The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"My darling girl- we are going to be running every test in the gambit we can on this poor soul." He says, a small smile forming as he gets slightly excited.
I can redraw the blood but I think you need to sign out the equiptment and slides. *Delphi says excited and ready to get her hands dirty, figurativly. They are both very well gloved.*
Believe me I don't have a problem with the work, besides it will be the end of the semester in a week, I'll have lots of time to dedicate to this. *Delphi informs him, as she redraws blood samples and labels containers.*
Nothing set in stone, and even if we do end up doing something, it will only be for the week of Christmas. We have over a month till school starts back up. *Delphi points out, she didn't really think they would be working through Christmas but if she needs to she will. A project like this doesn't come around every day and this could make her career which is aside from how intrested she is all on her own.*
I'm definatly not going to regret this, I have a feeling it will be big though.. *Delphi says tilting her head in an 'I have a funny feeling about this way', but no vision of immenent danger comes so she waves it and Dr. VanDeKamp off.* Go get the suppiles, I am almost ready for the slides.
*Delphi humms busily to herself as she get the last of her stuff set up. She rummages through her backpack and pulls out her Bloodborne Pathogens book just to make sure she is up on structure for commom viruses, she is but it never hurts to study.*
Execllent, *Delphi says hopping off her chair and collecting slides, which is a bitch to do with golves. She gets them all lines up and does blood samples on all of them and mixing in the proper amount of dilutes to get a clearer slide. She slips them into the microscopoes, all realitivly quickly.* so, you first Dr.? *She asks smirking.*
"Please." He says, and goes to look through the microscope. He spends a few moments after adjusting the view before comng up. "Take a look." He gestures to the scope.
*Delphi leans in and takes a look, she spots lots of things she regcognizes from her text book, everything except,* The cell in the lower right of the slide, what is that? It has the basic structure of a virus . . ., *Delphi adjusts the zoom,*. . . and it looks like it is creating long amino acid chains, that is definatly a viruse but umm I am not sure which. *Delphi admits dissapointed that she can't recognize it.*
"Mmm. Good girl, you tell the truth." He says, leaning against one of the tables. "there are over 80 families of viruses not to mention all the individual strains. Even I don't know them all by sight... And that is not one I recognize." he says, slightly gravely.
