The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

((ooc Okay guys here is your opening, same as the womens. Have fun))
Upon entering this quarter of the camp One would see death. All of the grass was dead around the building, and the only form of foliage was a dying oak tree with nooses hanging from it. In the distance were two buildings, large with a like charcoal color.
The first building was the smaller of the two is where the fresh meat, gets filed in. They must give up all possession of any monetary worth, jewelry, wallets and everything. Then they are given clothes to wear, grey pants and a gray shirt which is a size that is ethie rto tight or to big. Then they had to change, change infront of Prying eyes of the guards before they are assigned to there bunks.
There were about forty bunks per room, and two people could fit on each of the three levels of bunks. Each wooden bunk was cushioned with straw and had one blanket. The latrine was in the other room, and one would have to ask permission from the bunkhouse captain, a human, to go. If one went directly out front, they would be in the roll call yard, which was a large patch of dead or dying grass. The camp inmates were required to stand there for hours, and if anyone committed a misdemeanor they would be clubbed by one of the various guards that inhabited the guard house in the front of the camp.
The men lined up on the opposite side of the main roll call area." . It also served as a public punishment space, where often times Prisoners would be punished infront of their fellow inmates by any means necessary.
As men filled into this side of camp, they concluded that this was hell.

((Okay In order to get things moving we are gonna time jump to next day.))
Since the escape the day before, it would seem that the guards were extra harsh on the prisoner's. It was if they were sensing some big uproar was going to happen. All day that day the prisoner's had to work extra hard and extra fast or being at risk of being hit.
Now it was dark and the women and Men alike were getting back to the bunks. It was about twenty minutes till lights out and the women were ether discussing or preparing for the next day.
Ruby Lupin was the last one who had entered the barracks, followed by a long lanky guard. He pulled at the fox girls tail, causing her to yelp.
"Looks like the kid has lost her guard dog. Doesn't that mean you are free game?" the male smirked as he approached the terrified Ruby, who's only defense was a spork.
"Please go away, my big sister will come and hurt you!" Ruby yelped as he stalked up to her.
"Yea right!" The male stated but before he could get anything else out another guard pulled him away from the fox girl.
Ruby was curious as to why that happened but didn't question it. She was about to go over to her bunk when a voice rose up among the various womens voices.
"What? No good night Hug?"
Ruby turned around very slowly only to see her older sister, grinning like a loon. The fox girl noticed Emerald was a bit worse for wear, with the bruises all over her arms and legs. She also saw all the cuts that covered her body, that ranged sizes. The tiny fox girl's eyes welled up with tears as she bolted over to her elder sister, hugging her.
"EMMY!" She exclaimed, hugging the older girl gently. "I thought they took you away forever!"
Emerald grinned lightly, ruffling Ruby's hair gently. "Ruby It is gonna take more than this place to kill me. Also I had a little help from a friend, which I will tell you about later."
Ruby nodded, attempting to help Emerald to her bed until the wolf girl growled at her. The Fox girl then remembered that Emerald hated being treated as if she was weak and the fox girl also knew that Emerald was too stubborn to admit she was really hurt.
"Emmy you should go to the infirmary! You got more bruises then skin! You're cuts could get infected!"
"I'm fine Ruby." The wolf girl replied, irritably
As Emerald climbed into the bed she groaned in pain and as soon as her back hit the bed she let out a sharp bark of pain.
"No you aren't" Ruby explained to the groaning wolf girl.
"Yes I am, just a few bruises."
((feel free to convince Emerald otherwise other women in the barracks. She looks like hell.))
"Look, I... I may not be an explorer, or an adventurer, or a treasure-seeker, or a gunfighter, Mr. O'Connell, but I am proud of what I am."

Seven weeks later
Pain Agony Sadness, Depression
All of these things and more were what the mutants of the camps had experienced in that amount of time. Day in and Day out it was the same, roll call, breakfast, jobs, lunch, jobs, small break, dinner, barracks and finally bed. By the time they went to the bed it was usually past 10 and they got up at two to go to work. This made the mutants tired and easier to handle, the drugs that were being put in their food helped as well.
The drugs were almost like a discouraging mechanism because if the mutants tried to use their powers while the collars were on or if they somehow came off, they would go through brief excruciating moments of head pain, nearly rendering them paralyzed. These drugs were laced in each part of the meal except for the bread and water. The meals had gotten better since the mutants had first gotten there, and sometimes they would even be meat in the soup they were given. Though, they never knew what or whom it was from.
The mutants of the X men had tried their best to stay positive in their horrible situation but it was indeed very hard. Between fights with the other members of the team as well as other inmates there was a little bit of a dog eat dog feel to the camps. However, it would seem that the Sanctuary members and the X men had formed an alliance while inside of the camp, becoming almost allies in this situation. Of course there were some that did not want to associate with the opposite faction but the rest of the mutants had managed to make amends and one time enemies started to become close friends.
A certain unity had untied all of the prisoners though, especially ones who fight for what they believed was right. As of late their had been more deaths by beatings by the guards than poor conditions in the camps and despite what the warden of the camp did he could not stop the random abuse and violence against mutants, especially against the female mutants. There had been several incidents on the women’s side of the camp in which different women, often after seeing someone killed or die in their sleep, acted out against guards in every violent way possible. These attack ranged from minor cuttings and bruises to near amputations of a horribly mutilated limb.
The camp was now filled with overzealous guards oftentimes from the church of humanity who enjoyed their tortures of each individual mutant. Many times when a mutant did not come back from their work detail it was safe to assume that they would end up as a bloodied mass upon the barracks doorstep that not even the she thing guard could clean up.
All the inmates could ask at that moment in time was, when they where going to get out of this hell. It was no doubt the only thing on their minds as the lay in their wooden barracks with floodlight pouring into the windows as well the vacant sounds of screams from the unfortunate out in the distance. This was the only time the mutants were truly free of the guards was when they were in the barracks for lights out, it was a time to plan a time to speak with one another and a time to dream about a better tomorrow.

Emerald let out a small sigh of relief when the apin subsided. She looked over at Raina, feeling that she now owed the woman something because she had saved her from pain twice. She rubbed the area of skin slightly, letting out a tiny bark of pain.
The wolf girl walked shakily over to Millie, placing her hand on Millies head.
"I am going to send someone over to watch over you. You are not to go with anyone that is not from the mansion and whenever a guard comes I want you to hide under the bunk. Do not let them see you okay? Mama Emmy will be back to get you but if anyone tells you the secret password, you are alowed to go with them."
Emerald heard one of the guard holler for her again and she kissed the little girl on the forehead and with Ruby by her side, both girls went off to thier jobs.

Emerald's eyes widened when she saw what Raina did, sure the two didn't always agree on things but still what Raina just did was risky. The wolf girl wondered whether or not the woman was in her right mind at the moment but those thoughts had evaporated once Millie came out from behind her.
Emerald was already planning on doing something to the guard to get him to leave them alone but now with Millie in the way she couldn't.
The wolf girl began growling at the guard when he picked up Millie from the ground. She bared her teeth and the fur on her tail prickled in distaste. She gently removed Millie from the guards arms and placed her down on the bunk. Emerald glared up at the guard as she rose up, a snarl escaping her lips.
"No the kid doesn't have a job, she is six years old and she doesn't need one. I will just work more to make up for whatever Millie isn't doing. She will stay in the barracks and I will go work." Emerald stated to the guard with occasional growls escaping her lips.
Ruby nodded, ears flat to her head. "I will work a bit harder so Millie won't have to do anything. I like to clean anyways so it shouldn't be that hard." She said, tail swaying back and forth.
Emerald smiled over at Ruby who smiled back. Both sisters knew how hard it was to be in a situation like this especially around Millie's age, but they wanted to make this as easy as possible for the little girl. Neither of them wanted the little girl to get hurt.
A wolfish grin crept across Emerald's face. "Besides you wouldn't want a little girl to be following us around everywhere would you? It may prevent us from working to our full potential."
Ruby rolled her eyes at Emerald for laying it on that thick but if i would get the guard to leave Millie alone she knew her big sister would do whatever it took.

Emerald caught Millie's scent before she ran to her. The wolf girl had knealed down in that time and caught her as she pounced. The wolf girl scooped the child up in her arms and held her close. Emerald stroked her silky hair, murmuring soothingly to Millie for a moment.
"Don't Worry Millie, Mama Emmy won't let anything bad happen to you. Don't be scared, the shocks will stop if you arent scared." Emerald stated in a calmming tone.
She looked over at Isabel and looked at her with a look that said 'make fun of me and die.'
Emerald stood next to the bone girl with a sigh. "They are even taking Six year olds now. I hate humans all of em' ...except for Dad,Grandma Pearl, Cousin Artemis and the guy that gives me free Shave Ice."
Ruby walked into the room, sitting on her bunk. She was scared right now and no ammount of consoling from her sister was gonna help. The fox girl stared at her little feet, watching as the guards looked at them with ethier disgust or Lust. It distrubing to her, she had been exposed to this vaguly during the labs. But the labs did not prepare her for such mass humilation like this.
Ruby noticed her tail was dirty so she began to clean it like she normally did, she smoothed down her fur and scrubbed some of the grime stains out with her hand. She was trying to keep herself occupied, so she would be far away from this place safe inside her mind.
((Anyone feel free to interupt Ruby with a guard or something. I just did this post on this account to set the overall mood of people.))

((If I seem like I'm godmodding I'm sorry I just want to move the plot forward a bit on the womens side. Technically this counts as Narration but if anyone wants me to change anything Pm me and I will consider it.
Oh and I'm sorry for any of the language you will read in my post but Emmy is kinda pissed right now. Deathstar feel free to reply when they come back to the barracks I just wanted Emerald to get that out in the open, I'm really sorry for the god modding I just figured the guards would want to move the mutant women out before they killed one another. I just need to keep the plot moving and I figured this is the easiest way to do it.)))
Upon seeing the blood from Deathstar and the angry words coming from both sides, Ruby shrunk down in her seat, scrunching up her body.
"Helix is my pet ferret." Ruby replied softly to the cat woman before whimpering a bit upon hearing Deathstar yell.
Emerald saw this and a growl escaped her lips. She was okay with Deathstar yelling but when this started to scare her little sister she snapped. No one ever made Ruby's sensitive ears hurt, no one ever made Ruby feel scared when she was around, no one.
When Deathstar escaped from the guards grip Emerald leap up from her seat and slammed the girl into the wall, pinning her there. The wolf girl's dark blue eyes were filled with burning hot anger and her teeth where bared in a snarl
"Listen shut your big ass mouth alright? Quit playing the smart assed bitch of our group because you know what I am getting so fucking sick of your shit! We are stuck here whether you like it our not, right now I could care less if the people sitting across from us were convicted serial killers! They are stuck here because they are different, just like you and just like me. I am so fucking sick of you thinking that you are the queen of Sheba all because you are some blond haired bimbo with breasts and the fact that you look more normal. Either way you are still a mutant just like the rest of us and right now I don't even consider you an X Woman because unlike you I treat my enemies like my equals especially in situations where we are nothing but dirt on these fleshbags shoes! If this is what you think a X woman is all about? Bullying people who are different then you? You are no better than the humans you piece of carrion I rather go make friends with the people who nearly killed me than even be in the same room as you, " Emerald snarled at Deathstar, grip loosening. "Stay the hell out of my way."
Emerald released the young woman and sat down next to Ruby who looked up at her eyes wide.
The guards where stunned for a moment before She-thing snapped out of her daze, glaring at her fellow guards. "What are you gawking at? Lets move these violent muties out of here and back to their barracks."
The guards on both sides of the wall took this as an order and began ushering the mutants out of the cafeteria and back to their barracks. Upon reaching the barrack Emerald walked over toward Amp and Isabel. Upon reaching them she smiled,

Jade couldn’t believe that bastard had warped her husbands good night song. She was stunned, how did he even find out about it?
Ruby was around six now and she sat at a Table tinkering with Robot parts. She was dressed in a brown dress and her hair was all matted and dirty. Ruby let out a tiny whimper when the shackle on her ankle, that chained her to the table made her bleed. The fox girl began to shiver a bit and then let out a small yip. It was freezing in the room and Ruby’s little hands where turning red from the cold.
“Keep working Electricfox.” Fusionist stated, walking into the room, looking at the trembling child with no pity.
“But…Its cold.” Ruby responded meekly, ears flat to her head. She looked up at Fusionist. “I can’t move my fingers. Maybe if you give me a blanket and some Hot coca I will work faster?”
Fusionist smirked at the child, he stepped towards her, not letting her notice the needle he had in his hand.
“Is that what your mommy used to do for you when you where cold? She gave you hot cocoa and rubbed your belly to make it all go away?” fusionist asked I a sickly sweet tone of voice. Ruby nodded slowly, causing Fusionist to smile. The man grabbed the child quickly pulling the dress upwards shoving the needle into her stomach, pushing the plunger in. He smiled when He saw Ruby’s eyes widen when the needle went in..
Ruby let out a scream, writhing about it the seat, it felt like fire was burning through her veins. Tears streamed down her face, “MAMA! MAMA! DADDY! MAKE HIM STOP! IT HURTS!”
Fusionist’s laughter echoed through the room.
Jade let out a cry of dismay, her baby, her baby girl was being torture by something she used to love doing. Jade always made her girls happy but Fusionist was just making it seem like all these things her and Vincent did where horrible and they didn’t mean anything, just pain.
Soon all three of them where sapped out of Ruby’s memory pool, the fox girl unable to take it for that long. She started to cry, curled into a tight ball as a fox, trembling. Ruby thought she was still in the labs.
“No more…my tummy hurts.” She yipped out.
As soon as she regained her bearings Jade scooped Ruby up in her arms and rocked her back and forth.
“Its Okay baby, shh he wont get you again.” Jade reassured, ready to hand Ruby to Vincent when he wanted to comfort her.
"Look, I... I may not be an explorer, or an adventurer, or a treasure-seeker, or a gunfighter, Mr. O'Connell, but I am proud of what I am."

"It is so beautiful here Vincent. Everything is so calm, serene, back to nature and down to its roots." She awed, looking at the various animals that ran around the clearing.
She kissed Vincent on the nose, smiling impishly. "You are the best husband in the world." Jade told him she was about ot continue when she saw Ducks infront of her. She barked, wiggling out of Vincents grip and turning into husky form.
The Flock of ducks began to flap away just as Jade charged into the group, barking happily. When the ducks all flew away into the nearby lake, Jade grinned running around chassing her tail.
"I love this place!" She excliamed

Jade's eyes adjusted to the light and then they widened at the scene before her. She looked around in wonder, taking a few steps foward, then looking back at Vincent. The Husky woman ran at him full force and jumped into his arms.
"Oh my god Vincent its beautiful here!" Jade exclaimed, looking at the tranquil scene. She watched the birds flitter above them and her grin only grew.

Jade blinked a few times when he showed her the blindfold. She looked at her husband as if he was absolutely insane. This whole secretive thing was something very new to Jade, she was now very flatered, a small blush crawling across her face.

Jade smiled happily following after her husband, tail wagging back and forth. She jumped on the bed and scurried beneath the covers. The husky woman shifted into human form beneath the covers and had grabbed a few clothes from her drawer. When she got back out she was fully clothed in a yellow sundress.
She looked over at her husband still a bit wet.
"Vincey, as much as I like being cold I think I may need some warming up." Jade stated with her arms outstreched.
