'm so glad that you treated me so well and were careful with me when I landed on you. I was fluttering and flying around when I became really tired and worn out. I needed to find somewhere to land and rest and you were close by and looked safe, so I landed on your shoulder. Otherwise I probably would have dropped out of the air and been stepped on and killed. I hope that I haven't alarmed you in any way. I'm not going to hurt you. I just finally had rested up and was able to shift back. I enjoyed you talking about your friend with me and showing me pictures of butterflies and telling me about wanting to get adopted. I hope you do too. Everybody should have a family and someone that loves them."
She searched his face for understanding or some form of empathy as she kept her smile up. Maybe he would want to be friends with her. The next few moments would be crucial for her. What would Panu have in store for her?
