The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Raphael followed DocProf’s pointing finger and resulted in moving around the camp of tents. He looked on several sights that made the rows of medical tents seem ever more like the rows of tents housing war victims. He stopped to help move a victim or two before making his way back to the tent he had helped to move Orion to. He lifted the flap and stepped inside to see Tricity leaning over Cassiel as DocProf continued to work on the large man he had brought in earlier. He looked across the tent as Fade entered.
She looked tired, likely as tired as he was. He forced a smile and watched her offer to help. He then shuffled to the side as little Millie scuttled past him and over next to Tricity. He moved over to her and took a knee. He might regret it later, as he was feeling ever more exhausted, and held his hand out towards the little one. He normally did not approach little children, as he had very little experience with them. Not many children tended to show up ringside, and he was far to busy with other things before leaving home to have dealt with children.
“Hey there lil one,” Raphael said in a quiet tone, and then glanced up at Tricity as if to say ‘give her permission to take her back inside and then back to Millie. “I’m Raph, What’s your name?”
“Why don’t you come with me, back inside? We’ll talk ‘bout everything, ‘kay?” He said with a smile, his hand held out towards the little girl.
Tricity took a hold of Mike's hand, knowing the man must be okay, seeing as Daria had left his side...If it was Daria who had brought him here. "Doc??"
"Yes, she dropped him off a few moments ago when you had left the tent," he said hurriedly, trying to concentrate on Orion's healing.
Tricity was confused about this. She had scanned the entire lawn and kept her eyes on this tent. "I didn't see her anywhere!"
"Well, she can teleport, child. Daria looked fine." he replied, becoming somewhat startled at Millie's entrance into the tent.
Tricity mentally kicked herself for the stupid question just as Fade had approached her asking what she could do to help. "Oh, it's good to see you, Fade. You need to go rest. Really...you look exhausted. We can handle everything now. It's a matter of trying to patch everyone up." Suddenly, Millie had managed to wrap herself around Tricity's leg, entangling them both in the comforter she had dragged along with her outside. "Millie! What are you doing out here? None of the older students saw you??"
Raphael had come by and bent down to the little girl. Tricity nodded at him so he would bring the Millie back inside and put her to sleep. She bent over and kissed the top of her head. "We've brought the infirmary outside tonight, Millie. We are trying to help some sick mutants so they can feel better. You don't need to worry about it, they'll be fine. Why don't you let Raphael, here walk you back to your room and maybe read a story to get you back to sleep?" Tricity had asked, but meant it more as a comman as she turned Millie toward Raphael to take her little hand.

OOC- Very good...

Zeke chuckled a little as he stared at the X-Man (or should he say X-Woman?) and listened to her conversation with the one named Linda. He shook her hand and then stepped back a little to give her some space. His eyes swept to and fro accross the lawn. It was certainly crazy out here.
Finally, he turned back to the cat-woman. "Nice to meet you Daria. Thanks for your welcome. I am very glad to be here, and happy to help people here. Don't worry about the pride thing. I was just talking to my friend Nyle the other day about it. A healthy sense of pride is good." He smiled a little and then turned.
Motioning with his hand, "I can take you to Tricity, just follow me. It seems that things are really hustle bustle around here. She is very anxious to see you and a mutant she called Cassiel. I'm sure her seeing you will make her feel much better. These have been stressful days for her.
First mission led eh? Looks like it was sucessful." Glare spoke with a gleam in his eye as he began to walk in the direction he had last seen the headmistress. "What exactly is this all about. Lots of people hurt and lots of craziness. This must have been pretty serious. I hope your friend Mike is alright, I don't see him here."
He pushed is way past a few mutants and led Daria to the open place where he had last seen Tricity. "She was just here." Glancing around, Zeke spotted James' back in a large tent, and saw he was still there helping Tricity. Walking into the tent rapidly, he reached Tricity's side quickly, and just in time to hear her remark about where Daria might be.
"I think I can answer that Ticity, here she is." Then, turning to Daria, "Glad to be of assistance, now I must go see if I can help others here." He glimpsed at the body on the ground and recognized that this must be Mike, "I hope he's okay. James, thanks for your help."
Then spinning on his heels, he walked out of the tent, looking for someone new to help.

While walking around the area, a little girl rushed up to Ezekiel. Eyes wide and face smiling, she spoke quickly. "Whoa there, slow down. You got a letter eh?" Zeke had become quite popular with the students over the past few days, as he typically spent plenty of time with them during the lunch hours and rest times.
Smiling back, Zeke replied, "All right, you need to give that to Miss Tricity. She's over there in the big tent..." Zeke said motioning with his hand. "But I think she's busy now, so you should probably wait for another time." He patted her on the head and chuckled. "I have to be off now, people to help you know."

Sarah offered a big cheesy smile to the kind man also known as Glare as he half began to walk away from her, on his way to help however and wherever he could
"Sir, could you give it to her? I don't wanna go in there..."
Sarah asks him this, offering the letter toward him one more time...

A puzzled look came to Zeke's face. "What's so important about this letter that she has to get it now? Tell you what... why don't you go inside and put it on her desk in her office. Or, if the office is closed, just slip it under the door. I'm sure she'll get it soon. I tend to think that Miss Tricity has more important things than a single letter."
Zeke's mind started to wander. I wonder why the mailman would come at this time of night...

Sarah stood for a moment, frustrated, but decided since she didn't even know what the letter contained, she'd just follow Zeke's advice... but something was telling her this letter was very important...
"o-okay" the little girl conceeded... still half debating in her mind.
her shoulders dropped a bit, momentarily. she paused looking toward the big tent...
she began to progress toward the tent... something was telling her to get the letter to Miss Tricity as soon as possible.

Daria smiled. "Yeah Cassiel is Mike. I sent him straight to the tents."
She smiled at the comment about the mission. "Thanks, I...well I had alot of help. The mission was really just alot of Bull on the part of some non mutant scientist. Happened to be Linda's brother, that woman who just spoke to me. He had personal reasons for torturing mutants like my friend Emerald who's known him for a long time, and myself we met way back when I was like 13. Other than that he just wanted to disect us, see what made us tick. We're done with him now, though. Good." she smiled.
"Thanks for helping me find Tricity. And on behalf of the entire mansion I just wanna thank you for all the work you've been doing. It's always hectic around here after missions." She said goodbye as Zeke left and turned to Tricity, a sheepish smile on her face.

Sarah entered the tent sheepishly, attempting to remain unseen amongst the bodies that occupied the room. "If i could just get this in her pocket..." she thought, with the determination suddenly surging in her to the point where she could focus on nothing but the present and the goal... She began to tense, but the familiar sound of a Grand Piano playing an unknown, yet oddly familiar piece began chorusing through her mind. She felt focused and relaxed... Staying so quiet as to remain virtually invisible she slipped and slithered her little body toward 'Tricity with a level of precise stealth that was formerly foreign to the innocent young pianist. "Just A Little Closer, Dear" a voice inside of her coached. She paused. "what's going on?" she asked herself. The Grand Piano music grew still louder and more melodious within her head, washing away the doubt and realigning her focus. She walked up to Tricity and carefully slid the letter into the back pocket of her jeans. It seemed everyone's attention was so focused on the victims' recovery they barely paid Sarah any notice...
*******************************
Sarah emerged from the tent and the music in her head stopped. "a job well done, dear" a voice spoke.
Tricity turned at the familiar voice and saw Daria standing beside her. "Oh thank goodness." She quickly hugged her and then sighed, looking down at Mike on the bed. "I don't know how we're doing. I haven't taken an attendance for everyone yet, but it definitely needs to get done." Tricity looked back up to her fellow teammate with sad eyes. "What's happened to Mike?"

Daria smiled and hugged Tricity back. She teleported a stool over to herself-which took more energy than she was willing to use- and put her laptop on it.
"I have a program I worked on that will pick up the private line on the two way radios." she typed in something and waited for the program to load. Soon readings began to come in. "See? This is my radio, Mike's radio, your radio..." she smiled. "When there is a discrepency it'll alert us."
"I don't even know what happened to Mike. He...seems to have left his body...or something. He gave me the last of his will power to escape and come back here for help. When I came back he was here..." she bit her lip.
"I can't feel his thoughts...not present ones, just memories and what not. He's still alive obviously but...when I went to sleep I had nightmares...usually he keeps my night terrors away. So I know that he's not really all there. It's like his subconcious is unconcious as well." Daria shook her head, tears forming but she wiped them away.
A tiny slip of paper was sticking out of Tricity's pocket. "You're gonna lose that if you aren't careful." Daria said pointing.
"I can help, I really can, I'm wide-" Before she could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by a long and loud yawn on her behalf. "...awake." She wearily smiled as she finished her sentence. Her eyes were red and she looked a little pale, just plain wiped clean of energy.
"Well, I guess I could just sit down there and wait for-" Another yawn escaped her lips. "...someone to tell me what to do." She left the tent, but merely went right outside of it and procceed to sit...well, it was more of her knees buckling and the rest of her body just collapsing...on the moist grass. Then her eyes closed for a moment, only a moment. Yet a moment was all her body needed as she immediately drifted off into sleep, allowing her body to sink down to the ground until she was laying down, quite uncomfortably, but what did she care? It was sleep, no matter how you spelled it.

Millie smiled at the new guy and walked out from behind Tricity's leg. "My name Millie, but Johnathon called me Night Light, but Mamma Emmy call me Firefly. You can call me anything you want, well, not everything. Thit one mean boy, thit one time called me a tupid fate (face)! Pleat don't call me that. I told on him and he got in trouble, Johnathon told him that it not nite to tay that and he taid torry." She said, going off in all different direction, yet this is the mind of a child, and not just any child, it was Millie for goodness sakes!
"But I don't want to leep. I haven't teen Mammy Emmy in long time! Where it tea? I wanna tea her!" She stomped her foot in a demand but in the attempt to stomp her foot, she stepped on her comforted and fell forward, becoming tangled up in the comforter while sprawled out on the grass.
"Mit Tipper! The blanket itn't nite! Take it away!" She pouted as she attempted to kick off the comforter, but failed miserably. "Wait, I torry, can you pleat make it get off of me firt? I think it trying to eat me." Her blue eyes wandered back to the comforter and she giggled. "Tilly blanket, I not food! Let go, or elt I will tell on you." She threatened the comforter.

Zeke stepped away from the girl and headed off toward the chopper Daria had come from. About halfway there, he turned and saw the girl walking in the opposite direction from what he had suggested. He stared in amazement as the young girl directly contracted his orders. Tricity is extremely busy... why didn't she listen to me?!?
Spinning around he headed in the direction of the tent and reached it in a few seconds. He got there just in time to see the girl slip the letter in Tricity's back pocket and hear Daria's comments about it. Then someone stepped in front of Zeke, and before he regained sight of what was going on in the tent, the girl had vanished. Likely headed back to the mansion.
Then, with a slight shout, another little girl tumbled onto a matress and started to rave about it attacking her, or something to that effect. Zeke walked into the tent and up to the little girl. Reaching his hands down, he grasped the girl and pulled her to her feet. "There, there. Telling on people isn't always the best way to go about things. Sometimes we have to let things go." He sighed a little and smiled, trying to help the girl understand that blaming others was not always the best solution. "I don't think I've met you before... what's your name little one? I'm Zeke..." he said, patting her on the head.
