The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Not a problem, I'll be there. *Delphi says trying to think how to broach with Siren that he needs to watch the kids all next weekend durring the days with out her.*
Call me Delphi, educated gentalman like your self will no doubt get it. *Delphi says pausing at the door before ducking out into the hallway pretty much exstatic, the empty hallway gets her happy dance.*
*Delphi arrives at the main teaching hospital's morgue exactly on time and a little out of breath. She dumps her stuff in a locker and gets dressed in scrubs. Entering the room with no time to spare, but on time.* I'm here. *She says a little sheepish, she meant to be early.*
Dr. VanDeKamp looks up at the clock. He's standing over the body, already to go himself. "And directly on time." He smiles behind his mask, it showing in his eyes. "Just the two of us working on this one. We've not alerted the family to the deceased, hmm, condition, yet, so we're going to be going this one by the book for the most part."
Sounds like a good idea, starting with a Y incision, then I assume?*Delphi ask setting up the dual tape recorders for her and Dr. VanDeKamp to take notes from later.*
"Well since you and your lab-partner already did the preliminary cut-work- we can just pin back- and go from- Uh-huh-- there. Well! I can see now... Yes indeed certainly mutant. Your observations, Ms Delphi?"
Well obviously the presence of three hearts would be a good indicator of mutation, the real question would be if all three reach the entire body or if each has an individual section of the body it supplies blood too. *Delphi says curiously.*
"An interesting query, indeed. Additionally--" Dr. VanDeKamp is checking the chart, "... according to this, she died of heart failure. That is indeed curious, as with two additional hearts, and... hmmm.... an apparent history of heart trouble. Alright. Well. Let's get to work."
Maybe the extra hearts put too much strain in one area of her chest, if they didn't always beat at the same pace they would be working against eachother. *Delphi says getting ready to help with extraction of the digestive system. Once that is out of the way they will have a much better look of the chest.*
"Certainly a hypothesis worth looking into. We'll need a more conclusive medical history. If she was ever diagnosed with an arrhythmia palpitations... which would account for a doctor, unaware of her mutant status, hearing multiple heart beats and assuming they were all coming from one heart. The resulting medication could have caused the three healthy hearts to become stressed-- Careful, don't drop that! Ah, good, record the weight then come back here, please. Quick now."
Yes of course. *Delphi says struggling with the intestines a bit, there are a lot. She makes short work of it and returns to Dr, VanDeKamp's side quickly.* So you know a lot about me, but I know practiaclly nothing about you. *Delphi comments as she leans over the corpse and re-pops out the entire rib cage placing it on a seperate examination table.*
