The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Devon had been right. The plant was a nice touch. Without being on the first floor it helped to provide a bit of comfort to the elemental with no solid ground beneath him. Though his interest was taken up by the other earth elemental as Devon described the torment the boy had gone through with his abilities. He could relate. It was a scary thing when you felt no control. He wanted to help the boy, though it was good at least that he had reached some peace.
"I'll make a point to seek him out. Least I can do, I know how scary it can be." Gaining control of the earth for Geo had been like learning a new part of himself. He could only imagine what it was like for the young mutant. Everyone was unique. But if anyone could help him get some control with minimal collateral damage then it was Geo. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that Devon was an elemental himself. Atmokinetic, Geo was fairly certain that meant he worked with air. Atmosphere. Safe enough bet. Scientific terms were far from his strong suit.
"That sounds like a damn good time Devon." Geo spoke whole heatedly. It was truly a fascinating subject and Geo loved to compare notes with whoever he could. "We're polar opposites too. Air and Earth. Be interesting to see how things float from the other side of the elemental spectrum." A hearty laugh escaped Geo's lips as he crossed his arms, turning to fully face Devon. His eyes lit up as a realization washed over him.
"Oh! I get it. Because you must be able to sense weather patterns right?"
The elemental's eyes narrowed as Gavin seemed to openly encourage his challenge. That wasn't what he had been expecting though he wouldn't let any of the anxious feeling seep to the surface. He kept his cool and hard exterior. Staring back at Gavin as he stripped down, exposing a surprising amount of ink for the meek man. Geo watched as the canvas was slowly revealed, showing an elaborate extent of artwork that covered the man's body. What was he trying to do? Intimidate his with Ink? Any Joe Shmoe could go and get a tattoo. All that meant was he apparently had a disposable income.
He stoked an eruption of cheering from the crowd, the thunderous sound caused the elemental to look around at the spectators. Okay. Maybe there was more going on here than he had assumed. That was when he looked back to Gavin as his twisted smile curled to reveal sharpened teeth. A chill went down Geo's spine as he realized the tattoo on his chest began to move down the ringleaders body. That was new.
The elemental gathered a piled of the sand at his feet, creeping up the lower half of his body to await orders. The ink seeped onto the ground before the man, seeming to have a mind of it's own. But then it began to take shape. Claws, a beak and mighty wings, all in turn emerging and being shaped by the ink itself until he was looking at a Griffin, standing before him under the high top. That was DEFINITELY new. It chirped and rustled it's wings before unleashing a roar at the elemental. The dirt at his feet jumped to attention, lifting him into a landslide and carrying him backwards away from the creature.
It didn't seem to take well to his retreat, flapping it's expansive wings it took flight, another roar ringing out over the crowd. The elemental had fought a lot of things in his day but mythical creatures were far from his forte. Flying over the mutant the Griffin flapped it's wings in mighty strokes unleashing bright arks of electricity that danced over Geo and the ground. Instinctively the elemental flinched though as the warmth of the electricity passed through him he shook off the reaction and turned to face the creature as it unleashed another. Pushing himself into the air Geo formed the earth around his fist, augmenting it into a golem state before bringing it to meet the jaw of the hovering creature.
The stone hit hard, bringing the creature back to the ground though it recovered quickly. It was already on it's claws before the elemental landed hard in the pile of earth that he had been manipulating. He tried to orient himself and get back to a standing position but the beast was already on him. Coming across the ground this time it opened it's beak wide as if to let out another roar though Geo was shocked to see flames licking out into a mighty flume dancing towards him. Quickly reacting Geo conjured up a wall of earth between him and the creature, watching from safety as the flames curled around his barricade. He could feel the claws of the creature on the opposite side, digging into the earth as it continued it's assault.
Making sure the wall was solid before releasing his control Geo shifted his awareness to the ground beneath the creature. Reaching out Geo gathered and hardened the material beneath the creature forming them into sharp spires before thrusting them out of the surface of the ground towards the belly of the beast.
Geo hesitantly tread down the sidewalk up to the entrance of the hospital. For a moment he hesitated by a small tree, enclosed into the ground by the cement to where only a minuscule circle of soil that nourished it. Basking in the feeling of the dirt as he took the last drag of a cigarette. He hated this part. It made his feel funny ever time. The elemental didn't do well with heights. It wasn't your run of the mill acrophobia. His physiology craved a connection with the ground and working way up in the upper floors of a building...well it wasn't comfortable. At least at first. He had to get crafty. It was amazing how some sand in the shoes and pockets could take the edge off. Of course then there was trying to convince Becca to let him bring some sand up into the would be office he had turned into a room. Not to mention the task of moving hundreds of pounds of the earthen material through a hospital. Thank god for totes.
Shaking off a bit of sand that had collected on the sleeve of his gray two piece suit Geo made his way into the entrance. The heels of his loafers clicked against the tiled floor as he followed the familiar path to the main elevators. While he waited for a chance to grab an elevator all his own the man adjusted a heavy messenger bag that was slung over his shoulder. As a rather attractive nurse walked past Geo ran a hand up his green and gold tie to adjust the knot. He had seen the lovely blond nurse several time before but so far she had avoided his advances. Holding out a hand to catch her attention with a grin on his face.
"Excuse me, miss?"
"Not in your dreams."
"Pleasure talkin' with ya." Geo grimaced slightly in the direction of a small boy who seemed to have watched the exchange while waiting for the elevator. Win some you lose some. His job in the school systems had gotten him plenty of face time with beautiful teacher, librarians and the sort. But he could never help himself around the nurses. Something about a woman working in medicine brought a special appeal to the elemental. The ding of an elevator opening brought him to the present with a start as he strode forward into a vacant elevator and pressed the button to close the door. As the mechanical doors slid shut Geo moved to the back of the elevator and closed his eyes, heaving a large sigh as the metal box lurched into it's ascent.
As he started gaining floors he felt a lurch in his stomach. He could feel the ground below him as it fell from his range and he was left, suspended above what felt like nothingness to him. Geo was never a fan of having his feet off of the ground. It was a security blanket of sorts. Nausea began to set in for a moment before he felt a beacon of hope above him. The large body of sand that he had amassed in his room. It had taken a lot to get to the point he was comfortable in the upper floors of the hospital. Probably about three times more than Becca was comfortable with anyways. As the elevator came to a stop Geo stumbled out of the box hastily into the small opening at the entrance. Several boxes and unused furniture from the hospital sat right outside the entrance, a healthy layer of dust greeted his senses. A touch he had added to deter anyone who might stumble onto their floor.
He saw Raine run across the ceiling ahead of him, seemingly searching for something. The elemental opened his mouth to speak when he felt a shift in the sand over in his room. Curious, Geo followed in the direction Zero had gone though stopped short as he came to the door that led to his makeshift room. He apparently had left the door slightly ajar, a small dusting of sand led from the room. Reaching out a hand Geo pushed open the door to reveal the horror of a small tabby kitten squatting onto a pile of dirt in the corner of his quarters. His sand filled sky high sanctuary had suddenly been turned into a litter box.
"When did we get a cat?!" Geo called out into the open halls before moving forward to lift the kitten into his arms as it scratched away at the sand. Pleasant little demon spawn it was. Looking down at the creature in his arms Geo walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. A soft mew from the ball of furry terror melted the elemental's stone heart.
"You're lucky you're wicked cute kid." He spoke softly before lifting his head to see where the kittens pursuer had gotten to. Seeing the door to the bosses office open he strode into the doorway, cradling the kitten.
Gavin seemed to be trying to intimidate the mutant but Geo was busy falling back into old mindsets. Fighting was something that drove him for many years. His time at the Order he had spent as a foot soldier. He couldn't do the fancy stuff the others could. Espionage. Cons. Corporate Fraud. But he knew how to scrap. That was what he had focused on and certainly was his strong suit. The speedster got lippy. Moving around Geo in a wide circle. Trying to disorient him by seeming like he was in more than one place. He felt Daydream leave his side, moving out of range and a smile formed on the elemental's face. Without here next to him he could really shine. He had enough material around him that he wasn't sure who really had the upper hand in the fight.
That was when the blade slid across Geo's back. It wasn't a deep cut. But it was annoying. Enough to draw blood to the mutant's face as he grew angrier. The earth he had churning around him kicked up into a flurry. Lashing and swiping out at the mirages of the speedster which blades of hardened earth passed through harmlessly. A bit of dirt worked it's way up from his feet, creeping up his spine and packing itself into the wound on his back. It was then Geo let the dirt drop around him. Instead he focused his attention on the ground around him. As far as he could reach he took hold of the material around him. Quickly as he could he broke down the dirt around him into a fine sand.
It started at the surface and then he worked his way down. The fine material of the surface getting kicked into the wind as Swift once again swooped in to swirl around the elemental at work. SNICK! Another cut across his chest but he didn't budge. His focus was elsewear. As the last of the dirt in his reach shifted to sand he began churning the sand at the deepest levels he could control. The combination of the unstable base and the sand being kicked up made a dangerous combination. SNICK! Swift ran, faster and faster, weaving and dodging around the elemental until he felt it. The sand bellow the speedsters feet sunk as Swift came to a stop.
The moment it had hold Geo reacted. Churning the ground and the sand around him he crashed them around the speedster pushing him into the ground. He stopped as the ground met the bottom of the speedsters nose. Pulling the ground in around the mutant Geo crushed into the speedsters beings, feeling the dirt push further As more and more bone broke. When the speedster lost consciousness Geo left him submerged and moved the being to the edge of the ring, dusting off his hands to turn back to Gavin. A cocky grin emblazed across his face. He didn't want to kill Swift. There was still much in the air. If it turned out this band of performers was some kind of hivemind forcing the subjects into subservience then Geo didn't want innocent mutant blood on his hands. But Gavin...Gavin was going to pay.
"What's that though? Geo kicked his ASS!" Geo yelled out to the crowd. His thick voice booming over the crowd through a snarl on his face. He turned with his arms raised in the air. Reinacting his favorite scene from Gladiator before finally his eyes came to rest in Gavin.
"Are you not entertained?" Geo asked cooley as he shifted the dirt below them back to a solid form. "So is this what you do? Send your lackeys at me until I pound them all into the ground. To afraid to fight me with your pansy red booties on?"

"All a scrap is is a game of strategy. Most of it's mental the rest is reactive. You just have to follow your instincts and pat attention." It was something he had to learn quickly. When he first started fighting he was sloppy. Irrational. There was no rhyme or reason to his attacks and the slightest thing would send him into a rage along with another slew of mistakes. But anything with enough practice became second nature. He had to learn to focus that anger into fuel, fuel for a war machine that he had to be to survive. Though it wasn't war times any more. Not yet.
"I got dragged into the fight at seventeen. Out of necessity. We didn't really have a lot of peace at that time. There was always a battlle somewhere, someone who was being wronged." He stopped for a moment looking up to Grav Bomb. Completely letting the game between them slip from his mind as he was processing a whole other battle in his mind. "Feels like things are calm since I've been back. Quiet. I don't like it though, life is conflict. If there's a calm it's normally because there's a storm on the way." But from where. Who would be fighting the battle and where would he stand? It felt like since he'd been back it was just a rush to try and figure out the playing field before the big game really started.
He welcomed the distraction of his companion going into the details of his powers. Geo was a bit obsessed when it came to the abilities of others. Mutants were fascinating and you could tell a lot about a person by how they handled themselves with their abilities. He gently caught the yo-yo and rolled it over several times in his hand. Kid was crafty. Using them as an extension of himself was a smart move.
"See these are smart." Geo said tossing a smile at Grav Bomb as he held the yo-yo in the air before continuing his examination. "Quick way to get the upper hand. I know I wouldn't have seen it coming, and the further I am from the ground the more useless I am. Crafty." When asked about improvements he pondered for a moment. He hadn't tried to much into the fabricating end of more intricate work. But it was an interesting concept. Could be a fun project to tinker with.
"Are they normally weightless too? How do you compensate without gravitational pull?"
If Geo hadn't already suspected the intentions of the eerie circus the ticket takers parting words would have been terrifying. All it showed was that it was exactly what he thought. Theatrics. Gavin was painting a picture for them, trying to get in their heads to win the game before it even started. The smell was what hit him first. Like a pet store gone awry, they might as well have wandered into stables.
"Where is everyone?"
The soft voice brought Geo's attention to the stands around them. They were vacant, this circus might as well have been abandoned had it not been for the sudden switch in music. The booming voice brought Geo into a full crouch. As the spot light closed in on them Geo held out his arms and the ground around him started to shiver in response to his call. They were ready for him, and they new Daydream was there. He had expected they would be playing into Gavin's hand. It wasn't something he was entirely unprepared for but it was hard to prepare for an ambush.
The wind whipping around them as a familiar speedster entered the playing field. A low grumble came from Geo's throat as he snarled, his anger building up in side of him as the scrawny speedster came to a stop. That was fine by him. He worked better when he was angry. He just had to be careful with Dream being about. Last thing he wanted to do was accidentally hurt her because he got pissed off at the creep. As Swift blew a kiss to Daydream before flipping Geo the bird the elemental took the liberty of answering on her behalf.
"Yeah but I won't miss next time." Venom dripped from his gravelly voice as the ground around them began to swirl, lifting off of the ground to form a partial wall around Geo and his invisible companion. He wasn't going to get the drop on the speedster twice. But Geo had the home field advantage this time. The floor of the big top, like most tent circuses, was comprised entirely of dirt. Full of material that with no doubt Geo was going to be needing very soon.
"Now I know not to maim you twinkle toes. Next time I drive a spike through that ugly mug of yours." He was regretting bringing Daydream by the minute as he slowly came to the realization that the bleachers were now filled to capacity. A diverse group of mutants thought Geo saw no sign of the girl just yet.
Through a puff of smoke Geo glared at the tent in front of them. Then tent in the distance, the omnipresent music...he didn't like it. Chills ran down Geo's spine as the walked onto the grounds. He kept mental track of where Daydream was. Turned out her astral form could get dirt stuck in the souls of her shoes as well. He had hoped he would still be able to feel the stone he had given her but it was just as invisible to him as she was.
"I should have never brought you here..." The words were not of anger, but of worry. He tried to keep his lips as still as possible as he spoke. The ticket taker had come into view. He was dressed to the part, this much was for sure. But the circus seemed to be vacant save themselves. This Gavin had a dedication to theatrics. Geo would have enjoyed it if he didn't want to introduce Gavin to a game of Vlad the Impaler. As the man asked for the price of admition Geo blinked at him for several moments. Not only did this goon intend on luring them into his house of horrors but he intended to make a buck off of them too. He concidered for a serious moment pulling the ground out from underneath the man, creating a nasty sink hole for him to have fun in.
As the elemental dug through his pockets the ticket taker seemed to be gazing rather intently. From the feel of the earth he was watched right about where Daydream had been standing. Geo's eyes bore a hole into the man's face as he glared at the man in suspicion. Could he see her? Did these circus freaks have something he didn't? It was probably nothing but when it came to the red head he didn't want to take a risk. The ground began to rise at Geo's feet as the man lifted his cane though the elemental quickly dropped his control as the cane was pointed towards the tent. He was too jumpy, nervous. The man spoke through a horrible rehearsed repertoire itched at Geo's nerves.
"Save your smoke and mirrors gimmick for someone who gives a damn 'Barber Shop'. I won't be long." Geo spat at the ground as he turned his back to the man, making sure he kept between him and Daydream as they made their way towards the tent. Geo was on edge, it was impossible to hide. Though he was focused on the way in front of him a part of his mind kept careful track of the surface of the earth. Any movement, any traps, he wanted to know immediately.
Geo followed behind Devon, happily sauntering down the halls. There were a lot of new faces, kids he'd catch here and there. One gentleman who seemed to share physiology similar to some type of elephant. It was good to be home. His heart sank with each floor as he felt the earth get further way though was pleased to find a potted plant in the room as they arrived. Dirt. It was something.
"This will do wonderfully Devon. Thank you." He said through a large sincere smile. Tossing his bag on the bed he crossed the room to the window and pulled it open. He could just barely feel the ground at the tips of his reach. "I might need to reinforce the bed some. I'm heavier than I look but I won't mess with anything to extensive." The small room felt familiar. Most of the rooms at the sanctuary had. He had depended primarily on the lodging when he was first coming to terms with his powers. Had he fallen asleep touching dirt then who knew what kind of chaos would ensue. His ears perked as Devon started talking about his interests in abilities.
"Nonsense. The arrival of mutants has been an incredible jump in evolution. I tend to be the same when it comes to my abilities." As he lifted his hand a small bit of the soil in the plant sprang to attention at his will. Slowly it floated through the air til it came to a stop just above the elemental's hands. "They used to terrify me. I would cause devastating earthquakes whenever I touched the ground. But with the years of training any bit of dirt, soil or sand might as well be an additional limb." The soil churned above his grasp before compressing into a tightly bound hardened clump of soil. It had seemed the more he came to peace with who he was the more he had gained control of the element.
"Have had a lot of training in the practical application. The Order was fairly adamant about the...efficiency of the mutants under their banner. Problem with controlling an element is the chaotic nature." He cast the clump back into the plant where it landed softly in it's home. Elemental's had always been a fascinating point to Geo. Mostly in part to him being one though he had some interesting interactions in dating women who controlled other elements that roused suspicion.

History Of Your Character Tristen was born into a family in central Massachusetts, the youngest of four siblings. They lived a happy life in a small mountain town who's biggest attraction was their state champion football team. He grew in a nurturing family. His father working from home and his mother a home maker there was rarely a moment he and his siblings went without. As soon as Tristen reached high school he was eager to join the towns football team. He loved living in the spotlight in the small community, he thrived other the attention of others. Especially girls. He enjoyed the perks of stardom and still found his heart getting himself into trouble.
One day, being a little too friendly with a teammates girlfriend, Tristen was confronted by several of the team. The fight spilled into the schools courtyard though when the odds seemed to start going against him Tristen was thrown to the ground. The resulting earthquake was very much the same. Though it was the response that different. His parents were accepting, worried for their sons well being and took care of a very scared Tristen. Whenever his skin came in contact with the ground he couldn't help the violent response the earth had to his terrified emotions. A team of gifted individuals going by the X-men came at the news of the wide spread catastrophic earthquakes and offered to help him learn control.
With the X-men Tristen found purpose in the mutant cause. He came to terms with what it meant to be mutant. Deciding to embrace what he was with pride he took on the name Geo as a sort of rebirth. He used his new found drive to improve upon himself. Taking to studies he focused on philosophy and psychology though found his calling in counseling youths.
This ultimately lead him to a new found career in the public school system. Working with high school children in hopes of making an impact on the future. Of course also using this position to keep an eye open for emerging mutants.
Roleplay Where did you learn about this site?: A birdie told me
Geo had made his way up towards the front steps of the mansion. He admired the beautiful masonry of the building. The stone had been barely touched by man made forces. Though when he had last been to the building he hadn't been refined enough in his abilities to really feel the structure itself. He heard the other elemental before he saw him. A visible wince came to his face at the sound of the old nickname. It had always rubbed him the wrong way. Turning to face the man standing in the door Geo's wince turned to a look of genuine shock.
"Jesus Frosty! How many pirates you have to kill to get that thing." His gravelly voice boomed out over the space between them as he gestured to the eye-patch that now dawned the head of his old friend. It brought a wave of realization as to how long he had really been gone. How much really must have changed in the time he had missed. As Sam charged at him a smile formed across Geo's face. Some things never change.
Geo moved forward to meet the blow to his abdomen. He took it at full force, he could take a punch. Sam knew that. Of course, Geo knew that the same was true for his old friend. Curling his hand into a fist he stepped back from the punch, using the angle to knock a fist towards Sam's jaw.
"Sam! Like you weren't ugly enough as is you old Bastard!" He spoke loudly, with a tone of aggression in his voice though kept an air of competition about it.
Geo stared at the beautiful woman through his hazel eyes. A look of determination across his face as he tried to stare at her hard enough to force reason into her. Or at least his version of reason. Giving up on the impractical approach he blinked and shoot his head through a sigh. He had to think of something to reach a conclusion to the impossible task of convincing her.
Letting he head lull into her shoulder for a moment he contemplated alternatives. He couldn't just hand deliver their main target. Walk her into what was most certainly a fight designed from the jump to have the advantage. But there was that one thing that women sometimes took too. What was that word...
"Compromise!" His head shot up and his eyes were wide. "We stash your body before we go in and you come in invisible. Under the radar." There was always the matter of where would be the best place to hide her. The Sanctuary certainly wasn't safe. That much was clear. He was starting to wonder if there was even a place she would be out of their reach. But he was sure that walking her into the belly of the beast wasn't the best option.
"They have a psychic though. They're going to play dirty, beautiful. I can't guarantee that you'll be safe walking in there with me. I don't like that." Had the Order still been in swing he could have mustered a force together with relative ease. But the odds were definitely stacked against them in this instance.
Another chuckle came from the dusty man as Grav Bomb spoke of Ohio. It was a plain place. Not even an interesting skyline to watch. Open plains and strip malls as far as the eye could see. And outside of that? Endless cornfields that fed it all.
"Not really a lot to offer there. Country life wasn't too bad but I lived in the suburbs." He shrugged slightly as he spoke. He had always preferred running off into the farm lands with his friends in his high school days. "Parents were snobby workaholic types. Cared more 'bout what the neighbors saw than their own kids. Pops wasn't a fan of mutants." An absent chuckle left his lips as he fiddled with his pool cue. He watched as his opponent took another shot. Parents was an odd thought to cross his mind. He kept them buried away most of the time. Easier that way.
"You'd probably have an easier time than most." Geo said, offering a slight smile at the younger mutant as he proposed the outcome of a fight. "See I stay grounded. You stay on my level then yeah. I'd have home field advantage. But you can get up and out of my reach. That makes it difficult." As he spoke about fighting it was clear that it was a concept he had put much thought to before. Geo was a fighter, it was how he was trained. If there was a fight to be had for the Order he was on the front lines, a deadly mutant weapon trained for war. But what was a warrior in a garden of peaceful times?
"My focus would be on getting a lock on you. Foot hold in a quick pinch. Past that some projectiles would be the way to go. I can pincushion something with stone spikes about as quick as I can scratch my nose. It's all about improvising. Changing up to adapt to what your opponent throws at you and making sure you keep the advantage."
He heard Daydream moving behind him as he finished getting dressed. A simple black sleeveless shirt slid over the words 'Homo-superior' on his back. The words felt heavier with Daydream around so he was happy to clever them back up. As he pulled his hair up into a loose bun his eyes were fixed on the words once more. 'Glad to see you kids had fun last night!' The implications disgusted him. Here he had found something special int he embrace of the beautiful woman behind him. It made him sick at the thought of them invading their private moment. Then came another sudden shriek. Geo whipped around to face the door, fists up and at the ready. Much to his relief it was only Daydream, still jumpy from the recent invasion. He offered her a weak, warm smile as he went to work on gathering the wet clothing and muddy sheets from the night before.
His eyes couldn't help but linger on her for a moment as she got ready for the day. He still could feel the magnetic pull to her though he couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness coming from her. There wasn't a bit of him that regretted the connection he had formed with her, but he knew it wasn't as simple as that. She had a girlfriend, and he wasn't her. But that didn't take away from what Geo felt, only made him feel bad for the girl it would inevitably hurt. But as Daydream spoke to him his ears perked to the sweet sound of her voice, not screaming this time. He sighed slightly, she still wanted to tag along. The thought of it made the elemental uncomfortable. Worst come to worse he had a contingency plan. An idea to help keep her safe from harm, even if he couldn't take Sinclair down. Walking over to where she sat on the edge of the bed Geo crouched in front of her. Dried dirt from his feet flaked off to the floor as he did so, finally brittle since the rain the previous night.
"Daydream. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to you." His wide eyes looked deep into hers as he spoke. His hand found it's way onto her cheek. "I don't know what this is yet. But I do know that you are something special Dreamboat...Kendra. I don't want to risk you to those..." He forced her human name through his lips to express his seriousness in the matter though lost his words in frustration. Looking at the floor for a moment he heaved a sigh and looked back to her again. Leaning forward to press his lips into hers.
The feeling was like a new drug. One that held an addiction he would happily fall into. The taste of her lips bringing back memories of the night before. Pulling away he lowered his hands onto her waist to wrap her into a half-embrace. He wasn't much one for knowing boundaries and in his own mind those had gone out the window the night before. Maybe he was overstepping, given her relationship status, but Geo was always one to act on more of an impulse.
"Unless you suddenly develop laser vision I think you'd be safer here. You are a beautiful, wonderful and amazingly talented woman. There are a thousand and one things on this earth that you could probably do better than me. But this is something I know, and I know that this probably isn't going to end pretty." It was a numbers game, and they had the numbers. The only tricks Geo had up his sleeve was his training as a lethal mutant weapon. He knew how to use his powers at a deadly level and he knew it well. He wasn't sure he could do the necessary with her around, he didn't want to scar her.

Geo had slept soundly. An unusual occurrence when he slept above ground. Of course this had much to do with the red haired woman he shared the bed with. The elemental had wrapped himself around her during the night, he was a subconscious cuddler, Though the comfort was short lived. The scream from Daydream brought Geo into a full state of terror. He was on his feet, still on the bed before Daydream had fully backed herself into the headboard of the bed.
"You have to be f***ing kidding me..."His eyes examined the lettering with terror. The words carved into the wall drew a chill of terror down his spine. They were still being watched. The two had been so caught up in one another towards the end of the last day that they had let the impending danger around them slip to the back of their minds. But the moment was over and the world had come crashing down around them. His eyes ran over it again and again, carefully examining the lettering before he turned to look at the woman curled on the bed below him. It never occurred to him to think that Daydream would have been responsible for the lettering though the sudden appearance of the
"Daydream." He stepped onto the floor, sitting back down onto the bed and pushing himself over to her. "Here just, give me this. It's okay. I've got you, they aren't getting their hands on you." He gently went to take the knife from her, wrapping his arms around her in an attempt to comfort her. His lips pressed against her forehead as he held her close. That was the last straw. He was taking care of this circus...today. The storm had broken through the night, daylight shined through the open window casting light on the morbid scene.
The elemental climbed to his feet, drawing shut to curtains so as not to draw any attention from anyone outside. He then crossed over to the wardrobe and pulled out his back pack. Digging into the dusty bag he pulled out a pair of short and promptly pulled them on before he made his way for his pants crumpled onto the floor. In the pocket he retrieved the business card that they had found on the floor after Gavin's first visit. The water from the rain seemed to have smudged the address some but Geo could still make out the details.
The very notion of the concept was enough to send the mutant radicalist into a defensive shell. He hadn't thought of himself in that way for quite some time. It had been hard to. So much of his life was based around the hatred of the species, their actions towards those he cared for. The fact that he had even felt that way was baffling to him. He didn't think it would be possible and yet here he was. She had stirred something in him. Something he had laid to rest a long time ago. But what did it mean to him. To be mutant. To be human. His mind spit out the idea as quickly as it came.
It was preposterous. He had seen and done so much that worked against the very notion. Years of training, conditioning and acts of violence in the name of his kind. They had felt like gods. Bending the very world to their will to emblazon their place in history. It was a feeling like no other. You were untouchable, better than the normal folk you passed on the street. But here he was, roused with his very mortality. Drawn back to earth by the human nature this woman seemed to resurrect. When he looked to her he was shocked to see her standing before him.
He hadn't seen the woman move, too lost in his own mental process. His hazel eyes blinked down at her as she took the cigarette from his mouth. As it touched onto her own soft pink lips Geo looked her over. Soaked to the core and just as confused as he was she had never seemed so beautiful. He noticed her shirt, clinging tightly to her flesh. Form clearly visible beneath the material, hair damp and dark against her pale colored flesh. Looking at her it didn't matter that he was confused. That the world was changing around him and he was changing himself. All that mattered was the girl. When she threw out the cigarette Geo moved forward to meet her advances. Eagerly locking his lips onto hers, savoring the feeling he had just sampled a moment before.
He wrapped his arms around her tightly, aiding in her standing on her toes and pressing further into the thralls of desire. She tasted sweet, a nice change from the bitter dirt he was used to. Her scent captivated his senses and his strong arms tightened their embrace against her pale skin under the back of her soaked shirt. He could feel the moisture seeping into his bare chest, driving his abilities further way but he did not care. There was only him and her. The rest of the world was quiet. The wind blew in through the window, blowing both of their hair out of place and into their faces. Geo broke the kiss to brush back his own hair. As he ran his hand through hers he slowly ran his fingers back into her hair. He looked deeply into her eyes for a moment, simply taking in their beauty before pressing into her once more.
