The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It had been nothing short of agonizing for Isabel to have to return the the Sanctuary and stay put while the situation was relayed and Syn gave responding orders. She wanted action, not more talk. Sure, there was certainly logic in having a plan, but Isabel had never really been one to like planning or to follow the most logical routes. She tended to stab first and ask questions later, assuming that the one who'd been stabbed was still able to answer questions. Needless to say she'd taken off immediately once they'd been given the go-ahead. She hadn't even bothered to wait around for the others to see if they were taking their own modes of transportation or if they were all piling into one vehicle and making their way to the Mansion. She'd gathered up the bike she'd borrowed during the initial chase, pleased to see it was no more damaged than just a few scratches in the chrome and paint. It would still get her to the X-Fool's domain with time to spare. Though, even at her breakneck rate of speed, she was still preceded by two other members of the Order. Shade's arrival was to be expected, since he'd been sent ahead, though Geo's presence was a bit more of a surprise. He hadn't even been involved in the chase or the meeting that followed. It was always possible that he'd just stumbled upon the scene, or perhaps Syn had managed to get ahold of him via cell phone. Either way, she was pleased to see him there. The more members they had with them, the more destruction they could cause. And after their little stunt, not only with stealing the doors, but with attempting to do some serious damage to Shade, Isabel was more than ready to rip out a few X-Nerd throats.
Once again she left the bike to find its own resting place a short ways off from the Mansion, hoofing it the rest of the way to meet up with those that had already arrived. However, once her sights fell on the now erect golden doors, she faltered to a stop, not quite having reached her comrades and not caring if she was in plain sight of not. She didn't have to hear the message from Syn to know what was going on. She could see it herself. And it pissed her off. How dare they? How dare they?! She positively bristled at the sight of her beautiful golden doors being placed in such a horrible position at the X-Loser's property. It was downright blasphemy. She barely paid any attention to those that arrived after her, Syn included. And the invisible prodding from the Pheromones was unnecessary, Isabel's temper already soaring on its own. She was more than bristling. She was positively murderous. In seconds her armor was formed and reinforced, dangerously sharp and barbed spikes sprouting out of her body one after the other, as if daring someone to even try to touch her. From one hand grew her favored bone sword, more barbed spikes winding their way from base to tip, creating a kind of twisted drill in her palm. From the other hand, she created five claw-like bones emerging from her fingertips, positively itching to wrap themselves around some fool's heart and squeeze the life out of it. Only the very briefest of moment passed before Isabel registered Syn's figure heading toward the X-Dweeb's Leader, the others surely soon to follow. It took even less time for her to fall into step behind the Dark Girl, charging straight for whoever was foolish enough to meet her.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
Okay, kids, taken care of. Garrett walked back toward the front of the house and the ensuing battle. He didn't run. He was genuinely nervous. What was he supposed to do against a robot? Streak, Sam, even Luke could do something about it. It just wasn't in the realm of Garrett's abilities though. What could he do? The Mansion was going to be torn down again. It was ridiculous. He could feel the veins in his temples throbbing under the pressure.
He looked out the window to see several people out ion the front now who looked poised for battle. The scene was about to explode. Running out there now would be the quick route to the Infirmary and he had already spent all the time there he was going to. An idea did pop into his mind. It seemed a bit petty and trite, but this whole scenario seemed to fit that description, so why not? He made his way to the kitchen and found the sharpest knife he could find in a rush.
Garrett crept out of the back door of the kitchen, making his way to the side gate wherte the trash was taken. He unlocked it and peeked outside. No one here but cars. He closed the gate behind him and stayed low, moving between the vehicles of both partygoers and whoever these other people were. He knew the majority of the vehicles of his friends and the guests, having spent much time wandering outside and seeing people pull up.
Finding the first foreign vehicle, a motorcycle, Garrett chuckled to himself quietly. The commotion out front was already stewing, so he started knifing the tires immediately. The motorcycle and the black van that brought all of this fun to bear hissed in anger at him as tires deflated. Standing in a moment of petty triumph, he saw something in the yard that hadn't registered before. Perhaps it was the dark of night or the distance, but he could clearly see the red and black striped hair of one Aelly Ssyn, the girl that Crystal had shown him long ago in Central Park with Iris. No more searching. Garrett smiled.
An ATV moved across the pasture trails under the rising moon. It moved slower than it normally would have, had it not been laden down with multiple cases. It slowed as it reached the sparse woods near the wall of the school's perimeter, albeit the corner farthest from the front and the driveway. Roland opened one of the cases, the assembly of devices quick and hassle-free, as the pieces needed appeared and were fitted quicker than the fastest human could do so.
First, a bolt gun fired into the wall, attaching a hunter's tree stand to the exterior of the wall, about halfway up. Roland climbed up and had a look around. All quiet, though some commotion could be heard near the gates. Binoculars appeared in his hand and he saw what appeared to be the mutant form of a street rumble forming in the front yard of the Mansion. He was glad he had chosen to come early. He crouched and left room on the stand for the next two cases, which promptly moved themselves from the small vehicle.
The first case contained a .50 caliber rifle. These things would break a man's shoulder if fired improperly, hence the next two bolts being fired into the top of the wall, securing the cannon's stand to it. That was the backup. The main weapon of choice was a professional quality video camera, which also got its own stand, right next to the .50. Roland checked the lighting and set the camera accordingly, attaching a laser microphone to it, running the wires to a recording/power array on the ATV.
He hopped down and got the camera rolling, opening the last case, which he had saved for last. " The piece d' resistance." He was now quite happy that he had recording capabilities in the HUD display of his suit. He always left the camera rolling, usually to study techniques of opponents later to find their weaknesses. This new suit was quite the duplicate, however. Only the owner would know that it wasn't the real thing. He slipped the suit on, sliding the spandex type material over his body, ensuring that the duplicates of the batons and staff were fitted where they were supposed to be.
Roland got back in the seat, checking the feed on the camera and clicking the safety off on the .50. He wasn't sure of the bonus potential in recording this royal rumble of mutations, but he suspected it would be more than enough. Not to mention the free access to what would otherwise be a pay per view event. He wondered if anyone at the Mansion knew of the masked avenger that he was dressed as. Maybe the real one would show up, demanding his originality back. Roland snickered as he watched from lens to lens.

Bacchus was late to the party and could tell that the festivities already started. “Just my luck.” said Bacchus to his new co-captain that was the former owner of the Pontiac G6 who had a bone impaled in his head. “Eddy I am talking to you.” Bacchus sighed as he pulled up near the other cars on the opposite side of the street. Bacchus got out of the car and breathed in the fresh air just before setting off. For the Golden doors Isabel requested for him to retrieve. Bacchus never before had seen so much passion in a woman before he absolutely loved it! She could have asked for anything but the doors were the number one priority.
Bacchus was about to slam the door shut when he looked in the car, “Eddy, I be right back, I left the radio but the keys are with me, can’t be wasting gas can we?” Bacchus pulled off his leather jacket and put it into the car, ‘no need to get my new jacket covered in this bit of chaos is there’ thought Bacchus as he slammed the door shut and locked the door with a resounding beep. Bacchus could hear the festivities and started to whistle like he didn’t have a care in the world. Bacchus looked over to the other cars to see who was here and shrugged he only needed the van to hold the doors that was it.
Noticing a fancy sign on the wall Bacchus read it and then sighed, “Why the hell would they bring the doors to this place? Just asking for trouble.” Muttered Bacchus as hi mood changed from ‘hey I am going to have fun’ to ‘Why the hell am I at a school’ Bacchus continued to walk to the main gates, “Don’t care how much they feed me or pay me, no way I am tearing down a school for kids like me… that's just messed up…” grumbled Bacchus as he scratched his head, “Just gonna get those big gold doors to the van, not really in the mood to kill anyone tonight especially at a school.” Bacchus pulled out a stick of winter fresh gum and put it in his mouth and started to chew it while griping all the way to the main gates.
Bacchus approached the main gate of the sister school for gifted youngsters and smiled seeing the doors right off the bat, “Ah see you found the doors for me fella, thanks for holding them for me, I can take them now if you would be so kind to hand them over?” Bacchus smiled as he increased the density of his skin as he was talking to something that looked like a robot fro one of those old science fiction movies. Bacchus smiled and waited for a response.

Shade recognized the driver of the vehicle before the rock mutant ever stepped out of the car. The shadow dweller was too busy listening to Syn's instruction filled with malicous to answer Geo's first question. However, the rock boy didn't seem to be a stupid as the things he turned into, because he managed to follow Shade's gaze and figure out the situation for himself. When Syn finished, Shade snapped his phone shut and slid it back into his left jean pocket where it usually lay before turning to reply to Geo's second question.
"Yes, those would be them. Don't worry. Syn's bringing the whole place out here to get them back. Those X-men will soon know the price of their actions. Come on, lets get ready before the party starts." With that Shade moved further into the alley until he came upon a dark duffle bag. Unzipping the bag to reveal its contains, the night warrior quickly donned his battle gear. The last piece was a realitively new black cloak since his last one had been left last time the shadow jumper had paid the X-men a visit. A evil smile curled onto Shade's lips as his mind traveled back to the events. He was sure some of the residents still remembered him.
(Jumping to attack scene.)
Shade watched carefully from the alley for the approach of the other residents of the Sanctuary. As the caravan of mutants came into view, the now cloaked mutant turned to Geo.
"I'll see you on the battle field." He said with an evil smirk. Moving into a darker shadow, Shade's plan was while the main group was attacking head-on, he would sneak around the side and surprise them from behind. However, as Shade got ready to port, the all the lights of the mansion grounds suddenly blazed to life.
"Well there goes that plan." Shade whispered under his breathe. Shrugging his shoulders, he did a quick jump and joined the main group as they continued their march on the mansion. Instantly, Shade felt a rage flow through him that he had never felt before. Sure, the doors were sacred, but this feeling of sheer hatred: was it really necessary? Shrugging his shoulders, the dark knight cracked an evil smile as they neared the grounds of the mansion and the massive battle that was sure to occur.

Leila rushed through the crowd of scared and agitated Mutants, trying to find Sam; who she had lost sight of a few seconds after she had exited the Living Room. This was turning out to be a bad idea, she knew that. What was happening outside anyway? She could hear some screams, some orders being sent from every direction; she could even hear some loud crashing noises as if the building was being distroyed. Definately not a good idea for a helpless woman to go out there.
But Leila couldn't be rational right now, she couldn't really think straight, knowing her friend, the people she'd soon be friends with, and her new home was in danger, Leila did the unthinkable. She started running at her fasted speed towards where the action was taking place, hopefully she wouldn't put to many people in danger, not really able to use her Abilities to fight, and not knowing a single fighting move to defend herself.
Hopefully Sam wouldn't put himself in too much danger to save her. "What's going on?" she breathed to someone she had seen at the Party, so she knew she wasn't speaking to the enemy.
ooc - sorry for the late-ass reply my internet went haywire. er its gonna leap through time a tad coz a lots happened...
ic - Slade chuckled to himself as his peripheral vision caught Chimaera baffling the 'fantastic poor' outside the mansion. He shook his head and dove back into the job at hand, as long as the doors were up that was all that mattered. The music was flaring from his speakers and he drilled and refitted the hinges to the second part of the gate in time to the beat. This was taking too much time but Slade knew Chimaera had his back, the mansion members were too distracted by the irritating crow to think hard enough to handle Slade, but that wasn't the problem. He had a nasty feeling the order would catch up soon. The tape flicked through a song while he furiously worked, the hinges were set and the final hurdle of planting the second door was all that was left. Just as the unknown voice behind him thanked Slade for taking care of the golden doors Slade clicked the last bolt into place. Talk about getting the job done by the skin of one's teeth!
The tape flicked over to its final song, 'police on my back' by lethal bizzle. It seemed suitably relevant to the current situation, a man was behind him after all... slade turned and slowly transformed his right hand into the shielded auto pistol he was so accustomed to blatting interfering lackeys with. As he settled, facing the man his auto pistol clicked ominously into place, the silver tear-shaped shield slipping into its smooth shape around his wrist. The inference was clear, Slade wasn't going to let the order take back the gates before the x-fools had a chance to duke it out with them.
Crackling through the hip-hop beats of the almighty bizzle Slade's response was short, and to the point. "I'm sorry, but these doors aren't ready to go home yet. The birthday girl hasn't had a chance to see her little present yet." He glanced at Chimaera, while the little crow was in the middle of the now angry x-mob, Slade felt the now obvious presence of an angrier order mob would save Chimaera's feathers. All Slade had to do here was keep the doors in place just long enough for the x-fools to start defending their precious school from the order. It was almost game, set and match... Slade just needed these well placed sparks to ignite into the chaos he and Chimaera had planned for.
The feather covered delivery man kept bumbling along and eventually turned from them to get his partner and take off. Tricity turned to Streak and listened as he explained what this was all about. "...I don't know why Syn sounds familiar but..."
"SYN?!?!" Tricity interrupted, as Streak continued on. She was barely listening as her eyes immediately turned to the mansion grounds, expecting the inevitable. That's where the doors are from. The Sanctuary. 'What the hell is she doing now?' Her attention tuned up once more when she heard Streak mention a group of Order members flooding onto the property.
Her head shot around to the main doors where the group of residents had gathered. "GET EVERYONE INSIDE NOW! ALL X-MEN AND TRAINEES ARE TO BE OUT HERE IMMEDIATELY!!" Tricity pulled in the electricity from the source of the flood lights, causing them to flicker for just a moment.
Great. Another attack on the mansion. 'What is Syn's issue? And what the hell are the doors about?' Here they came. A... lot... Their figures came out of the dark as they stepped onto the grounds where the floodlights finally showed their positions. Tricity could hear the footsteps of her team as they rushed across the field to Streak and herself.
The intruders stalked on. She recognized a few of them, trying to rememeber their mutations. Some she remembered from their ordeal at the camp... 'Where is she?' Tricity knew she would be coming for her...
She turned and saw her team was almost to her and Streak. The mansion doors were closed and Johnathon had better have gotten everyone in the War Room, locked up and safe. Tricity faced her enemies again and there she was. "Syn...," she whispered. The vicious woman was only a few feet from her now. Tricity put her hands up in a surrender fashion. "Just listen a minute. What's going on? Why are you here and what's with the doors?" She scanned for some sort of reasoning in the woman's eyes, but Tricity knew this fight was inevitable. Syn just continued on with an unwavering determination. "Look, I don't want to fight, Syn. There's obviously some sort of misunderstanding..." but Tricity couldn't finish as Syn unleashed her first attack.

Raina had been a good little hostess and stayed inside at her party the whole time- that was until the electricity had flickered. By then the curiosity had gotten the best of her. What was going on out there? Well, she was about to find out.
Running down to meet the others- in her high heeled shoes and party dress none-the-less, she recognized her brother in the thick of it all and rolled her eyes. When she got there and stood behind Tricity with streak there wasn't much to laugh about anymore. The mood was incredibly tense and she had that sinking feeling that usually meant Flloyd was around but he was nowhere to be seen having stayed inside at the party. "I'm Raina." she spoke up hearing her name being tossed around. She stuck close to Streak. "Have we figured out is going on?"
she didn't get an answer as a group of people came out of the shadows and lunged for the group.
The second that Pix had left the side of Syn, she took her bogs with her. So that they wouldn’t go crazy the second they were out of Pix’ control range. 40 feet up, Pix had abandoned her bugs, where they hovered and it had looked like the bug manipulator had disappeared. Her PJs had been left to fall on the ground, but Pix had just shifted her a tiny dragon fly, to a house fly, darting left and right, as she climbed.
High above the scene, Pix looked through multiple eyes, at the mansion ground. The people coming out, and she scanned the other parts of the building, that she could see. With that, Pix darted back down. Turning human, just as she gathered the rest of her bugs, and landed lightly right next to the marching Syn. Since she was now without her PJs she now had a sort of dancer’s outfit on. Artfully swirled with the different colors of moth wings that covered her skin, and keeping Pix as modest as she could be.
“There was slight movement in the shadows from what looked like the back of the school.” Pix nodded in the direction. “A possible sneak attack.” Pix reported. “I don’t know for sure. Hard to tell when you’re looking through so many eyes.”

The cool breeze moved through the air and any other time, any other place, Luke would have been enjoying the beauty of the night quite possibly with a woman of equal beauty but this was not any other night.
This was the mansion...
This was Raina's birthday party...
"Any chance I can borrow that staff again?" Luke murmured to his silver team mate as he moved to stand near Tricity and Streak. Sweeping the field of battle with his sonar the blind man began to map out everything in his head.
There were a lot of individuals on the opposing side... plenty to go around in fact but the worst part for Luke was not really knowing what powers each person could wield. A battle against other mutants was deffinately not his strong suit but he would give it his best. After all, he was part of a team now.
Everyone had heard about Raina's birthday party. Most had already gone there. Nika however, had been practicing her fighting skills in the Danger Room. It was her light workout day, but when an alarm sounded Nika knew it wasn't part of her routine.
Immediately Nika exited the room and bolted through the mansion. Her eyes were met with people being swiftly ushered into safer areas. Nika didn't have to say a word when a passing teacher informed the cat girl that Tricity had called all X-Men and trainees outside. A quick look out the front windows revealed the situation.
Deciding not to crowd the front door like everyone else Nika went upstairs and climbed out her window. She then made her way to the top of the mansion roof were she could survey the area better. Here feline eyes spotted the shadowy figure Streak and herself had chased off the mansion grounds just weeks before. Remaining low she crawled to a vantage point she could launch herself from if needed.

(OOC: playing catch up) (IC)
After exiting the mansion and meeting up with Streak and Luke Sam followed them to meet a giant walking crow. Who happened to be asking for Raina. Sam wasn’t to big on the idea of talking to someone that just happened to be ripping the gates down and replacing them with big golden doors. Sam liked the old gates better. Lots of talking, Sam liked talking but only when the time was right… this time wasn’t one of those times.
"Excuse me, what is all this?"
Sam smiled as the headmistress showed, ‘now things will get settled!’ thought Sam as he looked around to see what was happening next. Sam stood stationary as Streak went to fill her in on the happenings as far as he knew. Sam just tapped his foot impatiently waiting for orders from Tricity.
"GET EVERYONE INSIDE NOW! ALL X-MEN AND TRAINEES ARE TO BE OUT HERE IMMEDIATELY!!"
Sam’s ears twitched slightly under his thin layer of ice armor as he did what he was asked. Sam made his way over to Streak, Tricity and Luke who he only met once before. Sam smiled as he saw one of the obvious mutants approaching something white coming from her hands. Sam grinned as he upped his armor a bit making it thicker and more gruesome before. Spikes of ice now formed along the elbows knees and shoulders. Sam was ready for a brawl. The air around Sam seemed to cool as the grass around him started to cover in ice a fact that Sam wasn’t fully aware of considering all of the things that seemed to be happening.
“Looks like fun…now all I need is a dancing partner!” laughed Sam as he looked for some one other than a girl. Sam would have trouble going all out on a girl something that some would call a weakness.

Ali's comm link went off and Jonathan's voice came across in shouts. Her first reaction was to cover the thing to muffle the sound. Then during a pause she let go and replied.
"Ok, this time don't shout. What's going on?"
"There's big trouble at the mansion. Tricity has called for all X-Men and trainees to assemble"
Tricity calling for everyone? This was either another meeting, or something drastically serious was happening.
"Alright, I'm on my way."
So much for having a normal day. She had hoped to see Nathan later on, but now she would probably see him at the mansion.
Ali flew up into the sky using jets of heat and soared towards the mansion. When she got close enough she could see a bunch of people gathered out front of the mansion illuminated by the lights. Then more figures appeared as they stepped into the lit up area. The second set of figures was charging at those standing in front of the mansion. Ali thought to herself.
Geo listened to Shade's quick explanation, so the X'ys stole the gates from the santuary. They were just asking for a fight now. He walked over to his bike as Shade also went to prepare for battle. He removed his leather jacket and kicked off his boots and socks. The ground gave a slight quiver as his skin touched. It had been a while since he had used his powers, a week at least.
He transformed his Arms and Legs to their rock form, giving Geo a significant increase in height and armlength, and after a qucik farwell to Shade got ready to battle. He focused on the ground under his feet and made a piller of rock shoot out of the ground and launch him into the air 'Spring Heeled Geo' he joked to himself and he full through the air and slammed into the ground halfway to the mansion as the lights turned on revealing a small shockwave in the ground where he had landed. "I'M BACK!" He shouted as he heard the residents begin to rush in realization of what was happeneing. He slammed his rock hands together as he charged at the group that had formed at the front door.
