The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Oh no," Tristan said petting the engine. "You can't keep this girl locked up she's to wild. We used to go up to 175 on those long open roads back home." He looked at the way Ted was awkwardly scrathing his head. "It's cool dude the only reason i know so much about cars is because it was the only thing me and my old manwould get along with, other then that we never really talked. But you know what i miss the most man..."He alloweda moment for drama. "The country girls, the way that they weren't into all this material bull that these city chicks are."

Ted had always gotten on with his dad. Through getting to know Tristan, he'd begun to realise just how lucky his life is. Or rather, had been. Ted laughed as Tristan mentioned girls. "You had a girlfriend where you came from?"
Tristan burst out laughing, "Yeah right a girlfriend, i could never settle down man, i was all over the place in the girl scene which is rather odd for someone who gets bullied huh." He chuckled again. "How about you Ted you have a girl back home."

Ted laughed with him. "Nah, not me man. I did have one or two, but nothing lasting. I was more focussed on my studies, which as you may expect didn't go down too well with the ladies. I was going to wait until i was out of uni before even thinking about getting me a girl, but that plan kind of died when my powers manifested. So, I'm now going to take the focus I had in my studies and redirect it at learning to control my powers. Shouldn't take me too long." Ted didn't know why he couldn't control his powers, he just knew he had to surpass it. He then realised that every turn of conversation was always going back to powers. He made a mental note not to do it again before continuing, "So where are you from anyway? You never said."
"The country man, Ohio to be exact. The land is so flat out there you can see for miles. None of these hills holding back pure horsepower. Yeah i was never one to studie for school but anything elsei would study, no problem, knowledge is power right." Tristan grabbed a rag and started wiping the engine even though it was already spotless. "I never went to England, i was supposed to once for a school advancing program but my parents wouldn't cough up the dough."

"Ohio? Cool, where I come from it's a bit like that, with gently rolling hills as far as the eye can see. I used to love the view, especially from a plane as you fly over. Because of all the fields, it looks like a big quilt, with the roads like sitches running across them." Ted shook his head, "I've never really understood why people don't study for school, it's always seemed so important to me. I would study absolutly anything, I must have been the only kid who had his parents tell him to stop studying and go outside and play." Ted laughed the memory, it had always baffled the other kids that he would rather work than go out and play with them. "Oh, I went on every school trip i could. I always enjoyed visiting new places, and seeing the different cultures. I went on quite a few exchanges, and i kept in contact with a few of them until I was sent out here. Money never seemed to be an issue."
Tristan listenedto the way Ted discribed his country. "You miss it there don't you, you can tell by the exquiset detail you put in. Ah well being a ladies man isn't all that good. It gets old after a whil you know. Just sitting around looking for the next big thing and never seeing into it. After a while you just want to find a girl that you would like to be with for more then a week." Tristan shook his head, he couldn't belive he had just said that. "Wow i never knew that about myself."

"Yeah. I miss home. But I can't go back there, I wouldn't get past the airport with the police after me. That, and I have no passport. Or money." Ted listened to the way Geo described himself. Then laughed. "Yeah, I'm sure having all the girls chasing you all the time kind of removes the challenge. That's what I like in life, the challenge. Having the girls lining up to fall into your lap must get kind of repetitive. Even so, I'm sure there's a lot of guys out there that wouldn't say no to that." Ted scratched the back of his head thoughtfully. "I was never quite like that. I always seemed to be friends with the girls, rarely anything more."
"Yeah it has it's moments but i have yet to meet that girl that really means something, well besides her that is."The tapped the side of his car and laughed. "Man i want to get her back on the road again. Been a few weeks ya know. But yeah i guess that my chances for schooling went down the drain huh."

Ted laughed with him, "Yeah she sure is beautiful. Why don't you go on the road again? When it stops raining, I mean." Ted swiftly carried on talking, in an attempted to cover up his verbal blunder. "You should have tried taking school seriously. But, you seem to be doing alright without it. Well, better than me, anyway. So far all I have is the clothes I'm standing up in, and," He reached into his pocket and pulled out the remains of his money, "$5, 33cents. Not alot to go by. That's why I'm living at the mansion; I get bedding, food, and clothes free. But, I need to go out and find a job. You seem to live in yours."
"Well i prefer this over living where it pretty much anounces, 'Hey over here' ya know." He chuckled. "Yeah but like i said man if that thing doesn't work you're always free to hang here. Maybe we could spar some time, you know just to practice our powers."

"That's kinda the whole point. We're not in hiding, we're showing that we can stand up for ourselves and aren't going to get pushed around. But sure, if the mansion doesn't work out I'd be more than happy to hang here for awhile. It does sound like fun." Ted scraatched the back of his head again, "Yeah, maybe we could spar, though if I went all furry on you you'd have to kind of pen me up in some sort of rock cage. Though, unless it's any stronger than your rockfists, you'd probably have to resort to beating me senseless." He gave a grin, "I seem to be even stronger when I change. So do you just service mutant cars or do you let the normal people pay you money too?" It had just occured to Ted that, considering Tristan's views on mutant-human relations, he might not be all that keen on helping them.
Tristan thought for a second. "Not sure yet i mean human's money is still good and it would be kind of hard to tell the difference, maybe charge nothing for mutants." Tristan chuckled. "Doesn't really matter to me noone said i had to like them to fix there car right, besides what am i gunna do put up a big sign that says 'Mutants only' that would draw positive attention." He burst out laughing.

"True, we all have the same dollars. Maybe not a big sign, no, that'd not be great for your outlook. I was just wondering, considering your opinion of them and all." Of them? Ted had never considered humans and mutants as two seperate things before, it was just something that you had to deal with, like everything else in life. But now he was starting to realise the big difference between humans and mutants, and how important it was for Xavier's dream.
Tristan looked around the shop, rumaging through different cabnets and bucket. 'would have sworn i had an older one around here.' He thought to him self. He opened up a massive tool chest. "There it is," He grabbed a tool box and lied down on a scooter rolling under the car. Then he heard Ted stop short. "What were you wondering about humans Ted sorry i had a thought." He started to put the new fuel injector into place.
