The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

>> “Okay, seriously, guys, I think you all have filled my quota in seeing butts this year! Gawd!”
Rebecca shook out of her competition trance for a second, her brain processing what Agnes could mean. Realizing she was giving Agnes a display of her butt, she blushed, trying to find a way to a new position, but any attempt felt like her body would be ready to drop. "Sorry, cannae dae much about 'at. At least there's nae much tae look at," she teased self-deprecatingly.
To be frank, Rebecca could not afford to move much now. She was fidgety and her heart was racing, and the room was feeling far too hot now that she was moving around. She felt sweat on her brow, and less helpful, on the palms that were trying to stabilize her on the mat without slipping.
Her foot would have to go through her arm to get to the blue in front of her. The process was slow as she tried inching it through, contorting her body. The result became a wobbly version of a crab-walk, but she was stable. In this position, she was looking directly down her front and came upon a delayed realization. Did... what was Drew able to see?
She lost her focus, and her hand slipped more than she was expecting. Like a bridge, she toppled, landing on her back and butt. She landed under Agnes, groaning. "Darn!" And there she was: the first to fall.
She crawled out from under her friend and found her way off the mat. She plopped herself down next to Drew. "Ye dornt mind if Ah sit here, right?" She would normally find a seat as far away from the cute boy as she could, but her adrenaline was still running and emboldening her. "C'mon Agnes!"
She cheered on, wondering if Drew would let her take a turn controlling the people on the mat. Innocently, she asked, "Think Ah coulds take a turn wi' yer spinner?"
Agnes groaned. She didn’t even have a NAME for the position that she found herself in. All she knew was that she was wobbly, Gina had already gone down, and that Darren kid, well, she quickly found out that he had mutation that would easily allow him to win this game. Someone should have made sure the house rules of “No Powers” was in effect before they started playing. But it was far too late for that now. She was just going to have to deal.
>> "Left foot blue."
Agnes wanted to let loose with a torrid stream of obscenities and curses but she never got around to it. Instead she merely grumbled under her breath as she struggled to crane her neck and spy where the hell the blue dot was. Straining she finally found it and side. This…was going to take some interesting stretching as well as some twisting that she doubted her body could really do.
Wasn’t that the old school try?
She held her breath and was just about to twist herself to go for it when suddenly…
THUMP!
>> “ "Darn!"
Agnes blinked as she looked down and had to laugh. Rebecca was flat on her back staring up at her. She shook her head. The birthday girl was already out of the running? Shouldn’t that be where it ended? Shouldn’t that call game for everyone else? She watched as Rebecca squirmed out and made her way to sit over in the very comfortable chairs. Guess not.
>> "C'mon Agnes!"
Agnes heard her name cheered and sighed. She needed to do this now. Mentally she rolled her eyes as she began to move her left foot over, crossing it over her right leg as she tried to not think how utterly ridiculously she looked. Before she knew it she was placing her foot at the appropriate square and feelt she was standing on someone’s…limb.
“Um…whoever that is I’m standing on…” she said with a gasp. “Deal with it!” she was going to win now!!
Darren hid his grin as Gina restarted and fixed her position. Her confidence both intimidated him and charmed his socks off (as his feet slipped a bit, he realized he really should’ve taken the socks off), but either way, she made him blush. When she was all set, Andrew spun the wheel again, announcing the next move of “left foot blue.” The teenager realized what a dire situation he was getting placed in, and actually felt disappointed that his defeat seemed imminent. There was no way he’d be able to balance with so many of his limbs crowded in the same place and his back to the floor.
In any case, he had to try. He cautiously removed his left foot from its spot and slowly shifted it to a blue dot near him. Blue dots that would have been more comfortable to use were already being claimed by Gina and Agnes, so he had no choice. He didn’t think he had enough control to maneuver his elastic limb around them, either.
As he moved, Rebecca toppled over, landing right underneath Agnes. She did not ask for another chance, and simply shrugged it off and went over by the spinner and sat down. Darren felt bad. It was her birthday…shouldn’t she be the one to the win? Or was that too juvenile? He flashed her a short, sympathetic look and refocused on his movement. Now that the birthday girl was out of the running, the title of Twister Champion was free game.
Slowly…slowly… Darren’s foot twitched a little as it neared the dot, but it was quickly stopped in its tracks by another foot. He winced as he felt the impact of Agnes’ toes stomping on his ankle. It didn’t hurt, since he had no solid bones or joints to speak of, but it surprised him. And it totally threw off his balance.
>> “Um…whoever that is I’m standing on… Deal with it!”
He swayed a little at first, intent on righting himself and continuing in the game, but the older girl’s complete disregard for his limb forced him to collapse, arms folding under him. Darren almost pouted and remained on his back for a moment, unsure of how to squeeze himself out of Agnes’ foothold. He didn’t want to knock her over, even if she had essentially knocked him over…
“What do I do?” he asked sheepishly, clearing his throat several times before speaking. He wiggled his toes a bit, trying to think of a strategy. He didn’t think Agnes could lift her foot up; her position was pretty crazy…

Left-foot blue? No problem. Gina turned to the side, and stretched her foot out towards the blue dot, planting it easily. She stood as if she was doing a lunge, her right lef bent beneath her and bearing a majority of the weight. She was steady, now. Someone hit the floor, and Gina glanced over her shoulder. It was Rebecca.
She let out a short "darn", but rather than strive to stay in as Gina did, she went and sat beside Drew, to get a better view of the competition. Or maybe, to just sit by Drew. She cheered for Agnes, and Gina let out a short laugh.
>> “Um…whoever that is I’m standing on… Deal with it!”
"The competition's beoming cut-throat!" Gina observed jokingly, glancing over her shoulder at the other two kids. Poor Darren and his smushed foot. At least it wasn't Gina and her taloned toes squishing his foot. That would be far more painful. Darren, too, fell, but his foot was still wedged under Agnes's.
"So it is down to you, and it is down to me," Gina grinned. Just call her Vizzini. She tilted her head at Darren, glancing down at him and his smushed foot. He didn't seem to be in pain. So Gina went back to focusing on the game.

Several things happened at once. Rebecca fell and instead of staying in the game, ceded her spot. Poor Darren got stepped on by a very determined sounding Agnes. And Gina decided to quote a kidnapper. But first things first. Drew gave Rebecca a smile.
"Go right ahead, not like the seat is taken."
As she asked for the spinner Drew shrugged and handed it over, but not before leaning over and whispering in her ear.
"If you want to have a little fun with them it's not like they'll notice if you don't call out what the spinner says."
Then he leaned back in his seat and gave Agnes and Gina a serious look.
"I'd better not see any iocane powder out there! Otherwise Princess Buttercup over here gets it!"
Drew grasped Rebecca's arm lightly and feigned holding a dagger to her throat for emphasis. Did that make him Humperdink? Ugh, oh well. Better Humperdink than Count Rugen. At least Humperdink was still alive at the end of the movie.

It did not take long for Darren to follow her exit; it would seem Agnes was in it to win it now, and Rebecca was ready to cheer her friend on enthusiastically. "Good try, Darren!"
She glanced over at the young man called Drew. Quite the handsome face... Agnes said Rebecca was pretty, and boys would have their eye on her. Maybe Drew would have taken notice?
>> "If you want to have a little fun with them it's not like they'll notice if you don't call out what the spinner says."
Rebecca's innocent eyes widened; was he cheating the entire time?! How mischievous! She kept from giggling. "Ah'll keep 'at in mind." She flicked the spinner, but her eyes were on her friends. There must be a combination that could cause them some trouble.
She settled on her best guess. "Right hand red." She looked down; right foot green. Whatever, her choice was better.
BING!
The sound of the bell at the gate ringing must have meant the pizza finally arrived. Rebecca looked down at the spinner and placed it back in Drew's lap. "Ah'll get th' pizza!"
She got to her feet and gathered the money off the counter. "Darren, woulds ye' min' helping meh wi' th' boxes?" There would be a few boxes to carry from the gate and help would be appreciated.
Agnes, for a moment, felt back that she was standing on Darren’s foot. At least the boy was not screaming in pain, but that did not mean she wasn’t being rude. But, as much as she wanted to move to set him free, she did know that if she made one single misstep then she was going to ruin any of her chances of winning this game. And right now, all Agnes wanted to do (for enduring this embarrassment) was the win!
She insect-girl smirked as she glanced to wherever Darren’s general location was.
“Wait until we’re done,” she said with a laugh. “Then I will release you.”
>> "The competition's becoming cut-throat!"
“You’re damn right,” Agnes smirked.
>> "So it is down to you, and it is down to me,"
Eyes narrowed, Agnes looked as best she good towards Gina and watched her closely. As much as she loved her little sister, she was not going to give the younger girl the win. She was shaking, in pain, and all she wanted to do was to conquer this game. Families be damned! Especially families that use obscure movie references like that. She had seen the movie, “The Princess Bride” once so she knew what line Gina was speaking of.
“You are not going to win, Gina!” she growled. “That would be…inconceivable!”
>> "I'd better not see any iocane powder out there! Otherwise Princess Buttercup over here gets it!"
Agnes blinked and started to laugh. Quickly she stopped herself, though, so that she would not fall over due to her laughing. What, were there THREE Vizzini’s all of a sudden? It was humorous and seemed to truly lighten the competitive mood that hung heavily in the air. Agnes tried not to laugh but she was quickly losing that fight. Her arms shaking, her legs trembling, Agnes thought for sure she would fall over at any second…
>> "Right hand red."
Agnes groaned. Right hand red?! Really?! She knew that she was totally in a spot (no pun intended). A glance to the side and she spotted the mocking Red dot. There was absolutely no way that she would be able to make that without inducing an absolute massive cramp throughout her body. But…she had to try…
Weakly she crawled the fingers of her right hand over to the red dot. Just…a…little…further…
BING!
“Gah!”
Agnes gasped in surprise by the sudden sound. For a second she had absolutely no idea what had made that sound. All she knew was that it had distracted her! Focusing again Agnes struggled and pulled her hand closer and closer to that glaring red mark before…
“Aha! Got it!” she grinned as she remained up, arm stretched to its absolute limit.
>> "Ah'll get th' pizza!"
“Huh?” she blinked as she looked up. The pizza! She had totally forgotten that! She peered over as Rebecca summoned Darren to help her. “Becca! Don’t you forget, the pizza’s are on me! Just get my bag over there on the table,” she indicated to somewhere off to the side. “The cash is in there.”
Just as soon as she had said that, she put her head back into the game. She wanted to win this and she would bowl Gina over if she had to…
The game was indeed heating up, with Gina and Agnes exchanging competitive banter, along with Drew and Rebecca playing along with some reference Darren was obviously not getting. Probably a piece of pop culture he’d missed out on while devouring every single mystery book he could get his hands on. He could quote Sherlock Holmes or recount The Maltese Falcon perfectly and entirely from his memory, but everything else flew straight over his head. He was content to lie obliviously, patiently waiting for Agnes to move her foot so he could get off the mat and stop obstructing their game.
>> “Wait until we’re done. Then I will release you.”
As if reading his mind, Agnes laughed and addressed his trapped situation. He blushed at the sudden smirk, and realized that he had a very pretty girl on top of him, technically speaking. And It seemed he wouldn’t be leaving anytime soon. He sighed silently and prepared himself to be stuck in that embarrassing position for however long the game would continue. Judging by the competition blazing in both girls’ eyes, he was going to be there for a long time…
…or maybe not. After Rebecca called the next move—which was suspiciously difficult, but then again, it was called Twister for a reason—Agnes struggled during and after her giggling fit, her limbs shaking. Darren could feel the vibrations reverberate through his ankle and up his leg. It appeared his rubbery subsistence made him more resonant. It kind of tickled. He thought for sure the insect girl was going to fall over.
The combination of the bellowing bell signaling the pizza’s arrival, and Agnes’ yelling reaction nearly made him jump, but his lying position did not allow him to do so. He settled for spasming and nearly withdrawing his foot from its current place and subsequently tripping Agnes. But the girl was relatively unfazed, and managed to reach the desired dot on the mat, at the cost of her flexibility.
>> "Ah'll get th' pizza! Darren, woulds ye' min' helping meh wi' th' boxes?" >> “Becca! Don’t you forget, the pizza’s are on me! Just get my bag over there on the table. The cash is in there.”
“Uh…” he began, unsure of how to help Rebecca out without screwing Agnes up. And then the lightbulb came on over his brunette head, and he remained where he was, sort of. “No problem,” he said, clearing his throat, “I-it’s the least I can do for the birthday girl.” Darren’s torso and arm snaked across the floor toward the door, grabbing what he hoped was Agnes’ bag from a nearby table along the way. He felt the strange stretching sensation as his hands traveled farther than any human's should. His elongated arms waited beside Rebecca, ready to receive the boxes.

Gina laughed openly as her allusion was caught by a good chunk of the other children, and added onto by her friends. Rebecca relocated herself to Drew’s side, and began to assist him in the calling of colors.
“Inconceivable!” Gina parroted after her older sister, all smiles and delighted tail-curls.
>> “Right hand, red.”
Oh, crud. Gina let her gaze flicker to Rebecca, before flickering towards the mat. Thank God that she’d fallen and reentered—she had an easier time rationalizing her next move, but still… she was going to be a human pretzel. Gina shifted her wait from the foot that was bent under her (her right foot), to her left foot, which was still firmly planted on the mat. That being done, she carefully removed her hand from the green dot, and (by crossing it over her torso and turning her body slightly) placed it on the red. Gina was all contorted, with her back towards Agnes now—God forbid she move her left foot.
The doorbell resounded and Gina looked up distractedly. Rebecca was running for the door, calling for Darren to assist her, Drew remained on the couch with the spinner, and Agnes and Gina remained on the mat.
“Pizza!” she gasped, her stomach getting ahead of her, “Aw, no fair!”
It would figure that the pizza would show up right when the game was getting good.
“Aw,” Gina reiterated, “Fudge.”
She was also competitive, and was not going to resign because of trembling limbs or because Agnes said she wouldn’t win, but… pizza. Gina watched as Darrens’ arms wove like snakes towards the table, retrieved Agnes’s bag, and then continued towards the door. Gina grinned. So that’s why he wasn’t screaming in pain from having his foot stepped on. He was elastic. That’s right.
“Pizza,” Gina whined, gaze cutting from Agnes, towards the door.

A grin was very much warranted when Rebecca blatantly ignored what the spinner said in favor of calling out something that would be more interesting. Unfortunately it seemed he wouldn't get to see more since the pizza arrived just then and Rebecca went off to get it. While calling on Darren for aid. The poor guy was currently stuck on the mat so Drew wasn't entirely surprised when he pulled something straight out of the comics. Around here the stretching maneuver wasn't all that strange so Drew shrugged it off as he watched Agnes and Gina rearrange themselves per Rebecca's orders.
Neither one looked like they would last much longer and Gina was starting to whine for pizza. Drew shook his head as he picked up the spinner and spun.
Huh, what do ya know? It actually landed on something useful!
"Right then my lovely competitors. Left foot yellow."
Judging by the girl's positions that would cause at least one of them to fall, thereby letting both girls get pizza. Drew tossed the spinner aside and stretched out in his seat. He'd stick around for pizza and then probably cut out.

>> “Becca! Don’t you forget, the pizza’s are on me! Just get my bag over there on the table. The cash is in there.”
Rebecca had forgotten as it turned out. Despite it being her birthday, she still had the innate desire to not let others treat her, feeling like she should be the one to give to others. Agnes would have none of that however, and it would be rude not to let her friend pay after the offer was already given. "Oh, fine."
>> “No problem. I-it’s the least I can do for the birthday girl.”
Rebecca had failed to notice when she asked for help that Darren was still stuck on the mat. She saw that he lost so he was naturally at the top of the list for pizza help. What she had ignored was Agnes keeping the boy in place, which would have probably hurt if not for the mutation he revealed.
His arms extended, continuing forward, elongating and reaching toward the door. They picked up the bag Rebecca recognized as Agnes's and it came close to her. She wondered how far he could stretch from that position, but ultimately, she could not think of a way in which the delivery guy would not freak out over a pair of mystery hands accompanying her.
She took the bag and shook one of the hands, speaking out to the mat yards away where they originated. "Thenk ye Darren, but Ah forgot th' position ye are in. Ah can probably manage on mah ain, but thenk ye fer being sae ready tae help!" She squeezed the hand lightly and smiled, (despite being out of sight from Darren himself,) before setting out to get the pizza from the gate.
Along the way, she sifted through Agnes's bag, looking for the money her friend had mentioned. She came across a photo, slightly weathered from time spent in a girl's bag of possessions. The unfamiliar girl had to be Jasmine, the girlfriend Rebecca had heard about since their first meeting. She could not help but smile; Jasmine was definitely pretty. She made a mental note that she still very much needed to meet Jasmine at some point, before she returned to finding the pizza money.
Rebecca left the Mansion doors, entered the cool January air. She could already see the pizza guy waiting for her with pizza boxes in his hand. He was very muscular, but the he had a orange skin, a thin mustache and eyes that unsettled her for some reason. This was all accompanied by a grin as he saw her walking toward him.
"Sorry fer th' Sorry fur th' wait." Rebecca punched in the code to release the gate's lock so she could receive her pizzas.
The sound of the mechanism releasing lead to the young man pushing the door ajar, holding on to one of the bars, pizza still in his other hand. "Not a problem at all. Are you that sweet little thing I was on the phone with before?"
Rebecca blushed, recalling the conversation she heard Agnes in earlier. Apparently this was the same guy who took the call. No, Ahm nae actually. 'At was a friend." She was losing the desire to answer with more than just a few words.
He chuckled, and she hated the sound of it. "I see. Well, don't you have a cute little accent to go with that hot body."
That pushed Rebecca well into the redzone of discomfort, unsure how to respond to a comment like that. "Um, thenk ye... well, here's th' money." She held out enough to cover the bill, as well as a tip she was now debating the merit of.
The man handed Rebecca the pizzas, but shook his head, still grinning his wicked grin. "Naw, how about this: we can forget about the money and I'll just come and hang out with you and that other friend with the sexy voice."
Rebecca's eyes involuntarily widened at the concept. How could she help him get the hint that there was no way she would let that happen? Doing her best to balance the pizza boxes on her free arm, she grabbed the edge of the gate with her other, trying to push it just enough that he would realize she wanted it closed and him on the other side of it. "No, Ah dornt think that's a good idea."
The gate did not move, and he seemed to have no desire to budge, serving as the doorstop. "Nonsense! I even came here especially because your friend sounded like she'd be a fun time. If you let me in, I guarantee you the three of us can have a fun night."
Rebecca was now nervous, because the man was clearly more persistent than she was prepared to deal with. She had to end this awkward encounter now before he decided to get himself on the wrong side of the gate. "Um, listen, mah friends are waitin'. Ah hae tae going."
The strawberry blonde focused on the magnetic field around the gate. It was too big to move with her powers alone, but that did not mean she could not use her magnetic advantage to add some push to her own effort. Between her physical push and the backing of magnetism, the gate shoved the man back. He was obviously unprepared for Rebecca's show of force and fell backwards on his bottom.
Not sure whether to feel sorry or just be glad it worked, she placed the money neatly in a pile through the bars, on the ground on his side of the fence. She got a better handle on the boxes and quickly muttered in closing, "Have a nice day." She turned tail and retreated to the safety of the Mansion, away from the shouting and obscenities of the delivery guy.
Rebecca disappeared with her bag and Agnes was thankful that she did not have to argue with the young redhead. She had told her that she was going to take care of the pizzas for the evening and though she was in an tough position, she did not want the young Scot to take advantage of the situation by running off and paying for the pizzas on her own. After all, this was her birthday so she should just get over that people wanted to do things for her. What were friends for, after all, if not to treat you on your birthday?
>> “Pizza,”
Agnes grinned as she imagined the pained expression on Gina’s face. If there was one thing about her little sister that she knew extremely well was the fact that she loved her junk food. Though she had a figure that most girl’s would beg for, Agnes was always surprised by the amount of food that she was able to pack away. None of it ever showed on her body, either. Maybe it was the flying, maybe there was just something different about her physiology, who knew? But whatever the case, Agnes knew that it was a weakness that she could definitely exploit. Especially if she wanted to win…
The wide, glazed over look at the mention of “pizza” that Agnes was sure was evident in Gina’s eyes, made her smirk. Agnes just had to grin at the silliness of the situation but knew that it was something she could use against her little sister. After all, how fair was it that she got a second chance after falling on her face? Nope, Agnes was going to win this one.
“Aww, Gina,” she said sweetly. “You look like you are staaaaaarving…” Agnes teased. “Chips, cookies, they don’t compare to pizza, do they? You know, you could just give in now and grab yourself a slice. I’m sure that nice, piping hot, cheesy pizza is well worth winning any silly old game…”
>> "Right then my lovely competitors. Left foot yellow."
Drew’s voice rang out and Agnes had to sigh. She really, really was beginning to hate him again. Part of her had a feeling that he was not actually calling out the commands from the spinner, but even if he wasn’t, that did not mean she was going to enjoy this move.
Stiffly, Agnes finally moved her left foot, slipping it past other dots and finally freeing Darren. Shakily, weakly, she shuddered until finally she managed to set her foot down onto a yellow dot. The tremors were getting worse but she managed to contort her body enough to maintain her position, but she knew she was not going to last long.
Thankfully, she could already smell pizza in the air.
“Doesn’t…that pizza…smell good Gina?” Agnes asked. “Probably making your tummy rumble, isn’t it?”
Come on, Gina. Lose focus! Lose focus!!!” Agnes thought as she watched her little sister…
Darren's hand were squeezed then politely declined, and he shrunk them back to normal size. He really hadn't minded helping, but it seemed Rebecca did not want to inconvenience him after realizing the position he was in. Or maybe she didn't want to freak out the pizza guy, now that he thought about it... Hm, that could certainly be troublesome. And hilarious. But mostly troublesome.
Speaking of hilarious, he quietly chuckled at Agnes' sly coaxing, her attempts to distract Gina with food and destroy her resolve to win. It made his stomach grumble, the way she waved around graphic descriptions of the pizza. He hoped Rebecca came back soon.
The second Agnes got off of him to pursue another suspiciously arduous move, (seriously, there was something fishy about Drew's spins) he pushed himself up and followed after the birthday girl, who was still outside. He figured she was delayed because of all the boxes, and hurried through the door to help her. He nearly collided with her.
"Sorry!" Darren exclaimed, quickly side-stepping her before he knocked over all of the pizzas. He then noticed angry curses and shouts coming from the end of the long driveway, and he swiveled his head to see an irate man in a delivery uniform starting to kick the locked mansion gates. "W-what happened?" he asked, owl-eyed. What could have possibly happened to piss off the man in such a short amount of time?
"Are you okay?" he asked, reaching for a couple boxes. Although he did not know Rebecca at all, the impression she gave him was not one of a girl who upset others easily...or at all. Therefore, the fault obviously lied with the pizza man, and the shrimpy kid began grinding his heel against the ground, like a bull getting ready to charge. Even he had a little masculinity under all that shyness.

>> "Right then my lovely competitors. Left foot yellow."
Gina made a noise of disapproval, and looked down at her poor, tangled limbs. Such karma, such misfortune—left foot, yellow. How the heck was she going to manage this? If she tried to scoot her left foot towards the yellow, she’d risk tearing the mat with her claws, which nobody would take very kindly to. But, if Gina ended up falling down again… then she could get to the pizza all the faster. Her mind was shifting to the one-track, “That pizza is looking really good” mentality.
And Agnes was picking-up on it.
>> “Aww, Gina. You look like you are staaaaaarving… Chips, cookies, they don’t compare to pizza, do they? You know, you could just give in now and grab yourself a slice. I’m sure that nice, piping hot, cheesy pizza is well worth winning any silly old game…”
“Agnes, shut up!” Gina said with a shrill laugh. She knew exactly what her sister was doing—she was exploiting one of the gargoyles’ greatest weaknesses. Her stomach, and its insatiable desire for food that was no good for her. And, even with this realization. It was working. Gina’s stomach let out a quiet, insistent gurgle.
>> “Doesn’t…that pizza…smell good Gina? Probably making your tummy rumble, isn’t it?”
“No!” Gina said, a little too quickly, a chuckle still in her tone. Her stomach gurgled again, almost inaudibly, in protest. Supporting most of her weight on her hands, Gina began to carefully move her foot the yellow spot. Her arms trembled under the strain of supporting most of her weight—she was so close… almost there…
Gina planted her foot, but tried to shift her weight back to her legs a moment too soon. She slipped, and went down in a fit of giggles.
“Agnes!” she accused simply, making as if she were going to grab at her sisters’ ankles, “I’m taking you down with me!”
Ultimately, however, Gina was too nice to physically drag her sister down, too-- what if Agnes bit her tongue when she hit the floor? That was too mean. Gina shifted her attention. On the bright side of things, she was now free to go get pizza. Gina got up after a minimal attempt to sabotage her sister, her mind focusing-in on the more important matter of sustenance.

Drew chuckled as his call and Gina's desire for food got the better of her and she fell. After a brief attempt to drag Agnes down with her that the gargoyle didn't follow through with the gargoyle got up to seek nourishment. With the arrival of the pizza it was time for food. Drew set the spinner aside and walked over to the twister mat. With a grin he held his hand out to Agnes.
"Well looks like we have a winner! Shall we go seek the pizza with the others?"
Grabbing on to one of Agnes' arms, Drew hauled her to her feet as gently as he could. Once he was certain she was steady on her he slung an arm around her shoulders and began guiding her toward pizza.
"To the winner go the spoils. In this case pizza and a prize."
Coming in view of Rebecca, Darren, and Gina; Drew grinned.
"And in this case the prize for the winner is a kiss from our beautiful princess. Isn't that right Rebecca?"
Drew winked at the assembled group as he placed Agnes right in front of Rebecca. He'd spent the entire twister game putting the group in awkward positions. With the game over Drew had a mind to go out with a bang. If it went poorly...well he could just nick a couple of slices of pizza and seclude himself in his room where the vengeful birthday party couldn't get him.
