The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It was scary how simple it was for the order to arrange a meeting with the Mayor of New York City at their leisure, but then one had to consider the persusavie powers that laid at the Orders disposal. The fine offices that were established for the Mayor and everyone that worked to run the cities government were vast an regal. But Today THe Key to the city would change hands. Today Mutants would pull the unseen strings.
Polished shoes clacked on marble floors. Briefcases and cell phones occupied the hands of the chic employees. They Mayor and control lay only three security checkpoints away and one secretary away.

The true fact was it was only scary for the humans that had to set up the meeting. It really didn't take much effort from the Order. With all the abilities available, any one of them could find a way to ensure the meeting witht he city Mayor was scheduled. That in itself was delightfully sweet in Syn's mind. Now it was time to bring the city under order control.
Today Syn was wearing a slightly more dressy style of clothes. A black corset with red velvet running down the sides was matched with a red skirt with thin black strips also running up and down. Her outfit was finished off with her silver "Syn" necklace, a black studded wristband and black boots with red laces. Her walking was every bit short of a clicking sound. It was more like a heavier thumping sound.
Petunia was at Syn’s right elbow and the other girl didn’t stand much taller than that. With her round face, oval eyes and long black hair set in pig tails, petunia looked like she was nothing more than a teen. A child, and she liked it that way.
She was dressed in a elegant blazer that bordered on being goth because the cut cam close to her waist, fanned out around her hips, and sported even slits for her dragon fly wings to stick through. Add the appearance of green shiny eye shadow that cam from Pix’s mutation and her steal toe boots, and pix was ready for business. Bring on the mayor!
Hymn was dragged along for a meeting with somebody who was on the tv once in a while. It was her first meeting with somebody who knew how the tv looked like from the inside. She was standing behind pix, hiding a bit trying no to act "out of order".
She wore what she would normally wear. Black pants and her fluffy jacket. She didn't have that much fancy clothes and mostly she feared them. She tryed to stay behind pix since she didn't know the boss lady very well. Most people found her scary but hymn didn't notice it that much.... yet.
Mayor Strybrome sat behind his desk his chair facing the large glass window over looking his city, he flipped through the times enjoying the peace that his secretary was keeping for him this morning, she had even go so far as to send his guards on errands, throw the wife off of his trail and the girlfriend to boot. she had said that no one would be bothering him for a solid hour. an impossible amount of time to go unplanned for such a busy man, it was invigorating, and he spent it doing what he might be doing anyhow, what was invigorating about it then? it was unobserved and uninterrupted.
Too bad for the slightly balding but exquisitely fit older gentleman that his secretary only took such liberties under a wicked woman's order. He stretched and rose from his chair and grabbed his putter out of the corner and begin to shoot a round or two of golf balls strait to the other corner and to a little hole set up to be discreet. He sighed with pleasure.
((OOC: Hope you girls don't mind a slight bit of god modding to get us through the check points.))
Not carrying any weapons helped with the first security check point. The guards looked over the three ladies very carefully as they passed by. No, they weren't looking for weapons. It was quite apparent they had other things on their weak little minds. Unbeknownst to them that they had already allowed three very deadly mutants pass them.
The second security check point was where Syn would have to rely on her dealings with the Mayor's Secretary. Syn had instructed the woman to ensure passage through all check points. So, in her detailed chain of events the Secretary called the gaurds just seconds before the three ladies approached. The woman informed the guards that these three guests were already scheduled for a private visit. Naturally the guards began making comments and with great big smiles they gestured for the girls to pass through. It didn't take a mind reader to know what they were thinking.
Finally they reached the Secretary's desk and just a few feet away was the Mayor's office doors. Syn approached the Secretary directly. "I thank you for setting all of this up. I trust everything else has been taken care of?"
The woman nodded. "Yes, everything is set as you requested. He's in there alone, but you have less than an hour before his bodygaurds return." She tried to sound like her normal self but there was a destinct hint of fear in her voice.
"Very good. I would like all the information you have on our dear Mayor to include his bodygaurds, wife, children or any possibleladies he might have other relations with." Naturally all of this would be used as blackmail should the need arise. While Syn had no doubt that herself and her companions could get the Mayor to bow to their wishes it never hurt to have extra leverage.
Pix followed orders and walked in a perfect line step by step, right next to Syn. Professional with a snap in every movement that showed her own confidence even though she only maybe came to Syn’s shoulder.
At the secritary’s desk, Petunia smiled as politely as possible with the way her eye’s crinkled at the corners. Syn gave her orders and pix added some orders of her own. “If you have information on the friends of his wife, and children that would be useful as well.” As long as they were going this far why not go all the way. Torturing one person was fun but a crowd was much more useful. Especially a crowd that knew each other. Plus it gave these people more things Pix, errr ah. The Order, could take away from him.
All three of them walked through various checkpoints without any problems. Every checkpoint had a guard that scared the crap out of Cailyn. She followed the pixy lady exactly 2 inches behind her. Even though they went through all the checkpoint without a problem she was still scared to get caught and what not. If that happened she would be having a big problem.
Eventually they reached the end of the hallway with big doors. The big doors probably lead to the big cheese, which she was told that he was evil and that he eats little baby birds. The mayor was a bad man and needed to be controled seemingly.
"Very good. I would like all the information you have on our dear Mayor to include his bodygaurds, wife, children or any possibleladies he might have other relations with."
“If you have information on the friends of his wife, and children that would be useful as well.”
She had no clue what to say. She simply said : "Yeah" In a scared and hidden way while she stood behind pix. It was all confusing to her what the entire plan was but she thought that if she sticked to pix like a fly to fly paper, it would all turn out well.
The young woman nodded sheepishly., and then opened a drawer, she lifted on a latch and the drawer had a false bottom , she handed the woman in lead the manila folder and said quietly. " I was saving some of this stuff for a bad work day but, I think that I'd rather have you three happy with me then him. "which was saying a lot, the man behind the door was no pushover. " If you wanted to get him to throw a raise my way, I'll keep tabs on him for you?" the woman wasn't sure if she was over stepping her bounds, but she felt a bit kindred with the three demanding young woman, She was just another pretty young woman trying to get ahead.
Strybome putted the Day away blissfully oblivious to the oncoming bad, bad bad day. by the end of it he would hardly be able to blame his leggy assistant for trembling before the three woman that were on their way.
With Pix adding to the list of demands from the Secretary Syn stood silent and waited. Then a surprising "Yeah" came from Cailyn. The girl haden't said much of anything the whole way here till now. Syn gave what sounded like half a giggle and smiled at the third member in her little procession.
The Secretary acknolwedged with the demands without hesitation. The girl was smart as she didn't do anything to provoke the three visitors. Then something surprised Syn. The Secretary made a request to get the Mayor to give her a raise. Her justification for the request was that it would motivate her to keep tabs on the Mayor. This wasn't pleasing at all. "I have a better idea. If it's motivation you need in order to keep us up to date then I'm sure we can find a way to help you feel up to the task." Syn looked to both Pix and Cailyn in a gesture to allow either one to motivate the stupid human.
Once all the information was gathered, and the sweet little Secretary had been handled Syn headed for the mayor's doors. She didn't even knock once before opening the door and stepping into the lavish office area. "Greetings Mayor Strybome! My associates and I are going to have a little talk with you and you're going to listen."
