Yawning with a stretch, Shin strode down the hallway towards his room. His eyes trailed along the walls of the mansion’s hallway as his back craned, skipping over picture after picture of mansion founders and important people, finally flopping back to a right-side-up view as he passed under a light. Sudden voices caught his ears, and he looked towards the adult rooms.

“Hey,” he waved to the two people, taking a few steps towards them. He stopped about a meter from Codi and Shawn. “New student?”

"We've got lots of people who are afraid of their powers. That's why we teach a mutation control class." He explain to Codi. He then heard some foot steps coming down the hallway. Shawn looked around to see someone he didn't recognize. "You just need practice and you'll get better at them." Streak said trying to give Codi some confidence.

"Hey. Ya. This is Codi. Codi this is...Um...Sorry I don't think we've met. I'm Streak. Who are you?" He said to the guy that was coming down the hallway towards the two.

Codi looks up when streak started to talk to someone "hi i'm codi i think i'll make a great addition to the house." he reached out his hand to shake shins hand. trying not to think about what happened last time he used his powers.

Shin accepted the hand, shaking it. “Oh sorry, I guess I should introduce myself as well. My name’s Tetsuya Shinbo… just call me Shin for short.” He grinned. His eyes turned to look at the rooms, and he rested his hands on his hips, letting out a whistle.

“You sure picked a good day to show up. I’ve been unpacking my things since 8AM this morning, hence the yawning.” He added the last part with a wink. “I guess it would be rude of me to rope you two into helping, but I suppose I can take a break from shifting luggage to help show you around. Codi, was it? Welcome to the mansion!”

codi's huge grin came back he was happy to be offered a moment to help out. "nice to meet you so how long have you been here and do you like it."

Shawn listened to the two exchange greetings. "Hi Shin. Glad to hear that you're settling in alright. Well if you need a break We could always use some extra conversation." Streak said to Shin as the two became more familiar with each other. "Well. You're welcome to join us if you want. Shall we continue our tour Codi?" Shawn asked as he prepared to continue moving. It wasn't that he didn't want to converse with Shin or anything but he didn't like to stand around and ever since Sam and him had gotten that office he liked to spend more and more time in there.

Codi took another deep bow "after you i'm ready when you are." codi wondered if he could take his hat off in here. so he asked "would it be ok if i took my hat off?" he asked both trying to be polite

“Sure thing,” Shin replied. “A good stretch of the legs and all that…” He nodded, turning to Codi. “… And I’ve only been here about a week… it’s a nice place. You meet friends quick here. They even have cake.”

He prepared to follow Shawn and Codi on their tour.

follows both thou he was not sure if he should take off the hat the horns on his head made him look a little...weird. he decided to take it off waiting as thou it would frighten shin. he just pretended like nothing happened and walked quitely.

"Ya you can take your hat off." Streak said to Codi as they started to walk along the hall. " Streak led the little group of mutants outside once again. "This is another part of the grounds. Back here we've got a giant peaceful flower garden if you like to do meditation and things of that sort." He said as they walked past the beginning of the garden. He continued to walk along.

As they walked Shawn began to wonder how much Sam showed people when he gave them tours and how much the two differed from each other. They were drawing near the pool which was, in Shawn's opinion, a little hidden from every thing else in the mansion. "We've also got our pool here, which we teach a lot of the kids with water related mutations. There seems to be quite a few of them here but then again we've got a big variety of mutations here." Streak said. He wanted to say this mainly because Codi still seemed selfconscious about his powers.

codi walked a little more happily since no one made a big deal about the horns. codi leaned in closer to shin and streak "thank you for not saying anything." almost instaintly he thought about this and realized he thought he sounded a little prejudice. he almost freaked out because he didn't ever want to be that person "sorry i... didn't mean..." blushes

“Say anything about what?” Shin replied, turning to smile at him. He looked back at the pool in wonder. “They never showed me this part of the school. I’m impressed.” Maybe he’d have to take someone swimming here soon. The garden they’d passed also lit a larger blip on his ‘fun factor’ radar. A nice quiet place to read a book… that was cool. He let out a slight yawn. He was tired just thinking about it.

Raina came dashing through the halls with 5 music stands for the music classroom. At first she whirrled past Streak and his two guests without even a blink of an eye. A few feet past them she slowed to a stop realizing that he could have been with two new students. Especially since their faces didn't register with her yet. She paused a moment to set down the music stands and fix her hair then she spun on her heels.

She walked confidently toward the group radiating her usual hapiness and kindness. Her red hair was sweapt back losely and she was dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a knit green sweater. "Hey Shiny man!" she said with a grin to Streak. "who're your friends?"

codi blushed at the site of the beutiful woman "hi...um...i'm codi..." he did all he could not to faint from her gorgouse looks.

“Well, hi.” Shin smiled at Raina and stifled a laugh at Codi’s reaction. The kid really did blush hard when gorgeous beauties came calling. “My name’s Shin. Nice to meet you, Miss…?”

He paused, thinking.

“Sorry, didn’t catch the name. Judging from the music stands scattered down the hall, though, I’d have to say… music teacher?” That would make her a member of the mansion’s teaching caste, which was a good thing for Codi to meet. He closed his eyes confidently.
