The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"No I haven't seen her. I was asking for her. She didn't fight at all actually. When it first started the one reason i didn't run away was beause she was still up there. Then Mike came and helped out."

Daria cocked an eyebrow. It wasn't in her nature to back down from anything. She would not be pushed around. But she smiled back at Tricity who gave out such a soothing and friendly feeling. "sure. And one more thing. "while Kage was in my head i noticed he really is a good person. It's buried deep in there but its there."
"I'm not sure. I'm supposed to be taking it easy..." *she said, looking at cassiel mostly, since he knew of her 'condition'.* "I was thinking tomorrow. Why?"
"Well, I know that if one of us were planning on going to pay a house visit to someone who assaulted students and tried to set fire to the building, you'd either forbid it or not let them go alone."
"I don't know if that's the best idea, guys. He might be a little hostile if you come with me." *tricity explained as janie came over and jumped on her back, nearly knocking her off the stool. she picked the girl up and held her in her arms.*
(ooc: sorry about the wait guys. i was having some major technical difficulties.)
"Well...I guess so. Maybe there can be some apologies exchanged in the process. I need to head back downstairs. We'll go later in the day, tomorrow most likely." *tricity stood up and said goodbye, taking janie and herself back downstairs.*
"Goodnight, Ms. Tipper. 'Night, Janie." Mike sighed, rolling back toward the rest of the room. "So... I hope he really isn't going to be violent tomorrow. I was hoping for a few days to recuperate before I fight again."

Daria watched Tricity leave. "Well, i get better as time passes but i don't think i should've teleported because the process forces me to degenerate my molecular structure and then regenerate it. It's kinda like tearing wounds open over and over again. I don't think he'll get violent though."
Mike shrugged. "Hopefully he's a bit more opposed to trashing his own house than he was to trashing ours."
He rolled over onto his back as a particularly close lightning bold lit the sky, followed by an equally disturbing thunderclap. He looked irritatedly at the window. "Yes, rain now, not a few hours ago when we really could have USED water."
