The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Sooo, came to realize that we didn't have one of these-- or if we did, I didn't notice it (I'm not that observant), so figured I'd make one. I think it'd be cool if we got some sort of "Ferals" thread going,
There is one idea that was introduced to me (which, as it involves Chase heavily, I had reservations about putting up, but I'll swallow that qualm), that involves infiltrating the Amazon's base for one reason or another.
To get into the base, they will be using a wayward Amazon for intel. (Allison has volunteered, for her own plotting purposes. She wants to get kidnapped... and by "using her for intel", I mean knocking her out, or somehow incapacitating her so Chase can knick a personal possession of hers and pretend to be her.)
I haven't quite decided what it would be that would compel them to infiltrate the Amazon base-- presuming that these ladies are powerful, it could be for supplies.
What happens in-between getting onto the base and leaving is entirely ambiguous, but the end result will be this-- there will be some sort of cosmic slip-up in which the Ferals will be forced into a hasty retreat, and Chase will (somehow) not be able to get away. He will be captured and enslaved by Amazons, by the thread's end, and yeah.
Obviously, the idea still needs some fleshing-out, to make it a little less, "This is what will happen to Chase, and I need y'all to help make it possible," so that it's more fun for the rest of you.
So yeah, that's idea one--
Any thought s on more ideas as per why they'd go in, how they'd get in, and what would prompt them to leave? I will also be linking this thread to the Tbox, and to the Amazons, to see who (if anyone) would be interested.
In the way of headcounts, this is what I was thinking:
2-4 ferals (besides Chase) possibly more, if we've got that many-- will help scrounge for supplies, if that's the route that we opt to take.
An Amazon to break-up the party, catch Chase and/or his cohort, a few more Amazons to run the Ferals out of town.
Allison
Chase
... anyone else that anyone else wants to add?
Idea Two-- some other form of thread for the Ferals that doesn't entail Chase. (So after he's kidnapped, perhaps.) This is entirely open for discussion, for I haven't had any idea on this one.
So, questions, comments, concerns, thoughts overall? I'm rather excited to get the first idea on the road (self-centered, I know... >///>) but I wanted to see if any other Ferals or Amazons would game.
I volunteer Aura to break up the party or catch chase. Aura normally keeps close to Allsion anyway. So if chase is pretending to be her, Aura likely to be close by. Aura could very well try and capture chase upon his being discovered.
You know I'm up for it already. I can nab Alli, and after a short stop to let Chase get acquainted with her, he can drop her off at the Pit. Aurion might have a short pit fight while he's there, before heading back to check on Chase.
I've been wanting to try and get Shane a bit involved with the Pit in some way as well, so I'd be pretty happy tagging along in a thread like that with you, Aurion. Seeing as I need more Feral threads too, that seems like a good way to double up.
I think there should be a more compelling reason to try and infiltrate their stronghold then supplies though. There are definitely other factions around that would be less risky to try stealing from, so there should be a good reason for it. However I don't think it necessarily needs to be Chase who wants to break in. I'm just brainstorming, but it might be interesting if one of the other Ferals wants something (possibly for selfish reasons) from inside their fortress and Chase volunteers to go, only to end up getting caught. That at least makes it a little less Chase-centric, if you are concerned about that.
I have no idea what anyone else would want from in there though.
What if they were actually interested in Koga, rather than the Amazons themselves? Trying to get him to join them or something, but they need to get close to him to do that? Assuming he's still there, which I'm not entirely sure of....

Shane-- Yeah, they don't even need to invade, so long as we can somehow get Alli and Chase to switch places. XD But I like your thinking! Any Ferals out there with selfish motivations to get into the Amazons? Chase is young, therefore guileless enough to be manipulated.
Like I said, it needs fleshing-out.
Also, Alli-- you'd have to ask 'byss, but I'm pretty sure Koga's sticking around the Amazons, because of Kait, Dahlia and Katrina, and each of their individual roles/plots/what have you. XD But that's entirely up to him, soooo *shrugs*
Anyhow, I'd be game for a different way to get people moved around. Would you be, Alli?
I'm not a feral, but I can always come up with suggestions.
A couple of excuses to have Chase infiltrate:
- Svetlana. She's a power booster and a great asset for any faction to have. You don't even need her conscious or willing, to use her boosting power for yourself. If The Ferals somehow knew the amazons had her and knew what she could do (don't know if any of the ferals has crossed threads with her before), it seems plausible for them to try and not only diminish the amazons by taking her away, but more importantly, improving their own standing with power boosting on their side. Chase could be snuck in, in principle, to find information about Sveta and maybe eventually the Ferals could try and figure out a way to snatch her, but obviously none of this will really come to pass, since all Gina needs is the basic excuse just to get Chase in the Bone Fortress.
- Territorial: I don't know which area of the maps the ferals are settled in (if they're settled, they could very well be somewhat nomadic) but if they're in an area close to the bone fortress and they see these women trampling all over their backyard to get to the town's farms, they may hold a grudge. Maybe they don't go in wanting to invade, but at least, wanting to trample THEIR backyard a bit as well. During their retreat when the Amazons defend themselves, Chase might find himself trapped and unable to escape, so he assumes Allison's looks in order not to get caught.
- Fear: OOPS! We accidentally tagged Allison! The Amazons will be on our tails if they find out, so why don't we send Chase in looking like her to keep them thinking everything's all right and once the ferals are at a safe distance, Chase can sneak out on his own. Except, of course, things don't work out that way. Shane or Aurion could do the deed with the Allison tagging, trying to hunt her or something, but someone recognizes her as an amazon and decide to pull this off to cover their tracks.
Feel free to use, tweak or discard as you see fit, I don't really mind.
I'm just going to throw this out there, if the Ferals did try to capture Muse, and succeed, he'd think it would be better just to kill her (of course that's assuming he knew what her power was).
