The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Alexandra growled unhappy, head hiding beneath the pillow as the sound of her alarm clock kept ringing into her ears. A delicate hand extended to errr, well punch the annoying device and didn’t rest until a loud thud marked the moment when the clock had reached the ground.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
The device kept ringing and even with the pillow muffling the sound, sleep was drifting away from her mind at fast pace. With a groan, Alexandra pushed her body to the side of the bed where her hand extended again, finally managing to turn off the alarm.
Rolling over, Alexandra starred at the ceiling with a sigh. Training day. Well, it wasn’t the training part that was her problem. No, in the past months at the Mansion she had several training sessions, some aiming for improving her body, others, her mind and control over her mutation. And of course, all of them to get herself in the X-Men ranks.
Sam. Yeah, Sam. He was her danger room training instructor today. Awkward. she said to herself, pushing herself off the bed and walked lazily inside the bathroom.
Fifteen minutes later, a towel wrapped Alexandra walked out of the bathroom, her legs taking her across the room where the dresser was. Placing a hand on her hip, she used the other to open the piece of furniture and stared inside of it. So. What should I wear?
A low growl escaped her lips. Yeah, that was the problem. This training session sometimes felt like it was a date. Sighing, she grabbed her uniform and closed the doors before she could change her mind.
Five minutes later, Alexandra Kettler was walking inside the Danger Room.

It was early the sun wasn’t even up yet he was wide-awake he managed to will himself to sleep even if it lasted for twenty minutes. After that he determined that he was not going to have any sleep that night and might as well get started on the day. Even when he was little getting ready for a mission or a big physical test or some sort of weather storm, but not tonight. He sighed as he walked to the danger room in his shirt and shorts, knowing that today was going to be tough, at least for the early part of it. Today he was supposed to train Alex, a self-defense training to be exact and that was the reason he was wearing a shirt for this training session. Almost all his training sessions he was shirtless and shoeless but as of right now he was focused more on keeping this session or training just that training. As much as he wanted he couldn’t turn it into a date that wasn’t fair to Alex, he shouldn’t give her special treatment just because he might like her in that special way.
To many questions were left unsaid after his birthday and the few times they last met were they friends, friends with benefits or more than that? Even if he wanted to ask her those questions would have to wait until the session was over. Again he told himself that this was not a date it was a training session.
Being a few hours early he decided to get a workout in before Alex showed up to the Danger Room hoping that if he was more tired he would be more focused for the session. It had been a while since he actually used his ice minions to train so he decided he would spend the few remaining hours training with them. After a warm up run and a group stretch Sam looked to his team of minions and had them form his individual weapons and decided that it would be good practice for them both, the minions and he to practice his control over them. He began moving them in various movements and fighting stances till they were all in sync with each other. Seven minions were to hard to control like this, which was why he was focusing on five for the time being.
Rolling off one of his minion’s backs as another two minions brought down their weapons Sam kicked the closest minion to the head forcing him down to the ground. As he stood on the minion’s head he looked up to see Alex in her training gear. Being distracted by her momentarily for the time being Sam looked back as a minion popped him in the side of the face. As he fell to the ground the five minions of his shattered. Skidding once and rolling up Sam looked to Alex and stumbled before he said, ”Hey Al, sorry about the early morning training.” rubbing the back of his head as his lip started to swell as the side of his face that got hit became red, ”So how have you been?” he asked curiously as he walked closer to her.
Metallic doors opened to reveal Sam, already in the Danger Room and already in the heat of practicing his skills. Alexandra’s head tilted to the side, as confusion brushed over her mind. Blue eyes moved along with Sam, watching with his figure with interest. She let out a small, undetectable sigh escape her lips.
Alexandra closed her eyes for less than a second, trying to put her thoughts in order. A slight feeling of nervousness joined the already various mix of emotions she felt, further enhancing her confusion.
The most important question here was what exactly was going on between them? Annoyance washed over her mind at remembering that after his birthday, she was more or less forced to go back to Romania and take over family business and money after her parents mysterious death. This trip had certainly happened sooner and lasted longer than she had been expecting, practically leaving theit relationship kind of foggy.
So. What was happening between her and Sam? Eyes trailed on his figure as he continued to practice, still unaware of her presence.
Why, of course, we are using him to further advance in our mission.[/color]
The mental voice stated calmly in her mind, full of arrogance. Alexandra exhaled. Voices in her mind weren’t exactly something new, but after the brawl and the incident there, these voices started to feel more dominant over her mind and body.
A lie. Our feelings for this young man are honest.
A kinder, calmer voice debated with the other. Alexandra shook her head with annoyance. The realization that there was this not so slight chance anymore to turn crazy had happened some time before, but what was for the molecule manipulator to do?
Perhaps ask for help? But to whom she could turn to? Whom could she trust to wander in her clouded mind? The X-Men? And have them knowing the exact purpose of her presence at the Mansion? The lies behind the pretty face? No. Then the Kabal? And have her employee know every detail of her life, from the brat child to the rebelled teenager to the assassin young adult? Thank you but no.
Shut up! Both of you!
Her own mental voice, the same as ever rebelled against the others. After almost hearing the slight growl of the first voice, silence flooded her mind.
Just in time, as Sam looked up to her. Blood rushed to her cheeks, giving them a slight tint of red. In this particular moment, even dressed in the most unflattering attire and it still would have felt inappropriate for meeting Sam.
“Sam, be care-”
Too late. A moment of distraction and Sam’s ice minion had already hit the side of his face. Her eyes closed for a second as Sam landed on the ground. When she reopened them, the ice minions were disappearing. “-ful.”
Alexandra shook her head as a sympathetic smile appeared on her face when Sam got up, rubbing the back of his head and approached her. “Hey Sam.” she replied, eyes following his figure as he walked closed to her.
Hand went up with interest and touched his swollen lips and moved across the reddish skin of the hit side of his face, trying to be as delicate as possible. “I think some ice will fix these.” she spoke, now trying to sound as professional as possible, seeing that she still was the doc prof’s assistant and it was her job to fix wounds and bruises. Alexandra retracted her hand, faster than normal, realizing that the lingering touch on his face didn’t look very professional and this was supposed to be a teacher-student type of meeting, regardless of their background.
“Busy.” she finally answered to his question and adding a small shrug. “I had to go back home for a while.” she continued, being as evasive as possible. As far as she knew, no one at the mansion knew about her parents’ death and this wasn’t the time or place to talk about it. And not with Sam. From her point of view, there was no need for others to know about this particular event. “And I’m sorry I kind of disappeared.” She inhaled deeply and plastered a smile on her face, ready to change the subject. “How about you?

A grin showed on his face as the warm and familiar hand of Alex’s reached up and touched his face gently, but the grin quickly left once she retracted her hand fast, ”Can only hope.” he said trying to smile as the side of his face became covered in ice as he looked back to the danger room and walked towards where he was once before. He was still listening to her though he thought he should keep his distance somewhat less he would be tempted to do something he would regret during the class time. During class time he was a teacher first and Sam second. Thought he hated to see things that way he figured it was the only way she could actually get some decent lessons out of him.
Nodding his head slightly he said calmly, ”I noticed you were gone,” he knew she left but for what reasons he did not know. More than anything he was slightly hurt she didn’t bother telling him where she was heading, sure they weren’t dating but still they were something right? He wanted to say he missed her but he had to put some distance in between them at least for now, ”Was worried you weren’t going to be here for your lesson!” ‘Nice Sam’ he thought to himself as he smiled and looked to the ground as he tried to avoid the beauty that was Alex.
”Been alright, haven’t had any down time really, between the lessons and the new residents the only spare time I have had is the brief five minutes I spend in my spot outside on the grounds…” his mind quickly shot over to the hammock he often slept in when ever he could. For a few brief moments he could feel the cool breeze of the wind rock him gently back and forth as his cat Cammie purred on his chest fast asleep as the sounds of bear like snore could be heard from his dog Bruno who often slept off to the side of them. ”But I am hoping to fix that soon, got a few blocks in my schedule that are free!”
Sam let out a small chuckle as he sat down and started to stretch a few feet from Alex, ”So while were stretching why don’t you tell me what exactly you want to learn, any thing specific could help and also I am interested in figuring out if you do anything else to keep your body like tha…” Sam caught himself before he finished saying his thoughts as his face filled with blood, ”I mean….ummmm….” his head covered in ice completely as he brought it down hard against the ground causing the ice to shatter, ”What I meant to say was, other than yoga is there other experiences you have with self defense or something along those lines?” satisfied that his most recent comment didn’t sound like something his brother would say he stretched his legs out and waited for Alex to respond.
The situation was tense between the two of them, Alexandra was seeing and feeling this. Fading grins, forced smiles, his icy blue eyes sometimes turning to the ground, avoiding her. Alexandra sighed, when she left things weren’t easy but at least they were easier. She wished she could say out loud that she wanted things to go back to the way they were instead of going trough the awkward phase over and over again. Come on Sam. I’m the same girl... At least, almost the same. Mind shouted out to the man, her eyes being the only ones who obeyed her brain’s command to rebel against this calmer and colder self.
Sam’s words about her absence, together with his attitude about it felt like a stab wound, right trough her heart. Her own blue eyes searched for his but found them planted to the ground, avoiding her, and it made her feel guilty about not telling him. It was the best, she repeated to herself. Sam, perhaps would have misunderstood everything about her trip and she although she had yet to admit it, she couldn’t loose everything she had with him now.
Instead, she swallowed every word that kept coming into her mind and mouth and gave a nervous smile. “Like I said. I’m really sorry but I didn’t know I had to leave until I was in the plane. And after that… I was really busy. It’s not an excuse, I know I should have told you. You of all people.” Her blue eyes lowered to the ground at speaking the last of the words only to get back up at completing the sentence and were followed by a shrug, hoping that Sam would understand that it wasn’t her intention to disappear so suddenly, especially not after his birthday and everything that that meant for both of them. And also, making sure that she gave a not so very subtle hint that he was more important than anyone else in the Mansion.
“Anyway.” Her voice changed abruptly, to a much brighter and cheerful tone. “Let me know when you have free time cause I’m planning to get you out of the mansion so I could pay for my mistake.” A bold move, an uncharacteristic one for Alexandra, but if Sam had the same questions as she had, then she hoped that this invitation from her would clear everything up between them. “If you want, of course.” she added with a playful smile on her lips.
As Sam started to stretch, a few feet away from her, Alexandra joined in. If this was the start of the lesson, then she would act as good as possible. Student-teacher, she reminded to herself, her eyes focused on Sam’s mouth… and her thoughts flew back to that rainy day, the music store and their first kiss…
Not a very good idea. To think about that. Her blue eyes shot up, trying to find his, while she bent her knee, hand reaching at her back to grasp the ankle. After pulling slightly, until she felt the stretch in her quadriceps, her attention went back to Sam, just as he was saying he was interested in how she kept her body like tha-.
A smile appeared on her face while her back straightened. Alexandra maintained the silence as Sam corrected himself and minus the lingering smile on her full lips, she was pretending she didn’t hear anything. After letting Sam to finish his question, she paused for a few seconds, releasing her leg. A hand went up to her face where she brushed some rebel hair off her face with a quick and fluid move then she proceeded with repeating the same stretching technique with her other leg.
After assuring herself that she was assuming the right position, her attention was focused on Sam again completely. “I run and I swim every day to increase stamina.” she replied seriously. “And Luke’s turning out to be a very good sensei in Bartitsu. ” her voice softened up a bit just as she remembered her first training session with Luke. A chuckle escaped her lips, just before she turned serious again. “I’ve had a few training session with him already.”
Her leg was released from the stretch and brought back to the ground slowly. As she continued to watch Sam, she prepared move on to the back stretch.

How did that saying go? Never enough time in the world to say what you would like to the people you want? He couldn’t remember how the saying goes but he liked the way this one sounded better, he could tell Alex was generally upset and disappointed with the lack of emotion he was showing her but he was on the clock and he wanted to keep the class as professional as possible. That was until she mentioned that she wanted to take him out of the mansion.
As he stretched his heart rate quickened as he gave Alex a smile and said, ”How about we talk about it after the class?” and by talk about it he would answer her question not with words but rather with a hug and a long lip lock, the best way in Sam’s opinion to say yes to a date. ”Don’t worry about not telling me you were leaving now, again worry about it after class, the second you step into this room you leave all outside thoughts at the door.” Easier said then down thought Sam, although he did his best to live by that code a code that his previous teacher lived by and expected his students to live by, Sam was once one of those ideal students.
Feeling the gaze of Alex the way the gorgons stare at their prey turning them to stone Sam avoided direct eye contact and even if it was a quick glance that was what he would always avert his gaze shortly after, she defiantly wasn’t making it easy on him trying to keep this student teacher relationship down for the class. It was like she was purposely trying to get him to not be a teacher and act more like a boy. His legs flat against the ground Sam touched his head to his knees for a second then quickly shot up and went back down slowly his hands reaching to his feet. The one thing he hated about his size, muscles and frame, he defiantly wasn’t as flexible as he used to be.
Raising his head up taking a look at Alex as she was stretching trying hard to not let his eyes drift down from her face. ”Running and Swimming are good… said Sam before he let out a small chuckle after she mentioned Luke being a teacher of Bartitsu. ”That makes sense now that I think about it. Always wanted to ask him what aspect of the arts he studied but I guess it would suit him more than anything with the walking cane.” Sam had read up on the art once or twice but never made an attempt to see it in action seeing as it wasn’t that common, but now, now he wanted to see exactly what Luke could do.
”That’s good already had a few lessons? Makes my job easier then,” laying down and pushing his hands on the ground and forcing himself up as he landed on his feet he walked over to Alex and offered her a hand to get up, ”Well I figured out what we are going to do today, seeing as you already have a teacher, I’ll offer what I can as advice.” reaching his hand over to the ground a walking stick shot out of the ground and into his palm as he handed it to Alex, ”Here you go, you and me will be sparring, I’ll start empty handed for the most part and you can start with the staff till.”
Grinning slightly as he let go of Alex’s hand he walked a few feet from her and let out a small hardly noticeable wink, ”Don’t hold back alright? When ever your ready!” letting out a small chuckle Sam raised his hands up in a guard as his feet inched forward till they were square with his shoulder, his left foot and shoulder were forward as he kept his eyes fixed on Alex waiting for the first movement.
Alexandra acknowledged with a simple nod as Sam told her that they should talk after the class and that her mind should be completely focused on training. Easier to say it, harder to comply with it and she found herself wondering if he was having the same trouble as she did with keeping other thoughts out but with him avoiding meeting her stare she considered the answer being yes.
While thinking about it, Alexandra proceeded with the back stretch, bending her body until the palms of her hands were planted on the ground. Bending her knees until she felt the stretch, she turned her head slightly, until she was able to see Sam, doing his leg stretch.
Running trough her mind all previous sessions she had with Luke, and feeling sorry that her sensei wasn’t here to see her, she moved on to the leg stretch, seating herself on the ground. Bending her knees until the soles of her feet were locked together, she placed the elbows on her knees and leaned forward.
Eyes shot back to Sam, wondering if what she had learnt with Luke was enough to surprise the Mansion’s self-defense teacher, and half smiled at his comment of Luke making his job easier. Watching his moves with not only the student-teacher interest that she should, she accepted his helping hand when it was offered and shot back up to a standing position.
Absentmindedly locking her hands behind her back and extending them for a few seconds, she gave another nod to Sam. Analyzing the walking cane as it was being offered to her, she weighted in her hands, and switched it from the left to the right hand a few times before it remained locked inside her right one.
Grinning slightly when Sam told her not to hold back, she assumed the rear guard position. “Born ready.” she joked. Grin faded, and Alexandra charged forward, aiming for Sam’s legs at full speed.
Remember, hot stove.
The first piece of advice her sensei had given ran trough her mind, like it did every time, just as her body was closing on Sam’s. And she didn’t have any intention to hold back, at all.

A grin twitched slightly on his lips as he watched Alex shift the cane from hand to hand. In all honesty Sam wondered if Alex was right handed or left handed, right handed fighters were more common and were more easier to read in his opinion than those who used his left, it was all on experience really. Over the years Sam fought with countless humans and mutants more than the majority were right handed and as such his fighting style reflected that his right hand was a tad faster and often was a tad higher when he went into a guard during a fight. A fact of which he was clueless on for a while till his old teacher pointed it out by fainting and coming in with the left and nearly crushing his skull in the process, after that he had made a habit of not ignoring what he was revealing to his opponents.
As he watched Alex take her stance raising the stick Sam frowned slightly, thinking how much easier it was to get a grasp of the fighting stance if he was more familiar with the style. In all honesty he couldn’t help her improve on the particular aspect of the style Luke was teaching her he could only throw in his two sense from the opinion of a different style approach to the Bartitsu way. But from what he could tell her fighting stance was a good one, though the way he holds a weapon it would be aimed in front of him or at his side in a sheath at his side for the quick draw stance.
However he had no weapons so once he saw her stance he raised his hands a bit more accordingly, they were about six feet from each other, a safe distance he thought seeing as the walking stick was less than four feet and her arms couldn’t with the stick reach his face enough to actually give a decent hit. But as she took a step forward Sam grinned slightly as he took a step back to her charge. As he saw the strike being aimed at him with the walking stick Sam leaned to the side and let the swing hit the leg only due to the fact that he was already off balance and didn’t fight the stick but rather flowed with it he simply fell to one side landed into a one handed cartwheel and pushed himself up and landed on his feet.
”Nice swing, but from the way I learned if you can help it, it is always better to react opposed to acting. You acted….” Sam paused as he pivoted his feet and ended behind Alex, the heels of his feet slightly covered in ice to help his movement that much more, tapping her on the back of the shoulder with his finger he said, ”Never strike first, and never telegraph your movements. Sam leaned forward and stuck his feet in between Alex’s then used his hand that was already on her shoulder and did a one legged sweep hoping to get her off balance enough so he could finish with the motion and push her to the ground with his hand.
If she used the cane she could easily catch herself before she fell and could attack him from a off balance strike. All of his strikes and movements were gentle not only did he not want to hurt her because she was a student, but because he thought as her more than a friend and he didn’t want anything to happen to her.
Being taken by surprise by Sam’s movements, Alexandra frowned slightly as she found herself being swiped off her feet. There were a few options that ran trough her mind in less than a second and she knew that she could have used the cane to find balance again.
Instead she let herself fall to the ground, annoyance stuck on her face. Not for being surprised but for the fact that she felt that Sam’s hits were as gentle and soft as possible. “Don’t hold back Sam. Real opponents won’t feel sorry for me!”
Her voice held back most of the anger she felt, her reply sounding more like an advice rather than a complaint. The next move had crossed her mind the moment she was falling down, but she knew that the timing needed to be perfect in order to have success.
Planting her hands on the ground as if she planned to get back up on her feet, she gave a quick look to Sam, analyzing his position, before quickly extending her leg and moving it in a swiping motion, hoping that she was fast and strong enough not to give Sam the time to react properly to this new attack.

Slightly upset that she did nothing to prevent her self from falling Sam didn’t know who to be more disappointed in, himself for not going soft enough on her or her for not even making an attempt. Even if he was the teacher he felt like he was going to hard on her, most likely due to the fact that he had feelings for her and wished her no harm what so ever. He wanted her to get stronger but he came to the conclusion that with the way things are now between them he didn’t think he had it in him to increase the effort in this little match. That was until he caught Alex’s expression as she looked up at him.
“Don’t hold back Sam. Real opponents won’t feel sorry for me!”
His stomach lurched slightly as he felt the butterflies in his stomach blow up as if they contained gasoline and Alex’s cold gaze was the source of the flames. She was right, even if he didn’t want to admit it, he wasn’t being fair to her and now he was being called out on it. Nodding his head slowly he replied, “You’re right, I’m Sorry.”
As he looked at her on the ground with the annoyance written all over his face he debated helping her up and apologizing once again that was until he noticed a movement of her own, in a quick fluid motion Sam watched as Alex’s leg came swinging at his own. Having next to no time to react to her out of know where sweep Sam came crashing down to the ground hard. Still dumbfounded she was capable of such a feat, almost every time he had any sort of run in with Alex that required them to exert themselves both mentally and physically she showed no hint that she was capable of something so fast.
Letting out a small “Ohhfff” as he crashed down on the ground he looked at Alex and said, “Came out of left field, been underestimating you…” Sam admitted as he rolled forward trying to put some distance between the two. “Guess I will have to get more serious…” Sam said as he looked to Alex as he broke from his roll and looked up to her his balance slightly off as he tried to regain his positioning and his guard.
Just like Alexandra had hoped, Sam didn’t have the time to dodge her new attack. Her lips were pursed together as she watched his body sail trough the air until the moment it hit the ground. Only then, she jumped back up, taking a few steps backward to put distance between the two of them.
After this scene she was more than convinced that Sam wouldn’t let his guard down so easily again and things will start becoming much more difficult for her. “So, helping your opponent is also a part of the training?” Alexandra forced, not very sure of what exactly she was doing, for as she was seeing Sam was already annoyed and although she wasn’t sure if Sam was annoyed with himself or her, she continued to taunt him.
Her eyes landed on the walking stick that was now resting pretty far away from her. There was no point to try and retrieve it, if Sam was getting serious about this training; there was no way he would have let her take it back. It was her own mistake for dropping her weapon. Her eyes shifted back to Sam as she went back to her guard position.

As Alex continued her taunts and jumped back a safe distance without the staff he had given her he grinned slightly already knowing that she was in trouble now. Even if he was going to try and balance going all out and going easy on her. Quickly sweeping his leg and bringing it around behind him he stood poised on his left foot as his right foot slapped on the ground before he forced himself up. The gyro-rotation that he had preformed only added to the speed of standing up straight. He was well aware she was taunting him so he again nodded his head and said, “Again your right, I am sorry…” he continued to apologize as he played with her taunts not so much to the point it was obvious that he knew what she was doing but just enough to get her to continue what she was doing.
As they both stood a few feet apart from each other Sam leaned forward as his feet kicked off the ground, he was playing into the taunts and he knew it, which what he was playing at. She would bait him till she figured she would get him into a trap then he would strike. He had been doing this for years before she started taunting him, the first time she called him out on him not doing his best he thought at first she was only speaking her mind but the second time was more obvious of the taunt.
Passing the walking stick Sam kicked it slightly with his rear foot as he charged her sending it back farther his bare feet slapping against the ground as he reached a hand forward to try and tackle her, he could see her easily getting out of the way, which was why he had his right hand outstretched if she was going to dodge he could always catch himself with his hand and then pivot on it to try and catch her off balance. “Think fast!” Sam said as he lunged forward heading straight for her.
Feet planted onto the ground, Alexandra slightly moved her fisted hands as adrenaline was rushed trough her body. Considering the fact that she was training only for a few months while Sam was a self defense teacher and therefore had much more experience than her, she was well aware that she was in trouble. But if she was going down then she would go down with a bang.
Her head tilted from left to right, blue eyes fixed on Sam’s figure, just like a hawk is watching its prey. His grin as he was getting up, small, but noticeable gave her a few hints that he was thinking along the same lines as she did. A small of hope that Sam would be so convinced that he had her cornered and eventually make a mistake crossed her mind.
Her own lips moved to greet Sam with a smug smile as he pushed her weapon farther away from her. Alexandra knew that there were little chances to win this fight even having a weapon but she wasn’t going to show it in any way. As Sam charged toward her, in his attempt to tackle her, there were two options that crossed her mind as soon as his intentions were revealed.
Dodge or hit. Her decision was taken fast, and she raised her leg, bent from the knee and quickly extended it, hoping to get Sam so off balance that he wouldn’t be able to dodge her kick again. Of course, she knew that she was assuming a dangerous position and the chances of her going down were high enough to have her worried. But this girl liked to take her chances and a continuously dodging his attacks just wasn’t her idea of fight.

A smug grin appeared on Sam’s face as he charged her she cocked her leg back and extended it into a kick it was to late to stop sailing in the air, he wasn’t really even touch the ground right after the next step but that didn’t really matter, he had enough experience how to glance past a kick as he was charging an opponent he could swat it down with his extended right hand, he could swat it to either side effectively but that wasn’t what he was planning. As his arm brushed past the kick he aimed it down and under her leg and slide it up to the back of her quad, after that he basically used his momentum to guide his way around her leg.
His face now turning slightly red as he followed through with the tackle sending both he and Alex to the ground his hand just inches from her rear, as his legs landed on her side his face just inches from hers for a brief moment. His eyes trailed up in down her face as he noticed the small specks of sweat on it. Feeling the sudden urge to loose his balance and fall onto her face aiming to lock the lips came over him, fighting off the urge his hand didn’t move as it was glued to the back of her thigh inches from her butt. His fingers twitched slightly as he looked from her lips to her eyes and he smiled, ”The best block or defense is not to be there for an oncoming attack, you save energy and in turn your life.”
Licking his lips slightly he thought it was somewhat comical he could be in a position such as this and his first thoughts were that of teaching, if this position was somewhere outside of the class room he was sure his words and thoughts would have been more focused on something other than teaching. It was then he realized he could have ended the sparring session right then in there all he had to do is rotate his body under hers and then use a blood or air choke or some sort pressure attack or joint lock. Yet despite the fact that he could easily make out all these his attacks his body didn’t move like he wanted it to. He remained motionless eyes fixed of Alex’s face.
That grin… it meant trouble. And Alexandra was just about to find what kind of trouble. The surprise move she had been planning it indeed turned out to be surprising… for her. One moment she was aiming to kick Sam and the next moment she falling on the ground.
Ouch. Was the single thought that crossed her mind when she hit the floor, the air being pushed out of her lungs on impact. Her eyes were closed when she let her head rest on the hard floor, defeated. Her body had yet to register the position she was in.
Sensations came swirling into her mind as soon as she opened her eyes. Sam’s face only inches away from hers, every bit of detail as her eyes moved from his lips up to his eyes and forced them to be locked there. The sweet fragrance emanating from his skin. The feeling of his touch on her body, his body pressing against her own, his hand resting only inches away from her backside.
Alexandra inhaled, starring a few seconds into his mesmerizing icy blue eyes, as her breathing intensified. This … was one hell of a training session. Her ears were soon filled with the sound of his voice… saying something about blocking? Defense? This words sounded foreign in her ears as she continued to watch him as if hypnotized.
“Aham.” she replied, her eyes moving to his lips as he licked them. She felt this slight urge to push her head up until her lips met his own and quit all that holding back… well that if it weren’t for his words being replayed in her mind until it finally reached her. Blocking, defense?
She was in a training session with Sam. He was her teacher and she was his student. And this precise moment they were far from acting anything like it. Alexandra cleared her throat, embarrassed by her behavior. “Errr… I mean, right. Noted that.” she continued, shifting her eyes to see the wall behind Sam and only when she had finished speaking she dared to turn themback.
Smiling nervously, she took another deep breath then exhaled the air slower. She felt like her damn head was on fire right now. Oh God. Her upper body moved slightly under Sam’s weight, as well as one of her legs cause Sam’s hand on it felt like a hot stove against it.
