*Delphi sighs,* Great so we need the 'GPBV', *Med-student nick name for the great big picture book of viruses.* this is going to be straight research for the next few hours huh? At least we can ignore about a third of the viruses, that is definatly not a plant virus. *Delphi says reconsidering the structure, and then thinking aloud.* If anything its complexity resembles the AIDS viruse but it's formation is wrong, and it wasn't attached to T-cells.

"I think you're missing the point. We're going to have to be extra careful around this, until we figure out what it is. Unidentified virus- it could be contagious without our knowledge." He says, frowning, looking through the microscope again. ".... it seemed to be attached to the DNA..." he muses.

Attracted . . to DNA? That is strange, what do you mean? *Delphi asks, trying to figure out if it is chasing DNA or attaching its self to DNA.*

Dr. VanDeKamp sighs. "I think perhaps we should order some more comprehensive bloodtests and go from there."

Well then I can do my job as an intern and do the running for blood and equiptment, this is going to take all week, huh? *Delphi suggests as she gets out the request form from one of the drawers. She hands them filled out for Dr. VanDeKamp to sign.*

"That would be absolutely fantastic." he agrees, suddenlly shooting a look at the wall clock. "I've got an appointment I've got to get to- think you can finish up here?"

Okay, not a problem. *She says as she gets the stuff together to send out and put up a leave alone sign.* Meet you back here on Monday then? *Delphi asks.*

"Of course, of coures." He says with a smile. "I look forward to it with great pleasure."

I bet you do, now go before you're late. *Delphi says smiling and putting everything away and cleaning up. She gets the body rewraped and put in the cooler. She then grabs her stuff and takes the papers to drop off at the hospital's blood bank, she talks to the lonely loser on duty and brightens his day. She also extracts a promise that everything she is asking for will be delievered promptly before Monday to the lab. From there Del catchs the bus and heads home.*

*Delphi arrives for her morning classes and then meets up with Dr. VanDeKamp in his office when they usually meet in the morgue. She has to deal with his witch of a secretary.* Hello, umm I'm here to meet with Dr. VanDeKamp.

"Mmm hmm. Of course you are." She sneers. Her meaning is clear. Whore

*Del couldn't care less what the girl thought of her.* Will you go inform him that Delphi Starling is here?

"Sure thiiiing." She says, oh so cloyingly. She puts a finger on the intercom, and says. "Doctor VanDeKamp? Delphi's here to see you." She lifts her finger. "He'll come out when he's ready for you." She smirks. She hasn't actually pressed the button.

*Del can tell she is lying but she doesn't want to reveal her mutant status.* Thank you. *She says sitting down in the waiting room, thinking about what to do. She decides to handel this in a non confrontation way. She waits a few minutes and then gets up and says,* I'll be right back I need to use the restroom. If he comes out tell him I'll be right back? *Del then heads out down the hall a little bit.*

"Sure thing. He must be busy. You know how he is- such an important man." Again, the meaning is clear. Too important to bother or be bothered by the likes of you.
