The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Keeping on with the headache of color choosing...
How do we feel about star colors?
The Xs, for example, are in total 'blue'. Blue name, blue, star, blue 'titles' for some.
G-Mods have a green name and a red star...
Do we want to keep the stars matching to the group color? For now, I'm going to 'match' all the colors to see what people think.
Here's the old list:
X-Men- Blue name; Blue star Admin- Pink name; Purple star Kabal- Gray name; Orange star Order- Red name; Black star G-Mod- Green name; Red star Mod- Yellow name; Magenta star
Stars: Blue star- Green star- Red star- Yellow star- Teal star- Silver star- Purple star- Pink star- Orange star- Magenta star- Lime green star- Gray star- Black star- Aqua star-

Unfortunately, Hist is right. When I made this site a trillion years ago, the colors were that of the old X-Men; red, blue, and yellow. When I created the skins after that, those colors weren't really a problem because there were only two factions at the time and we didn't have them grouped in separate colors. I was the only Mod for a while... So the need to have different colors regarding memebrs, visited links, etc. wasn't an issue. We only had our titles changed to let others know what faction we were in.
After another makeover down the road, the default became the 'moveposter' skin and thus, all the colors we have now work with its theme. I suppose I could go down the list of skins and change the colors of everything...

Ok, so trial period of the blue that was suggested... nice... but... awful close to the Mod color. *throws a tantrum* THAT'S IT! I've decided.... The X-Men will now be RAINBOW! ><
*sigh* So, shall we choose a different kinda funky purple/blue for the Mod or change around the blue for the X-Men?

OOC: Some of you may know, some of you might not. Neena will be absent for a while, so do not include her as being in the room any longer. Here we will begin our training session. It's open to anyone from the X-Men, trainees, and prospectives. Tric will start the intro and then you may freely post. Seeing as this thread will be going for a while, try and keep the posts a few paragraphs so everyone doesnt have a novel each time. )

If you participated in th Haywire Plot, you are due some points. It will be decided between Mods how many because some participated more than others. Make sense? Good...
Please post your name up and which thread(s) you RPed in. This could consist of quite a few, so please name them all.
Example: Wire - KP, War Room, The Sanctuary
You'll receive a PM from a Mod or myself to tell you how many you've earned. Then decide where you are going to distribute the points and PM THAT SAME Mod back with the decision.

Now that The Order successfully 'retrieved' Jack, she'll be taken to King Phameceuticals for further testing. Dorian King plans on testing Jack's full capabilities by using her mutation against others' mutations. Thus, he is 'kidnapping' neutral mutants throughout New York to see what powers would be best for his intentions when around Haywire.
Charles Xavier has found out about Jack's, and the other mutants', kidnapping from the facility. Tricity is planning to send a couple of the X-Men to The Sanctuary in hopes of finding out more about Dorain King and The Order.
*Neutral mutants who haven't PMed me yet to be taken by The Order, let me know if you would like to participate.*

The mutant called Haywire is Jacquelyn (Jack) Guy. She is currently 13 years old and is having terrible problems with her mutation. When around humans, she causes them to go deathly ill, and when around mutants, she makes their powers go...well, incredibly haywire.
Her parents took her to doctors who began studying her in an isolated room. After some time, an unknown 'rescuer' came and released her from the labs. This rescuer has been psyching Jack out and she is now angry with the doctors and for the misunderstandings and judgement she receives from others. Unaware of the rescuer's true intentions, Jack is being used for her powerful mutation for greedy purposes.
*This plot will start out with Jack's 'escape' from the labs by her rescuer and accomplices. (Participators include: Oppressor-give me a PM, his crew, and Jack who will be controlled by Daria for now.)
Next, a mass meeting in the living room of the mansion will be held about a newspaper clipping with the escape of Jack from the labs that Tricity finds. (Participators include: Anyone living in the mansion.)
Those members who do not fall into those categories will have to be patient for now till the plot gets rolling, though you may certainly continue personal plots and a knowing of the escaped mutant by the media.*
