blood rain begins to walk out of a dark alley thinking to himself. "to think its only been two mounths since the accident, sigh uncle couldn't make it. if only i would have been there." a man walking with a freind past blood rain was talking very rudely
about mutants "so i heard theres a school of freaks in new york..." he followed them unseen until he got the info he needed.
the very next week he was in new york he stumbled upon the huge house he tried to get in eventualy he sat down on the curb thinking someone would come out soon

Thankfully the new security systems worked. He was alerted almost immediately that there was someone approaching the mansion gates. Streak didn't recognize him and took the guy to be a new student. Before leaving his office he looked back at the monitor and saw that the boy was sitting down waiting for someone to open the gates. Shawn picked up a pamphlet and some other things that the new student would need for living at the mansion. Making sure that he looked as human as possible, because let's face it not all mutants like to think of themselves as mutants, he started heading down towards the gate.

Aside from his silver eyes, a normal person wouldn't be able to tell that there was anything different about him than the local grocery store human. He loved being a mutant but he also like to not be discriminated against and he was sure that he could blend in if he ever needed to again. Finally reaching the gates he saw the kid in the flesh and said, "Hi there," as the gates swung open to allow the kid entrance to the school. "What brings you to this school?" Shawn asked giving the guy a smile.

Blood rain stood up to go shake hands with the man who opened the gate. "Hello my name is codi kellner, i am seeking a santuary for people of my kind." he blushed almost instantly after saying this. Codi removes his hat to reviel tiny horns and then he bows.

Shawn shook the guys hand. "I'm Shawn. We've got plenty of room here at the mansion." Shawn answered the guy. Well at least he knows what he wants. Streak thought it was a little weird that the kid bowed to him but there were people here that did much weirder things that bowing. "Come on in Codi. So tell me a little bit about yourself." Streak wanted to get as much info out of him as possible. "Just the basics ya know. I don't need whole life story if you don't want to tell me."

Streak continued to smile at Codi as he back up a little so that he could get through the gate. There weren't many people out on the grounds, and that seemed to happen quite a bit after battles people are scared that something like that will happen again. All that passes with time.

"Well i grew up on the streets haveing to fend for myself until just recently." Codi began to say as they walked toward the mansion. "That was when my life changed forever my uncle who lived in new jersey found me and took me in, " Looked down at the sidewalk as he continued thou streak thought he saw him begin to cry. "My uncle died two months ago in a terrable car crash if only i would have gotten there in time. " Codi stopped talking immedeatly
thinking he would upset shawn but continued to walk anyway. He was silent the rest of the way in.

Shawn listened to Codi talk. he was apparently sad about what had happened. Although something did catch Streak attention. "What do you mean, 'if only i would have gotten there in time'? What's your power? Can you bring people back to life?" Shawn's curiosity was peaked by this one comment. He didn't really pay much attention to the sob story because most people, including himself, had one with one variation or another.

The silver eyed man then decided to write down a few of the things Codi had told him. He opened the folder that was in his hand wrote down bits and pieces of Codi's story. He needed more information to complete Codi's registration and had a feeling that he could get it out of him if he asked the right questions tactfully enough.

Codi pirked up a little "my power is the abillity to control blood and i can heal myself almost instaintly, i can only control my own blood." codi is a little sad "he was a very kind man he left me a fortune in his will."

Streak wrote down Codi's mutation. "Very cool power man." he said trying to cheer him up. The reached the mansion doors, finally, and Shawn opened the door for him. Shawn stepped inside and waited for Codi to follow him inside the huge mansion. "Well we can now start your tour." He said to him. The tour was an easy process and he'd done this many times before this kid showed up. "How old are ya?" Streak asked him.

"We've got rooms for kids and we've got rooms for adults, unless you have another place that you're staying at. You don't have to stay at the mansion but you can if you want. Are you planning on taking classes or just living here?" Shawn asked. It didn't matter either way because they had students doing both. In fact he was one of the ones that didn't take any classes.

codi stated in sort of a confuesed state "you mean i can stay here?" this was indeed the best news he had heard in awhile. "I'm 18 yrs old and i would most definitly like to take classes." Codi ran up to hug shawn, but almost instaintly backed away and blushed "i apologize i just got a little worked up."

"Dude we've got more dangerous people living here than you. And if we turn away everyone who thought they were dangerous then we'd have an empty school." Shawn stated to Codi. Streak immediately took up a defensive stance when Codi ran towards Shawn to hug him. It wasn't something he was used to. Especially not from guys but he relaxed and laughed when Codi stopped. "Don't worry about it Codi. I'm just a little jumpy when people run at me. Bad experiences, any way. 18 huh? perfect we've got a room for you. Whada ya say we start the tour?" He said as he indicated the many hallways that branched off of the main entrance.

Before they left the silver eyed man picked up a map and handed it to Codi. "Follow me." Shawn said as he headed off. "The place is big so you may get lost a few times, that's why I suggest using the map until you get used to this place. I'll show you your room last." Pointing around he indicated the down the hall with lots of rooms next to each other.

codi was still a little embarrased as he walked down the hall. "Thank you for not being mad when i hugged you. So do you like living here, i've never met any other mutant." he said a little scaired in this situation hopeing he would get used to it soon.

"Ya I love living here. This place is my home." He said as he continued to walk through the halls. "Here's something you'll really like." Shawn turned down the second hallway to their right. It was full of classrooms. "This is where all our classes are taught." He said continuing thought the hallway. At the en of the hallway he turned down another. "Oh ya. Upstairs is where the younger kids sleep. Don't be afraid to meet new people around here. Everyone's nice." He continued to explain a few things as they walked along.

"The infirmary is right here." He said pausing in front of the door. "We have a resident Doctor on hand that can help you or anyone with injuries at any time of day or night." Streak said he paused for a minute in case Codi had any more questions.

Codi was very excided he had not had a real home since two months ago. "what kind of classes do you teach here" he said throu a huge grin.

"We teach the basics. Ya know, like math, sciences, English, psychology. Stuff like that. Plus we teach other things as well that you wouldn't find in a normal school. Like how to control your mutation, how to make you stronger, how to defend yourself." Streak explained to Codi. It was apparent that Codi was happy to stay here. Most were whey they learned that they could stay, of course Streak didn't mention the X-Men or any of the battles that ensued just from living at the mansion where the X-Men presided.

Shawn then headed back towards the adult rooms. He might as well get him the room before he forgot about it.

Codi was a little upset all of a sudden when he learned he would have to use his power. in the past his powers had only brought missery and sarrow. the grin fadded "i...i'm afraid to use my abillitys" he said very sadly
