The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Emerald meekly nodded, the wolf girl sat down on the chair and before she knew it she fell fast asleep. She curled up in a little ball, changing into her wolf form, and began sleeping soundly on he soft chair.
Isabel followed a short distance behind Geist as they entered the decrepit old building that once served as a church, he eyes sweeping across the room at the fair amount of people gathered in small clusters spread throughout the large room. One group in particular really did look like mutants, their canine characteristics a dead give away, though Isabel thought it to be rather interesting.
She turned her head to the side as a woman with feline characteristics spoke into the microphone after another young man had introduced her as Daria. So these were the infamous X-Men. Isabel was definitely intrigued, turning her full attention toward the woman, listening intently for any background and instructions concerning the gathering.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
"Hmm, wonder who he is then," Tristan thought to himself as the man with black hair and purple highlights who intoduced himself as Geist cut in to ask Suna a question. Tristan shivered involuntarily as a cold breeze seemed to blow in right on the man's heels. "Yeah no problem," Tristan said with a little sarcasm behind it. " I'll find you after the meeting Setsuna." With that Tristan looked around and noticed that several more mutants had come in.
After a moment an african-american girl in her early 20s walked in, followed closely by what appeard to be a lycan. Shortly after they arrived, the Hispanic looking guy he saw when he first came stepped up to the mic, getting everyone's attention. He introduced himself and the others that had helped set up as the X men and then gave the floor to Daria, the african-american girl who had just entered. Tristan assumed that she would tell them more about the kidnappings and would shed some light as to who was behind them and what could be done about them.
Dominic scanned the church from their higher position in the room to get a feel for all the different mutants sitting throughout the aisles. It was very packed, much to his surprise. He hoped they would be willing to help with their cause, though he also wondered whether everyone would be able to get along. Tricity and Xavier's philosophy was all about getting along with humans, but a lot of mutants would rather dominate the human race. Dominic wondered whether those mutants were here. Nonetheless, everyone needed to know about the threat of being captured by Fusionist.
Partially satisfied with the young womans reply, Geist decided to wait out for a second, but had also decided that if this party hasnt gotten started soon that he'd abandon this venture and try it his way. Just then a guy appearing to be one of the coordinators of this shindig made the opening announcement of the meeting, introducing the hostess of the night in the process. Geist shrugged sincerely and left the entrance area where Isabel stood. Mosieing down an aisle, Geist approached a pew to take a seat. However, unbeknownst to Geist the pew he was about to sit in was errected improperly and looked as if it were going to fall apart any second. Sadly no one was present with the knowledge to warn Geist of the haphhazard workmanship, and Geist could be seen slowly seating himself just as the pew collapsed. Geist was now on the ground, snickering could be heard in the background as he rose from the imploded pew. "What the frechin dues!!" Geist shouted in an embarassed rage, looking around to see if any on looker was looking to start somethn. "Haha ya real frechin funny, you evolutionary throwbacks!" Geist slowly walked to the back to lean against a stable wall near Isabel, hating every second he stood in that room.
The shadowy, hooded figure did not answer, and ignored him. Perhaps they were asleep, or zoned out. After waiting a few seconds with his hand out, Ira gave up and walked off and returned to his stone throne in the back on the other side of the room, just as more people began to arrive. A man clad in purple and black walked in, bringing a chill with him, followed by a young woman wearing mostly green. Ira smiled as he shivered in the chill, waves of mild pleasure rippled down his back. He likes the cold. In fact he likes a lot of things, he enjoys sensations in all their glory, pain; pleasure; hot; cold; wet; hmm, but not dry.
He cozied himself into his stone seat, then craned his head round to watch the room. Two woman arrived, one with catlike features, and the other with a tired look. The tired young lady walked over to the wolves and they regarded each other with respect. The woman with catlike features walked up to the man next to the mic. The man spoke into the mic, he introduced himself as Wire and the cat lady as Daria, then after starting the meeting by briefly stating why they were here, he handed over the mike to Daria. Meanwhile there was a clatter of noise from the otherside of the room, as the man in purple and black got up from the broken rubble of a pew. <Woops.. my bad> thought Ira, quietly chuckling to himself as someone else snickered loudly. As the man leant against the sturdy wall next to the green clad woman, Ira twirled a finger in the direction of the rubble.
In front of the purple and black clad man a large flat piece of the pew rose out of the clutter and hovered in front of him. As it got the man's attention a message formed in a brief shower of wood shavings. It read: "Sorry about that"

The shadowy figure merely shook its head at the events that unfolded, she really did hate other mutants, almost as much as she hated humans. The figure watched as Daria talked to Emerald and her eyes widened slightly.
I knew you would come She smirked beneath her hood.
As the mutants waited for Daria to begin to speak with silent voices, the figure began to get out a small book, ready to take notes when needed.
"Look, I... I may not be an explorer, or an adventurer, or a treasure-seeker, or a gunfighter, Mr. O'Connell, but I am proud of what I am."
Geist was still flustered and perturbed from before. Meaning no dis-respect, he lashed out against the messege with a swift kick, feeling rather irritated about sitting around when "we should be doing something! What are we waiting for!?... Not to be rude, but the longer we wait who knows what could be happening to our comrades." >we're wasting time.... Jaya..< a mental image of his compatriot racing through his head as he leaned back in his spot.

Kaine left the shadow figure uneasily as Daria walked in and followed her to the top of the hall standing at the altar with wire and Daria.
Kaine drew out a joint from inside his cigarette packet pulling out his zippo he lit it and took a deep pull on the splif watching as it burnt down.
Kaine was very stressed and often did this when he was he stood at the front thinking if all these people were going to have to be transported some where it would be very awkward.
Kaine took another pull and looked down at the mutants in the hall it was amazingly full
Tristan smirked as Geist fell on his butt as the pew underneath him gave out. 'That was embrassassing for him. Coming in here all flustered and then falls on his arse,' Tristan thought as he turned his attention elsewhere.
Kilala cursed under her breath. After the man who had been speaking to she and Tristan fell out of the pew, she felt the tension beginning to rise already after the snickering. 'Great...this could really turn into a disaster,' she thought from up on stage.
She saw the embarassed man walk to the back of the church and lean against the wall in a huff. Not a moment later, a piece of the debris from the pew rose into the air and floated back to where the man in purple stood. Her eyes averted to the unknown man who Tristan and she were talking about moments before. 'He was the one fixing the pews.' Apparently he was the one who sent the bits of rubble to the back of the church, which in turn, got everyone's attention. 'Dammit. Is he starting trouble?' Just then, the man in purple kicked the debris and it shattered. Without hesitation, Kilala sent a forcefield to the back of the church where the shards of rubble shot forward into the frosty shield. The pieces slowed abruptly into the bubble and Kilala lowered it to the floor. A second later, the bubble disappated and the rocks and wood hit the floor. Her anger level was beginning to rise.
"We should be doing something! What are we waiting for!?... Not to be rude, but the longer we wait who knows what could be happening to our comrades," the man in purple yelled out.
"WELL IF YOU WOULD WAIT A MOMENT SO WE CAN EXPLAIN THE SITUATION, WE COULD GET THIS MEETING STARTED!" Kilala yelled to the back of the church. She sighed and stepped forward. "Look, I know everyone's upset, pissed off, scared, and whatever about what's happening. For right now, if we're gonna stop this and help save our friends, our kind, and our own asses, we need to cooperate." Kilala then stepped back into line with the rest of the residents of the mansion who had come, but kept a weary eye in case anyone else decided to start something.

"Yes if we can all just calm down and listen" Kaine bellowed his voice echoing offf of the walls again the demon shaped creature crossed the ceiling "Ok If we can all sit down and shut up this meeting will begin" Kaine said taking a pull of his joint
Kilala shot a look over at Kaine with a face of probably not the best thing to say. She quickly interjected. "Just please. Let's try and stay calm so we can get things going."

Kaine walked over to kilala " Hey hows it going I reckon thing should be allright now? So how are you I know you from the mansion dont I?" kaine said offering his splif to her
Kilala grimmaced as he offered the drug, putting her hand up. 'He really must be high if he doesn't remember me. Or maybe he's just high all the time' "Um...no thanks. And yes, I live at the mansion too. Last time I saw you, you were not yourself and we knocked you out at the museum in order to get the red stone. Glad to see you on our side again. Did the DocProf ever remove the green stone from your body?" She kept her voice at a whisper as the two stepped back to speak.
