The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Alex turned the corner in his beat-up Ford Taurus, heading up a winding road to the Xavier Sister School. He had heard about the institute for "those dur'n mutan' freaks" from listening to people in a bar about three blocks from his apartment and from on-line research. It wasn't that hard to find once he started to look, and he decided to go and check it out.
Alex had not gotten a chance to go to college or get any sort of formal education beyond 10th grade. He had had to drop out due to discrimination when his mutation was found out, and had studyed on his own. His part-time job at the bookstore had not required much more than a letter of recommendation from the only teacher who had really looked beyond his mutation, Mr. Thorin. Still, Alex wanted to gain some sort of real education, and figured that the institute might be able to help him out with that.
Alex turned another corner and stepped on the brakes. Just down the street, at where he would estimate the school to be, a bunch of people were running across the street, charging at the gates of the school, which he idly noted were a glittering gold. Several of the charging figures were obviously mutants, and as Alex watched, a figure flew over the rooftops and towards the school.
Alex pulled over and parked his car, riding onto the curb slightly. He had read about battles at the school, but hadn't really connected it. Who would go so far to attack a building that had children in it? Alex got out of his car and began walking down the street. He would try to find out what was going on, defending himself if necessary.
OOC/Zach is open for attack from either side, through misunderstanding or bloodlust.
X-Men poured out of the mansion like a bad leaky pipe. Every second it seemed more were showing up. It didn't matter though. Syn's rage and fury out weighed however many people Tricity could summon to her. She knew Isabel and the others loyal to her felt the same way. No one defaces Sanctuary and gets away with it. It was just that much sweeter when the doors were found on X-Men territory.
The self proclaimed 'Dark Queen' only heard the wind in her ears and hair as she bolted in a dead sprint right for her target...Tricity. Syn weaved her way past the X-weaklings who had taken up positions around Tricity. Had her mind've been processing any slower she would've amazed herself with her agility.
Things were happening fast though, and Syn yelled out as she wrapped her arms around Tricity and planted her right shoulder into the womans sternum driving her to the ground. This would definitely leave a sore reminder as Syn was unnaturally strong but when fueled by rage her power was very impressive. "HOW DARE YOU! There's no mistaking MY Sanctuary doors on your front lawn!" Syn's tone remained loud enough for those close by to hear but it became much more sinister sounding. "I should tear your head from your neck, and mount it on a pike as a warning to the rest of your precious X-Men not to cross paths with the Order."

Leila's heart started racing as she saw the action going on, the Mansion Gates being replaced by golden ones, they seemed a little familiar too. She had passed by a place with those gates just this morning, trying to get here. Was this where the Crow Man and the other invaders lived? Leila felt really out of place as she tried to solve the picture, not getting much information out from that X-Men who had now left to help out the others.
Leila listened now, trying to make out what Shawn, who had the apearance of a metal robot now, was saying from the other end of the Grounds. THen, Leila heard a woman ordering for everyone that wasn't part of the X-men to get inside. Leila however, had just spotted her Ice man. He seemed dangerous, with an Ice Armor covering his entire body. Leila didn't move, she didn't obey whoever was speaking.
Sure, she probably wouldn't of had, even if she knew this was the headmistress ordering them inside. Leila was hopeless, she could, no wait, she would put Sam in a lot of trouble if she stayed here. But Leila didn't care, instead she approached the actual battle, only to stop on her tracks when a Woman started running her way. Then, Leila realized she had made a mistake of staying here. She couldn't defend herself!
But the next thing she knew, Leila was in no harm at all, the strange woman had attacked the woman a few feet at Leila's left. Without further ado, Leila sprinted towards Sam. "Now please, you tell me what's up!" she ordered desprately. "What does this woman mean by her Sanctuary Doors?" she added, grabbing his ice cold arm, only to let go again, shivering. "Who's the Order?"

Raina narrowed her eyes as a woman she could only guess was the infamous "Syn" knocked Tricity to the ground with a blow that would be very painful. "Tricity!" she called. "Cover your ears woman!" and with that She let out a loud piercing note.
She wasn't aware of everything going on around her, and she wasn't sure why these people were attacking. She heard bits and pieces about The Order- and nothing was good. She could only imagine they were using her birthday as a way to attack everyone at once.
The note filled the air and hung there. It was already cold but now it was frigid. Little spidery frost laces covered Syn's shoes as Raina willed them with her voice. They veined down to the ground circling her in ice. Now if Syn made a quick movement she'd be likely to slip or at least have a hard time steadying herself. Raina could do much worse but she wanted to figure out what all this huff was about the doors.
"That stuff beneath your feet is a great conductor of electricty." she said to Syn through an ice breath. "I wouldn't try to hurt Tricity again." her eyes narrowed as she watched the woman for her next move.
The Order's leader never was subtle type especially when she was angry. For a second, Shade's mind drifted back to the night he had accidentally teleported into Syn's closest. He made sure he never did that again. However, he doubted that Syn, even with her intense strength, could take on the entire force of the X-men by herself. Although at the present time, it sure looked like it.
In order to lessen Syn's large task, Shade decided to take on a couple of his own. A tree provided the needed cover from the hated flood lights of the mansion grounds. He vanished instantly as his body entered the darken area. the next moment he was suspended in the air ten feet above the ground, just over the flood lights. A shower of black dagger sliced into the ground in front of several of X-men. Another shot between Syn's legs, shattering the ice. Shade landed a second later, rolling to cushion the impact. He stopped on a knee, another dagger held in between his fingers.
"Come now, children. No, interruptions while the adults are talking. Let's go play instead." Shade cooed, an evil grin plastered across his face.
(OOC: Hopefully, everyone nows that I know you aren't all children. It was meant as sarcasm.)

Streak heard Luke ask him for a staff again. He quickly formed it out of silver and handed it to Luke. "Don't loose it. I wont be able to make another one during the fight." Everything seemed to be moving quickly for Streak. He then turned to Raina who was close by him and said, "The order is attacking the mansion 'cause they think we stole their doors and put them up at our gate." It was a simple and short answer. Completely truthful and informative at the same time, if not perhaps a bit short. Glancing at Sam he saw that he was iced up, thickly, and ready for battle. Smiling Streak was anxious to get this started. He rushed forward onto the grounds to meet up with any mutant who dared come close enough to this school, his home, to demolish it.
He took after Sam's look and created, as best he could, silver armor and placed it on his body to protect himself better. During the battle Streak probably wouldn't have time to create a shield so he needed to make sure he was safe enough. The armor was light and durable, just like everything else he created, and covered his chest, back and arms. He was in the middle of the grounds by now and ready for something to happen. He spotted the man that Nika and himself had a brawl with not to long ago. That was the guy Streak was going after. He'd gotten away before they'd had a proper heart to heart about what he was doing in the mansion.
As Streak ran several dark knives appeared just in front of him. He stopped instantly and saw where the knives came from. The hooded figure. Streak formed a couple of knives of his own and headed towards the cloaked figure, moving as fast as he could. Once he was close enough he sent a round kick at the cloaked order members head. Hopefully that would get his attention.
(OOC: Wow, I feel so stupid, I'm really late. I hope my explanation why is good enough.... Also, I know Lisa is alive, but Hylonme doesn't)
Hylonme was furious. The natural instinct of a horse was to protect the herd at all costs, and the natural instinct of a human was to get revenge. That, combined with the fact that Hylonme wasn't the nicest person to start with, kept her running at a breakneck speed through the streets, just barely managing to keep the van in her sights as she leaped over cars and people on bicycles. She ran and ran and ran, and every time she turned a corner the van was a little farther away. It was just too fast. Finally, she lost sight of it going around the corner. Hylonme could do nothing but stand there, fuming with all of the rage she could muster, until a flicker of light caught her eye. It was the van, heading up a distant road towards a mansion. With a bellow of renewed anger, Hylonme sprinted up that direction, determined to make them pay for killing Lisa.
(Skipping to the mansion.)
Hylonme ran full tilt through the woods, dodging trees and ducking under branches while keeping the golden doors of the sanctuary in her sight. That was her target, and that was where she was going. So focused was Hylonme that she sped right past the group of the Order members without even noticing they were there. Her rage and adrenaline doubled, and the natural fight-or-flight response of all animals that was so extreme in horses was flooding her veins with energy. Finally she got to where she could see the mansion, and she noticed there were many people already hyped up there. A form seemed to appear from nowhere, and tackled one of the people to the ground. Hylonme reached the wall surrounding the mansion, and leaped, clearing the top with a few feet to spare.
She landed shooting, firing arrows into the throng of people, each one heading for a lethal spot on someone's body. She fired until her quiver was exhausted and her arm ached from pulling back the string, and then she put her bow on her back and charged into the crowd, rearing up with a bellow of pure beastial rage and coming down on the ground with enough force to break the spine of anyone that came under her hooves. She went by a tree and her chest hit a branch she didn't quite see in the dark. She got the wind knocked out of her, and the branch and a few of it's friends hit the ground. Suddenly, hit with an idea, Hylonme picked up two of the strong branches, one in each hand, and charged back into the fray, swinging down at people as she went.
Then she noticed someone who was a little off to the side of everyone else, a woman who seemed to be looking on in horror. As Hylonme charged forward, she let out a peircing note that made Hylonme want to cover her ears, and that made her rear up in surprise. When the note faded away, Hylonme resumed her charge, this time bent on taking out this foul-voiced woman. As she passed behind her at full sprint, Hylonme leaned to the side and struck out with both clubs.
Tricity went to the ground as Syn tackled her with immense strength. She felt the wind knocked from her and felt a swirl of light-headedness as she gripped the ground in pain. Her mouth opened to say something, but she still couldn't muster enough air before coughing harshly. A moment later, Raina's ear-piercing note sounded through the night just after Tricity covered her ears as commanded. Now there was no way of talking this through.
Ice formed around the ground and Tricity recoiled her hand from the frozen grass she had gripped again. She saw the ice forming around Syn's feet as she looked up at the furious woman. "Syn..." Tricity began whispering, but the sudden assault of darkened blades cut her off and she was sent scrambling back a few feet for safety.
Tricity rose from the ground unsteadily. The Order members were breaking out toward them all as she saw some of the X-Men charge forward to meet their adversaries head on. Again, Tricity rose her hands up toward Syn in a surrendering fashion, but this time releasing electricity that enveloped her entire body. If anyone touched her, a nice shock would send them backwards. "Syn," she began once more, but this time there was more volume to her voice despite the breaking and gasps. "We didn't... take the.. doors. There's been... a mistake..."
Before she could get a reaction from Syn, an arrow came flying within inches of her face, followed by more soon after. Tricity once again had to back up as what could only be described as a female centaur came bounding across the grounds. Syn sure picked up a lot more mutants than Tricity had realized. The X-Men were possibly outnumbered.

Nathan had been getting ready for the party when he received the call from Jonathan. After he had listened to the other man all he could say was "What?!" Thoughts raced through Nathan's mind as he started to think. Where was Ali? It doesn't matter. I just hope she's safe.
Nathan started to make his way out of his room when he stopped. If I can go angel form, then we would have a better chance. He stood there for about 15 seconds concentrating as hard as he could to start the transformation. And....nothing happenned. Some other time, perhaps.
Feeling slightly dissappointed, Nathan quickly left his room and headed for the entrance. As he arrived, Nathan saw Tricity on the ground with a strange woman looking over her with evil intent. Then some small, black daggers were thrown and landed near to wear the two were standing.
The source of those daggers was a very familiar mutant to Nathan. That mutant had helped rescue him from the camps. And now it seemed they were on oppositte sides of a battle. Nathan barely knew him anyway. Nathan didn't know him at all apparently.
Nathan flourished his hands at his sides while saying, "Flame on!" As he said this flames enveloped his hands all the way up to the middle of his forearm. The speech wasn't neccessary for his power to work. Nathan just wanted to be dramatic. "Alright then. Let's rock." And with that, Nathan threw a fireball at the face of the smirking shadow mutant.

Alex ran along the fenceline of the property, slowly as he neared the gates. The majority of the battles were taking place there, and it would be bad for his health to join in.
Alex glanced up at the big mansion which had orginally been his destination. He could probably get some answers there. He looked at the wall. Too tall for him to vault. He spotted a tree on this side of the fence that almost extended across the wall. He quickly scaled the low-lying branches and, once he cleared the wall, leaped into the air.
Alex came down in a sloppy roll that nonetheless limited the bruising of his body. Catching his breath, Alex stood up and began to jog towards teh mansion. He got about six paces before and arrow shot into his left shoulder, spinning him around. Lucky for him, it wasn't too deep. Alex gritted his teeth and turned to find his assailent. He spotted a horse-woman putting away a bow and stomping at several people. He didn't see any injuries, but his eyes were blurred from the pain. Alex hastily activated his mutant gift, letting the power surge in his nerves drive off the pain as best he could.
Alex stumbled forward as he saw the centauress grab a pair of branches and use them as clubs. Alex was just about to try and trip her up with his abilities, when a loud, cold note filled the air.
"What tha?" Alex turned to see a girl who appeared to be singing in the middle of the battle. Apparently, the centauress spotted her as well and took of towards her, raising her clubs to strike.
Alex decided that anyone that the horse-lady was against, he was for, and stuck out his right hand. Several small jets of lightning burned their way through his fingertips and shot out, jabbing into the branches the horse-lady was holding. He yanked back, pulling the clubs across the centauress' path. He then yanked off his glasses with his left hand, hissing as several jolts of pain pounded into his skull thanks to his wounded shoulder, and fired a beam of electro-telekinetic force at the centauress' front knee. That should stop her from running around.

'I can't stay here and get locked up in high security!' Luna thought as her eyes darted towards the way she came, not giving another thought she sped down the hallway away from the danger room intent on seeing the battle first hand! 'Maybe they'll think me as an asset for the X-men!' Came on of her outrageous thoughts as she smirked, skidding down a corner towards a flight of steps. " I can get a better advantage point on the roof!" She spoke hastily as her mind was driven forward to get into the fight somehow.
[Mansion Roof]
Now on the roof Luna could see the battle more clearly, her glass-like eyes widened in surprise, shock, and awe as she saw the older mutants of both sides fighting on another! It was like an all out brawl! Gulping a bit, The green haired Doll mistress began having second thoughts- however her childish mind went into "hero mode" as she narrowed her eyes taking a stray ribbon from her dress and ripping it into for pieces. Forming four teddy bears each a simple brown with black eyes and frowns on their faces. Not taking another thought Luna threw the first Teddy explosive from the roof' edge in hopes of distracting the order members. "Hey you jerks that are attacking my new home! I'm up here!" Luna yelled flailing her arms as she prepared to throw another one. "Take this idiots!" She yelled as she threw another one as it exploded at a random place. BOOM!
(Note: If someone wants to be hit or close to an explosion then you can react to Luna (hopefully) The explosions are landing at random so- I leave it up to your interpretation)
Pix Went air born with a nearly silent buzz of her wings as the action started. She covered her ears when the icy singer, hit that high note, and if horse girl hadn’t of gotten in the buggy girl’s way, the singer would have had something with many legs, and wings, stuffed in her mouth’s direction. Anything to stop that annoying racket. Same with the buzz that was echoing in her head that she could quite tell where it was coming from.
Then there were the explosions from… Teddy Bears? Little frowzy faced teddy bears of doomly Awesomness were raining down on them. Like Christmas with bang.
"Hey you jerks that are attacking my new home! I'm up here!"
“I spy with my little eye, a girl that is up past her bed time.” Petunia smile make her cheeks crease, as she spun to the right to avoid one of the falling doomly bears of awesomeness. Then like an arrow, Pix shot towards the roof where the girl was located.
As pix flew, a scorpion wiggled it’s way free from the skin on her palm, and she aimed to push the little girl back down, and use the scorpion to sting her. Harsh, even for pix, but fun.

Luna looked up shocked there was... a flying lady of doom?! Eyes widened Luna didn't even have time to move as Pix went to pin her down, the scorpion near Luna, She yelled in fright. No it wasn't the bugs, Luna liked bugs- squishing them were fun! and so was melting them in heat~ But having nature bite you in the ass was NOT something Luna was expecting anytime soon. "G-Get the HELL OFF ME LADY!" Growling Luna got a piece of fabric, the fabric began to glow slightly then bulge and distort until it began taking a three dimensional shape, it grew eyes and a form- it suddenly took the appearance of a stuffed toy- a teddy bear to be exact as she Luna held it to Pix's face threateningly. "Y-You try anything and we all go sky high!" Luna yelled as she glanced around before yelling. "SOMEONE HELP!" She cried panicked.
A vicious little grin broke out across Isabel's face as she continued her route toward the Mansion, almost laughing to see the X-Fools all lining up outside the main entrance. This was going to be like shooting fish in a barrel. Come, come, little X-Pigs. Be good little fools and line up for your slaughter. However, that smile, as well as her step, faltered for a brief moment as the grounds were suddenly flooded with light. Uh-oh. Someone was trying to impede the progress of her shadowy hooded friend. Blinking for just a second, she quickly regained her senses and continued on her path, momentarily losing focus on the X-Goodies and centering her attention on some of the floodlights. Once she'd managed to spot the strongest point of light where the bulbs were, she dislodged a few bones from her body at a decent rate of speed, aimed right for those lights in order to shatter them and help to give Shade a better field advantage. She wouldn't have gotten all of them, but even two or three would have been an improvement. The discarded bones were quickly replaced by a new set, as was Isabel's grin at the sight of Syn taking out the biggest X-Dork of them all. They never did seem to learn that there was no room for talk in a brawl like this. It didn't matter who had taken the doors, just that the doors had been taken in the first place. Th X-Dorks were just unfortunate enough to have had them delivered to their door, and as such they were now involved. Not that Isabel particularly minded the little doormats not being the perpetrators. Any excuse to rip a few of them apart was good enough for her. If they saw themselves as equals to humans, then she was going to treat them just like the humans they so desperately wanted to coexist with.
It didn't particularly matter which one of the X-Nerds was her playmate, either. They were all the same moving target to her in the end. The only plan she'd had was to barrel in and take on whoever was stupid enough to get in her way. It wasn't very difficult to keep her attention unfocused. Every few moments someone else was throwing out some sort of attack, efficiently dragging her focus from place to place on the field. However, rather than continuing to charge as she'd planned, she instead skidded to a stop just a short distance away from where everyone began to clash. She was still furious, but she was making an extreme effort not to take off once again and attack aimlessly. If she did that, she knew she'd end up slashing at everyone in sight and could risk hurting one of her own. The instinct to protect those in the Order was the feeling she latched onto and used to keep herself in place for the time being. The icy screech of the unknown woman in the crowd did cause her to wince, but since she'd spent so much time with the Sonic Sisters, high pitched noises had rapidly fallen into normalcy, and as such she was able to push down any stronger reaction to a scream of such frequency. The arrows she managed to avoid, though a few did rush past a little too closely for her liking. She assumed it was the young Centaur woman from earlier in the day, seeing as she'd spotted the quiver and bow on her back during the brief chase. It was pleasing to see that word of the battle had reached her somehow, only ensuring that the Order's numbers were larger than before. She could see people begin moving, watching the X-Dweebs start to mill about in order to avoid the attacks from the opposing side. It was tempting to go after a few of them, but the sudden realization of something prevented her from doing so.
There had been a particular target she'd been interested in. This target had been standing outside the Mansion door just the shortest distance away from the X-Losers when she'd arrived. She could tell he wasn't one of them by the clothes he wore. Initially she'd wanted to rip the metal mutant apart, but he had been forgotten in her blinding moment of rage when she'd set her sights on the X-Twerps. However, there had been one other culprit in the theft, the one she'd not seen until she'd arrived at the Mansion. Now she knew that the driver of the van looked like. She wanted to repay him for the little prank he'd pulled. For the briefest of fortunate moments, the little crow mutant had been largely forgotten once the attention of both sides had shifted to focus on their enemies. However, this gutsy little mutant had now slid to the forefront of a murderous young woman's mind and was now labeled as her next playmate. It took a few moments of scanning the field before she'd managed to spot him among the other moving bodies. Mercifully, a person covered in feathers and sporting a beak was fairly easy to locate. Determinedly altering her course, she set off in the direction of the beady-eyed door thief, her grin widening at the prospect of drawing blood for the first time this evening. Hurriedly she pushed herself into a reckless, full speed charge, her sword ready at her disposal, but her claw-like weapons being her choice in this particular attack. She wanted to wrap her hands around his scrawny little neck and shake him like a rag doll. Bending slightly at the waist, she lowered the top half of her body a little, doing as her Leader had done and planning to slam a dangerously spiked shoulder into the crow mutant's midsection, hopefully not only knocking him over and leaving him vulnerable for a few seconds, but also causing a good amount of damage in the process. Fly, fly, little bird. If you're able.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
