The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

((Okay due to Hunter's post with his love Katherine. I have been inspired to do something similar with Jade and vincent Aka The parents of Sapphire, Ruby And Emerald. I thought It would be fun to ask Hunter to play as the clumsy robotic scientest vincent because I think he would do a good job and because Its hard to write as Vincent for me.
So here we go!))
"Ho hum..." A voice sighed deeply.
This voice belonged to the recently liberated project IceHusky AKA Jade Morrian. She had been living on the Island for the past weeks and had developed a vague friendship with her roommate.
He was a quite man and she wanted to learn more about him but it was hard due to a slight awkwardness in between them. She did like him though, he seemed like a sweet guy...for a human.
Now this place Jade called home was rather large with five bedrooms, two baths, living room, an entire Island for a front and back yard and a Semi large Kitchen.
Despite this vastness of comforts and necessities Jade currently laid on the floor dark green eyes scanning a book, her orangish red hair splayed across her shoulders. She wore a dark Blue sun dress and a headband stretched across her hair.
She hadn't gotten used to living on furniture again so she preferred the cushy carpeting of the rug in the living room. Her slightly pointed ears twitched slightly when she heard someone walking into the room. She recognized the scent immediately when the person had stopped walking.
"Come to watch me read again Vincent?" She asked in a curious tone.
Vincent had finally pulled himself away form the lab. He’d been working for hours on the secretary robot, but was still failing to get it to recognise different accents. Having decided he needed a break he’d planned on coming up to relax for a little bit and unwind, before plunging back in.
Entering the living room he was stopped in his tracks by the sight of Jade lying on the rug. His heart beat began to speed up as he stared at her. In all his life he had never met anyone quite as beautiful as her. He mentally thanked Linda for bringing her here.
“Just taking a break,” he mumbled, feeling nervous just talking to her. She was so relaxed and upbeat, despite all she’d been through. He felt dwarfed by her personality and her charm, and struggled to keep his composure while talking to her.
It brought back memories of high school, were as the class geek he practically had a heart attack whenever a pretty girl smiled at him. Oh how he wished he had just a little of the suave and sophistication that his other class mates seemed to have.
Snapping back to the present he shuffled his feet in an embarrassed sort of way. “I could go somewhere else if you’d like,” he ventured feebly, “so as not to disturb you.” He mentally kicked himself, he sounded like he was trying to avoid her. While being around her was a little uncomfortable, he wanted to be with her, even if it was just sitting nearby.
Jade listened to sound of Vincent's voice becoming oddly soothed by the gentle tone he was using. In the labs she wasnt used to the gentle tone of a Male's voice, It was much more hash and urgent.
But it was strange for her how calming vincent was. He always ended up making her smile.
"No No dont go Vincent You can stay! I wouldnt Mind at all, I was just afraid you might get bored," the Husky woman replied, rolling upon her belly, looking up at Vincent with a pleadingly look. "Besides I dont mind your company at All, This place gets awfully lonely when you are by yourself."
Vincent gave a sheepish smile and took a seat. He briefly considered flipping on the TV, but that would both be rude and kill any chance at conversation. While he wasn’t exactly competent at talking to the opposite sex, he really liked Jade, and so tried to control his voice as he spoke.
“I know what you mean, robots aren’t great company, their small talk is terrible,” he gave a weak laugh at his lame joke. The secretary robot was meant to have a small talk function eventually, but there were some other bugs that he needed to workout first.
Giving himself a mental shake he reminded himself that he was up here to take a break so no more thinking about robots. At least not much more thinking about robots. Thinking about them helped calm him down a bit, as robots were much less nerve wracking to be around than a beautiful woman like Jade.
Lucky for Vincent that Jade was an easy person to humor. She giggled rather girlishly, tail thumping on the floor. She looked at him with her eyes shinning with child like glee.
"You know thats actually pretty funny. You should make jokes like that more often." Jade replied to him, her token grin strewn upon her face.
The Husky woman reached up to the coffee table and grabbed her glass of warm water. She concentrated a bit and gradually made the water colder untill a thin layer of Ice covered the rim of the glass. Jade took a large swallow, throat being cooled by the Icey water. She then put it back on the table and looked back over to Vincent.
"Would you like me to get you some Ice water?" Jade asked, laughing a little bit. "Im sure I can freeze some up for you."
Vincent relaxed a little as she laughed at his poor joke. He couldn’t help but smile at the glee in her eyes and the way her tail thumped the floor. When he had first seen her tail he had be unsure of how to take it, like when you see someone with a missing limb. However he had soon come to see that it was simply a part of her, not something that defined her.
It was similar to her freezing powers in that way. He watched with amazement as she cooled the water with her powers. Although he knew full well what she could do, he was still impressed every time she showed him what she could do. It added and exotic layer to her already intoxicating self. Her mutation was a part of what made her so beautiful to him.
He was so lost in wonder that he almost missed her question. “Hmm? Oh, yes please. Some ice water would be very nice thanks.” He stumbled a little bit over the words, but managed to keep it together. Somehow she always seemed to put him on the back foot, without even trying to.
The Husky Woman smiled and nodded softly, tail wagging slowly. She turned into her Husky form bolting to the Kitchen.
Jade turned back into her human form opening the fridge. She aimlessly swayed back and forth as she looked for the pitcher. When Jade managed to find it she poured it in a cup, freezing it slightly
She came back in, still swaying back and forth aimlessly. She really wasnt doing it on purpose its just kind of a aimless habbit. She handed it to Vincent before flopping back on the cushy floor.
Vincent just about managed to stop his jaw dropping as Jade changed into her husky form and dashed for the kitchen. Even as a husky she still looked beautiful. When she came back with the water he noticed her swaying, but didn’t comment on it as he just knew that it would come out wrong.
He mumbled his thanks as he accepted the water and took a sip. It was perfectly chilled. As he watched her flop back onto the floor it put a question in his head. “You sure you don’t want to sit on one of the sofas?” he asked, “There’s no need to keep lying on the floor.”
He inwardly winced, thinking that she may prefer lying on the floor and he just sounded stupid. But he’d said it now, and he couldn’t take it back. He took another sip of his water and tried to relax, like he’d come up here to do in the first place.
Jade smiled softly at him, her tail wagging back and forth. She knew that question would come up eventually and she figured she might as well answer.
"Well after Living on the floor for the past five years of your life You sort of get used to it...and besides for all that next to my bed this is the most comfortable thing for me to lay on." Jade replied, trying not to seem like she was trying to be rude to him.
She smiled at the memory of her first day in the house and the memory of the first time she had touch a real bed in so long. It was so Nice of Vincent to stock it full of nice fluffy pillows and soft blankets.
"Though the blankets you put on the bed for me make it a prefered place to sleep." Jade smiled
Vincent smiled as her remembered showing her the bed. She’d jumped on with such glee, rolling around in the covers before falling asleep exhausted. He’d then watched her for a while, taking her in. After several minutes he had began to realise that he was falling for the incredible woman.
Snapping back to the present he grinned and swung his feet up onto the sofa saying, “That’s ok, more room for me.” He lay down on the sofa and took a gulp of the ice cool water before setting it down on the floor next to him. “Good job I have comfy carpets instead of hard wooden floors then isn’t it?” he said with a smile.
Jade nodded, tail wagging back and forth eagerilly. SHe thought for a moment about something, biting her lip thoughtfully before a small smile crept across her face.
"Hey Vincent do you mind if I call you Vincey?" She asked curiously, tail wagging back and forth. "Or I could call you mysterious scientest man."
Jade took on giving him a nickname with rather childish endeavor. She wanted to give him something that she could use often and something that he wouldnt be embaressed of being called in public.
Vincent paused for a moment in mock serious thought. “Hmm… while mysterious scientist man has a certain ring to it, it is a bit of a mouthful, so I’m going to have to go with Vincey. Vincent sounds a bit too formal, and Vinny a bit too much like a thug. Vincey sounds just fine.”
Suddenly realising that he was rambling he gave an embarrassed smile before taking another drink of water. He could hardly believe how flustered he was, and all she’d done was give him a nickname. How could he ever hope to hold a serious conversation with the woman when she knocked him for a loop every time she spoke?
Jade laughed lightly at the thought of vincent being a thug. Her tail curled around her body lightly as the thought about it. It really was an absurb idea though.
"Vincey the thug, Oh that would be good. You would hold people up with your socket wrench and blowtorch." Jade laughed, tail wagging back and forth eagerilly
She looked at him, as if she was perhaps seeing him for the first time. He was quite cute and rather handsome with those stunning blue eyes of his. Jade had never really thought of another man like she had been thinking of Vincent. She had been used to possing men as her enemy because all the lab's scientests were men, but Vincent wasnt cynical or mad, he was sweet.
“Yes, all fear me and my gang of robots, most of which probably still have bugs in that I plan to get around to fixing at some point. Like the damned toasters.” He really should fix those, he hadn’t had toast in ages.
“So how’s life treating you then Jade?” he asked. He knew full well from Linda how it had been treating her up until recently, but hoped that she was feeling better for being away from Fusion Corp.
"Oh yes the hoodlum Vincey and his toaster Crusaders." She chuckled, looking like she was about to roll over on the floor laughing.
Jade's expression changed however when he asked about how life had been treating her. She looked over at him, with a small smile on her face, tail curling around her body a bit tighter.
"Vincey ever since I left to the Island and Came to this place this has been the best time of my life. Everything is just so beautiful here, it makes me so happy, so needless to say the surrounding are a huge improvement." Jade paused, "But its not just that...it's you. You are the first man to ever be nice to me in the past five year. Horrible things happened to me in that time, but now when Im here everything Is Just wonderfull. And I really appreciate it, your the best."
