The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

He watched Tricity perform her little spin in the front hall, giving a small shake of his head, and hoping her dizziness did not return. "Its big... Even bigger than m..." He shook his head again. "And I'm welcome to stay here as long as I need?" He asked, finishing his look around the front hall, and returning it to her. "What's room and board... and could you tell me a little bit more about the education program here? The rumors that brought me this way didn't give any specifics... just whispers of 'safe haven'."
"Of course you can stay here as long as you want. There is no room and board, so don't worry about that. We have some college classes here, but they are a bit selective for now. You can take classes elsewhere also. There's a girl at NYU now, actually. If you need help paying for college classes, we offer that too...though you need to finish up high school right? We have classes for that too. I teach art classes." *Tricity sat down on one of the green loveseats in the hallway. Standing on her feet wasn't exactly the most comfortable thing in the world.*
"I've my GED, diploma equivilant... I believe... Boardin' school I was in...." He started, and shook his head. "Thank you for everything." He spoke after a moment. "So... what all is here on the first floor?" He said, then motioned for her to remain seated, if she made to stand, and that an audio tour would be enough for him.
"Well..." *She said, smiling and thinking this could take a while.* "The main places are the living rooms, dining rooms, and kitchen. Oh, the backyard and outdoor pool. There's a basketball and tennis court too. The Danger Room is also down here. Then there are all the winding staircases and hallways leading to dead ends sometimes." *Tricity laughed and then pointed down the hall.* "There are a couple hidden doors as well to get into the basement or out of the mansion in case there's an attack. The only people allowed in the basement are the X-Men, though."
"Outside of emergency I assume?" He asked, in reference to the people allowed into the basement, as he tossed his duffel bag down again infront of her and then turned it into an impromptu seat. "So, meet'n'greets, food, and access to the outside... as well as the Danger Room is on the first floor. Excluding various hallways connecting them, that about cover it?"
*Tricity nodded as she looked up and down the hallway making a mental check of all the rooms.* "Yea, that pretty much covers it. The second floor is dedicated to dorms and the infirmary. There are a few balconies and libraries too."
"I don't think it looked tall enough from the outside, but is there a third floor?" He asked, looking around again, and squinting a moment, then redirecting his gaze to her. "How many other... special fellows live here?"
"No there is no third floor, but it feels like the floors go on forever. I still get lost..." *She looked at him confusedly.* "What do you mean, special fellows? Guys?"
"Oh, God...I can't even keep count anymore. I haven't updated the files yet because we've been getting newcomers everyday now. I'm waiting till the traffic slows a bit so I can update properly. There are a good 80 something, I would say." *Tricity explained, realizing just how many there were in the house. It was unbelievable.*
"Oh... wow, and there's rooms to accomodate them all?" He asked, a little shocked at her response, and how large the number of mutants resided here. He gave a second glance around the front hall. "Wow... truely unbelieveable..."
*catches up to the other two, after wandering around a bit* "Hey Raphael, I didn't introduce myself to you. *offers hand to be shaken* Im Axel. Im new here too"
