The Stones
A secret government department called the Mutant Experimental Programming Agency, or MEPA, is interested in a green gem that has certain powers in controlling mutants. Unbeknownst to Tricity, she had the gem for several years, hidden away in a trunk and forgotten. Her past caught up with her and some men came and forcefully took the stone at the mansion. These men were eventually found by MEPA and the stone was handed over forcefully as well.
General Whitmore, the man in charge of this secret agency, has been doing research on finding certain mutants to do the experiments on. He's stolen the records of registration information of mutants from major cities to find the specific mutations he would like to experiment with. As he had a half dozen mutants in his facilities, Whitmore began experimentation. After surgically placing a very tiny shard of the gem in the lower backs or the backs of necks on the mutants, Whitmore tried to release the power of the green gem, but nothing worked.
What General Whitmore didn't know was the stone has a partner...a red stone which is needed to activate the stone. The only mutants who knows the powers of the red stone are Tricity and Gorgon. Because of Tricity's traumatic experience when she was younger, she can not recall how the stone works. Gorgon, being obviously interested in different stones, is the one who knows the damage of what the red stone can do if activated through Whitmore and the green gem being implanted in mutants. Tricity tried to inquire about the stone a couple times to Gorgon, but she wanted nothing to do with the Head Mistress because of their rocky relationship.
So as of now, Whitmore is out to find the stone through whatever means necessary. He's inquiring dozens of mutants, threatening them in giving him information on the whereabouts of the red stone. He knows of Xavier's institutes and has visited the schools before, harassing Tricity about the stones. With no success there, he is becoming more dangerous as he greedily searches for the red stone and answers to the gems' mysteries.

*John stepped out of the van and stared in awe of the sentinels out on the front yard. He started bolting toward the others on the lawn and saw Victoria fall to the ground, the sentinel she was on began stumbling about.* "TRICITY!!" *A tree trunk suddenly came falling down toward him and he froze in fright.*
*Orion starting running across the lawn when he also saw the tree trunk falling from the sky after hitting a sentinel dead in the face. He turned back around and saw Johnathon had stiffened up, much to his demise.* "MOVE, KID!!" *Orion bolted toward John and shouldered the teen, both of them falling inches from where the tree landed. They sat up, taking deep breaths and saw the sentinel begin to teeter back and forth from the extensive damage it received.* "John, get inside. Help the others, they're probably in the Danger Room." *The young man nodded and ran across the lawn, dodging the blows from the sentinels as best as possible. Orion stood up once more, beginning to build chaos into his hand. After the black smoke engulfed his fist completely he smashed it into the ground, making the earth rock. The sentinel finally sprawled out onto the grass and Orion took the opportunity to climb the robot and use his sword to cut open the metal chestplate. He noticed whoever that purple-haired girl was, did some good damage on the sentinel, along with the clay looking guy that tossed a tree trunk at it. 'Taking out it's concussive beams was the best thing that guy could've done. It's good to see we've got some more bad asses at the school now,' he thought while slashing away at the wires inside. The sentinel started convulsing and he heard the programs inside begin to shut down.*

(OOC: To everyone: Now that the museum fight has ended, the X-Men are coming back to the mansion, thus to the fight happening on the front lawn involving the oh-so-brave residents. Therefore, adding them to the posting order would be completely insane, so we now have OPEN POSTING. This means the order is now dead and whenever you want to post, feel free to. To recap, there are three sentinels on the lawn right now. NO ONE can take down a sentinel alone, so don't write anything like it!! WOO HOO teamwork!! Arjay or/and myself may add sentinels in case the three already on the lawn are taken down before everyone involved has a chance to post. So um, KICK ASS! >.<)

*Whitmore picked up his phone and made a call from the museum.* whitmore: "Send in the bots. I'm sure those freaks have been tired out by now, hopefully a few of them dead. Report back with the information." *A sergeant received the message and confirmed it through the radios of his teammates. The few that remained in the mansion began to back out and leave the grounds as the new wave of enemies began to come from above. Tricity watched as the uniformed men retreated, picking up her radio to get a head count of the team.* "Everyone, return downstairs to the living room." *She released most of the electricity back into the mansion which in turn brought most of the lights back on. Tricity made her way through the front halls to make sure they were clear, but as she passed the front doors, something caught her eye. There was a bright light shining through the darkness of the night, with the power of a flood light nearly blinding her. It sounded like some type of plane was landing on the front yard. But to her astonishment, it was something she recognized and had hoped she would never have to see again. Tricity pressed down the radio button again.* "Um, scratch that. Everyone meet at the front hall, downstairs." *She slowly stepped out of the mansion and walked down the staircase, onto the grass.* "Christ..." *The first, three sentinels landed on the front yard and began searching the area. The red beam landed on Tricity, scanning her up and down. She could hear the beeping noise of the sentinel reading over her body.* sentinel: "Name; Delilah Rose Tipper. Codename; Tricity. Mutant class level; 4 with possible level 5. Mutation; Manipulation of electricity and lightning. Mutant has registered. Awaiting further instructions..." *Tricity crossed her arms over her chest and sighed in frustration. 'This isn't good...', she thought, hoping the others would come down soon. The three story sentinels began moving slowly across the lawn toward her. She began thinking of their history as she remembered and studied on after their first encounter.* "Flight, shoot concussive energy beams through hands, detect mutants through eyes, small explosives, high physical strength...Going hand to hand isn't going to prove the best way to defeat them." *Tricity knew her best bet was going to be to try and shut down the power in the sentinels with her mutation. 'That's gonna take a shitload of energy, though.' She moved away from the front door and slowly crossed over to the left side of the lawn, seeing as if she stood in the doorway while the others came, one concussive beam could wipe them all out in one shot. They didn't attack her. It seemed they were still sizing her up...or was it they didn't want her dead??*
(OOC: We're still sticking to the same order as always. You can control a sentinel if you want. Their powers are stated above and if you want to make them survey your charrie, that's fine. But, know that nobody in this battle is a level 5 mutant, so don't try it! lol If you wanna make the sentinels talk, just use the general information that it wanted when looking over Tric. Technically, nobody else in this battle should even be a level 4, but I know how eager everyone is to be all powerful. The only level 4s and above are not in this battle right now. You'll just have to work at it like the rest of us did! lol You can begin fighting with the sentinels in your next post if you'd like. Remember, don't be Superman...that's a different forum. (OOC: So, from here, everyone will break into your teams and have at the NPC men. They are very organized as a S.W.A.T., miliatry type would be. Two guns at least; one automatic assault rifle and a handgun. Night vision. A dagger or knife. Gas and flash bang grenades. Walkies. They're all highly trained men and they come in teams. Most of you wouldn't and shouldn't go toe-to-toe with these people, especially if they are in groups. They aren't easily taken down, so make a good fight with them! You don't have to end your fight with them in one post. We can dedicate at least two or three each to the fighting as separated groups until we all regroup once more for some surprise enemies. Here are the teams once more: Kalt & Lee to the kitchen and those surrounding hallways; Raphael & Victoria to the second floor hallways; Jaguar & Fade to the first floor hallways away from the front door; and Emerald & Axel to the library and surrounding hallways. We are still keeping the ORIGINAL order though. So kick some ass! Jaguar, you can post your charrie coming into the mansion again as everyone is gathering downstairs and preparing for what to do before breaking up into teams and rping about the fight. Emerald, you're up next.)
