The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

A shift of the eyes and a twitch of the body and the leg he was touching, gently he lifted his hand from her leg careful not to move the rest of his body to far or two close to her, he just remained his gaze locked on her face not sure what exactly what to do now, another awkward situation he had gotten them into. From the way her body shifted he could tell she was a little uncomfortable just as he was. There were a few things he could do to change that none of which his body did seeing as he was frozen up until the words she spoke finally reached his ears.
“Errr… I mean, right. Noted that.”
Why did he a agree to have a lesson with her, there was no way he could teach her the way he wanted the way he should but… his hand that was once inches from her backside slowly hovered over her frame till it reached the top of her head. An outstretched finger touched the side of her head from the temple till it trailed down her cheek then to her chin. Leaning in his mind screaming in a teacher’s disapproval as his lips met hers his hand still on her chin slightly until the kiss was over.
His eyes closed slightly until he pulled away from the kiss, eyes now wide he smiled to her and said, ”Uggghhh….Sorry… couldn’t resist…” he pulled his head back as he leaned up still sitting on his knees as his back straighten it self out as he pulled away from Alex. Leaning back to the point he fell on his butt Sam rubbed the back of his head as he looked to Alex and sighed, ”Think it be in your best interest if you continued to study under Luke, doubt you guys have a situation like this.” laughing slightly his eyes trailed up the body of the woman he had just kissed now laying on the ground, ”Sorry again…”
A few more seconds passed and neither she nor Sam were doing anything to get themselves out of the position that their bodies adopted. Alexandra stood frozen, lying on the hard cold metal. However, her body failed to register any of this, mind focusing solely on Sam, heart throbbing inside of her chest at a growing speed.
The hand Sam held on her leg moved and her breathing stopped for a few seconds. At first she thought his intention was to get up… instead, it hovered above her frame until it reached the top of her head and then, a finger touched her temple.
The small touch felt like a jolt of energy, trailing down her face. Her eyes half closed, but still watched Sam as she enjoyed his hand traveling down her face until it stopped on her chin. Out on the window went their teacher-student relationship, she thought as Sam was leaning in.
Then, her mind emptied to welcome the collection of various sensations she was registering. Her hand rose from its spot on the ground until it reached Sam’s back and was wrapped around the back of his neck.
When the kiss ended, her eyes closed completely for a few seconds, lips moving to form a small smile. Her hand slid off his back as she felt him trying to get up. Blue eyes opened to meet his while her smile widened visibly when hearing his apologies. Alexandra turned her body until it rested to the side, arm bending from her elbow in order to support her head.
Hair cascaded to her side, contrasting with the grayish color of the floor, while blue eyes watched Sam playfully. “Can’t blame you for not being able to resist.” she said. “It would have happened anyway.” Indeed it would have, because if Sam would have stuck to his teacher status, sooner or later, she would have made the same move as he did a few seconds ago.
“And no need to apologize either.” she added, pushing her body up and rotating it to the point where she was resting on her backside, legs extended in front of her, while both of her arms were resting on the ground to provide support for her body weight.
Letting the subject of her training hanging in the air, without having any particular idea on how she could react to it, she bent her knees slightly then extended them back. Her eyes shifted to Sam’s chest instead of his eyes, her smile fading away. Alexandra sighed before turning her eyes back to Sam’s.
“I missed you Sam.” she said, the abrupt confession being followed by her teeth clenching together after saying it. A few moments later and her face relaxed, lips forming an apologetic smile. “And… I’m really sorry for not warning you about my absence.” Alexandra sighed, unsure if this was the time for confessions, but seeing as both of them admitted of not being to train together properly, she figured that this session had just ended.

Nodding his slightly Sam quietly commented about it would have happened anyways, ”Even if it was going to happen I wish it didn’t happen during your training session, I mean part of me wanted it to happen and was glad that I gave in to the impulse but the teacher in me…” Sam shrugged slightly a small sad smile on his face not saying what he was thinking figuring it wouldn’t need to be said he left the comment hang in the air as he watched her lay to one side as she continued to speak.
Her chest moving up and down her eyes looking him over and then shifting and the subtle repositioning of her body twitching and then rotating till she found a more suitable position one that involved her pushing her own body up while her legs were extended in front of her. His eyes studied the movements she made until she spoke.
“I missed you Sam.”
Taken aback slightly Sam didn’t really know how to respond, yes he missed her and he was curious to figure out where she went but then again they weren’t a legitimate couple and even if he wanted to know what was so important for her to just pack up and leave with out so much as a warning. It was then he was reminded of Leila, she to just packed up and left but unlike Alex she didn’t come back. He watched her for a moment as she continued speaking.
“And… I’m really sorry for not warning you about my absence.”
He in fact ended the session he was after all the one that initiated the kiss that ended the session so he didn’t feel as guilty feeling and thinking like he was right now. He wanted to speak his mind and tell her the reason the last relationship he had didn’t work was because of his ex-girlfriend leaving without much of a warning, but he bit his tongue slightly figuring if she was truly sorry he would let it slide for the first time. ”Well,” he said calmly a hint of a smile forming on his face as he stared at Alex, ”I missed you too but, I have a good memory so your going to have to think of something to help me forget about you leaving without so much as a warning."
A smile was formed on Alexandra’s lips as Sam spoke, head tilted to the side as her playful look replaced the sadder, apologetic one. Her body moved again, now being pushed up, legs being crossed in front of her while elbows rested on her knees. Placing a hand on the right side of her chin, she put on a thoughtful look, while with the other hand she scratched her chin lightly.
After a few moments of adopting this position, both of her hands rested on her lap while her back straightened. “I’m sure I can do something about that.” she said, calmly, only one corner of her lips raising slightly up. “And I already said that I’ll try to pay for my mistake… whenever you have the time.”

Watching as the girl in front of him and grinned as she took up another more suitable position for her self, Sam remained where he was not moving a muscle, well maybe his eyelids but that was about it. For the time being he focused on Alex his eyes again trailing her body as she moved watching as her muscles and tendons stretched and relaxed as she moved, all she needed was wings and Sam thought she could pass for an angel.
”Well, Al…” Sam pushed himself up and extended a hand to Alex as he took a step closer to her offering to help her up, ”It just so happens I have some time off this evening,” ”Not that I planned it or anything” thought Sam lying to himself as he smiled to Alex, ”If your free tonight you can make it up to me then, like I said though better be good enough to make me forget though!” joked Sam as he let out a small laugh.
Looking about the Danger Room Sam decided that they have spent enough time trying to train in here after all it wasn’t his personal training room and anyone could waltz right in and spot teacher and student in a make out session something that wouldn’t reflect well on anyone.
Alexandra took Sam’s hand as she pushed herself up to a standing position, blue eyes watching Sam all the time, just like a predator would do with its prey. Although now being up, she didn’t let go of his hand but tightened her grip on it, slightly but still noticeable.
As she did so, the smile returned on her face, as happiness slowly started to emanate from every pore of her body. “This evening… sounds perfect.” she replied. Her own eyes shifted around the danger room, unknowingly sharing Sam’s feelings about being in it. With a sigh escaping her lips, she turned back to Sam. “Perhaps we should let people actually train in the danger room.” she said, laughing slightly.
