The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Celeste was happy to see Devon - he was a friendly face, someone she could trust and count on. She hoped he knew the same would come from her. As they sat down, Celeste took a moment to enjoy the view. To try to cement her feelings, prepare them for the coming confessions they faced. It was going to be good to get some of the things that they have buried in their hearts.
She smiled and did a little clap, "Oh, that is great! I'm so glad to hear. We are doing some really great work." She agreed. Of course, she had been fairly busy preparing for college over the past month. She had went a little overboard in preparation, which didn't really surprise her. She had even already written a 5 page paper that was due in about a month. With the financial aid package, she actually could take a little bit of a break from work and just... Relax. It was a strange feeling, but a good one. She had planned to use that free time to assist Haven and pursue responsibilities in the group.
She smiled, nearly blushing at his compliment. "Well, if it wasn't for you and Nate, and the Mansion, I... I don't know where I'd be, honestly." She tossed him another smile, "You're someone I have admired from the beginning and to be your friend is just awesome."
She grinned and laughed. Remembering her first time meeting Devon, she had snuck into the opening class to see his speech and luckily was able to actually talk with him about those things. "I am loving it! My dorm is officially perfect, my roommate is fairly good, and all my classes are great. It's really turning out good."
She gave him a devilish grin as she moved into the apartment complex. They would see if he could handle it - Seleste wasn't so sure. Not everyone had her kinks, stamina, or... Desire. She wasn't even sure how she managed to have so much of it bundled up inside her, anyways.
It wouldn't be long before she'd know though. Only a few seconds after they got into the apartment, Sinclaire was already wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into a passionate, wild kiss. He was even already unzipping her dress.
She liked it. There was no games and they were going straight into it. She jumped onto the kitchen counter top, wrapping her legs around his torso as she let her hands glide under his shirt and over his body. She pulled him closer in as they kissed. It might've made it a bit harder for him to get her out of her dress, but she didn't mind making him fight a little for what he wanted.
Celeste couldn't wait for Jude to get her to dorm. She had finally finished setting up her half of her dorm room to her liking and while it wasn't much, she still loved every bit of it. She had to wonder if Jude would like it - maybe not, but the only important thing he liked in the room was her, anyways.
Her dorm mate, Janessa, was out doing... Something. Celeste wasn't really sure, but she didn't really care. She had the dorm to herself all evening (and night.) She was sure it was the first time she'd have a night by herself since she lived with her old roommate. Celeste and Janessa were getting along, which was the important thing. Celeste biggest fear of college had been having a nightmare roommate, and luckily, that nightmare wasn't coming true. At least, not yet.
In either case, Celeste had finished putting away her things. Her next big goal was to get ready. She chose to wear dark blue skinny jeans, a pink rose colored shirt with dark red dots, and a light brown jacket. Her hair rested in a messy bun, as usual.
She checked her phone and still not seeing a text, she decided to head towards the entrance of the dorm. He wouldn't be able to get into the building without her - the dorm had security measures in place to keep ~shady~ people out.
She plucked herself down in a chair, waiting anxiously for him to show up. She was more than excited to finally see him - particularly since the past couple months were extremely busy with her preparing for college, working to save some more money, and finishing high school.
Seleste leaned on him, enjoying his warmth. She felt his manliness, his strength from right here and there. She had to hold herself together just a little bit longer, though, and then she could. She was almost at the point where they could really enjoy their night.
She nodded at his question and listened intently as he spoke. Huh, no wonder he was such a good soldier. He couldn't feel anything. That meant he wouldn't be able to feel what she could give him - pretty disappointing. For him, anyways. She did have to wonder what kind of lover he was - not able to feel himself, how could he make her feel good?
She unlocked her door, stopping as he asked her if it was going to be a problem. She gave him a devilish grin, "So long as you make me feel good, I don't care." She said it softly, nearly whispering it. She moved up towards his lips, almost about to kiss him. Instead, though, she backed off and opened the door to a very modern, (and expensive) looking 1 bedroom apartment. She smiled as she led him inside, "How do you like?"
She said as she started letting the dress on her right shoulder begin to fall off.
Seleste was ready. The alcohol was setting in full force. He had already shown her he had money (maybe she could get some of his bucks before she kicked him out in the morning. Or when she was done with him, either or - whichever happened first, really. In either case, she knew he had stamina and strength. Both of those skills were what she needed this night.
She walked him towards her apartment. She made sure her body kept rubbing against his. She was curious about one thing - did he not feel that chair? "Did you feel the chair hit you? You're full of muscle but I think you should be able to feel it, still." She let her head trace his arm as they walked as she talked. She winked a little.
She laughed at his joke, "Don't worry... By the time I'm done with you tonight, you'll be wishing for an easy guy like him. I'm an... Expert, unlike him." She winked as they went into the apartment complex and up towards the apartment door.
Celeste couldn't believe what a wild ride her time in New York had been. She had been through the ringer but here it all came back. She was happy, she was happy being with Jude. Life was turning out good - better than she expected.
She took a deep breath, trying to process the kiss they just had. The feelings Jude gave her were... Amazing. Celeste couldn't even begin to describe the butterflies that went through her.
She smiled as he said he liked it - then he gave her a quick kiss. She gasped a little, the kiss sending waves down her again. She hoped she never got used to that feeling. "I like this too, Jude, so much." She gave a soft smile, "Definitely need to make this habit."
The Ferris Wheel was going down along with the sun. Celeste wasn't sure if there was a better day in her life.
She grinned, still beside his ear, "We'll see how well you hold up." She chuckled, but he was already right in front of her - the smell of bourbon and tequila on his mouth as he breathed in front of her. She held back, even though her primal instincts told her to pounce. They had plenty of time, at least. They were still in the bar, after all.
She turned to leave with him. It was time. She liked that - he was to the point. Her expectations of him kept improving. When she saw the other guy tried to him with a chair, he didn't flinch - he didn't even see it. Did he feel it? She knew something was up there. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she knew something was up.
Needless to say, he was right about being in the army/special ops or whatever it was. He took the guy down without a flinch. He even winked her. It nearly made Seleste drool, watching him practically take him down without a single issue. She took a deep breath, feeling herself get off. This was the kind of man she wanted in her bed. All the time, every night.
She nodded and motioned for him to leave the place, "My place is just a block down the street. We can go there." She smiled, "We'll see how warm you can get."
She grinned as she let one of her fingers twirl around the top of the shot glass. She scanned his face as she did so, looking at every line. What was his story? She may not care, but she was curious. It was the history, the mystery of it all that fascinated her. Maybe she could peel him like an onion this night. Too bad he didn't seem like he'd drink more.
She grinned so bad as he took her bait. He didn't even hide it. Seleste liked a guy like that - one that didn't hide what he wanted. She smirked, leaning back. She got another reaction she was looking for out of him.
She perked a brow as he leaned in, "Oh? You think so?" She whispered back to him, leaning in as well. She whispered it right along his ears, "I'm a tough gal to please, you sure you're up for the challenge?"
She nodded as she listened. Ooh, a special forces? Maybe Spec Ops, then? That was super hot. Still sucked they moved him into... Paperwork? That was pretty vague. Not that she really cared - she didn't give a rats ass about the guy. She had already identified what she wanted from him. Hopefully, he wasn't going to be the lovey dovey want to cuddle on all night. She didn't get that vibe from him, but no one could ever really know.
She chuckled, "The pay must be great, then." And she was right. He had money. 100+ points in his pockets. When she realized he was checking her out again, she deliberately pushed her breasts a little more forward. "Beat somebodies ass, eh?" She grinned devilishly.
She chuckled and took her last shot of the night. The other ones were hitting her pretty good - she was relaxed, a little hot, and ready for what the night had to offer. "Good, good. Well, I assure you, I can give you a good time." He probably wouldn't see her again, but hey. A fun night is great.
She gave him a smirk. He was a soldier. Geoff or Winchester. She'd probably call him Geoff. Maybe she'd make a nickname up for him later. She smiled, "Oh? A soldier? Thank you for your service, it's not often I can thank a soldier up front." She winked. She leaned onto the counter top a little more. She liked soldiers. She wondered what level in the army he was - sergeant? Colonel? Hell, she didn't even know but it sounded hotter and hotter the more she thought about it.
She laughed. She motioned towards the bartender who brought them both a tequila shot. He was a cute guy. She wondered if he knew what he was getting himself into, trying to take her home. She wasn't an easy to please kinda gal. He had a lot of the check marks already checked off, but still. Luckily, she didn't want to be totally drunk when she was with him. This would probably be her last shot. Probably, at least.
She nodded as she listened, "Government worker, eh? Sounds a little boring." That wasn't as hot as an Army soldier, but he still had the body. Maybe the money, too, if he can buy her 'as many as she wanted.' She nodded, "Well... We all go different paths in life... I'm just glad I might be able to put some action back into your life." She winked.
She nodded and kind of bobbed her head a little, "Yep, you're right. Probably was a dick." There was no denying that he was a dick, to be honest. Treated his employees like sh*t, cared about no one, had a wife who had cancer... He was a pretty bad guy. None of those things were things that the cute, hunk of a guy in front of her needed to know. She took her shot and let her elbow lean on the counter top as she looked at him intrigued.
"I think you will make a great substitute," she murmurer as she looked towards his torso. A perfect one, in fact. She chuckled, "Nice to meet ya too, Mr. Winchester." She motioned for the bartender to pour her another shot, although she paused for a moment to think. "Are you going to buy me a drink?" She asked. Most guys would be - why hadn't he offered yet? She only expected to pay the first couple herself - the rest were going to be on him if he wanted her for the night.
She giggled, "You're dressed just fine... Fine, indeed." She winked. She wasn't too concerned with crappy flirting lines. There was only a couple things that mattered in this kind of situation - how he looks and his ship. The rest was all just talk. She wanted the action, not the talk. While her legs were crossed, she let them swing towards him, letting one rub against the side of his.
She licked her lips slowly, "What brings a guy like you down here?"
She eyed the man and it seemed like he might be eyeing her. Perfect, Seleste thought. Maybe she would at least get some kind of option by the end of the night. Plus, it wouldn't be some rich prick who was no fun. This guy looked like he'd enjoy a night.
She tried to read him from afar - would he be an easy conquest? Should she play a little difficult or would it matter? After debating for a few seconds, she decided she'd just wing it. If he bailed on her for whatever reason, she could easily get a different f*ck boy in this bar.
Luckily, she didn't have to move. He took a sip of his drink and was walking towards her. She took her shot. She closed her eyes, enjoying the burn as it went down her throat. She crossed her legs and asked the bartender for another shot of tequila.
She perked a brow as he sat beside her, only a slight hunger in her eyes. She shrugged, "You could say that." Yep... Considering the guy was in jail with probably several years of prison time ahead of him, definitely could presume she was stood up. She grinned a little playfully, "I'd love some company." She let her eyes clearly define his body close up. Yep. He'd be perfect. Hopefully, the main part she needs from him wouldn't be a disappointment...
"Hiroshima. Nice to meet ya, Geoffrey." Geoffrey. Like Game of Thrones. He didn't look like a Geoffrey, but whatever. She was a bit paranoid - in her line of work, no one looks like there name.
Seleste knew she had to get in on the untapped action of the MROverse. Sure, she had done all sorts of wreckage on the AV side. What she needed on this side was the same thing - after all, the Syndicate wanted to expand into the this 'uncharted' world.
Seleste had gotten a small apartment, had already gotten some connections to wealthy "patrons" and gotten in on the illegal drug trade in the area. It was turning out pretty nicely. It was even a little easier than on the AV side with no major SUPER establishments harassing their every turn.
In either case, her superiors had arranged a very formal dinner with a very rich businessman - except, that businessman actually ended up getting arrested this afternoon for insider trading. She had chosen to wear a short dress, primarily black with lighter shades of grey. Her hair mostly pulled into a small bun. With her evening free and already dressed up for the night, she decided on a local bar.
She walked into the bar, looking slightly out of place. She was confident as she walked towards the bartender, "Shot of tequila, please." She muttered as she sat down on a bar stool. She needed a shot to be this dressed up and with her entire evening plans messed up. Once settled, she scanned the bar and quickly noticed a man with an army shirt with - very nice muscles. The rest of him was nice too, it seemed.
