The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"At the moment I've having to be both people around one person." He says, trying not to give too much information. "And said person can't find out who The Archer is or else my work would be screwed."
oh....well the danger room is a place where we can train and control our mutations. the war room is where we gather to learn information about a mission some of us might need to go on when...well, the world's in trouble. *she realized how cheesy in fact she suddenly sounded.* both rooms are protected by a password and there are lockers inside as well.
yes, there is a way out of the danger room. there's a door in the back you can take out of the mansion and into the grounds. *the reached the front of the danger room and she gave him a slip of paper with the code on it.* just pick out any locker in there you want. *tricity looked at her watch.* shoot, i need to head to my next class. if you need anything, leave a note and i'll get back to you. *she smiled at him and then jogged down the hall.*

"Right." He says, looking at the piece of paper and typing in the code for the Danger Room, a door opens and he walks in. The door shuts quickly after he is in.

Derek exits the Danger Room, and then goes out the way he came and finds himself outside. His motercycle is gone and he sighs. "I really hope that she told someone to put it in the garage." He says to himself. He sees a cab, apparently waiting for him. "Hm." He says, getting inside the cab and giving directions to his home.
*Tricity parked Kaine's bike in the front of the mansion and headed up the stairs, inside. She was holding her face, hoping not too many people would be in the halls and see her bruise. After closing the door, Tricity took the leather jacket off and hung it on a coat rack. She started walking forward and collided into Cassiel.* "Mike!! Sorry..." *She noticed he was putting his jacket on and seemed in a hurry.* "What's up?"
"You, evidently." Now that she was there, Mike seemed to be a little less worried, but he was still looking somewhat frantic. "What the hell happened? I felt this huge panic from you, somewhere way out there," he waved his arm in the general direction she'd come from, "Then it was gone, nothing. I flew around trying to find out what was going on, but there's a lot of space to cover..."
Now that he was calming down, he noticed that she was looking a little beaten, and saw the bruise on her face. He stopped, blinked for a minute, and turned her head gently so he could see it better.
He shook his head, apparently crestfallen. "You should have let me kill him," he said quietly.
*She turned her head back to look at him.* "We can't kill him...well, at least not yet. Especially on these grounds." *Her eyes met with his.* "He took Kaine. They ambushed us and, well it's not important...but he took Kaine. I don't know what to do."
Mike stopped and thought for a minute. "I don't know what we can do if we don't know where this guy hides yet. If we did, I'd say we send people in, tear some shit up, and bring him back. Now..." he shook his head. "Daria and I have been seeing what we can turn up on this guy, but I'm not optimistic. Finding that red stone is probably our best bet."
Mike, however, was more worried about the immediate issues. "What happened to you? Are you all right?"
