The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Yes, work is a good thing. But we really don't have anything to do until the family gets here. Just pinning back the skin and re-removing the breast bone. That'll take us all of two minutes. You're feeling bad. Let me help."
"Well, I'm not the one you're arguing with. I will probably agree with every word you say, which may therefor make you feel a little validated and possibly a little bit better." He points out.
Yes well that I definatly will not argue with. *Delphi replies smiling a little.* He is being stubborn, and a little unreasonable and maybe I am too but I guess it comes down to how we see the world and we're just a little off from eachother lately.
See that is the thing, not really. I mean yes they are involved . . . oh how to explain this, you can not talk about something with anyone, ever right?*Delphi asks, she really need someone to talk to but she needs to know that this is a private conversation, never to be repeated.*
Cute but I'm serious, Siren has a . . . let's call her sister to avoid confusion, but she is not his sister in a weird way. Anyways Siren is very protective of his 'sister' and turns a blind eye to her actions which are not even in the ball park of safe or sane. I told him if he let her anywheres near the babies, well I wasn't nice about it. Siren can't see a problem with her and I can't not see a problem so we are at an impasse. Because he wants me to appoligise, and I can't. *Delphi says, realizing this sounds petty.* I mean I am not just saying she is dangerous, she is. And to everyone, Siren included. *Delphi explains, proving she still is concerned for Siren, the idiot.*
Somehow I had more than a feeling you were going to say that. *Del smirks,* But I appreciate you listening none the less. I guess the question Siren and I need to settle is how important is this question . . . but it is pretty obvious, I mean people don't fight for weeks over stupid things . . .*Del says trailing off, not completely sure.*
"It's not stupid. You're protecting your children, and there is nothing more important than that." He leans back. "If you want my advice, sit him down, tell him to be quiet, and explain exactly why you can't apologize. If he still demands one after that- well, then he's definitely a prick."
