The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

<Woah> Kaz slowed way down as he matched pace and movements with Iara. Moving a bit closer to the girl, he would lean in and then back off, and move around her a bit. When he faced Nika, "Thank you Kitten," Winking at her, "You've got some nice moves yourself." He had watched her for a bit from the corner of his eye since his focus was his dancing partner Iara.

Iara smiled sweetly at the compliment.
"Thanks Nika. You're not so bad yourself."
Iara smirked as she followed Kaz with her eyes as he danced around her. She kept her moves controled but you would think she was just losing herself in the music as she tossed her hair and worked her hips.

Nicki smiled as she got pulled along with Nika. She seemed very in control and was a bit stronger than Nicki had originally given her credit for. And although Nicki was really more interested in dancing with Kaz, it was probably good to create some distance since she was still a pleasant shade of red.
"Cute ears" Iara smiled at Nika.
"Yeah, just don't pet her. Last time someone did they had to pay her $50 to be her friend" Nicki chuckled, relaxing a bit and dancing a little more, still hardly as good as the two girls next to her.
Nika's ears twiched in Nicki's direction when she spoke up and told Iara about the whole ears incident. She couldn't help but laugh at how Nicki stated things. "Oh you hush. It wasn't like that."

"Of course not, not at all" Nicki smiled, as she looked over at Kaz dancing on his own. Nicki watched idley as she kept up her own pace.
"Not to sound like I'm hittin on either one of you but do you guys come here a lot? This is my first time..." Nicki asked, taking her eyes away from Kaz and turning back to the girls.
"Well, this is my first time here but i plan to come here alot. This place is awesome." Nika continued dancing slow with the music. "Oh and don't worry I won't think you're hitting on me for asking that." Nika smiled and gave Nicki a playful wink.

The bartender turned to the man who just broke a glass. "What do you think you're doing?" His voice was very strict and annoyed. "We don't allow those kinds of actions here. If you do something like that again, you'll be removed from this establishment." Ducking down he grabbed a hand brush and dustpan, handing it to the man, "Clean it up. I'm adding it to your bill." He handed the man the water he asked for, taking the money for the drink and the broken glass. "And keep your self in check, we don't need any one going out of control here."
It was about the time that Nail entered the club. The greeter guy had slapped green bracelet on his arm, which he scrutinized over for a short bit. He was dressed well than he normally was. He had bought some better clothes for coming out here. His usual ragged hoody was replaced with black tee shirt, which seemed maybe a bit too small for him. He was wearing a new set of baggy blue jeans, rather than his old beat up cargo pants.
Hs hair actually looked combed for once, not as ragged as it usually was. He almost looked like a completely different person.
“Haven’t been to one of these places in awhile,” He commented to himself quietly, “Never really liked dressing up much…”
He knew his idea of dressing up was pretty limited. In elementary school kids used o call him pigpen. They way he looked now most would never have guessed. He waded his way through crowds of people. All of them were unmistakably mutants. Most people were flaunting it, making part of their getup. One guy had a flaming Mohawk, and a gild was wearing a dress made out of plants… When he finally got to the bar, he sat down at an empty stool and stretch languidly.
“What’ll it be?” It was another rooky bartender who had made her way over to him. She was pretty cute, but he could tell she had just got the job cause she was wearing one of those funny ‘hi, my name is’ name tags.
Nail looked off into the crowds, as if he was really thinking about what he was going to have. He then fished into his pocket and put his hand on the table with a slightly audible jingle of something.
“This should cover about every single person here for a night…”
The girl gave him a reproachful look, possibly wondering if he was a trouble maker. However, as he lifted his hand, her jaw dropped wide open. He smiled at her over the pile of glistening, uncut diamonds. The pile weighed about two pounds, and was probably worth near ten grand. He extended his hand, and gently lifted her jaw up again, bringing her back around slightly.

"Not to sound like I'm hittin on either one of you but do you guys come here a lot? This is my first time..."
Iara laughed and smiled sweetly.
"It is my first time but I plan to become a regular."
As her body hugged the beat she suddenly felt thirsty so she went to the bar for a refill. As she leaned into the bar waiting for the bartender's attention she saw the current customer reach into his pocket.
“This should cover about every single person here for a night…”
She watched in awe as he dropped the diamonds. Some people just had the luck in the power draw. He ordered a coke and quickly she leaned in and took it from his hands knowing he could order another one.
"Thanks for the drink Guapo."
She kissed his cheek and dissapeared back onto the dance floor.
Nika noticed Iara come back with a refilled glass. "Hey, you didn't get enough to share with everyone? I'm just kidding but now you made me thirsty too." She looked to Nicki for a moment. "You gonna be ok here with Kaz and Iara? I'll go get us a couple more drinks. COke right?"
Nika made her way off the dance floor and up to the bar. She saw a nice dressed guy there leaning on the bar with a mound of shiny things in front of him. Looking to the bartender she asked for two cokes then turned back tot he man. "Do you eat those like peanuts?"

Iara watched Nika head up to the bar and kept up her moves without wasting a drop of coke. She dipped under a few people and dodged getting the hem of her dress set fire to by a guy with a flaming mohawk. She laughed as the music went into another crazy beat with lots of low tones.

"Not to sound like I'm hittin on either one of you but do you guys come here a lot? This is my first time..." He wasn't facing Nicki when she asked the question, so he didn't know who she directed the question at. When he did look at her, she wasn't looking at him, but at Nika and Iara. That told him who the question was directed at. Listening as the two girls answered Nicki, he noticed Iara make a motion that she was headed to the bar. Kaz smiled politely at her and watched as she left. Dancing alone just wasn't as fun. Nika danced to the beat of her own drum, with her glowsticks in hand, he'd probably just get in her way.
Which left Nicki. She was a bit more loose now than she was when he first met her, which was good, but, she could always loosen up a bit more. Moving behind her, he put his hands on her shoulders as he moved close to her. Feeling her tense up, he leaned in and spoke in her ear softly, "Relax, close your eyes." One hand ran the length of her arm until he gently took her hand in his, the other slid down her back until it reached the side of her hip. "Let the beat take you, the music fill you, immagine you're the world, there's no one here, but you and the music." His body was nearly touching hers, as they danced.

Iara was spinning more and more but she needed to hear one of her favorite songs. She ran up to the dj booth and began making a request. The beat suddenly dropped and a surprisingly clubby Brazillian song came on. Magalena by Sergio Mendes.
The new sound coming out from the speakers caught Nika's ears and perked them up. "Well, that's different", she commented softly. She started getting int to groove of the beat as she waited for the two cokes she had ordered.
