The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Juka decided that white and blue would be his colors for tonight's adventures. He was going out to a club with his favorite little masochist, Saph, and he had to look his very best. How he had convinced Saph to even go to a club with him he still wasn't sure but the fact was that man needed a little bit of fun and loosening up, possibly even a nice girl and Juka was the one to help with all of those things. But first came the important task of choosing the perfect outfit. Perfect, in tonight's case, was a very elegant and simple white dress with long flowing skirts and blue highlights. Long, in this case, was almost more of an understatement as the skirts were voluptuous enough that it took skill to learn to walk in them in the flowing perfection that was needed to pull them off properly. Add to his many skirts were a pair of stiletto heels that added almost 3 inches to his 6 foot frame and he was set. Saph, if he knew how long Juka had spent learning to walk in this outfit, would probably be disgusted with him but at least he knew he looked amazing. Kind of like an exotic princess, in his own estimation.
Once dressed he gave his kitties some food before opening the door to his balcony and stepping outside. He was going to meet Saph at the club itself, it just worked better that way since he was fairly certain the other man would have gotten impatient at the amount of time that Juka spent on his hair and makeup anyway. Once outside he bubbled and took to the skies, floating to the club and landing in the alley outside. There didn't seem to be much point in renting a taxi or anything like that when he could float just as successfully as any car could get him there and avoid all the nasty traffic in the process. Besides, why spend an hour on his hair only to have the wind or the rain mess it up as soon as he stepped outside?
Juka stepped out of the alley, head held high. His hair was done done up in an elaborate perm and he beamed his best smile at the security guard standing at the door of the club. Technically Juka was underage, being only a couple months away from 19, but that rarely stopped him from actually getting into clubs and drinking as much or as little as he desired. First, he looked older when he was all dressed up and second, most security guards were open to a little creative convincing, at least at the sort of clubs he frequented. "Hello there, my sweet," he bowed to the security guard standing at the door who just sort of gaped at him. "I can just walk on in there right?" He gave his best seductive look.
The guard blinked a couple of times, trying to clear his head of the rather bizarre situation. "You have id?" After a pout Juka nodded, presenting his fake id to the guard who took a brief look at it and then handed it back, waving him through the door.
Once inside Juka went directly to the bar and asked the bartender for a drink with an umbrella. Because tiny umbrellas made everything better. After that all that was left was to wait for Saphirus to arrive and to watch the people inside the club. He was, as expected, the most well dressed man there and if he were honest (and when it came to how fabulous he looked he was always honest) he was the most well dressed person there period. The woman would either be jealous of him or they would want to get with him and, honestly, either one was fine with Juka. Maybe he might even find someone to spend the early hours of the morning with him tonight; it had been too long in his opinion.

By the time Saph arrived, a small line had formed in front of the club, with the bouncer at the front picking who was allowed in, and who wasn't. Saph looked around slowly, running his hand through his recently cut hair nervously. The older mutant had never even tried to enter a place like this before; living on the streets, you went to bars, or walked into the store for malt liquor when you were having a slow day. Nightclubs? Never. He silently thanked himself for getting his hair cut at that high-end mall... Even he thought it looked good. He wore his favorite leather coat that he only brought out for special occasions, with a white T under it, and jeans. Honestly, it was the best he had ever dressed in his life, which wasn't saying much.
He got to the front, the bouncer eyed him, and said plainly. "Nice hair. ID?" He showed his ID, and was permitted. A grin formed on his hair as he walked on past, and into the Club, trying to ignore the loud music.
Part of him started to wonder why he was here; he wasn't the type to go to places like this... Oh well, looking around, it was worth trying out; what with all of the scantly clad women shaking their stuff left and right. He wasn't the type to complain. Now where was Juka?
That was a stupid question. Was it ever hard to find Juka? Nope. He stood out in a crowd; his willingness to do so was something that Saph couldn't help but respect. That, and his ability to hit things really hard. Saph strolled on up, and grinned as he took the seat next to the flamboyant cross dresser. "Hows it goin, kid? Tender, i'll have what ever's good on tap." Beer tended to taste best out of the tap, and it was generally cheeper, so it was a win/win for him. He paid the man cash, as he didn't have a card with which to open a tab.
He eyed Juka's drink, and shrugged, not really surprised that he might not be a beer drinker.
"Stayin safe? I hope not." He gave a grin, and winked to a passing woman, who just rolled her eyes, which made him laugh a little. No, he wasn't aiming to score with anyone tonight, but it was fun to act like it anyways.

A bottle hit the glass tabletop of the bar the hand that was on the bottle moments before reached up to scratch the owners chin. A little stubble but nothing to scruffy, it wasn’t smooth either, and it complemented his choice of eyewear for the evening as well, not many people could pull off an eye patch but his confidence proved that he could wear it and still have girls looking at him.
The fabric of his shirt stretched and rippled around his arms as he reached for a napkin to wipe the ring of water that formed around under the bottle, while a lone icy blue eye searched the club looking for some fun for the night. It was the first time he had actually really gone out looking for fun in a long time. He was after all still handling the break up, some would say it was a bit to long to still be trying to get over someone but he had one thing they didn’t a memento or the reason why she left him.
His hand dropped the napkin next to the bottle and then traced up to the patch, it was he feared a memento that he could never truly lose, the eye was gone and what was left was it was useless Doc couldn’t do anything about it and even if he could Sam wouldn’t have wanted it healed just yet. There was still a reason as to why he still hadn’t tried to heal it. His powers were growing and adapting and he didn’t want to halt the process, to be able to see someone without actually seeing anyone, such a gift shouldn’t be hindered with a second eye, it was bad enough when he activated this power with one eye, if he had two it would be a mess.
A curious eye lingered at a table of girls four were visible but he sure there was more, there was always more they traveled in packs, safety in numbers as it were. Numbers was something he didn’t have. Normally he didn’t think about this but with his heart still slowly recovering and already being a few drinks down the hole he felt tonight was the first night of the next chapter in his life, one without a girlfriend.
Right eyebrow lowering and scanning the four girls Sam picked the one that said the most about herself without saying a word. She was after all across the club past the dance floor and impossible to hear from where he was, however clothing and posture said more about her than words could. She was average height, brunette, her eyes from what he could tell were a lighter color from where he was standing, even as far away as he was his gaze could pick that up at least. Looking down her face Sam spotted her figure and nodded, he had already decided she was going to be his target, the girl that got to spend the evening with him.
The only problem was her friends, he had no problem with other girls being around but he knew the habits of packs of the opposite sex, pairs or greater that’s how they traveled and seeing as he was by himself he doubted he would get the face time he was looking for.
He needed a wing man… eye traveling around the club he was distracted by a guy at the bar dressed similar to a woman, next to him was a guy in a leather jacket, they were chatting, were they gay? Sam wondered, if they weren’t they both had potential, the one stood out, good conversation started the other one, he just looked chill, and chill was something Sam had in spades.
Picking up his drink and walking over to the two men at the bar and stood behind them then interjected himself into their line of view without standing in-between them. ”Gentlemen,” he nodded his head to both of them and then waved to the bartender, ”another round for these two on me!” finishing his bottle and placing it on the counter he added, ”One for me as well!” it was wingman protocol to buy them a round of drinks.
”My name’s Sam!” reaching out his hand to the two men starting with the cross dresser then turning his attention to the one in the jacket, ”How’s the evening treating you guys?” he asked trying to start with small talk before he built up to the favor he would ask them.
As it turned out Juka didn't have to wait long for his partner in crime (ok so they hadn't exactly committed any crimes together yet but that could change at any time) to arrive. A quick and covert look up and down the older man confirmed that his sense of fashion wasn't going to embarrass Juka which he was thankful for. Normally he didn't care all that much one way or another, but this was a night on the town that would (hopefully) end with him getting together with someone and having a fashion nightmare with him wouldn't help the situation. He wasn't too sure about the jeans but the hair was nice and the jacket also. He made a mental note to offer some options for replacing the jeans at a later date and smiled brightly at Saph, getting up for a characteristic flamboyant bow. "So good to finally see you, Saph darling."
Juka watched Saph's eyes as they winked and followed the passing woman. "Good taste," Juka approved. "You should go for it." He knew enough that Saph wasn't too likely to be receptive to Juka's advances and he wasn't really Juka's type anyway so he kept his usual flirting to a minimum. That didn't mean, however, that he wouldn't be the perfect friend and try to help him find someone if he did decide he wanted to be more intimate with a nice girl later on in the night. Or a not so nice girl if it came to it.
"Gentlemen, another round for these two on me! One for me as well!”
At those words Juka turned and once again got up out of his seat to tender a bow to the stranger. Or perhaps not stranger as there was something vaguely familiar about him, though he wasn't able to place where he had seen the other man before. "How positively lovely of you to buy us drinks and an absolute pleasure to meet you." The eye patch was a little unusual but aside from that he was rather good looking and if someone bought you drinks that was always an invitation to at least do a little flirting if not more. Besides, unusual had never been something to turn him off or away. "And what brings a good looking man such as yourself over here to speak to us?" He looked Sam up and down taking no pains to hide his admiration. "I'm Juka Miami and this is Saph." He gestured to his companion and extended his hand for shaking.

Saph grinned as Juka made his theatrical introduction. Kids, these days. He looked back to the girl Juka mentioned, and shrugged. "Nah, She's prolly got more colds than a seasick sailor if you know what I mean." He wasn't the type to go after random chicks, anyways, never had been. He liked to get a girl in mind, pursue her until she was his, and be with her as long as she would have him. He kinda had a girl in mind already. A grin came to his features. And then someone approached
Saph blinked a little bit as a guy with an eye patch seriously just walked on up and ordered them drinks. Jesus, you couldn't make this stuff up... He shrugged as he downed the rest of his beer, and set the glass on the bar for the bartender to refill. Saph remained silent as the introductions were made, shaking the guy's hand firmly. "Nice eyepatch... how'd you get it?" His opinion on this dude would depend fully on how he answered this question. If the eye patch was fake, he might punch him...People who wore that kinda stuff for kicks deserved a good beating. Now, if he'd gotten it in a power struggle to the death, or fighting sharks, that was acceptable. "Now Ima say this off the bat, to save you from any heartbreak or somethin, but If you're buyin me a drink with intentions other than making friends, you'll be disappointed by the end of the night. I don't swing that way."
Saph felt he should get that out of the way, in case the eye-patch wearing guy was thinking about it. The older mutant wasn't too familiar with the club system, but in bars you rarely bought strangers drinks without some sort of intention behind it. His drink was put in front of him, he took a good gulp, and set the glass down again.

Feeling a little uncomfortable when the man in the dress who named himself as Juka eyed Sam up and down. It was a stare he was familiar with but it he was used to it coming from the opposite sex never the same sex. Even when the opposite gazed upon him like a piece of meat he often had a girlfriend around his arm to ward them off. Extending his hand Sam shook Juka’s never the less hoping they could get on the same page as him.
Before he was about to answer Juka the man in the jacket asked him about his eye, which was covered by a patch. He didn’t really take offense to it in fact he was used to it by now and instead of coming up with one of his round about answers the alcohol spoke the truth for him, ”Lost it in Romania,” he said simply before laughing at Saph’s next comment which was what he was about to answer to Juka before Saph asked him about his eye.
Shaking his head quickly Sam laughed, ”No, no I don’t swing that way either! In fact my girlfriend just ended it with me not to long ago…” his eye locked onto the drinks that were placed at the bar in front of them and Sam grabbed his and started to take a sip, ”You could say their friendly intentions, could also be viewed as a business decision if you want to look at it that way.” Sam said with a devious smile, ”You see I’m looking for a few wingmen tonight!” he said calmly as he pointed over to the table where his girl and a few of her friends were sitting.
”The group of girls over there looked like they needed some rescuing seeing as every Joe Shmoe is going over there to pick one of them off from the other group.” Sam shrugged, ”Me being me I thought, hey what’s a good way to make sure these girls have a good night without creeps flocking around them, then I thought, why not head over there?” he looked back to the two men ”Only problem is there is four of them and one of me, now you can see my problem right?” Sam asked curiously as he looked from one man to the other, ”Drinks will be on me the rest of the night if you guys are up for it.”
"Nah, She's prolly got more colds than a seasick sailor if you know what I mean."
Juka grimaced which quickly transformed itself into a grin. "Well, its good to have standards." Despite what anyone might say, Juka himself did have standards and they were relatively high. He flirted with almost everyone, no doubt about it, but didn't get nearly as much action as he sometimes led others to believe. So what if he liked both men and woman, that didn't mean he wasn't still picky about who he agreed to sleep with and even pickier about who he decided to have a relationship with. And yes, surprisingly, he had been in a relationship in the past although perhaps not in the typical monogomous sense. He was adventurous and liked to try new things, which meant that anyone he was with had to feel similarly. So yes, his one relationship had been and open one and although it didn't last all that long it was fun while it lasted and ended posatively. In fact, it probably would have lasted much longer had his parents not forced him to move back to America.
”No, no I don’t swing that way either! In fact my girlfriend just ended it with me not to long ago…”
Juka pouted at the new information as was his right. It seemed he would not be getting together with the cute eye-patched newcomer after all but his announcement that he was looking for wingmen and his finger pointing at a group of women more than made up for it. Juka made a brief display of dissapointment at his lost chance with the guy before him and then another brief moment of observing the girls that were the targets before nodding happily. "The only catch is that I get dibs on the one with the black hair," he stated. "That is my condition."
Really, even if his 'condition' wasn't met he'd still help. Not only did it sound like fun but all of the girls were attractive and it seemed like an interesting time to be had all around. But there was just something about the black haired one, something that made him believe that she was a little left of normal, so to speak, and Juka liked nothing more than a partner who was a little bit different or a lot different if it came to that.

"Romania? Huh..." Short answers like that usually meant that the guy didn't wanna talk about it. Saph wasn't gonna press the issue.
Saph eyed the group as Eyepatch spoke, nodding slowly. Yeah, they were your average girls night out regiment. There was the two blondes with big ta tas, the dark brunette that didn't talk much, the average looking filler chicks, and the slightly heavy one that drove them there, and was in charge of getting the group back intact.
She would be the biggest obstacle, literally and figuratively. " Free drinks, huh? Alright, I'm in. I'll be the chubby chaser, but I ain't gonna follow through... I ain't aiming to score, so I'll only be able to distract her so long." He took a good few gulps of his beer. "But here's the deal. I ain't gonna do this if I don't got at least a few more drinks in me, and they will just be getting drunker and more willing anyways. Why don't we just relax, get a cover story going, too.. You know..." He looked to Sam. "Like you... You're, like... An archaeologist, and you lost that eye in a struggle against cannibals on a treasure hunt." He turned to Juka, and took another good gulp. "You. You're a... Well, you're you, man. I think that will be enough. I can vouch for both of you. I'll be the normal guy."
He finished the beer, and placed the empty glass on the counter, pointing to Sam when the man asked for payment. "S'on his tab." Another beer arrived in his hand. "Now we gotta plan this out right if we want it to work... Any ideas?"

A smile broke out over Sam’s face as it was clear he had found the two wingmen he was looking for, one of them was even willing to distract the friend that would more than likely C-block him or Juka. It however took Sam a second to realize the dark haired chick that Juka was talking about was one in the same with the brunette he was eyeing. He looked back over to where the girls were and his smile faded for a second, the blondes were both beautiful but they weren’t for him, he didn’t feel like drooling when he looked at them.
”Really?” Sam asked Juka as he placed a hand on his shoulder so he could get his attention, ”I’d figure you’d go for the two blondes seeing as the driver is taken care of,” nodding his head to Saph, Sam grinned, ”You have my thanks for that,” looking back to Juka he continued, ”I don’t think I could handle two women of that caliber…” Sam smirked, ”Sides they look more your type anyways…” shrugging and taking a sip of his drink he added, ”I also could be saying this because I have a thing brunettes,” Sam laughed slightly as he looked back to the brunette.
”There aren’t any other conditions that you could think of besides her?” Sam asked curiously as he was coming to the realization that his need for wingmen might have been a bit counter productive to his main objective.
When Saph came up with a cover story Sam smirked slightly, ”That’s not too bad but, treasure hunters been done and is often the most difficult to pull off, I was thinking something along the lines of zoologist, lost my eye in brazil quite recently to a jaguar he was well hidden and I wasn’t expecting him, got the jump on me and took my eye, I managed to get away when he realized I was more trouble than I was worth.” yes he had been preparing this story for some time and was intending to use it.
”Juka… how about a fashion designer of some kind?” he didn’t know but shrugged throwing the idea out there to see if Juka wanted the bait, it was the best thing he could come up with on such short notice. Finishing his beer and exchanging one with the bartender Sam looked to Saph, then smirked, ”You’re a bartender for Mike’s Bar, the owner is a friend of mine so if any of them question you about the place I’ll cover for ya, just know their burgers are the best in all of NYC!” he paused and continued, ”And we have been buddies sense middle school, that’s how we know each other, you guys can pick the location of the home town.” Sam said as he nodded, ”That sound acceptable or do you have anything better than us Juka?” he asked curiously.
A moment later he looked up the bar tender and pointed out to the table of the girls, ”Whatever they are having, bring them another round on me!” watching as the bartender nodded and started to fix up the drinks Sam eyed two beers and two drinks with umbrella’s in them. He couldn’t help but smirk, ”Now we wait.”
Juka wasn't entirely sure that he got the whole concept of making up an elaborate story to get with a girl. He blinked, in some confusion, at Saph when he brought up the whole archeologist idea dn then blinked at Sam. Archeologist? What did that have to do with hooking up with someone? One person got with another person because they wanted to get together for a good time, it didn't have to be any more complicated than that did it? Plus, it struck Juka as kind of dishonest to come up with some sort of elaborate backstory anyway. Of course he regularly got with people for one night stands or brief flings (though admitedly not as much since he got to New York) but the girl or guy in question always knew that that was the intent anyway. Fun was fun but lying was wrong.
Then Sam started talking about being a treasure hunter and Juka being a fashion designer and his confusion got to be even worse? "But...why would I be a fashion designer? I can just tell them I'm a muscision," which was true and the posters around the city promoting the debut of his new band would confirm it "and they'll love me. Why would I lie about it?" That had been his experience. He was gorgeous which helped of course, but men and women alike couldnt' get enough of rock stars, even if "star" was a bit of an exageration but it didn't really matter. He had never had to lie to get with anyone and didn't intend now. It wasn't needed but, more importantly, it was dishonest and immoral. Honesty was the best policy, or so his mother used to tell him. Of course, she also told him not to wear dresses so maybe her advice wasn't the best.
Juka's first reaction upon Sam stating that he wanted the dark haired woman he had his eyes on was negative and maybe a little competitive. But then he mentioned that Juka could have both of the blonds and, while outwardly they didn't strike him as much as the brunette, two instead of one did have its advantages. Besides, one couldnt' always judge someone by their cover so it might work out for the best anyway. "Deal," he agreed magnimoniously. Because, of course, he was being imminently generous in the agreement since obviously Sam wasn't anywhere in his league. Treasure hunting archeologist or not.
Sam ordered the women drinks. Saph raised a hand to stop the bartender. "Wait." He looked to Sam, and grinned. "Bear with me here, buddy." He turned to the bartender again. "Could you do me a favor, and ask a server to point us out, and tell them that we want to know when they plan to buy us our drinks." He looked back to Sam and Juka. "You see, attractive women can't go any place without some douche buyin em a drink. They immediately feel like they are in control. But if you do this to a girl, and then not look at her for the rest of the night. She will come right to you. She will want to know why you don't think she's better than you, and she will want you. Bad."
Saph grinned, and looked back, relaxing against the bar. "Remember, don't look at them. Trust me, they will do all of the lookin."
He looked slowly to Juka. "You're in a band, huh? Jees you've got a pretty good advantage over most guys, then. Chicks love that. You see, when you are going for the kinda girl you meet at a bar... It's nice to think that they will like you for you, but a large percent of them are just too shallow... That's why you are mostly having a one night stand, and not a real relationship, you know?" He shrugged. "They generally know you are lieing, its the adventure, they want." The older mutant shrugged. He had met girls are bars before, in his younger days, and none of them would have wanted to be with a hobo, so of course he had to fib. Hew felt bad about it now, but he hadn't gone bar courting in a few years anyways, heck, maybe things had changed since then, but if he was right, this tactic would work like a charm.

When Saph directed the bartender other wise Sam couldn’t help but smirk, either Saph was calling him a ‘D’ or he was offering friendly advice, regardless what the intent behind the comment was Sam couldn’t help but to laugh, even if it was something most guys did, he always managed to pull it off fairly easy. But he was willing to try and see if Saph’s ploy would work or not, worse case scenario he would go over and chat her up. ”I’m willing to try your way out.” Sam nodded to the bartender who rolled his eyes and did what was asked of them the server smirked as she went over to the girl table.
His body facing the bar Sam rejoined the conversation occasionally looking up in the mirror behind the bar to see if Saph’s ploy was working. ”It’s more fun to be someone else sometimes, sides no one really believes me when I tell them my real job anyways.” Sam said agreeing with Saph, ”And you could go with a musician girl’s love’em.” taking a sip of his drink Sam looked back up in the mirror and smirked.
Not everyone could claim they lead a team of mutants with aspirations of world peace and equality but then again, not everyone could claim they were a mutant. Sam could do both but one seemed crazier than the other, and as far as his other job, a self defense instructor at the Mansion, that would have been a little difficult to believe as well without a demonstration and Sam wasn’t usually the type to look for fights, not any more at least.
Even though he didn’t show it Sam was a little worried over the situation. He wasn’t sure if Saph’s ploy would work to well, he had no reason to doubt him but something about this girl made her come off as a mystery and really familiar all at the same time. Something Sam wanted to figure out why.
”Well look at that!” Sam said quietly just over the music as the server pointed in their direction then left. The girls talked for a few moments then looked like they were trying to search them out. Finally the brunette pointed towards them and waved her friends in their direction. Looking down at his drink and playing it cool Sam didn’t look back up in the mirror behind the bar but rather continued on with the drinking, ”To a night of epicness with my two new wingmen!” Sam said as he lifted the beer ready to clink glasses then slam the contents.
Saph's advice on how to attract someon in a club actually made sense to Juka. There were times, of course, that he actively pursued the man or woman of his eye, but more often he would let them come to him. It wasn't intentional so much as the fact that people simply were attracted to him, at least the sort of people that frequented his favourite sorts of clubs. He knew he had charisma and he certainly had style. Plus, the fact that he was in a band didn't hurt and even way over here in America people occasionally recognized him from his days in Ukime.
"You see, when you are going for the kinda girl you meet at a bar... It's nice to think that they will like you for you, but a large percent of them are just too shallow... That's why you are mostly having a one night stand, and not a real relationship, you know?"
"Isn't that kind of the point?" Juka asked. He knew where they were and the type of people one tended to attract in a place like this. He certainly wasn't looking for some serious long term commitment and only the truly desperate came to a club looking for a relationship. When at all possible Juka avoided those types. He didn't want a commitment but he wasn't a player and he didn't want to hurt anyone or lead anyone on. The people he slept with knew, straight up, what everything was about and therefore (hopefully) didn't get hurt by it. "I thought the point was a night of fun and dancing that might, if we're lucky, lead to after hours activities?" He winked slyly at Saph.
”It’s more fun to be someone else sometimes, sides no one really believes me when I tell them my real job anyways.”
Juka arched an eyebrow in curiosity at Sam. He hadn't seem inclined to go into detail about how he lost his eye and Juka wasn't certain that he would want to go into detail about his job either so he didn't ask directly. Still, curiosity was curisity and he had to at least attemp to make his interest known. Who really needed secrets anyway? Maybe one day he would learn to read minds (which is said to be related to telekinetic powers anyway, which his bubbles sort of were, weren't they?) and then he woudldn't have to rely on people actually telling him what he wanted to know. Ah, that would be the life. Then again, there wouldn't really be much challenge in just simply knowing.
”To a night of epicness with my two new wingmen!”
Juka lifted his own glass and clinked it with Sam's. "To a night of epicness," he agreed, taking a liberal drink.
Saph didn't even look as Sam utilized the rather clever mirror routed vantage point he had gained. He didn't want to see the girls. Something about pretending they didn't exist made him feel like the ball was more in his court than anyone elses. That was what made this move great. it made it so the woman wasn't in charge, and by not looking at them once, you were sealing the deal. Now, in a perfect world, one of them would have walked up alone to kick it off, but since it was a large group, they had to use the waiter. Saph could tell that it was starting to work, however, since Sam was already commenting on it.
"I tell you, man, it works like a charm. Now we gotta be sure to engage as soon as they buy us drinks. We'll just take our drinks on over there, thank em, and start talking. We thank em because it shows that we are gentlemen, and we go right away, cause that's when their interest is piqued. We gotta show em that we want em, but at the same time, that they gotta work for it, Y'see?" He threw a wink Juka's way in response to his, and turned to CS. "You know, you ain't so bad, pal." He threw back another big gulp, and then decided to finish off his beer. Maybe he could get another one out of the way before the girls ordered them a beer? He chugged his, and then ordered one more on Sam's tab. Once it arrived, Sam had called for a toast. Perfect timing. Saph lifted his full glass, and nodded. "To epicness all together" He finished, in a movie moment fashion, taking a few good gulps of his beer to cement the deal.

The glasses clinked together and they all toasted, Sam finished another one of his beers and slammed the glass on the table ready to order another round for his new pals as they were waiting fro the girls to by him drinks, it seemed however as Sam made motion to the bartender that was waiting expectantly for him to order another round cut Sam off, “Looks like they are taking care of it!” the bartender said as he had a few drinks ready then pointed out to the girls at the table.
Sam had his doubts about this ploy but he guessed it really did work he had no problem waiting for girls to buy him drinks or make the first mood but when they were in a group that was a little different. Patting Saph on the back Sam grinned, ”Guess a thanks is in order?” Sam asked curiously as he picked up his beer took a swig then lifted the bottle to the bar tender, ”This is for what we drank so far,” Sam said as he dropped three twenties on the bar and then turned to head to the table of girls, ”Expect more in a bit!”
Walking through the group of people with both Saph and Juka behind him Sam was the first to arrive at the table, he placed himself between one of the blondes and the brunette he was checking out, ”Nice of you to by us drinks, Name’s Sam, and these are my buddies, Juka and Saph.” Sam pointed to each respected owner of the names as the girls stared at his left patched eye first then was all distracted by Juka. Smirking to Juka and grinning he looked from one girl to the next glad he called dibs on which he did.
After they all realized they were staring at Juka they looked to Saph then smiled to them offering their names up in introductions, the brunette was the first one to give her name, ”I’m Haley, and this is Jess,” the blonde closer to him then she pointed outward as the other girls introduced themselves as Erica the bigger one introduced her self as Michelle.
