The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Kendra hoped he wasn't upset when she didn't want to go. It just seemed.... Rushed, and she wasn't even wearing shoes. She didn't want to meet his buddies possibly and maybe even his boss running around like some barefoot troll. Kendra was sometimes harder on herself then she needed to be. She gave him her phone number and he seemed receptive to it at least. She did want to seem like she wasn't interesting in learning more about him, but she had to get back herself.
Suddenly he was asking if she was free tomorrow morning. "Yeah!" She blurted out without a filter. Kendra was hoping to spend more time on the beach with Max. She said her goodbyes and started to walk slowly home. Home. She thought it sounded weird. The mansion was her home at least for the now it was. She didn't have any definite plans. But she did plan on staying at the mansion, learning how to control her ability and maybe have a chance to do some good in the world. Kendra was walking down the street barefoot in her pajamas in the middle of the afternoon. She didn't stop to think about how ridiculous she must've looked.
"Hey baby! You got some of that for me?" Some random New Yorker yelled out to her as she passed by. Kendra rolled her eyes and kept going. She was starting to get embarrassed and she just wanted to be invisible again.
Kendra didn't realize that someone was following her now. She made her way back to the mansion causally walking along and huddling up in her hoody. Her red short short pajamas showing lots of leg. Kendra was looking at her phone the whole way. The mansion was only a few blocks away now. The person following her waited until she moved past an alley and that's when he grabbed her. Kendra was thrown into an alley. She toppled over a few metal trash bins. Kendra turned around in a pile of trash and saw her assailant moving towards her.....

Kendra was sitting up on her side propped up by her elbow. She waited as he rummaged through his back and pulled out his phone. Kendra heard him say crap and say that he had to get going. I'm wide awake and the dream is over. Kendra thought. She couldn't hide the disappointment from her face. Her pouty pink lips turned downward in a visible frown at the news that he was leaving.
Suddenly he was smiling again and asking if she wanted to come home with him. He was sweet, but... She wasn't sure she was ready for all that. She could hardly look him in the eye she was so enamored with him. She wanted to know more about him, but she wasn't ready for that step yet. She had never taken that step with any guy before.
"I..... Should put a hitch in my get 'along." She said. Kendra looked down at the sand tucked her hair behind her ear.
Kendra stood up and brushed herself off. She had to be getting back. She had to get back to the mansion. She wasn't sure what the rules were for being away from the mansion grounds. She left without even taking her shoes. She just woke up and ran here. Kendra smiled at Max. He was sweet. She liked him, but baby steps. Kendra took his phone out of his hand and programed her phone number into it. "Give me a call when you're out of your meeting." She said coyly and handed him back the phone.
He worked for Haven? Kendra found herself constantly surprised by how little she knew about the mutant world. She had heard of Haven but didn't know a single thing about the organization. She planned on doing a few google searches on Haven when she got back.

Kendra was flabbergasted. She didn't know what to think. She only knew that now he could see her. She was standing here with him in the flesh. There was no hiding now. Kendra's cheeks were burning. She was blushing something awful. They were lying down in the sand now.
"Don't apologize. You're full of surprises. First you take on that asshole with an knife and then that. A girl after my own heart."
Kendra couldn't keep that grin off her face. Truth was, as dumb as it sounded. Kendra had never had a boyfriend before. This wasn't her first kiss, but .... Still she didn't really know how to act in this situation. Now she was lying in the sand with Max. They were sitting there like they hadn't just been attacked. He was acting cool and collected. "They didn't hurt'cha did they?" Kendra's voice was still a bit shaky. Overhead the clouds had began to creeping in. The warmth of the sun was gone. She was starting to get chilly. Kendra slipped on her sweater. Kendra absentmindedly moved her hair to her other shoulder revealing the slender, elegant sloping curve of her neck.
Kendra wished she could stay with Max the whole day. It was the first time she had found herself really comfortable around someone instantly. Kendra looked at him a moment. He still had dried up caked on muck on his face and it made her burst out laughing. "Hold that pose." She said smiling.
Kendra leaned back and raised her camera. Without warning she took his photo. Taking a look at the photo she laughed again. He was smiling in the photo. He was covered in mud that was in his hair, caked on the side of his face and a bit on his neck. She found her eyes moving over him. What comes next? She found herself wondering. She wished she had the power of mind reading. Maybe then it wouldn't be so excruciating. She was literally waiting for him to do something. She was just following his lead at this point. Her heart was racing and she knew she had to go at some point, but she didn't want to leave. Kendra zipped up her hoody mostly just to have something to do with her hands while she lingered on this moment.
He asked if she ran all the way here that made her blush again. She thought he could be hurt or worse. She bit her lip and paused. She was still looking at his chest. For whatever reason looking him in eyes was difficult. It was intimidating, but she forced herself to lock into his gaze. Say something! She yelled at herself, but she just remained quiet.

"Hey there. Sleep well?"
Kendra shook her head as she walked up to him. Her eyes were shrink wrapped in shimmery tears of relief. Kendra broke out in a fit of laughter mixed with choked tears. Her body crashed into his and she wrapped her arms tightly around his neck. It was silly right? She just met Max today, but the thought that he could have been killed by some mutant hating humans..... It was to much for her. She had a wave of relief washing over her.
Kendra grabbed him by his arms and held him at arms length. Kendra's eyes moved over his face. He was smiling. Like he had it under control the whole time. Kendra didn't see the fight or what he did to those guys. Truth be told.... She wouldn't honestly know how to feel if she saw Max basically waterboarding a guy. Not that he didn't deserve a little punishment, but Kendra didn't like violence. She had seen a lot of violence, and sometimes it was necessary she understood that.
"You had me so worried." She said. Kendra stood on her tippy toes and leaned in. She pressed her lips against his tightly. It was impulsive, but it felt right. Kendra's arms tightened around his neck again and slowly she pulled her lips away. Settling back down on the sand she exhaled a shaky breath. Kendra's hair was hanging down in her face covering her eyes. Her hair was masking the expression on her face. she was looking down at his chest now, not daring to make eye contact. Oh god. I can't believe I just did that. Oh my god. What is he thinking?
Kendra dared to steal a glance up. She carefully brushed the hair out of her eyes. She looked at Max. She was a whirlwind of emotions and feelings. Her lip was quivering. "I'm sorry. I shouldn've...." Her voice trailed off. Her Georgia Belle accent was heaviest whenever she got excited or nervous. It was most certainly thick right now. Kendra waited with baited breath. She waited for Max to say something. Anything.

Kendra laughed. Ghost was quite the character. She was cheerful and sweet. Kendra looked at her She was always afraid of ghosts when she was a little girl, but how could you be afraid of Maya? She was just infectiously sweet and kind. It also helped that she was a bit of a goof. Kendra liked that about her. When Ghost stepped out of the way so Kendra could take a picture of a blank wall Kendra's eyebrow raised. Kendra raised her camera and took a picture of Ghost.
Kendra checked her picture and saw that she was mostly in the photo. She still looked spiritual and ethereal. She was still very pretty. Kendra couldn't exactly estimate how old she was but she had a childlike innocence about her. Ghost's body was loosely defined. But she now had a picture of her. Kendra didn't really portrait style photos, they seemed synthetic and staged. But this was a good picture.
"My favorite color is pink." She said lowering her camera. Kendra looked down the hall and remembered something about Ghost mentioning at tour of the mansion. Kendra was certain she would get to know this place like the back of her hand. She would spend countless nights dreaming walking around lonely hallways.
Kendra smiled. "You take a great photograph." She said laughing and showed Ghost the picture. "I hope you didn't mind. I like to keep photos of people I like." Maybe it was weird, but she kept pictures.
"So how about that tour?" Kendra said. As they walked Kendra began to tell Ghost about her. How she had never really fit in anywhere, she was a bit of a social outcast. That didn't matter. She wasn't an outcast here. She was slowly coming out of her shell and Kendra was comfortable around Ghost. As they walked a bit Kendra asked again about becoming and X-Man.
Kendra was a bit hesitant at first to mention it again. She had heard about the X-Men, but she knew went through much trouble to learn much about them. She was extremely curious what they did, how they helped mutants and how she could help. She would need training of course. She was a clumsy mess but she had good intentions.
"I was serious ya know? Bout joinin the X-Team." Kendra finally said. She was getting excited about the idea of helping out. Whenever she got excited her Georgia Belle accent started to slip out more and more.

Kendra heard the voice behind her and she spun around and dropped the picture. The picture hit the edge of the table and then flipped down to the floor falling face down in the plush carpet. Kendra had been startled. She was standing on the other side of the room from this new person in the room. She saw the picture floating. Way to go you can't even stay stealth when invisible. Kendra said nothing. She was going to play dumb . She didn't know who this woman was, but she seemed harmless. Then again, She couldn't see Kendra.
Kendra took a step back. She was on the other side of the rather large room. It was a mansion all of the rooms were large, but this one, there was a good bit of distance between them. Kendra noticed finally, the pizza boxes and messes strewn about the living room. She hadn't been invited to a pizza party. Finally Kendra finally spoke. Her voice projected across the room and seemed to be coming from the back corner. The back corner of the room was dark, but it was light enough to illuminate the fact that there was no one standing there. "Sorry I was just looking around the place, I'm new here."
Kendra didn't answer her question about the pizza party. She figured it was a rhetorical question by one of the teachers here and she was in trouble for being out of her room to late. She didn't know what the rules about curfew were here and honestly there should be some rules. You couldn't just have mutants with potentially dangerous powers wandering around all hours of the night getting into mischief, yet here she was. And sadly she had no way to shut her power down. Rather than freak the poor woman out Kendra explained. "I'm a dream walker. I'm not really here, only kind of...." Kendra didn't know how else to say it. She didn't even know if that would make sense to the woman.
Kendra had no idea if there were more dream walkers like her. But when she filled out the paperwork that allowed her to stay in the mansion; she remembered someone saying "Ahhh so you're a dream walker" As if they had seen one before. Kendra stayed in the back corner of the room.
Kendra wasn't a kid or a student. She had long stopped fearing the teacher as a authoritative figure, but something still made her feel like she was about to get sent to the principals office for breaking curfew. She didn't want to get the boot from the mansion when she had only just got here. Even her luck wasn't that fantastically bad, and cataclysmically awful.

Kendra finally made it back to the beach just as the three assholes were running away. As she made her way down the little pathway that led to the beach they all but knocked her down trying to get past her. "Move lady!" One of them called out. Oh no. Kendra had stopped running when she saw the ocean, but now she started to run again. She had ran the whole way here.
Kendra ran down onto the beach and found Max with his back to her. He was facing the tide. Somewhere from the time she had disappeared and the time she had got back here his shirt and hoodie came off. Kendra's eyes carefully moved over his body to see that he had no cuts. She had feared that the men were in such a hurry to get away because they stabbed him and freaked out. She was glad to see that they had just chickened out instead. Kendra was holding her hoodie in her hand. A lightweight pink zip up hoodie. She still had her camera around her neck. Her shirt and hair were still wet from where Max had splashed her. Everything that had happened effected her in her room.
It wasn't like most dreams. She wouldn't wake up with some foggy memory and vague sense of where she had been. It was like living a true life experience. She remembered everything. They say that people spent on average 32 years of their life asleep. If that's accurate. Kendra lived 32 years longer than the average person. She had 32 years more memories. 32 years of loneliness wandering around in a dream until now. "Max?"
Kendra called out from behind him. She took a step forward. Her hands still at her side. She had forgotten the fact that her tank top was wet. Not that she would have cared at this point, her mind was just worried if he was ok. She waited for him to turn around. How could building a sandcastle turn out to be so complicated?

Kendra was in the library trying to discover a way to help her understand her powers. She was a dream walker. She couldn't control it. She would go to bed and find herself in a dream, only it wasn't a dream. She would walk around the world as if she were still awake. Only she would be invisible to everyone around her. The only way someone could see her in her dream state was in a reflective surface like a mirror or a pond. It was exhausting. She could sleep ten hours and still feel like she barely slept. She just wanted to get it under control. This book might help. She flipped through another page.
Certain mutants can not control their abilities. Some mutations are physical, mental, elemental. Others may change the inflicted's appearance. There is currently no definitive cure for mutation....
It was getting late. Kendra stood up and readjusted her bag on her shoulder. She walked over to the librarian with her book. She took the time to take one final look at Leon as she readied herself to leave. "Just the one book please ma'am." Kendra said as she handed the librarian the book. She checked out her book and headed out of the library. She was tired as ever. Another night of wandering around in her dreams..... She headed up to the adult wing and pulled her key from her pocket. Sliding it into the lock she turned the latch and opened her door. Kendra set the book on the table by the door and peeled her shirt off over her head and tossed it casually on the floor.
Pulling on a new shirt, a more comfortable shirt she slipped out of her jeans and boots. Kendra put on a pair of shorts. Kendra put on a pair of running shoes. They were dirty and worn and had seen a lot of road. Kendra crawled into her bed with a sigh and slipped under the covers. She was so tired. It wouldn't take her long to fall asleep. 20 minutes later she was sleeping.
20 minutes later.....
She was asleep. Looking down at her body she took a moment to note how peaceful her body looked. She looked at the clock on the table. 9:42pm. Well I guess I might as well explore. She thought somewhat reluctantly. She would do anything to get a peaceful night's sleep and just not have to dream walk. She used to. She used to sleep and have dreams about all kinds of things and never dream walked until she turned into a teenager.
Kendra left her room and made sure that the door was closed fully before heading out into the common rooms. There were a few wandering around most have retired to their rooms for the evening. She wandered around for quiet some time. She quietly hummed a song she didn't know the words to as she looked at hanging pictures and awards locked away in trophy cases.... Nothing she hadn't seen already in her first few nights here.
She was already bored. That's when she thought she saw Leon..... She started to follow him. He wouldn't be able to see her. He wouldn't be so defensive if he didn't know she was around. Perhaps it was wrong to spy on him, but what else was she going to do? She'd just be wandering around until morning anyways trapped in a dream. Stuck in a constant state of conscious awareness. Might as well learn about the man she had practically made a fool out of herself in front of. Kendra edged her way down the hallway and followed him careful not to make a sound.
When she was filling out her paperwork to stay here at the mansion they asked her about her powers. Her mutation determined where her room was located. She figured the less dangerous mutations were kept separated from the more dangerous or uncontrollable ones. She didn't know where the dangerous mutants slept, but she mused she was about to find out.
Kendra crept around the edge of the hall and peered around the corner. She could see Leon now. What is he doing? Kendra wondered as she continued to watch him curiously. Through no fault of his own he had peeked her interest. Kendra was perhaps doing something reckless or dangerous, but she didn't care. She had to know more about him.

Kendra watched as he carefully removed his jacket. He seemed agitated still. Kendra heard him say his name was Leon. He didn't seem interested in socializing. He didn't seem much of anything except carefully examining himself. Kendra didn't know what was so important about them, she figured he was over exaggerating, but he still seemed upset about it. Kendra wasn't one to push herself onto people normally but something made her stay. Call it naivety, call it bubble headed optimism. She wanted to reach out to Leon.
Kendra might've been a bit thin skinned. His harsh sharp words were hurtful. Even the simple act of refusing the book made her feel a little slighted, but she smiled. She was ever the optimist. She rained sunshine and rainbows. So she wasn't tough, and she had no power that was going to be as intimidating as poisonous spines. He wasn't impressed. He didn't even seem curious about her at all, this random girl who seemed to be so interested in him. She thought he seemed lonely. Maybe that was the reason he was so blunt and abrupt. He probably didn't have many friends, he didn't know how to talk to people anymore. She could relate to that, she had only met a few people so far that she felt like she could connect with. She was a bit of a social outcast herself.
She wasn't shunned because she was ugly or a freak. She was shunned because she was seen as weird. She kept to herself mostly she didn't try and talk to many kids in high school. She was trying to stay under the radar because she was a mutant and most kids just labeled her as the weird girl. She emphasized with Leon.
"I thought that maybe...." There was a harsh "shhhh" from the librarian sitting behind a counter in the center of the library. She blushed a bit. She probably imagined they were making more than enough noise to be considered a disturbance. Kendra looked back at Leon once more. "I didn't mean to bother you.." Kendra rolled her eyes and moved past him with her genetics book still in her hand. She set the rest of the books on the shelf and moved over to a table to read through it again. She gave a glance back at Leon and shook her head lightly and opened her book.
Kendra wanted to reach out to him, to make a new friend. She also didn't want to be a bother. She stole another quick glance at him. He was still standing by the shelves; presumably still looking for whatever book he was looking for before she scared him half to death. Looks like i'm still a weird social loser. She thought rolling her eyes and flipping the page on her book.

Kendra watched Max flip and sail through the air. He was like a gosh darn ninja! Kendra took a step back and blinked herself off to the side. She was basically teleporting around but she called it blinking. She got out of the way in a split second and watched Max take out the much larger guys. The leader got back up and tried to lung for Max. Kendra blinked again this time right in front of the creep. She tripped him and he face planted right in front of Max. He landed at his feet.
"What the hell is going on Bobby how is he doing that?!?!"
Kendra was tempted to make herself known, but she didn't. Kendra blinked herself again over to be standing beside Max. She placed a hand on his shoulder and leaned into his ear. She whispered to him.
"Don't hurt them." She said. Her voice was soft. She knew that Max was capable of flight and he seemed more than capable of handling himself. These guys were stubborn already the other two were getting up looking more than angry. It was lucky for them that they were alone on the beach or this would have become quite the spectacle. She didn't like bullies, but she didn't want Max to lower himself to actually hurting them worse than bruising a few egos that were in desperate need of deflation.
"Who's there?" One of them called out and pulled out a knife. Kendra saw the knife...... She was about to blink again and take the knife away, but suddenly she was sitting in her bed. There was a banging at her bedroom door. Kendra was a notoriously light sleeper. Someone had banged on her door in the mansion and it woke her up. No! She cried. Kendra shot up in her bed. She was scared. Oh my god Max! She can't believe she was pulled from her dream she just left him there with three men and a knife. Kendra grabbed her jacket off the table and ripped open the door. She didn't even wait to see what the person wanted on the other side of the door. She shoved past them. "Hey I needed to ask you something!" Someone called after her. Kendra was terrified. She was hurrying down the hall.
"Please be ok!" She cried out hysterically to herself as she burst out the front door of the mansion. She was at a dead sprint now. She was running back to the beach. Only it would take her some time to get here. I hope I'm not to late!

Max charged. Kendra was horrified. The whole thing played out almost in slow motion she felt sick to her stomach. Why? Why are people like this? Kendra felt her skin get hot with anger. She saw this play out before. It always ended badly. Kendra didn't listen to Max. She didn't stand back and watch. She charged too only she couldn't be seen. Kendra ran past Max and at the three guys. She wasn't a fighter. She had never been in a fight in her life. Her teeth were showing. Her lip was curled up in a snarl.
Kendra snatched the phone out of the man's hand and chucked it in the ocean. She couldn't stand bullies. It was bullies that caused her to shrink away from the world her whole life. Bullies like her father. The phone splashed in the ocean. The picture would never see the light of day. "What the hell?" The guy cried. Kendra pulled his shirt up and over his head so that he couldn't see. His friends didn't know what to do.... Kendra shoved him down in the sand.....

Kendra was embarrassed only for a moment. Wasn't her first fall on her face. It wouldn't be her last. She was a bit of a clumsy klutz. She hoped it didn't hurt her chances on joining the team. She moved through the halls and listened to Ghost's story. She was only part time here? That made Kendra frown. But she quickly smiled again. Hearing that light chipper tone in her voice. She asked Kendra about her traveling light.
"I'm nobody. I'm just trying to get a fresh start." She said. The somber tone of her voice was quickly replaced by a lighter more cheery tone.
Kendra didn't want to be a downer to anyone. Her story was a sad one and she didn't want any tears shed for her. She came from a broken abusive home, but she didn't identify herself as a victim she didn't want to be seen as one. She lied about it. "I'm just an average girl. Nothing standout about me really, except for my mutation." When they found themselves outside room 206 Kendra unlocked the door and pushed it open. The room was quaint. There was a bed, a desk. A window that looked out on the grounds and the gate where she first met Ghost. A smile tugged at her lip. Kendra set her bag down on the bed.
"I don't have much in the way of possessions." Pun totally not intended. She didn't know if Ghost could possess people, but it wouldn't surprise her. It would be cool if she could! Kendra would set up her room later. Stepping back out into the hall she closed the door behind her and locked it. She still had her camera hanging around her neck.
"You said something about maybe doing some wedding photos?" She didn't know if Ghost meant now but Kendra was ready. She wanted to get some pictures around the mansion anyways. The architecture was beautiful, haunting almost. The stories these walls could tell. Kendra held her camera up. She didn't know why but she wanted a picture of Ghost, if she would even show up on camera that was. "Do you mind?" Kendra asked holding up her camera.

First there was a feeling spreading around her. There was a slight weightless feeling and then she was lifting off the ground. Kendra's eyes lit up. Her voice hitched in her throat and her voice cracked with excitement. "I'm flying!" She was completely amazed by it. Her power was never something that she considered amazing by any means. It was mostly just lonely. During the day she spent most of her time being ignored and blending into the background. Most people didn't really notice her. Her power just felt like an extension of that. Just one more way for her to feel isolated. Max could fly. Who wouldn't want to fly?!?!?
Kendra wasn't worried about being seen. She couldn't be seen. Anyone who noticed though, would see Max flying over the ocean. "This is amazing." Kendra said. It was more blurted out in a fit of laughter. Kendra felt her hair flying in the wind and the spray of the ocean on her toes. Her hand squeezed Max's tighter. She would have loved to get some pictures from this high but the thought never even crossed her mind. She was so utterly lost in the moment. She could only imagine what it was like. To be able to fly around at will. She always felt somewhat trapped. Growing up in an abusive home, a single father who blamed her for her mother's death. She would have loved to be able to just open her window and fly away. The best she could do was dream herself away, but she was still there. She was still in that house.
"Take me somewhere!" Kendra said still laughing. She didn't care where they went. She just didn't want to touch back down on the ground yet. She felt free, she felt safe.
Suddenly the sandcastle didn't seem so impressive. He wasn't just a normal human. He was a mutant like her. Max had an amazing power. She didn't know much about gravity or it's effects, but she was impressed. Though she was saddened. It was already well past noon. She knew her time was going to be short. She couldn't stay asleep forever. For the first time in awhile she didn't feel alone. She had met a few in the mansion that she liked. Ghost was really nice, and she had talked to a few other mutants. But she hadn't made a friend. Max, was her first real friend she had made since she came here, since she left her drunk abusive father behind. He was her first friend and her time with him was ticking away like Cinderella's time at the ball. Eventually this amazing dream was going to turn into a pumpkin and she'd wake up.
Reality would come crashing back down on her head and she'd wake up alone in her bed. She was determined to enjoy the time she had. Kendra saw in the distance a boat on the water. She didn't want Max to get spotted. "Max! Look out for the boat." She didn't know if he was open about his powers to the world, but why would he hide them? They were fantastic. She had already decided. That tomorrow night, when she went to sleep she would come back to this beach at the same time looking for Max again.

He's..... Like me? Kendra thought. Her heart was fluttering now. Her skin was hot and flush. Suddenly her mouth became dry and she could hear her pulse echoing in her eardrums. Max extended his hand. Slowly she reached out her hand to take his. She placed her hand in his. His hand was warm. Kendra allowed her fingers to slide through his lacing together. "I'm scared." She said quietly.
For a moment when he said he was like her; Kendra thought he meant that he was also a dream walker. Maybe not exactly the same, but maybe something similar. When she held something in her hand and woke up from a dream, she brought it back with her. Was he going to do something like that? Was he going to bring her back to his body? She still had some many questions. Only she didn't ask them. She just trusted him and took his hand.
Kendra swallowed hard. Her toes curled in the sand and she closed her eyes. She could hear the surf on the shore. She could hear the gulls squawking on the beach. The sound of the wind swirling around her. Kendra took a deep breathe. She had no clue what was going to happen. She was ready.
Kendra wanted to ask why he wasn't living in the mansion anymore. It would have been nice to have made a friend that she could actually see more than this one single time. Kendra was still waiting for something to happen. He couldn't see her except for her reflection, but she peeked. She opened one eye to take a peek at what was happening. She was nervous about what came next. She didn't understand how her powers worked fully, but maybe if he was like her like he said he could teach her how to control her power. Maybe he could .... Just then something started happening. Kendra gasped. What started to happen next was incredible.
