The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Regan’s eyes just about popped out of her head as Rebecca said she wasn’t going to be a whore anymore. She coughed as she tried to speak, her clawed hands up in front of her chest waving. “Good lord Rebecca! I have no intentions of any sort to be doing anything other then clean your cut!” Regan was now feeling very awkward in Rebecca’s presence. Regan had no idea what love or intimacy was like, but she knew enough of the lingo to put two and two together as to what Rebecca was saying. Regan rubbed the vibrant red hair on the back of her head and stared at the floor as Rebecca started to undo her pants, she was almost afraid to even look at her right now.
Still looking at the floor, Regan patted a clawed hand on the table. “Here hop up on the table, it will make it easier for me to clean your cut.” She placed a lot of emphasis on the last few words. She offered Rebecca a hand up onto the table and kept her emerald eyes lowered as she spoke about her little experience. She nodded softly and pulled out the first aid kit from under the table and flipped it open, still trying to find any excuse not to make eye contact with Rebecca right now. “Well that sounds rather traumatic, I can see why you would be a little broken up about all of that.” Regan was rather curious, but she was polite enough not to push people into feeding her curiosity, her “Father” had taught her proper manners after all.
She pulled out the saline solution, as well as some ointment and bandages. She walked over to the large sink and scrubbed her clawed hands clean of dirt so she wouldn’t end up making the cut worse in her attempt to clean it up. She dried her hands on some paper towel and then brought the roll back over with her to the table, still keeping her eyes glued to the floor.

Regan watched as the lady helped Butterfly with her directions back to the mansion. Regan always enjoyed coming up to see the lady at the desk, she was quite a nice person as well. The mansion was filled with good people and Regan was so thankful for that. It made this place special and really gave it the charm it had.
Thinking they had just about finished up here in the office for the time being, Regan gave Butterfly another warm smile as she stepped up to the desk so she was standing next to her. “So where would you like to go next? There is still a lot of mansion to see!” She giggled and waited for Butterfly to give her response.

Regan smiled as she spoke about Roxy and her time at the mansion. “Oh that was nice of him, I am sad to say I have yet to meet Sam.” She smiled and kept watching Roxy for a few more minutes before getting to the deer. She liked to watch animals play and figured that if Sara ever did need a sitter, she’d offer to watch Roxy, they could have quite a good run together she figured.
Regan stood waiting for the first section of meat to come off the stag, she was glad that Sara had finished cleaning out the innards of the stag before Regan had gotten there, she would not have been able to stomach that in her normal form. She was still at least partly human under all of that fur and that human was a dainty soul.
Nodding as Sara spoke about her hunting days, Regan half giggled as she offered her reply to the smaller game. “Yeah I’m sure I’d be alright with smaller game myself, but the saber tooth has one heck of an apatite. She needs to be satisfied or I have a hard time keeping her at bay.” She shrugged her shoulders and tried to smile and play off the embarrassment she was feeling.
Not quite sure how to answer Sara’s questions, Regan gave her shoulders a shrug. “I’ve been on my own for a month or so now. Have only had to hunt a few times, but I used to hunt a lot when I was on my own as a child.” Regan made sure not to go into when she had been picked up by Shamus, she didn’t want to get into that right now, it was after all the most embarrassing part of her life to date.

The woman smiled and handed Butterfly a sheet of paper with a list of all the teachers at the school. “Here’s a list, you can ask any of these teachers to do training with you. Just ask around, I never know how many students they are training on top of course work. I’m sure one would be happy to help you out!”
As Butterfly asked Regan for a paper and pen, she looked around and then held her clawed hands in the air. “I’m sorry Butterfly, I don’t have any on me.” The woman behind the desk quickly placed a sheet of paper and a pen on the counter in front of Butterfly and smiled at her. “Here you go Dear, I can help you with directions if you need as well.”
Regan giggled, the lady at the desk was always so helpful and always on queue when things were needed. Regan gave her a nod in thanks and smiled at Butterfly. She was happy that she was planning on coming back to stay at the mansion. She knew that Butterfly would find a home here and finally feel safe, and she would always have a friend in Regan if she needed her.

Regan kept running to the mansion as fast as her two legs could carry her. She kept a firm grip on the child as she made her way to the doors of the mansion. She wasn’t about to let this child die and she had already lost a lot of blood as it was.
Regan felt a slight squirm and felt the small hand press against her chest, the muffled words telling her to put the child down. She just clung her closer to her body for warmth, the soft fur on her arms cradled the child’s face. “It’s ok, we are almost back at the mansion, I’ll get you patched up and get you to the doctor. You’ll be alright.” She was actually thankful to see the child get a bit of strength, things would be alright.
Reaching the front doors, Regan used a free hand to swing one open and slam it shut behind her as they got into the foyer. She gently placed the child down on the floor and started stripping off her bloody coat. Once she got that off and the hat, Regan realized it was a young girl and she sighed.
She carefully rolled the girl over so that her back was facing up, resting her form on Regan’s knees. Carefully, Regan pealed back the bloody shirt to see the size of the wound, but when she tried to find it, there was just a pink mark where the wound had been. This girl had healing powers it seemed and it made Regan breath a hefty sigh of relief. She rolled the little girl back over to cradle her in her arms and brushed the stray red strands out of her face, stroking her cheek softly with the back of her fur covered hand while waiting for her to open her eyes and wake up fully.

Regan smiled and gave Rebecca a nod. “It’s nice to meet you Rebecca.” She said as she led the way to the table in the back. She looked at where she had gotten cut and gave a little sigh. “Well I don’t think your pants are going to roll up that high, I think you may have to take them down a little from the top.” She knew that was going to make the girl uncomfortable so she took her apron off of the hook by the table and handed it to her. “Here you can wrap yourself in this, I’ll be as fast as I can cleaning it up.”
Once again Regan waved a hand at Rebecca and shook her head. “Really it’s fine, I can understand.” She gave her a small smile and looked away for a moment. “Besides, like I said, I’m used to people freaking out when they see me.” Shrugging it off she just let it go like she usually did and focused her thought back on Rebecca. “So do you want to talk about it? I know I’m a stranger, but I have a good ear if you need one to listen.” She said with a smile and tapped a clawed finger on one of her feline ears. She hoped that maybe if Rebecca got some of her fears off her chest, she’d feel a little more comfortable, though she’d understand if she didn’t want to talk about personal things with a total stranger, some people were just open though.

Regan was glad to see the woman smile a real smile for once. She processed her credit card, gave her a pen to sign the receipt, and stapled her copy to her invoice. She was glad that she was happy with her service at the shop. As the little girl said goodbye, Regan stood up and waved goodbye to her. She was happy to have been able to help them and was actually looking forward to having them come by the mansion for a visit.
Finally being able to crack down on these damn sticky notes, Regan started making phone calls. She took the complaint of each customer and Googled it quickly to find out the estimated time of repair of each. She used the back of a pencil to dial the numbers on the phone as well as type on the keyboard. Claws were not great to have working a desk job. She managed to quickly get all of the repairs organized and into the computer’s calendar so that each job could be done in an efficient manner. She even assigned each mechanic to one of the jobs so that each morning she could print out the jobs and hand them to each mechanic as they came in. This way each one knew what to expect, when to expect their customer, and when they would have free time to work on other things or take walk-ins. This also let Regan know who would be available and when so that she could make sure customers were served quickly and efficiently.
As she was triumphantly removing the sticky notes off her desk and placing them into the trash, Regan heard soft footfalls coming down the stairs behind the door that Jacob had vanished behind. He emerged and was carrying a few things. She gave him a soft smile and curiously tried to peek without being too obvious. Regan gave a little gasp and placed a clawed hand to her lips as Jacob presented her with a metal keyboard that she could use more effectively and without the fear of destroying his keyboard. The cell phone made her gasp a little more, she had no idea what to say. She had never owned a cell phone before but it was quite amazing. She took it and flipped it open to examine it and was quite impressed at the craftsmanship that Jacob had but into it. She teared up a little and looked up at Jacob from her seat at the desk. “I don’t know what to say…… Thank you.”

Regan’s own vision started to blur as the smell of blood filled her pink nose. The saber tooth was just dying to come out to it’s full power and shred this girl to pieces. Hearing her words, Regan shook her head and stared at her, her long saber fangs slowly retracted back up and she let out a soft growl. Her attention was brought back to Amber as she heard another low growl and saw that she had shifted back into her dinosaur form. Regan frowned for making her feel the need to shift back in order to feel safer around her and Tses. She was quite ashamed at this point.
Still holding Tses by the throat, she lifted her off of the ground and moved her away from the tree before letting her go to fall down onto the ground beside her. She let out another low growl and then hissed out her own words. “The difference between you and I Tses is that I may look like a monster, but you, are acting like one!” She glared at her and just shook her head. “Why on earth would you provoke someone, one of your own kind for that matter, to kill you? Are you insane?” Regan turned her back to her for a moment and sighed, she felt pity for Tses, something pretty horrible must have happened to her to bring her to this point in her life. She had everything a mutant could want in order to fit in and yet she so willingly wanted to throw it all away. Turning back with a softer posture and facial expression, she sighed and crouched down in front of Tses. “What happened to you?”
Regan was genuinely curious as to what had made this girl fly off the handle like this, there was really no point to it. All mutants had a pretty simple code of ethics. You didn’t attack anyone of your own kind, even if you didn’t agree on things, unless it was necessary. This didn’t make sense, she had been kind for the most part and she tried to be friendly and the better person by just walking away, but Tses insisted on starting a fight. Regan might be mad at her, but damned if she was going to sit by and not try and help her through whatever it was that was eating her alive.
She looked back at Amber and motioned for her to come closer and help with the situation. “I’m sorry Amber, this is not how I had planned the night to go. I’m sorry things escalated to a point where you felt the need to protect yourself. Something is obviously very wrong here, maybe together we can find out, and help.” She let out another soft sigh and tried to catch Tses’s with her own. Her emerald eyes were soft and kind, not violent and feral like earlier. She even curled her long tail around the front of her and placed it on one of Tses’s hands, hoping the feeling of the soft fur might just calm her down a few notches.

Regan watched the men enter the garage and look at the vehicles. She saw Jacob wince as she touched a few of the vehicles and it made her head tilt to the side a little. She wondered what was causing him the pain, but then figured he could probably feel the needs of the cars to be repaired and maintained. She saw the hint of frustration and she smiled, he was ready to tear these cars apart.
Snapping out of her thoughts at Mariusz’s question, she looked up at him and shook her head. “I don’t know which one belongs to which person here, but I assume that they belong to the teachers and high school students here at the mansion if I were to take a guess.” She then turned back to look at Jacob and address his comment. “Well I’m sure we can inform the admitting desk of your services, maybe if the students can be given some sort of deal they would be more likely to get their cars repaired. The students all live here and go to school for free, so unless they have jobs or rich parents, I can’t see them being able to afford many repairs.” She shrugged her shoulders and looked at both men on the topic of flying. “Flying would be handy to have. I don’t have a means of transportation myself, well unless you count my hands and feet. I run wherever I need to go, but then again, I don’t go past the grounds much unless it’s into the cover of the woods.” She shrugged again and sighed softly.

Regan gave Jacob a small smile as he came out of the back, she felt bad for not having gotten as much work done as she would have liked to, but she felt the need to take care of this woman and her child in the moment. They were clearly having a rough time, it was the least she could do to comfort them and offer a small amount of hope to them in the way of the school.
She nodded to Jacob as he told her about the price sheet and the discount and started to fish around for it behind the screen. While he spoke to the woman. Regan rang up the price, added the discount, and the 7% tax. She printed off the invoice and handed it to the woman with a small smile. “The price is on the bottom of your sheet. How would you like to pay today?”
Turning her attention back to Jacob she smiled and gave him another nod, “You got it boss!” She watched him enter the locked steel door and close it behind him. She then turned her attention back to the mother to finish their business transaction and give her the little card with all of the school’s contact information on so she could set up when to come to the school with her daughter and have a grand tour.

Stifling a small giggle as she realized that although Vicente was part animal, he didn’t have the ability to keep as worm as she did. There were a few perks to being a walking fur ball after all.
“Next time we decide to play in the snow we will have to make sure you are properly dressed my friend!” She smiled a fanged grin up at him and giggled. It was the first time she had ever really said those last two words out loud, 'my friend', but she meant them with Vicente, she considered him her friend. She was excited to get to play outside with him again, he played along with her and that was a rare trait in someone and she appreciated that trait.
Following Vicente into the greenhouse, a waft of warm air passed over her. She could smell the flowers and vegetables, as well as the soil and dampness in the air. This was going to be her haven, her play of solace and joy. Plants were the one thing that Regan really liked, and she was pretty good at taking care of them. Her “Father” had built her a greenhouse when she was younger because she was always whiskers deep in a plant book. She had some experience with greenhouse work so she’d love to help out and work in here if the school would allow her to.
She tried to peek around Vicente’s large frame as she stood in the doorway, but her couldn’t get a glimpse at all. She tried getting on her tip toes to look over his shoulder, but all she saw was his shoulder. She tried to peek though by his arm, but all she saw was his arm. After a few more failed attempts she sighed and gave him a gentle push on his lower back with flat hands. “Come on already! The suspense is killing me!”

Regan’s right feline ear flicked back as she heard the hinge on the door open slightly. She knew someone was there but she wasn’t going to avert her attention from the mother and child. They needed it right now. She smiled softly as the little girl started to pet her tail softly. She started purring and stifled a giggle while looking at the mother. “Pardon me, can’t help that when I’m being pet.”
After listening to the mother speak about seeing the mansion and wanting Regan to be there for the girl’s comfort, she went a little wide eyed but nodded. “I suppose I could do that if you would like me to. I would want her first experience there to be a good one.” She smiled softly at the young girl and wiggled her tail a little in her hands to make her laugh.
Regan heard the door shut again and she knew that eyes were no longer on her but that she’d better get back to her work. Smiling softly, she ruffled the hair on the girl's head and then smiled to the mother. “I’ll get you the contact information for the school before you leave, just call them when you’d like to come by and tell them that you would like Regan to be present. They will let me know so I can be there.” Smiling softly at the girl, she slowly took her tail back from her. “Miss Kitty has to get back to work, but I’ll be right there at the desk if you need me ok?”

The woman nodded and smiled softly. “Well for power training you need to just find one of the Faculty members to take you on in training, but I’m sure that can be arranged. With your age we can just teach you what high school courses you might be missing to graduate, we don’t teach any College or University courses. As for when you are ready to move in, we always have a room available here at the mansion, so when you are ready, just bring your things and come see us at the desk here and we will assign you a room Dear.” The woman was very pleasant and smiled sweetly. “Is there anything I can help you with?”
Regan smiled widely as Butterfly was getting things set into motion, she hoped that she would find the good home and people that she had found here herself. This place was safe, this place was home, this place was all Regan could ask for and so much more.

Regan smiled and gave the little girl a small wave of her clawed fingers as she peeked out from the ball on her mother’s lap. She would wait until she was ready to talk before doing anything too drastic. She nodded at the mother’s words and smiled softly. “Yeah it tends to happen like that for most of us. Triggered a lot by emotions. I think I’m a rare case, I have been like this for as long as I can remember so I must have been born this way.” Regan sighed a little at that thought and looked back at the little girl who was now peeking out a little more. She crouched down in front of the pair and grabbed her long tail from behind her. She wiggled the end of it in front of her pink feline nose and smiled, “Do you want to hold it? It’s just like a stuffed animal.”
Looking back at the mother Regan smiled again, trying to offer some comfort to her. “Did you know that there is a school across town that is specifically for mutants? They help mutants in so many ways there. I myself live there. If you ever want to contact them I can get you their information, they are wonderful people. No commitments, just happy to answer any questions you might have.” Looking at the little girl and then back at the mother, she gave another small smile, “It might help her a lot.”

Regan nodded at the two men and started to lead them off towards the garage. She shouldn’t believe how quickly she had agreed to work for Jacob, and was starting to wonder if it was such a good idea after all. But Regan was a helpful person and she always tried to help those who needed it, so she shoved back the thought and focused on the way to the garage.
They arrived at the door, and Regan opened it with her furry hand. Walking into the large expanse of the garage, it was filled with a variety of vehicles which she was sure Jacob would like. There were also a lot of tools and yard equipment stored around the area. “Well here’s the garage, what do you think?”
