The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Tricity gave an exasperated smirk at Streak with a raised eyebrow and nodded in agreement with Raven. The fireball flew through the Square and hit the sentinel square in the chest. Its head rotated around, taking its focus from the civilians, and locking on to Raven and the other mutants. She could hear the sounds of the data it was receiving as it read Raven's mutation. Tricity half turned her head to see the sentinel behind them was about a city block away.
"Well... Let's all not stand in one spot, eh?" She said, hearing the sentinel with the blackened chest charging for an attack. "Break up and head toward the one in front of us," she instructed as the red laser in the sentinel's eyes began to form for the attack. Tricity conjured one of her electrical orbs and sent the swirling, blue mass of energy at the robot's head. It connected, causing the thing to stumble backward a few steps and release the laser into a nearby building with a small explosion. The glass from the windows and pieces of the structure rained down into the streets. "Shall we?"
Tricity broke out into a run toward the front sentinel, looking back once to see the far sentinel wasn't far from their current location. Her attention went back to the first titan as it locked onto her. She could hear the machine revving for another attack. Its chest opened awkwardly due to Raven's first attack and it fired a small missle toward her. Tricity jumped on one of the many cars throughout the Square and slid across the hood, dodging the missile that sent the car into a massive fireball. She continued down the street, hearing her teammates close behind her.
Hearing Tricity's commands Nika gave a nod and went into action. The sight of the over sized robots was a pretty easy thing to focus on in order for Nika to induce her supercharged adrenaline. Pausing for a brief moment to allow the full effects to occur Nika looked for a good place to attack from. Not having a ranged attack kind of limited her but with the giant robot being soo big maybe she could get in close more easily.
Now that she was completely charged up Nika leapt up on top of one of the street lights. From there she jumped up to a nearby building. Diging her claws into the brick wall Nika climbed up to the top of the building. This put her in jumping distance to the Sentinel. When the mechanical monster began attacking the others Nika leapt up to the side of the robot's head. From there the super powered cat girl began punching and clawing into the armor hoping to make a hole so she could get to more vital internal systems.
It took longer than it should have to break out of the cold and icy cocoon, but for the most part Ghost wasn't complaining. Because getting netted and then shelled inside of ice was infinitely better than going up in flames. Honestly, what took so long wasn't the ice. Sam took care of that as soon as the roaring fire sound died and Ghost started wriggling in protest of their small, confined space. It was the net.
Stupid net. Tricity and the gang all moved on to something ... more Sentinally. Ghost 'eep'ed when the setting changed around them because they were perilously close to a flaming car. She hoped that was just for effect, but when the tongues of fire bent toward them and licked closer it was pretty much panic worthy. CS finally had to form an ice blade in order to free them. Why didn't she ghost out? Because she wasn't sure what would happen if she lit on fire while incorporeal.
Once free Ghost was running. Where was she running? Straight toward a large robot. Oh but the large robot was a better fate than fire. Oh, except that it shot a missile toward Tricity. Ghost back pedaled some and gasped a bit out of breath from catching up. The missle wizzed past their team leader and into a car. Well, that was one thing she could do-- Ghost set about cutting off the oxygen flow to the mass of fires all around the Danger Room. In a matter of minutes she could have them all doused as long as the Sentinels didn't make too many more.

Frowning slightly as the orbed of ice that surrounded them cracked and then shattered into little bits of ice Sam was still wrapped around ghost as the net held them tight. “Noticing that everyone was already looking at the new challenge Sam said sarcastically, “No, don’t anyone come to help I got this.” Forming a blade of ice around his fingers Sam cut the net and then got off of ghost and watched her run off to the others.
Now standing and looking at the new challenge Sam smiled he knew how to take care of these. At least he thought he did. It was just like a normal robot right? All robots had joints and gears and cogs that were metal and the cool thing about metal is when it freezes and then tries to continue to perform its normal functions it shatters or breaks. In Sam’s opinion metal is easier to freeze and break than humans and mutants. There is that few second to a minute where the body heat resists the change in temperature before it freezes.
Covering his body in a thicker ice now that he wasn’t wrapped around Ghost Sam started to run towards the giant robots with a plan already beginning to go into motion. Throwing ice under his feet to pick up speed Sam watched as he closed in to Tricity who dodged a missile rather gracefully. He then looked up and saw Nika jump from lamppost to building then to sentinel.
‘Damn she is fast’ thought Sam as he looked down from Nika to focus on his target. Now feet away from the sentinel Sam’s hand started to glow a bright blue as a ball formed around his hand. Sam picked up his speed and lowered his right hand, which was now giving off cold air currents that turned into ice crystals as they hit the ground under them. Sam looked up away from his target and yelled to Nika, “NIKA MOVE!!”
Brining up his right hand where a good chunk of his power was focused Sam jumped and punched right into the robotic titans leg. ‘-320 degrees’ thought Sam as he pushed his fist into the robotic leg further. Concentrating more Sam let out a loud yell as the coldness that was built up in his hand was released with a sudden pulse threw out the Sentinel’s body.
Sam could hear the gears in the giant beast begin to give way and crack as it’s motions halted. The robotic monster stood frozen from the inside. The outer shell was still intact except for the hole in its leg where Sam’s right hand stayed stuck.
“Way easier on smaller ones,“ said Sam gasping from the sudden release in his power. Frowning Sam tried to pull his hand out from the robots leg with no luck. Bracing his feet against the robots leg and still no luck. “This is embarrassing,” said Sam still trying to pull his right hand out of the leg. Sam was completely oblivious to the oncoming red beams that were coming from the giant Sentinels.
Tricity came to a halt at the feet of the sentinel, hearing another wave of humans screaming in a panic down the street. Her head snapped up to see Nika sailing from the building and landing perfectly on the robot. She viciously attacked the sentinel, attempting to rip the thing apart.
The second sentinel was close behind them and Tricity nodded toward Ghost to watch her back as the Trainee attempted to douse the fires. Suddenly, Steel was flying past her giving Tricity a cold shudder. The young mutant leaped into the air and punched the sentinel in the leg. She could see the ice begin to cover the titan's body, making it stiffen where it stood. A few sparks shot out from its joints making Tricity grin. "Nice," she whispered to herself.
The second sentinel was now upon them and it swung down at Ghost and herself. Tricity quickly dodged out of the way and behind a car. "Ghost?!" She heard the machine powering up for a laser attack. "Shit..." She threw herself flat to the ground and rolled underneath the car, scurrying away from the attack. A moment later, a loud explosion from behind her indicated the vehicle was now destroyed as she turned to face the robot and scan the street for Ghost.
Tricity pulled a surge from another car and immediately formed an electrical current in her hand which swirled and sparked. She was about to take aim when she heard the sentinel from behind begin to power up. Her head snapped around and she could see Steel was trapped. "Sam!!" It seemed the robot that had just tried to zap her was scanning the area for Ghost and hadn't turned to see Tricity yet.
She broke out into a run, hoping Ghost and the others would be able to handle the second sentinel for the time. As she ran, she pulled more of a surge inside her until enough energy was swirling inside her to levitate at a faster pace. Tricity only had seconds in this margin if she was going to get Steel safe. She also hoped Nika could hang on for the ride that this sentinel was about to give if the catgirl had climbed back on. Tricity released the power within her body, sending the electricity outward and propelling her forward. The surges broke the glass of a Footlocker storefront on one side of the street and then fried a car on the other side, making the alarm sound continously. She wouldn't have been able to touch anyone with that kind of electricity inside her.
The sentinel locked onto Sam. Tricity slammed into Steel, wrapping her arms around him simultaneously and releasing him from the sentinel's leg the hard way. They sailed through the air and rolled across the street as the robot fired its laser. It scorched the road feet from where they landed. "Ugh..." Tricity groaned, trying to focus and see if Sam as well as Nika were okay. She unsteadily got to her knees and attempted to stand.
The sentinel punched the ground where Ghost and Tricity had been standing and when it pulled back its mighty metal fist, it almost seemed confused. No one had been squished. Tricity had dove away and so it locked on to her with a laser, but curiously enough Ghost was no where to be seen.
Incorporeal-ness was easy and fast to achieve when Ghost was scared. That sharp intake of breath that spoke of sheer terror was exactly what she needed to make the switch from solid to less than substantial. And once she had ghosted, the safest place seemed to be behind all that metal armor.
She wasn't exactly sure where Tricity had gone, but Ghost slipped between the cracks in the behemoth's armor and settled in for a hopefully safe ride. She heard a car explode and was glad to be far enough from the flames.
It was about this time that the Sentinel seemed to sense the mutant hiding in his circuitry. He didn't seem the overtly smart kind of robot, however, as his big metal fist was next flying at his own chest. It seemed he was willing to damage himself in order to get the ghost out of the machine.

Streak was stopped by Ali's firewall in front of him. Nice trick. he thought. Then there was a fireball sent at the robots chest. It made a dark patch in his chest but it didn't seem to do much else. Sam apparently had another option and so did Nika. Apparently Nika's idea was bashing its head while Sam's plan was freezing it. He liked the ideas they had; however he didn't understand why Ali had stopped him but no one else. He was just trying to get people moving.
Tricity seemed to try to save ghost. He couldn't see ghost after the sentinel punched the ground where Her and Tricity had been only moments ago. "Ghost?" Streak said looking around. He then noticed the second robot started bashing its own chest in. The first robot seemed to still be moving. However, there was already a few people attacking that first sentinel. Streak turned around for his current path and flew at the second robot while it was busy bashing in its chest. As Streak flew towards the robot he formed a sword and headed towards its head. The robot was so involved in bashing its chest in it didn't notice the silver man arriving at it's head and starting to cut it open. He was slicing deeply into the sentinel's head. It's bashing started slowing as it noticed that Streak was slicing into its head.
The sentinel then started swatting at his head and his chest as he was now dealing with two mutants instead of just Ghost inside him. Streak easily avoided any of the sentinels shots because, beating on its chest had slowed it down considerably and damaged its systems. The silver man seemed to be doing quite a bit of damage by himself. Since Streak had started he had made quite a hole in its head and Streak could already see parts of its gears and wires grinding away to make it move. Streak was just about to deal the machine stopping blow when the sentinels fist cam out of nowhere and knocked him off its shoulder. Streak fell far and landed hard on the concrete with a resounding thud. "Oh. That smarts." Said the silver man as he slowly peeled himself off the Time Square pavement.

Nathan thought it was a good idea for him to help with crowd control since he didn't have his wings at the moment and Ghost was there as well. And he was sure that she liked being not incinerated by fire.
As people began to appear, Nathan wondered where to send them but as the team worked together and took down one of the sentinels, he sent the crowds in the direction of the fallen robot since it wasn't going to harm anyone.
The whole thing grew very routine to Nathan as he kept on pointing and giving hand motions while saying, "Everyone needs to go this way. Please remain calm. We need everyone to please keep going this way for your own safety." It kind of bummed him that he wasn't fighting the sentinals but if this was what he needed to do to help out the team then he was going to do his best at it.
