The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Daria had to laugh again. The man was just so charming and old fashioned. She wrote her dress size; 6 and her shoe size;7 on the card and handed it back.
"Thank you, very much" she said softly. She had to swallow her pride then. She hated taking things from people but she really had no choice at that point. She could've paid for the dress but she felt like offering would've insulted someone.
Judge Asters pocketed the card without even glancing at it. "Thank you, my dear, for indulging in an old man's need to throw money around enough to worry everyone who stands to inherit from him," he said with a smile and a friendly wink. He gave Mike a hug, then picked up his briefcase. "I'll trust the arrangements to you, Michael. I'll be by to pick the two of you up at six tomorrow evening."
With another wave, he stepped out the door into his limo.
And eventually, the two students went about their nightly business.
*Tricity came into the mansion, sighing with disappointment as she closed the doors and put her back against them.* "Well, I hope the mutant is alright..."
*Tricity walked through the hallway, taking her jacket off and putting it on a community coat hanger near the kitchen. As she went into another hallway, one of the mounted televisions on the wall was continuing to talk about the runaway mutant in New York. Tricity put her back against the wall and listened to the reporter's story who was clearly not well informed of what was happening.* "Just coming to conclusions and bashing on mutants as usual. Not surprising..."
*A sudden intrusion informed her that Xavier was poking around a bit in her head. He began the conversation as usual.* xavier: "The mutant has a very similar power to your own, Delilah. Though it seems he can actually create the electricity." "Is he alright?" xavier: "Not as of yet. He's being chased by the officers now and has met up with another mutant on top of that. The two seem to be on the run. I'm not sure why he's running. He's too emotional for me to tap into his thoughts any longer so I don't hurt him. Hopefully he'll find his way to the mansion for sanctuary." "We don't know anything about them though." xavier: "I don't think they are any harm. They seem trustworthy enough, Delilah." "Should I go searching for them again? Do you know where they are?" xavier: "They aren't far from where the chase began. It might be too dangerous to go searching for them with all the police officers. You aren't friends with them all you know. It's their responsibility to take you in, friend or not. Especially if there are cameras on them. If you do go, take another X-Man at least." *Tricity sighed.* "I've no idea where anyone is. If i find someone, I'll weigh the options. Thanks, Charles." xavier: "It's nothing as always. Keep me informed, Delilah." *The feeling of his presense left and she had a lightheaded moment for a second. She continued watching the TV in case of a change.*
"Apparently there is a mutant on the run in the city. Police are after him after he was fighting with some guys in the bar. Xavier said he ran into another mutant as well and they are both trying to get away. Not sure if we should try and get them or not." *Tricity told them as she was still leaning against the wall and nodding over up at the TV for them to see the story.*
"I dont know. Not like we need the attention. There are a lot of people gathering around the tape..." *Tricity thought as she watched all the NON-mutants staring around the tape.*
"And if we leave it be, there might be even more. It's a no-win situation with the public as always, so the least we can do is do right by the mutants."
*Tricity looked away from the TV and to Daria.* "Please, hun. I'm perfectly fine, I don't need to rest." *She turned back to the TV again and saw more police arriving.* "Well, the verdict is to go then??"
