The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Two Guys, a Girl, and a...Lot of Murders.(Aura/CS)
Aura froze as she heard a voice she had met only a hand full of times but knew well. "Is this the sign of your displeasure?" she asked the room, her gods stayed silent however. Shaking her head she considered weather or not this might be a trap. The Frosted one had let her go several times now but if he wanted contact with her he could have contacted Lisa. Aura smiled at the implications and looked toward the crimson shrine and shoo her head.
Heading to the entrance hall way, which was really just a long set of steps. Aura called back up. "Down here frosty, you like rabbit?" she said as she made a knife from her Aura a cut a piece of the rabbit only to check it was cooking correctly, then sat back down near the fire and waited for her company to come down
She guessed it was a good thing she had not stuck to the ritual by letter. It demanded a lot of dead human bodies and, creativity. Still that had been more a choice to keep low as had been asked of her by Lori. SHe looked over the shrines, her patron, Alpha, the lady of the wood drew her eyes the longest however. It had been she that had placed humans above their ancestor's and mutants above them, all in an endless cycle of evalution.
On this Shrine was were plant's of over a dozen species, the backdrop a silk banner in bright pink and green.
The Others were not as grand But, but banners of White, Blue, Yellow, Red, Black, Purple, Orange, and Gray. Various things lied at each shrine.
For Mai the goddess of children and Healing, were various symbols related to the healing arts mostly from around the city against the silver back drop.
Next in crimson was the Shrine devoted to the Lord of souls, Solarrus. Nothing adorned this shrine except a Sword, stabbed deep into the wooden platform and the crimson backdrop.
Alpha's followed and next to her's was her sister's shrine. Rho goddess of death. Having killed nothing for sacrifice, she instead had placed a plate of well cooked meat. The gray backround was only lit by the candels.
On the Left side was a Shrine with an orange backdrop, a bow and arrow set pinned to backdrop. Aura had never really known Delta the god of love. He had been one of the less importent god's when she lived in the woods and only now did she begin to comprehend his domain.
Next was a Purple backdropped shrine with a statue of Dragaria, Goddess of Dragons.SHe had never understood the role the goddess played in the world but she thought it had something to do with universal balince.
Next was Blue, covered in Portraits of some of the most serious weather related disastrous imaginable. The god of weather Beta as well as the embodyment of the planet itself. FOr this reason rocks coverd his shrine as well.
Last in black was The goddess of Hatred another Aura knew not to much of. Hatred had been discouraged, as her superiors had told her emotion got in the way of fighting.
The Largest Shrine was Yellow and took up most of the back Wall, Here Sat A crown and two jewel encrusted Swords. Tokain, the King of the god's able to use any of the others powers and the Final Judge.
Each shrine also had candels in matching colors and various smaller artifact. In the Middile was a raised Platform with a laptop secured to it. WHere Aura sat to try and communicate with the god's.

”It is an abandoned warehouse,” Sam said as he walked in further to the building hoping to find Aura even though Saph couldn’t feel her yet. ”Wouldn’t be surprised to find a few squatters in here cooking some garbage or something they caught for a warm meal.” he said smelling the cooking food. Sam continued to look around the building till he heard Saph’s feelings on the buildings ”Cost money and why waste money if someone wants to rent it out but I feel you… maybe later we can start a deconstruction business.” Sam said half jokingly.
His thoughts shifted back to the present and he was focused on everything around him. Saph’s body heat, the dogs, and even in the distance there was half a dozen faint lights that he could just barley sense. Due to distance or they were small rodents but it was enough for him to investigate. The further he went in the more they started to grow in intensity.
<< "Down here frosty, you like rabbit?"
Sam stopped when he heard the voice and turned to the stairway leading down it came from, ”Think she has cameras? Creepy how she knew it was me calling her.” Sam said loud enough just so Saph could hear. Looking to Saph and ”I’ll do the talking, she trusts me.” Sam said quietly again as he called out, ”No thanks Aura I had lunch today!” it wasn’t that he didn’t like rabbit… it was more of a survival food and right now he didn’t need to worry about surviving while he had a fully stocked kitchen.
Heading down the stares the lights he felt grew brighter and brighter till he figured out what they were. ‘Candles’ thought Sam as the shifted slightly under his sixth sense he also felt Aura as well and she was alone. The further and further he got down thief stairway the more he realized why she was down there. Once inside the room and out from the stairway Sam looked around the room to spot nine shrines each with some plants on them and candles. ‘Creepy’ thought Sam as he tried his best not to show it. ”Hope you don’t mind Aura but I brought a friend.” Sam said trying to smile, ”This is Saph, he promised me he was going to be on his best behavior, isn’t that right Saph?” Sam said with some authority in his voice hoping that a fight wouldn’t break out as soon as they saw each other.

The look on Saph's face clearly belayed he wasn't here for a chat, even with Sam's attempt to lighten the mood with pleasant conversation. Even so, he nodded when his team leader suggested he would be on his best behavior; It was a stiff and short nod. "Remember why we're here, Sam... She's dangerous."
As they moved into what appeared to be Aura's inner sanctum, he glanced about at what had to be some sort of pagan ritual; alters were placed about... He shook his head as if to deny the ridiculousness of the constructs; what could possibly motivate someone like her to slaughter people without remorse? Gods? Some sort of sick teachings?
Perhaps she'd been brainwashed by someone... All of that didn't really matter, though. It didn't matter if you had an excuse for senseless murder, it didn't make you any less guilty. His end goal today was to see Aura in jail or dead. He like the second one more.
As they walked into the room, Saphirus split off from Sam, walking slowly to the side to get a better angle of attack if things went south. He eyed the shrines as he went... Lots of effort went into them; this must be what she spent her time doing when she wasn't murdering people in horrendous ways.
Aura sighed and shook her head making no move to bar Saphirus path. "I was having no luck. The god's remain silent, they refuse to talk to one as unfit as myself" she said a slight tone of bitterness in her voice. SHe was but a solider, who had no right calling on the god's. "Normally a simple solider as myself would never try to commune with the divine, but their is no one else" she said sadly. Anyone she could have asked fell years ago, as she should have, but fate had a strange habit of keeping her alive.
"That aside, i somehow do not think, my frosted friend that you were....simply in the area?" She said keeping an eye on saphirus as he moved. She had little trust in this situation. Their was no way they had simply stumbled upon her, no they had to be looking, which meant the two wanted something. Still she trusted Frosty more then this other guy.
She looked at Saphirus with a gentile smile. She pointed to each shrine in turn. "Alpha the goddess of Nature, Rho the goddess of the afterlife, Mai, the Healer and Great mother, Solarrus the reaper of souls, Beta the earth father, Dragaria the goddess of the dragons, Kova he goddess of Hatred, and Delta the god of love. And the King of the Gods Tokain." she supplied helpfully. Despite her doubt belief in these god's had been hammered into her. It had been strange to realize no one else knew who they were.

Feeling the heat from the candles Sam shifted around looking at each alter for a few seconds as she mentioned their names. Sam wasn’t a religious man but he still had heard of a few different gods these however he had never heard of which was surprising to him seeing as he had traveled the world once or twice or at least his definition of traveled. Feeling Saph walking on the other side of Aura, Sam did his best not to give Saph a look. ‘If it was up to him he’d just start swinging.’ Thought Sam trying his best from having the situation go down that road.
Clearing his throat Sam took a step closer to the largest shrine turning his back to Aura, something that he wasn’t worried about even with her powers he’d be able to feel her move towards him. He was trying to show both Aura and Saph he didn’t view Aura as a threat. ”No, not really in the area. To be honest I was looking for you.” Sam said shrugging his shoulders before he turned around and looked to the next closer shrine, ”Where do these gods all come from?” Sam asked curiously trying to add a little small talk before they got down to the reason they were here.
He waited for a few seconds before he had a feeling Saph was going to jump the gun and ask if she had been on a killing spree lately. Sam cleared his throat again, ”Right, well the reason I was looking for you was because my friend here said you might have been engaging in some recent activities illegal in nature.” ‘Murder’ thought Sam as he continued, ”I just want to show my friend Saph that he is mistaken and we can be out of your hair so you can get back to dinner and,” he looked at another shrine, ”praying?” he asked not exactly sure if it was considered praying or worshiping.
