The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Times Square during the day didn't offer quite the same experience as did the night scene. But the Twins weren't there to sight-see. They were there for Cailyn to sight-see.
Not more than an hour earlier the new Sanctuary resident had confessed to never having been shopping, and claimed to not know what money was. To the Sonic Sisters, that was more than a shame; it was an heart-wrenching tragedy. One that needed immediate correction.
So late morning found them strolling through the crowds, a novice Cailyn in tow, debating where to go first.
Cailyn was dragged and pushed out of the sanctuary. It was friendly pushing, non of the pushing the guards used to do to her. She was out of the sanctuary and out in the city now. Times square to be precise but Cailyn had no idea what it was. It was big with lots of screens showing all kind of commercials. She was amazed by all the people walking through the square and by the big screens.
The two red heads knew the way around this town and Cailyn felt a bit adventurous. She walked a bit behind the two girls and she stood there amazed at al the colors and people and all she could get out of her mouth was : "Wouw." with big eyes that couldn't stop moving.
Vibe chuckled and Amp rolled her eyes at Cailyn. The blond girl may as well have been a five-year-old with her reactions to things.
"All right, kid," Amp spoke up, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder. "First things first. We need to get you some decent clothes."
They paused in front of a clothing store, mannequins displaying a number of different styles in the window, everything from casual jeans and t-shirts, to lighter everyday dresses, skirts and blouses, to the more night-oriented garments and accessories. Some of them sparkled with fake rhinestones and glittery embellishments, while deep colors saturated others.
"See anything there you like? Or any colors you like?"
With their tag-along's inexperience, the Sonics didn't trust the girl not to be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of garments inside of the store. Best to get an idea first, then work from that.
They waited for an answer before entering the boutique, and looking around for a sales clerk. A young woman approached, a textbook 'sales smile' plastered on her face.
"All right, kid," Amp spoke up, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder. "First things first. We need to get you some decent clothes."
She gazed through the shop looking at all the clothes. She wasn't used to get to pick any of these types of things. The asylum picked you clothes for you. She walked around and looked at most of the things just in amuzement. It was more of a adventure for her then ever.
"See anything there you like? Or any colors you like?"
She found a white summerdress that really looked nice. She pointed at the dress. She just had to have it, it was like love at first sight. "That one." She said. She never had a dress before, even having her own clothes sounded exicting for her at the time.
The girls took note of Cailyn's choice, and it was the first thing they asked the saleswoman to find. While she went, the girls guided her toward the dressing rooms, pulling out other items along the way.
"White's fine and all," Vibe remarked, moving to a nearby rack, "but you really need some color, kid."
Dresses of blue, green, yellow, red and pink began forming a small pile on a nearby seat. A smaller mountain of shoe boxes grew to meet its larger cousin, courtesy of Amp.
"Ever worn high heels before?" She doubted it, but there was no time like the present to learn. If Cailyn didn't object, the Twins would continue to hand her things to try on.
"White's fine and all," Vibe remarked, moving to a nearby rack, "but you really need some color, kid."
The two girls stacked up the clothes and all Cailyn could do was watch the shopping apocalypse that where the two girls. She never knew this was going to happen. Luckely for her she didn't have to carry it all.
When she reached the dressingroom the pile was almost reached the hight of her head. It was a bit scary for to think that she had wear everything. "Ever worn high heels before?"
She nodded: No and continued to watch the girls go insane over clothes. For the first time she didn't feel like the odd one in the group looking at how the girls kept going. Several times she tried to interrupt them but everything a soft : "Uh." came out. She finnaly got the courage to ask: " Am i going to wear all that?" The question sounded a bit silly though coming from her.

"Uh. Am i going to wear all that?"
"Huh?" Amp glanced up at the hesitant query. Vibe just shook her head.
"Not all at once kid. But you can't go around everyday wearing the same dress. Especially not if you're going to be hanging around the Sanctuary." She thought for a moment. "Pretend they are new toys, with a new one to play with every day."
The saleswoman returned with the dress Cailyn had picked out, in several sizes. Vibe handed them to the girl.
"Try these one first, so we can figure out what size y'are."

Cailyn didn't have allot of toys. She had her daily puzzles and her pillow but never really normal toys. Clothes as toys sounded silly but if they could be toys it sounded fun to her. She simply nodded in response.
"Try these one first, so we can figure out what size y'are."
She got a few of the same dresses shoved into her hand and she was lead into the changing room. The curtain closed and Cailyn got a bit confused. She never wore a dress before. She first pulled of her shoes and pants and then her shirt. She then slipped into the first dress. It was to big and it sorta fell of her. She tried dress number 2 and it was to small she couldn't fit into it. She tried dress 3 and it fit. 3 was the charm seemingly. She got dressed and walked out of the changing room with a face as red as a tomato. She put her hands together and fiddled with her fingers out of nervousness.
