The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Miss Tricity is the head Mistress here... Anyone who chooses reside here, or study here, needsa visit her." He said in response to Evie's question after catching his breath. He then looked back to Fade. "It's... difficult. I'm still getting used to it... I see you've healed nicely..." then in a softer voice, "Would still like to get my hands on the soldier that did it too you."
He looked back to the pair of people he had left by the front door. "Ugh... it's pretty free range here... I've not found anywhere off limits... dorms are on the second floor, there's more than likely an empty one... though there's paperwork that Miss Tricity's got that you'll need to fill out... Her room's on the second floor as well."
He directed his gaze back to Fade, then asked in a quieter tone, "Can we talk Jenny? Preferably elsewhere?"

Eldwyn took Raphael's hand, "Names Eldwyn Nyle Bebeodan, please call me Wyn or Nyle." He looked to Evie and smiled warmly. He followed the two inside. He noticed the girl on the stairs when they entered. Chuckling softly, "Three new people I've seen today, and I've talked to nearly no one yet." He spoke quietly to himself.
'Well, it seems Fade and Raphael know eachother.' Looking up to Fade, "No need to apologize, I just moved in about a week ago. Names Eldwyn, call me Wyn or Nyle. Whichever you prefer."
Raphael seemed distracted by the young woman. "Hey, don't worry bout her. You two go on, I'll show her around and bring her to Miss. Tricity in a bit. Okay?" He looked at Evie, "I'm sure you'd like to find a room first, or perhaps something to drink?" He noticed that she seemed a bit tense and shy. "Where might you be from?"
"Yeah, that healing mutant sure did help out alot." She shrugged, even though she couldn't feel the pain, she remembered just how much she hurt and ached and how glad she was when the mutant began to heal her. "Believe me, if you find him, make sure I can join in on the beating."
"Of course you can talk to me, um, where do you wanna go? or do you just wanna wait for the others to go see Miss Tipper?" She replied to Raph's question. Her eyebrow raised in curiousity but she knew that all things would reveal themselves once they were alone, so she lowered it again and smiled.
"Thanks Wyn." She looked down as he offered to show Evie around.
Raphael nodded towards Eldwyn as he offered to take up the tour guide position. He looked back towards Fade and nodded some, realizing she was on the same wave length as he as far as privacy went. "Hungry? The kitchen likely doesn't have anybody in it at this time.... not quite dinner, and well after lunch." He stated, then wondered why he immediately tossed the location of their last serious talk... really their last long talk... out to the wind.
He shook the thought process from his mind, and let it settle on the fact he had someone to chatter with. He then lead the way down the stairs, waving the the crowd of new people before heading down the hall towards the kitchen.
((swapping over to the kitchen board, startin' a thread there))

Obviously Fade and Rapheal knew each other, Evie thought that Fade and Rapheal knew each other well based on the way they looked at each other. So she just merley smiled at them and said "Thanks for the help." before she turned to Wyn, leaving them to themself. "So you've been here for a week? What do you think of this place so far? Is Miss Tipper nice?" Evie was so nervous she didn't know if Miss Tipper would accept her. Would this new school accept her?

Nyle watched to two go, then turned to answer Evie. "Well, it's a beautiful place. I enjoy it here. The little ones are always fun. I came here after wandering for a few years, I just showed up out of the blue just as the sun was raising. They let me in and treated me like an old friend" He smiled remembering the kids playing in the yard. "Miss.Tricity, is, hmm, she's one of, if the THE, nicest person I've ever had the pleasure of talking to. She's very accepting of people and their differences." He noticed her nervousness. He began to raise his arm to set it down on her shoulder, but stopped himself before it moved more than an inch, 'Maybe she's not a very touchy feely person..' He pushed the thought to the side, 'Even if she isn't, I've always found the contact of sympathy and a friendly smile to help.' He gently set his hand on her shoulder and smiled brightly. "Don't worry about anything. None of us would be here if we weren't accepting of others."
He put his hand in his pocket and looked to the stairs where Fade and Rapheal had been. "Remember what he had said, 'it's pretty free-range here.' He's right. You can do most anything you want. From training, to reading all day, to, to...um..well..anything." He laughed at his brain freeze. He looked at Evie, "Sorry, I guess my brain locks up on me from time to time." Again he smiled at her. "Personally, I've spent a lot of my time just walking around the grounds, watching people and how they interact with everyone, and playing my violin outside"
"Did you have any bags or belongings with you? I can show you where the girls' rooms are, if you want to pick one out and drop your stuff off."

"She sounds nice. And the school sounds great. Oh, and don't worry about the brain locks, I have them all the time myself." It was a comfort to have his hand on her shoulder and it showed her just how welcoming the school was and well, obviously, still is.
"Oh, right, my bag. Yeah, I'm sorry, I must have left it outside. Forgot I had it, I'm not too used to carrying a big bag around with me, but when in a hurry, I can't suddenly get used to carrying that thing around, you know?" She had realized that she said 'when in a hurry' and feared that maybe he would ask about that. If that were to come, she would say it was because of the harsh times at her schools, and nothing about her father. She shouldn't even be talking about her father, he's a thing of the past and Evie had to erase him from her mind before it did more damage.

He noticed her relax when he set his hand on her shoulder, glad that she did not stiffen or rebuff it. "I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets them." He smiled at her. "No appology needed. It happens to the best of us. It took me awhile to get used to carrying my case and bag around with me when left home. I accidentally forgot them on a bus once." He chuckled and seemed to be a bit embarassed at the memory. "Thankfully the driver ran after me when he noticed." He moved to the door and opened it, "Wait right here a moment, I'll go get it for you. Be right back." With that he stepped out and jogged to the gate. Looking around outside it he spotted the bag. 'Well, I don't know what her powers are or how comfterble she is with them. I'll show her mine, hopefully she'll feel more open and not so nervous if she sees others using theirs..' Eldwyn held his right hand out, the ring and pinky still curled to touch his palm as the other three seemed to reach out for the bag. Turning his palm upwards, while lifting his hand up and bringing the tree fingers together, the bag lifted up and floated over the gate. He turned around and jogged back through the open door with the bag in tow, it followed right behind him never jossling or bouncing once.
After taking a couple of deep breaths, "Here ya go," With an open palm he brought the bag to rest right next to her on the floor. "I didn't know if you had anything important or valuble to you in it, so I wanted to be careful with it." He smiled to her, it wasn't his normal large smile, but a closed lip smile, full of care and happiness.

"Thank you." She replied in her sweet voice as he put her bag down on the ground next to her. For the first time in a while, she felt as though she didn't have to hide her powers, that she could show them and feel just a little bit proud of them. So, even though part of her said not to and that it'd result in judgement, she looked down at the bag and moved her wrist towards it so that the palm was over it. Yes, she could do this without the hand motion, but it was easier this way. As soon as her hand reached out over it, the bag floated up, passing by her hand and hovering next to her. Without any concern for if the bag was going to fall, she grabbed the shoulder strap and put it around her neck. The sideways movement that the bag underwent made her have to stop using her powers on it until she had it in a final position, in which case she made it hover, even though it was strapped on, so that she didn't have such a large weight on her shoulder. "So where's Miss Tipper? Oh, and of course, where'll I be sleeping?" She asked with a smile, feeling relieved that the weight wasn't on her shoulders. Evie was still getting used to her powers since she was just now learning to use them and control them due to how she hid them before, but she felt proud of herself for making the bag float and not sink into the soil, thus she couldn't help but smile.

"You're quite welcome." He smiled Slightly surprised as he watched the bag float upwards, it showed on his face. "Oooh, telekenesis?" 'Wow, I didn't think I'd meet someone able to do that so soon.'
He smiled at her. "Miss.Trisity is upstairs in the infirmary right now. But don't worry about that, shes fine. She's not there for any bad reason, shes.." he paused, "Well, thats for her to say." He smiled at her, and started to move toward the stairs and took a few steps upward. "Well I'll show you to your room, what do you say cutie?" His eyes went wide when he realized what he said, his cheeks became a bit more rosey as he blushed. "I..ahh..umm. Sorry." His voice went down a few notches of volume as he spoke. He looked her in the eye momentarily before averting them and rubbing the back of his neck from embarasment. "Ahh..its ahh, this way."

"It's accually more that telekinetic, I can munipulate gravitational pull. I can't pull things left and right, only up and down. I can even pull thing through the ground, but not very far." Evie said, when she heard what Wyn said she couldn't help but blushing, after all, she wasn't all that used to people being so nice to her, much less using "cutie". Seemed like it had been a while since someone called her that, since after her mutation became evident and her father became angry with her. Then again, she had to reply, couldn't just leave him 'hanging'. " It's ok, so I guess you're telekinetic, huh?"

'Phew, glad there was no negitive reaction,' His inner self pursed his lips to the side, 'Though I don't know why I expected to get one..Stupid stupid Wyn.' Mentally he sighed at himself. In a quiet voice, "Ahh, ye-yeah," He cleared his throat 'What are you doing dummy, you can still talk, so do it!' This time he mentally slapped himself. "Sorry, cat had my tonge. Yeah, I'm telekinetic. It's the most outwardly noticable of my three abilities." He paused as a small laugh escaped the light hearted smirk that appeared on his face. "The first two, Miss.Tricity asked me to try and refrain from using on anyone in the house, especially without their permission." His full smile returned to his face as he looked at the girl. "Essentually, I could influence you to do just about anything, take derect control of your body, and make you do something."
"But, ahh, don't worry bought that, okay? I honestly don't know how well I can control either of them, never practiced with them often. And more important, it's rude, impolite, and invasive to other people." He stepped down to the first stair, and held his hand out for Evie.

Evie's eyes got bigger when she heard what Eldwyn could do, it was a poweful gift and she could tell why Miss Tipper wouldn't want him to use it on others. "It must suck that you have this amazing power but you can't use it, but I can understand why you can't." Evie stated with a curious face. She thought that she was asking too many questions and decided to shut up for the moment. Evie stepped down a couple more stairs then grabbed Eldwyn's hand.

Holding her hand gently, as a gentleman should, he walked with her up the stairs. "It's not all that bad. I practice as often as I can." 'Which is why I have my lovely laptop.' A playful smirk played accross his face from that memory. When the reached the top of the stairs, he pointed down one halway, "That wing is for you ladies," He pointed down the other, "That one, for us guys, and that one," pointing straight ahead, "Is the infirmary and where the older students and residents live."
He stepped to the side, "I'll wait for you here while you find a room for yourself." He bowed slightly, putting his left arm in the middle of his chest, as his right swung gently to the side, his chin tucked to his chest and eyes closed.

Evie continued to smile as she looked down the hallway to the girls' section of rooms. "Thank you, I'll just be really fast." She let go of his hand and walked down the hall, carrying her bag until she reached the closest room, where it hovered in front of the door. Her hand reached out to the door way and she leaned forward, looking around inside. After a good look, she let go of the doorway and walked in. First, she walked over to the window and opened it.
My, this is so beautiful. she thought as a gasp escaped her. Then, she moved over to the bed and pushed on it with her hand before sitting down.
This is comfortable. she thought as she lay down. However, she wanted to know if she could pick any room, so she got off of the bed and leaned out of the doorway.
As she adverted her attention back to Wyn, she asked, of course by progecting her voice so he could hear her. "So can I just pick any one, or do I have to talk to Miss Tipper first?"
