Kitra was in a bar. Which bar it was, well she hadn't a clue. She was drinking, a rarity for her to be completely downright honest. Cherry coke with rum was rather nice. Nor did it burn as much as she thought it would.

As she was sitting at the bar itself, it wasn't a problem for her to get a second cherry coke and rum. The bartender eyed her for a few moments before turning and getting her another. Kitra slid her money to said bartender as bartender slid her her lovely drink. Oh yes, back to why she was at a bar in the first place. Well first off she didn't want to be alone at her apartment. Secondly, she did not want to be at Sanctuary. She knew full well that the lovely Infirmary staff would latch on to her and force her to sleep.

Of course they wanted to make sure she was well rested and properly healed up. Well she had been healed by them, though they couldn't do much for blood loss. Kitra had nearly downed her second drink as her mind continued its inward musings of the past few days. Had it only been days? She shook her head and blinked in surprise as the bartender pushed a basket of fries in front of her. ""On the house Ms. Red."" Kitra nodded her thanks and pushed some money towards the man. He responded in kind by giving her another drink.

Oh yes, her lovely blood loss had been due to Zelek. Ugh, that had been a disaster in itself. Her mutation had ended up being the actual cause of her nearly bleeding to death. However if Zelek hadn't attempted to make her an entombed statue, well, she wouldn't have realized how strong her mutation really was. Kitra had been somewhat aware of how strong her powers were, just had never tested them out. She grimaced, what a way to find out, by using them on oneself by accident.

Kitra had finished her basket of fries by now and was surprised when the bartender pushed another towards her and also pushed a different drink towards her. She looked at him mildly amused. ""It's a screwdriver, give it a shot."" Kitra rolled her eyes and took a swig of it and grinned. Maybe drinking wasn't so bad after all.

Oh, the many reasons to drink.

Honestly, Rhythm didn't really have one. Well, one. She had several. Several important reasons that escaped her at the moment but she was for damn sure that one of those reasons (the main one, in fact) had to do with the female version of blue balls she had going on. What would you even call that? Ever since the Situation-With-Panties-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named (or whatever) and eying the woman who had grabbed her heart in a manner befitting of a torture device, Rhythm had found herself in a state of perpetual arousal that had refused to go away no matter how hard she worked at it.

And work at it she did.

Now exhausted and quite lonely (despite just coming from yet another mission from The Cat's Paw) and getting to spend a rather eventful (and romantic) day with a particularly beautiful specimen, Rhythm wanted nothing more then to just collapse and go to bed. But no. No, she was still burning up on the inside and nothing the thief did could sate that hunger. And even though her line of work probably should have prepared her for this kind of eventuality, Rhythm decided that enough was enough. It was time to take matters into her own hands. She didn't want to sleep with anyone, no, but she could do the next best thing; flirt and start a bar fight. Always good with stress relief right there.

Dressed in what someone would probably consider her Sunday best (she guessed, as she normally wore this type of clothing), Rhythm was off to a bar called 'The Cat's Pajamas', which would have tickled her more if she had bothered to check the name. Instead, she merely sauntered into the place and scoped out the scene. It was a tad busy, the music was pretty mellow and the women were...well, okay. In reality they were all gorgeous. Pre-Syn, Rhythm would have taken her time to admire them, but now she wanted to forget. Just for the moment, anyways, and get some relief. It wasn't everyday you met someone who occupied your mind in such a manner, and the thief had a feeling that Syn was camped out in her memories to stay.

“What'll it be?” the bartender asked, twitching his nose at Rhy's pretty-boy look. “Something soft to start ya off with, maybe?”

“Naw,” Rhythm waved off, her New Orleans accent catching the bartender off guard. “Dontcha be givin' meh any a dat weak drink, hear meh? Ehhh...” she looked over to where a particularly banging redhead was and nodded. “Gimmie whateva she's downin' like a champ. An' get her one too, hear?”

“Sure thing...”

Her order was up in no time and Rhy took that opportunity to slide up next to the redhead, elbows leaned back on the bar counter. She honestly wasn't going for a piece of tail and the woman stank of straight girl, but it was always fun to flirt with them. Besides, with her new look she was always mistaken for a boy anyways, so it rarely mattered.

“Hey dere sugha.” Rhythm winked, tilting her head in the other woman's direction. “Ya drinkin' ta numb 'er ferget?”

The bartender handed Rhythm a screwdriver and watched in amusement as she scooted towards who the bartender had named Ms. Red. As Rhythm moved towards Ms. Red he made another screwdriver for her and handed it to her.

Kitra was jarred out of her musing as yet another screwdriver was pushed her way and quite a beautiful voice interrupted her thoughts.

“Hey dere sugha.” Rhythm winked, tilting her head in the other woman's direction. “Ya drinkin' ta numb 'er ferget?”

Kitra took a swig of her new screwdriver, which emptied about half the glass in one go. "Both to be honest." She blinked and eyed her glass before eying her fries, she choose the fries this time. "Men are idiots." Kitra paused and looked at the bartender who had just replenished her fries and grinned sheepishly, "Except bartenders, who bring awesome drinks."

Kitra was now smiling wickedly, "I could asssk the same of yourself." She eyed this lovely woman in front of her, well to the side of her. Kitra had just turned to look at her fully. "To be dressed so nicely for a bar?" Kitra turned her attention back to her drink, she was very well buzzed now. She was also slurring her words a bit.

Kitra eyed her drink and frowned at it. Her eying her drink caused the bartender to chuckle and a glass of water was placed to the side. Kitra again nodded her thanks and finished her drink then took a swig of water. "You look like a man, but move like woman." She was mildly surprised to find herself saying that. This chick, or possibly guy looked good enough to be both. Kitra blinked and blushed, "Errr, sorry you could easily be a guy too. I dunno." Kitra turned her attention back to her fries, she was blushing a deep red now.

A genuine smile appeared on Rhy's lips as she turned and rested her elbows on the bar. She took stock of the woman before her more closely. She was gorgeous at a glance, of course, someone that could make one do a double take when glancing at people in a crowd. Natural redhead, to be sure. Stunning green eyes, full lips and a cutest button nose. She was also drunk, and drunk white girls just happened to be Rhythm's favorite kind of girl. That didn't stop her mind from reminding her that getting laid was not what she'd come here for, and the form of stress relief she was after involved only drinking, fighting, and the thrill of escaping the cops. A throwback to her old days, yeah, but she needed to cut loose. Syn wouldn't leave her mind otherwise.

Rhythm nodded in an understanding fashion. She didn't have a lot of exposure to men in any romantic sense, but she imagined that heartbreak and hurt translated fairly well regardless of ones own sexual preference. It reminded her of another reason she was here, of Agnes and the thief's own guilt in that glorious mess, but she continued to listen to the redhead here, as her slurred voice was cutesy and fun to hear.

“Well...” Rhy began, but stopped as the woman continued.

The thief took in the blush and laughed wholeheartedly, no doubt making said blush darken and deepen. She really didn't know where to begin and instead kicked back her drink before knocking on the bar to signal for a refill. The warmth spreading over her body made her close her eye for a moment before Rhy opened them again, this time settling on the woman's neck, a rather inviting prospect. Another brief thought wondered how the woman tasted in varying conditions; dry and sweet now, salty and slightly bitter later when the lovemaking was reaching it's peak. Eyes flew open as a free hand found her newly made drink. She kicked that one back fast as well, breathing in deep to help keep the coughing at bay.

“Iz no worries, cher.” Rhythm nodded to the bartender, who shook his head at the rather impressive speed these two were slamming their drinks. “An' thank ya fer da compliment on mah clothes. Though I do always be dressin' as such, if ah'm bein' honest. Helps catch da eyes o' pretty lil redheads, savvy? An' mah reason...drinkin' ta numb. Tings ah got up here...” Rhythm tapped her temple. “Dese memories ya can't ferget but temporarily.”

Another drink gone, and Rhy now sat down, shoulder to shoulder with her new friend.

“Names Rhythm,” the thief extended a hand in greeting. “Dis angel got a name, no? Lay it on mah ears, bebe.”

Kitra blinked and then blinked again as this, well, person laughed. She still didn't know their gender. A shiver ran down her spin as they spoke again.

“Names Rhythm,” the thief extended a hand in greeting. “Dis angel got a name, no? Lay it on mah ears, bebe.”

Kitra shook the offered hand and swallowed the swig of water she just took. Bartender pushed another cherry coke and rum her way and she nodded her thanks again at the man and pushed another bill his way. Kitra honestly couldn't care less how much this night was going to cost her. Money wise that is. "Name's Kitra." She let go of the lass or lassie's hand and downed yet her, wait was it her fifth drink? She couldn't quite remember.

Oh thats right it was her sixth she was on. Soon to be seventh as she downed the last of her sixth drink and the bartender pushed her yet another. Kitra turned to look fully at Rhythm this time, "I would say a woman but I cannot quite be sure." She heard a manly chuckle from the bartender, whom she responded in kind by tossing a dirty look. Who then responded in kind by placing another basket of fries between the two of them.

Kitra smiled coyly at the bartender before turning back to Rhythm, "So which is it?" This time she only sipped on her drink while eyeing Rhythm. Mind you they were quite cute, possibly handsome. Actually they were both. Which wasn't helping, at all. Kitra was currently feeling quite warm and her skin tingled everytime it touched something. Meaning her clothes were making her ticklish.

Kitra sneezed as smoke from another patron's cigeratte reached her nose. Said sneeze made her realize she needed to relieve herself. Hmm, this could be difficult. Kitra edged herself off her barstool carefully. So far so good. She steadied herself on the bar and let go after making sure she had her balance. "I will be back shortly." Thank whoever it was that designed the restrooms to be right next to the bar itself. She waltzed herself over to the bathroom. Well in reality she felt like she waltzed, normally she could walk just fine. However it was more so of a shuffling without stubbing her toes and such.

Kitra got to the ladies room in record time for being drunk. And thankfully there wasn't a line. Kitra sneezed as she entered the restroom *** About five minutes later she emerged. She was relieved and had splashed her face with cool water and had fixed her hair. She wasn't wearing makeup as she had found she never needed any. Her face dry, her bladder empty, she made her way back to her barstool in one piece.

Upon sitting on her barstool, Kitra took another swig of her drink and munched a few fries down. Once that was done she swung her seat to look at Rhythm, "Sorry needed to take a trip to the ladies room to freshen up." Also her clothes weren't as ticklish now that she had taken care of needed to happen body functions.

Rhythm watched the girl walk away and wondered, briefly, if Syn had given her an ass-complex. Certainly the redhead (Kitra, right?) had some junk in the trunk, but perhaps it was her drunken nature that was keeping her from properly showing it off. Or maybe Syn's own just out shined all others and made them seem dim by comparison. Whatever the reason, Rhythm now found herself more...attuned to her attraction to the backside of her females, and it was this that made her eyes sweep the room.

No sir, Rhy didn't consider herself to judge any book by any cover. She loved females in all shapes and sizes. But maybe now, after seeing the person that was consuming her thoughts and libido, she was fairly certain that she now had a 'type', where as just last week the thief could have just picked out the closest female that was attracted to her and have that be that. But now, Syn had effectively ruined her. Ruined her, and there was (sincerely) nothing the thief could do about it. Well, unless she was crazy enough to go pounding at The Sanctuary's golden doors and scream her name in an effort to gain her attention. Maybe hold up a boombox and play “In Your Eyes” by Peter Gabriel. That was somewhere in the romantic range, right?

Drink three (or was it four?), down the hatch.

She was suppose to be good. The Cat's Paw, though rowdy and carefree themselves, held her to a higher standard, as they did with the rest of their con artists. Sure, it was true enough that Rhythm was both well trained in the art of thieving as well as being a con artist, but she was the latter before anything else in their eyes. In hers too, but Rhythm could only handle being lonely for so long. Sure, she was with people, but that was acting. She fulfilled these women's fantasies, made them feel wanted and cared for. And it was better for them because of the taboo of Rhythm being female. It made it more exciting, more of a thrill. And while her marks whistled and hummed the rest of the week thinking about how wonderful that day was, to Rhythm...it was Tuesday.

Another drink conquered, and Rhy shook her head as her vision swam for a moment. Just a moment, though. Nothing serious.

Rhythm smiled at the woman who was there awhile back (how long had it been?) was now there again, as if by magic. The thief blinked rapidly before raising a hand and brushing a loose hair from the redhead's face and tucked it behind her ear. She retracted her hand a moment later, brushing knuckles in a soft cheek. Rhythm knew, somewhere inside her foggy brain, that her blood red eyes were betraying her every intention of not sleeping with anyone, and now her body was rebelling as well.

“Ah bet...” Rhy began, cupping the woman's chin in her hand gently, yet firmly. “Tha' if'n ya held eleven roses up ta a mirror, you'd be lookin' at twelve o' tha most beautiful tings in da world.”

And Kitra had just finished downing her seventh, or possibly eighth drink. Which was a good thing as Rhythm decided that she wanted to brush Kitra's errant hair out of her face. She froze and blinked once. Then blinked again as her eyes caught Rhythms and realized her eyes were blood red and full of, oh my. Hunger, want and just pure, wow was that admiration in her eyes?

“Ah bet...” Rhy began, cupping the woman's chin in her hand gently, yet firmly. “Tha' if'n ya held eleven roses up ta a mirror, you'd be lookin' at twelve o' tha most beautiful tings in da world.”

If Kitra wasn't already blushing well her poor cheeks felt like they were burning. She was pretty sure that Rhythm could feel the heat. As her pretty, well manicured and quite soft hand was cupping her chin to keep Kitra staring straight into her eyes. Her eyes, they were very gorgeous. Blood red and just full of every emotion but negative ones.

Kitra's bright green eyes stared back into Rhythms. Confusion, slight innocence and also a bit of haziness due to the alcohol. Of course there could easily be a bit of bashfullness and want in her eyes as well. She gulped and touched Rhythm's free hand, not the one cupping her chin. The other one that sat on Rhythms lap. A hint of mischieveness mixed with being drunk made her voice softer then normal. "Well aren't you just a naughty being. You still haven't answered my question." Yes was this person a male or female.

Kitra knew somewhere in the back of her mind she could easily just grab this person and find out. But that sort of ruins the fun. Nor could she pull herself away from staring at those beautiful eyes of Rhythms.

“Naw, ah haven't.” Rhythm chuckled, pulling her face closer to Kitra's. “Mayhaps ah could show ya. Letcha make that decision yerself...”

'Abort!' screamed the logical part of her mind. 'Abort mission!! Systems critical!! Abort!! ABORT!!'

Though Rhy wasn't much for logic at the moment, not after so many drinks in such a short period of time. With no food. Or, like...anything. Bad decisions all around, really. But, if she really thought about it, Rhythm considered herself to be made for bad decisions, and the one(s) she was currently making paled in comparison to some she'd made in the past. Though, really, she just didn't want to end up waking up next to a beautiful women whose name she couldn't remember.

...wait, what? Why not?!

Okay, so maybe she did. Kinda. Deep down inside. But she held back, despite the fast coming drunken haze. The reason came back to the one thing that prevented Rhythm from doing a lot in life; guilt. It kept her fro moving on after being 'born' at the age of sixteen with no memory of who she was, even after everything in life had told her that yes, she could move on, but guilt kept her going for that revenge that may never come. Guilt kept her from going back to Agnes and simply apologizing, since everything that had happened was her own fault and Agnes was simply another person Rhythm had hurt. Guilt kept her from calling Drew and telling him she was alive, from calling Jorge and telling her surrogate father that she was okay.

Guilt kept her from moving this to a point of no return.

Which brought up the point of 'how far was too far'? Her lips, which were currently locked with Kitra's, didn't seem to be 'too far' for Rhythm, not in the least. A kiss was a kiss, and while it could convey a lot, when you were drunk...well, it conveyed passion of the most intimate sort. Certainly their dancing tongues conveyed it as such, and when Rhythm pulled back, she still couldn't restrain the absolute want that she knew filled her eyes. Her breathing came in soft pants, her eyes still stared straight into the redheads before she slipped from the bar stool and expertly tilted her head, her teeth brushing against an earlobe before her mind completely rebelled against her with a mental image of the one she really wanted.

“Ah...ah gotta go, Red.” Rhythm muttered mournfully, slipping back though a hand still held onto the other woman's. “Ah shouldn't be here...”

Rhythm was getting closer and closer. All Kitra's mind was doing was going, 'Oh my gosh oh my gosh.' Then their lips connected. If someone could see in her head, beautiful Rhythm angels were flying around. Though there was also little devil Rhythms. Ahem, very cute devil Rhythms with cute little red devil tails.

Kitra felt herself lean slightly into the kiss as her mind kept screaming at her. She tried to recall when she was kissed like this, if ever. Her mind landed on Zelek and her blush deepened. Before she could pull away, Rhythm had already done so. Kitra felt her blush deepen even further as the want in Rhythm's eyes was quite clear. As was her breathing which currently matched Kitra's.

Once again before Kitra could say anything she felt a soft nibble on her earlobe before Rhythm had completely stood up. She looked ready to flee the scene despite the obvisious want in her eyes and in her voice.

“Ah...ah gotta go, Red.” Rhythm muttered mournfully, slipping back though a hand still held onto the other woman's. “Ah shouldn't be here...”

"You shouldn't be here?? Hell, I shouldn't be getting drunk, nor should I be kissing a very hot woman who is about ready to hightail it outta here!" Kitra managed to squeak that out through her gasping of air. Before Kitra could say anything else, whistling and cat calling could be heard through out the bar.

Conflicting feelings were dumb. They were all...conflicty and such, and it made the pleasant numbness that Rhythm had acquired from alcohol seem such a distant memory. She wanted nothing more than to go back and slam a couple more drinks down her gullet in an effort to push more of Syn's visage from her mind's eye, but her actions had startled her new friend. Understandable, yes. Another pang of guilt, this one like a spear to her side, as the thief thought back to Agnes and, now, a person who was obviously looking for some form of comfort. It wasn't much to ask for, not really, and while Rhythm didn't feel obligated to fulfill that need, she still felt guilty for kissing and running.

“Hey...hey!!” Rhythm was interrupted (rudely) by another bar patron, this one who just happened to start up a song on the modernized jukebox that was right by the bar and change machine. He was a respectable looking person, a businessman that was looking to unwind, but at the moment he look slightly flustered and red in the face. “Lookit here...just cause you're all fancy dressed and such don't mean ya can go makin' out with random women. Take that dyke shit somewhere else, okay? Please?”

Rhythm tilted her head, the song the man had going on the jukebox (“You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC) filling her up with untold strength, her spine tingling from the sensation. She grinned, the song bringing back memories of times with Bentley when the two felt like bouncing on couches and making love for endless hours with this very song on repeat. And while she was contemplating this, her foot (without permission from her mind) took a step forward, then another. And something in her posture, the anxious look in her blood red eyes, or maybe the feral, wild crooked grin that was plastered on her face made the man back up and his friend, a group of four others, stand up at the same time. It looked rehearsed, staged and Rhythm couldn't help but bare her teeth, a step turning into a small leap forward as her fist crashed into the offending man's face just as the guitar rumbled into the song. He never saw it coming, though, and he was out like a light before the first verse even started.

The other four jumped into action, oddly unafraid of the woman that had literally sent their comrade slamming into a wall from just one punch. Rhythm obliged them, taking care to dodge and play with her food before throwing out elbows and blocking sloppy punches. An art was there, she saw, those these weekend warriors didn't know what true martial arts looked like. Rhythm did, though, and she barely even felt the connected hits when they came. Even when they surrounded her, she pulled her punches to keep them from collapsing instantly. Brian Johnson's vocals kept Rhythm's soul afloat, and even when the felt a bottle crashing into the side of her face while three came at her front, she barely winced.

It was a flurry of fists, knees and elbows that laid out the rest, though by that time others had joined in. They didn't even direct their anger towards Rhythm, but it seemed as if a match was lit and the dynamite had just exploded. A patron came at Rhythm, a big guy who was fast for his size, his fist uppercutting and hitting Rhythm square in the stomach. The air left the thief's lungs, though the punch that came next was blocked by her body's muscle memory then by anything resembling rational thought. She flung the offending appendage aside and snapped an elbow forward and crashing into the man's solar plexus, the blow leveling the big guy with all the power Rhythm could muster at the moment. It wasn't much, being inebriated, and while she had a free moment, the woman reached behind the bar and took a bottle of something clear and chugged it before tossing it behind her back. She saw someone lumbering towards Kitra, and half a moment later Rhythm was on him just as he grabbed her arm. She expertly twisted the hand that had dared touch the redhead and pulled him forward, slamming her now bloodied face into his nose, sending him to the floor unconscious.

“Enjoyin' da night, cher bebe?” Rhythm asked as another bar patron stumbled into them, Rhythm's foot easily pushing her back and into the chaos. “An' as a token fer ya puttin' up with a scoundrel like meh...ah'm a woman. One tha's spiritually taken, ah'm afraid.” Rhythm took a moment to put down several more offenders before twirling to Kitra, grabbing her hand and kissing it gently. “Ah'm afraid it'd neva work, dahlin'. But maybeh ah can help you remember dis night when yer at home all lonely-like and hungerin' fer somethin'...different.”

Rhythm lifted the smaller woman up and planted her butt on the bar and dove into her neck, licking it a bit to savor the taste and smell (natural scent, though sweet, like honey) before she clasped her hands to the other woman's face, holding her still as she kissed her deeply. The music disappeared for the moment, even as Kitra's legs wrapped around Rhythm's trim waist, the passionate embrace ending only when Rhythm felt some of her blood mingle in with their kiss. She pulled back and licked her lips, unbothered, before she swept Kitra up easily, bridal style, and nodded to the bartender.

“Put it on meh tab dere, Yogi.” Rhythm winked. “An' if ya send some kinda legal bull mah way, ah'll be comin' back ta break ya. Savvy?”

She didn't even wait to get an answer as a foot shot up to push several people that were in her way. They all tumbled aside like dominos, and Rhythm swept from the bar just as the song ended. She carefully maneuvered Kitra out and onto the sidewalk before setting her down when they were a full block away. When a sudden wave of dizziness made her stumble, Rhythm set the redhead down gently before holding out a hand to lean against the brick building thy were by.

“Wild, huh?” Rhy winked at Kitra, hoping the crooked smile on her face was charming enough to offset the among of blood that was now covering her white suit. “Not usually like tha' girlie, believe meh. Kinda needed ta unwind, dig? Get the jibblies outta meh and get mah mind back on track. Bein' spiritually taken though...lemme tell ya. Takes it outta ya. Food dun taste right, colors be lookin' duller. Should be a sin lookin' like she does. Heh...sin. Get it? Cause thas' her name. Heh...”

Well frak. Blood loss. Scrambled mind, rambling thoughts. Never a good thing.

“Do Rhythm a solid, sweet thang, and get on da horn and fetch us a ride.” Rhythm slithered down the wall, holding a hand to the sticky mass on the side of her face with a sigh. “Dun think ah'll be here much longa. Talk ta me, 'kay? Just fer a bit till help comes.”

She knew that, somewhere deep down, she was hoping for a different kind of fade to black, but that seemed just a bit out of the question. Performance issues and all that.

Kitra was in a daze. One that involved her watching Rhythm beat the crap out of the other patrons in the bar. Also she hazily noted that none of the bouncers moved in to stop her. Something to remember, if she could that is. Her gasp went unheard when Rhythm got a blow to the face. But she kept going until she sauntered back up to Kitra.

Who then found herself being planted on the bar and being nommed upon then kissed whole heartedly. "Mhmph" she managed to get out before Rhythm removed herself from that luscious kiss. Kitra blinked hazily, and only heard a buzzing as she was removed from the bar. She blinked again only to find herself in Rhythm's arms, bridal style no less.

Kitra felt rather then seen themselves moving out the door and at a hasty pace found themselves away from the bar. Kitra was set down gently and her legs automatically sat indian style in order to keep herself upright. She looked up at Rhythm and felt the alcohol influence be swept under the rug. Rhythm didn't look well, especially with her slidding down the wall. Kitra gulped and dove her hand into her bag to find her cell phone. Who didn't have one of those things nowadays?

She found her cell phone and called the first person in her phone, Abyss. "Hey Abyss, this is Kitra. Um, I think I'm about a block from Cat's Pajamas. I have Rhythm with me. She's hurt. And, uh, well, I'm drunk." There was a pause. "Yeah, Rhythm plus dumb bar patrons." Another pause, "Ok." Kitra hung up the phone and turned her attention to Rhythm.

Kitra frowned, she didn't give two craps if Rhythm knew if she was a mutie or not. She guessed that Rhythm was as well. Most don't have blood red eyes and not have some sort of power to back it, er, right? Kitra shook her head and nabbed a piece of paper from her bag and put it on the nasty cut on Rhythm's face. "Don't move too much," Kitra said softly. The paper on Rhythm's face confirmed and was nice and soft and helped to absorb some of the blood. Kitra kissed Rhythm on her cheek and smiled. Now to wait for Abyss.

Abyss softly pressed the screen of his phone, too hard and it would be a pancake. 'hey Kit, whats up?'
He tilted his head. 'The cats pajamas...and Rythm? Ok, I'll be there asap." He looked across the room to his little sister. "Kits Drunk, Rhythm is hurt. wanna come?" he wasn't sure what His sisters current status was with any of the other ladies around the Sanct. but he did know that According to Venus, Rhythm was smooth. something that he didn't say lightly. Quite frankly he was happy to see Syn blow off steam in a more productive manner.

"You should see, this lotus we acquired the other night. Black and red, leather interior, it would fit you like a glove."

He moved toward the door unsure if she was coming or staying.

It had been awhile since Syn had a chance to just sit and talk with her brother. When the night was going by slowly she called him up and suggested they do just that. The recreation area was picked as it had the best chairs and couches to relax on. The relaxing only lasted for about a half hour when her brother received a call.

Kit is drunk and Rhythm is with her and she’s hurt? That didn’t sound good. Syn had the pleasure of meeting Rhythm once before and even though it wasn’t a very long meeting Syn liked what she saw, heard and felt from the taller woman. There was something about her and Syn was all too happy to nod in agreement to join her brother to pick the two women up.

Taking one of the cars from the small fleet Sanctuary had they arrived at the Cat’s Pajama’s. Syn had her brother call Kit back to find out exactly where the pair were at. Once the location was determined the dark goddess led the way so they could get the two ladies to the car. Syn sat in the back with Rhythm trying to get a better look at miss red eyes condition.

When they all finally got to Sanctuary Syn grabbed Rhythm’s arm and draped it over her own shoulders to support the woman. “I’ll take her to the infirmary. Brother will you make sure Kit is ok?”

Entering the infirmary Syn and Rhythm were immediately met by some of the doctors and nurses as they took Rhythm to one of the tables and began checking her out and tending to her wounds.

When things had calmed down Syn stood at Rhythm’s side with a wash cloth and a small pan of water. She gently dabbed and wiped around Rhythm’s face. The cloth brushed over the red eyed woman’s lips. She had such wonderfully tender looking lips. Leaning over Syn kissed Rhythm softly

Well they were off to Sanctuary in a flash. Abyss had come and retrieved her and Rhythm, and it was interesting to note, so did Syn. Once they reached Sanctuary Syn disappeared with Rhythm to the infirmary. Kitra said in a halting voice, "No way am I going back into the Infirmary. They'll tie me to the beds."

A cool voice interrupted her, "If you insist on staying on not going to the Infirmary then at least go to the dining hall and get something for your potential hangover."

Kitra blinked a few times before her eyes rested on Lisa. The woman actually had a tiny curve on her normally thin, straight lips. "Yes, Ma'm." Her voice was sheepish, however when she went to take step towards that direction she fell flat on her face. "Owe," Kitra stated. It would have been better if she had remembered that Abyss had carried her to the car and out of the car and had put her down when they had gotten inside.


Then to make matters worse she started giggling. She couldn't keep the gigglyness out of her voice, "The floor is pretty comfy. I don't think Lisa wants me staying here though." Kitra tried to push herself up and flopped back down. This time she grumbled, "I am stuck, also, no more drinking nine drinks in a row."

He smiled to Syn, it wasn't as if he couldn't have carried Kitra and Rhythm, she might not like it as much as carrying her, but he could have. that said they could handle it. he however had a ahole diffrent night infront of him. If nothing else this girl kept things interesting. He wondered if she had an undetectable mutation that attracted trouble. Jos, might not love the idea of him taking another girl to his room, but he could and would make sure she survived the night and it wasn't as if they were dating just yet.

Abyss held in a laugh as hard as he could initially he was concerned, the plop of gravity winning a round and the sound of tile against flesh was harsh. " looks like I am doing your walking tonight." he dipped down and scooped the girl up careful to not grab or hold on to anything particularly naughty. Hips and shoulders would have to do for the girl, luckily for her, his arms were broad enough to support her head as well.

"Lisa, I think I might just get some food into her in my room." Abyss notified her.

Lisa raised her eyebrows as if surprised.

Abyss replied to the look. "Oh, its not as if Im Venus."

Lisa shook her head defensively. " he doesn't take advantage, At least unless a girl says to."

It was Abyss's turn to be scandalized. Lisa? he had seduced Lisa!

Lisa blushed as if she said more than she meant to. "Not that I would know."

Abyss just grinned and walked away. Sometimes it was weird knowing that your brother had the exact same body as you and was showing it to as many people as he could get to look.

nine drinks...He was likely in for a night of light sleep and hair holding, if he knew his drunk women, he was probably in for hearing about Zelek and how things were in Kitra's life without much if any restraint.
